Boom.
Thunder clapped as dark, menacing clouds floated and blocked the rays of the meek sun. The boominng sound reverbrated through the air and land, causing vibrations and the very earth to quake in fear. Water splashed into the cold rainy air as the impact of the thunder made it shake. A streak of lightning filled the air, illuminating the area in front of Zintos while managing to take his breath away. The air was full of thick, clear raindrops splashing on stone, mud, and flesh.
And Zintos liked it. He liked it all. His favorite weather was thunder storms, just because of their nature and attitude. He loved lightning. It represented strength and deftness, and thunder represented pure power. Dark skies were what Zintos loved to dwell in, and the rain, it was just so relaxing.
His blond spikes melted, clinging to his head, but he didn't care. He looked up into the air and mentally embraced the clouds; the lightning; the rain. This was his domain. He stomped on a small puddle of rainwater forcefully, ripples of waves rolling through the bridge. It was pouring now, sheets of ice-cold water covering everything.
Zintos continued walking slowly, absorbing everything around him. He was taking care not to slip on the extremely damp stone on the bridge, taking each step carefully with booted feet.

You hear a small cry by the shore. Do you investigate its source?

Zintos heard the cry of a Pokemon somewhere over by the shore, muffled by the continuous patter of the raindrops. He ran over to the shore carefully to see what was making the noise.

You see a small azuarill crying on the shore. Another strike of lightning split through the air and created a booming thunder. It shddered and cryed louder. Tears were streaming down its eyes.

Zintos felt an unfamiliar emotion surge through his body. Was it...pity? Compassion, perhaps?
He shuddered and wandered closer to the crying Azurill, wondering if it would attack.

The Azumarril (sorry if i misspell) looked up as a shadow consumed the ground, covering it. It jumped up into the boy's arms in fear, still crying.

Zintos felt a pang of sympathy reverbrating through his body. How odd.
"Would you like to come with me, little guy?" asked Zintos nicely, accepting the sniveling Azurill into his arms.

The pokemon sniffed. "Zu!" it cried even more, eyes doubling by size. [/sup]

"Okay," said Zintos, standing up with the Azurill in his arms. "I'll call you...Kristina."

"Zurill," it said, and the tears stopped. Suddenly it looked Female.
...wow. That was weird.
The Azurill couldn't find a pokeball. "Azu?"+Where will I go when you aren't carrying me?+ [/sup]

Zintos smiled and lovingly petted the Azurill, pulling a Pokeball out of his pocket and droppinng it gently on Kristina.

The pokemon was sucked into the ball as a normal one would.
The ball shook once...twice...three times...DING!
You caught wild Azurill!

Zintos smiled to himself and dropped the Pokeball, and Kristina came out and jumped on his shoulder.
"Azu! Azu!"
For some reason, Kristina made him feel all mushy-gushy inside. He shuddered, and kept looking around, with his trusty Azurill on his shoulder, squeaking like crazy with happiness.

"WING" came a cry from above as a wingull swooped down towards the azurill.

"Whoa!" yelled Zintos, diving out of the way of the swooping Wingull. "Come out, Ayorah!" he said, throwing out a Premier Ball. Ayorah, his Larvitar, came out, ready to battle.
"Ayorah, cripple that bird with a Rock Slide!" he roared, hugging the utterly frightened Kristina to his body.

The bird dodges the rock throw and shot a large spout of water from its mouth.

Ayorah was grazed by the Water Gun, clutching his side in pain as the water hit it. He was angered.
"Ayorah, use a Screech attack!" roared Zintos, covering his poor Kristina's ears so she wouldn't get affected.
Ayorah raised his head to the heavens and opened his mouth. He let out a giant, loud, intimidating Screech.

The wingulls pattern of flight was screwed up for a moment by the horifying screech, but it still used a wing attack but it held back some, as it was a bit scared of the larvitar now.

Ayorah managed to avoid the tentative Wing Attack rather easily, and he used the opportunity to let loose anoter Rock Slide, aiming to cripple the water bird.

Lucky for the wild Wingull, it was swift enough to dodge the Rock Slide attack. It began emitting bizarre sound waves, a Supersonic attack, in attempt to confuse Ayorah.
