CRASH.
"Mud! Mukimudkip!"+ARI!! You freaking idiot! You crashed into the human...+ A Mudkip was standing a few feet away from the two, gaping at the smaller one who lay atop of Aryll, mud tracking all over the poor girl.
"Mudkipp..."+I'm sorry...+ Said Arielle, the female Mudkip of the two, half to Aryll and half to Israel, the other mudkip. "Mudkip mudkip mukii."+I was running and I lost control.+
Israel sighed. "Muki!"+Idiot!+ The male mudkip turned to Aryll. "Mudkip, Mudmudkipmud mukipmu."+Look, I'm sorry my sister is such a dope. I'm Israel, and she's Arielle.+
Arielle waved shyly. "Mu."+Hi.+ [/sup]

"Hey, get off Aryll." Cazz offered a helping hand to her new friend. "Wow, two Mudkips, that must be a pretty rare sight."
(I was kinda hoping for a pokemon I could catch.. but oh well.)

The startled Taillow squawked and took to the sky, the flapping of her wings breaking the silence of the night. Aryll was perhaps even more startled, as she fell back when the little Pokemon landed on top of her. She just sat there, not even too sure of what just happened. "Huh...?"

((You can't catch--but you can have them travel with you. You just can't force them to your every will. XD))
"Mud."+Um.+ Arielle's fin drooped, and she strained to get her paw off of her. "Mud...kip. Mudkimud."+I...can't. The mud dried and now it's like glue.+
This was true. The mud had stopped looking like slop, and now it was more like cement. A small mudkip such as her couldn't unstick herself too easily. Israel chagrined at the idea of what was happening, and therefore slapped his forehead. (obvious, people. make way.) [/sup]

Aryll, laughing, pulled the tiny Mudkip off of her. "Where did you come from?" Setting Arielle gently on the ground beside her, she got up. "Oh, there are two of you?" she said, when she noticed Israel. Nalia approached Arielle. +Hey, why did you, erm... 'attack' my trainer?+ She tried not to laugh as she said this. Keo stood by Nalia's side, ready to protect her if needed. "Cazz?" Aryll questioned, "do you know these Mudkips, or are they wild?"

((Ari-chan left a while ago. Wanna continue, Cazz, and if she comes back she can join again? In the meantime, we could get someone to mod for you, and play a Pokemon you can actually catch...))

"I presume they're wild, but they don't seem to mean any harm." Cazz replied. "So what are you two doing here?"
(Yup)

ooc; I swear. I used the Random Pokemon Generator, and this was the first to pop up.
ic; A low hoot it heard from the nearby branched of a tree. Hazel feathers shifted, the small ball-shaped owl tilting its head to the side, red eyes staring unblinkingly at the occurence of the two mudkips and the two trainers.
Small, inporportional wings shifted at the pokemon's side, the weight shifted from one foot to the next so fast that the Hoothoot had gained the impression of only having one foot.
It blinked stupidly at you, unaware that trainers like the two before him might well try to catch them right off the bat.

Cazz turned and saw the Hoothoot. "Go Hebi!" Out came her Ekans, the first pokemon she had caught. "Use Iron Tail to try and knock it off the branch."

The Branch splintered, sending the whole branch-and the hoothoot-down towards you. With immense effort, the Hoothoot flapped chubby wings and stay airborne, swaying slightly.
Hooting angrily, the pokemon shot towards the Ekans with a Tackle attack!

"Hebi, let it tackle you, and grab it in a Bind while it's close." Cazz instructed. Hebi put her tail out, and prepared to try and grab the Hoothoot.

Aryll stepped back, staying out of the way of the battle. Her Taillow once again perched on top of her head, Nalia jumped up into her arms, and Keo sat beside her, all three Pokemon closely watching the battle. Good luck, Aryll thought, but she said nothing aloud, to avoid distraction.

The Hoothoot was wrapped, chirping in pain. It did provide one advantage, though... Looking the Ekans squarly in teh eye, it began to use Hypnosis.

"No!" Ari cried as her pokemon fell asleep. "Hebi, return." She decided to switch pokemon. "Go Flare," she said, instructing the pokemon to go into the battle. "Use Hail," she instructed, moving back to avoid being hit.

Hoothoot squeaked in surprise as tiny pellets of ice began to fall from the sky. Flinching, it tried hard to avoid the confusing attack. Trying another Hypnosis on Flare, it just wanted to get out of the weather...

Flare managed to avoid the Hypnosis, unlike Hebi. "Good Flare, now use Powder Snow!"

The hoothoot let out a cry as the snowy attack hit. It was hard to fly in the snow but the pokemon swooped down or a tackle. "Hoooot!"

Flare was knocked back a bit by the Tackle, but recovered and used Ember. She knew that the Hoothoot didn't like Ice attacks! So what would it make of Fire as well?

The fire didn't do as bad as the Powder snow, but it still hurt. Squawking with rage, Hoothoot used Hypnosis on Flare, hoping that it could work this time.

Once again Flare avoided Hypnosis, and she decided to use Powder Snow again, since that had worked quite well before. "Good work Free!" Cazz said, giving encouragement.
