The Manor was huge. Huuuuuuuugggeeeee. Like, very huge. Ginormus, actally.
Zintos had been walking on the pathway to the manor for about a minute. He passed the huge fountain with the statue spoutinng water nervously, as to not break anything. It was stone, but Zintos was being paranoid. He probably couldn't even afford a pillar of this manor. It was obscenely expensive.
He looked at the doors. They were the biggest, grandest, most expensive-looking doors he'd ever seen. They were made out of gems and marble and even some diamond. Amazing. He stroked the door gently, but he withdrew his hand as if he'd been shot. He didn't want to leave a mark or anything. It'd cost a bajillion PD to replace.
Zintos entered the Manor. It was even bigger than it looked like on the outside. Many famous and influential people were there. The Elite Four. Every Gym leader. There was even free shrimp!
Many people were talking and being sophisticated and whatnot. There was live music, too. Betty and the Delcatties. Zintos felt a little out of place here, so he made his way to the back of the big room and into a dark hallway. He turned to the left, and his exit was cut off by a wall.
"I don't remember a wall being here..." muttered Zintos, utterly confused.

The walls seemed to shift magically, and a Banette appeared. "Hello good sir, my mistress's Guest," the Banette said in a monotone voice, in perfect human speech. "You shall be lost without my help throughout these tunnels. Or do you prefer to use this Escape Rope when you are done catching pokemon? Be warned, these pokemon range from levels 20 to 45. Be sure your pokemon are capable of the challenge."

Zintos took the Escape Rope from the Pokemon gratefully.
"Well, actually, I think I can go through these hallways on my own, but do you have a torch or something I can use?" asked Zintos, nervously looking around. There was a floating ghost. It was talking. In English.
Zintos felt very unnerved, a little bit of fear trickling down his spine. 20-45? Well, he had Stellobaum.

The Banette cracked open an eye. "A torch? Don't be absurd. But seeing as you don't need my services, good day." With a small whisp of smoke left, the Banette had disappeared.
"Puuupitaaaar.." A deep groan emitted from further down the hallway..

"Fine," muttered Zintos as the Banette disappeared. "Didn't want some talking ghost leading me anywhere anyways."
Zintos heard the groan of a Pokemon, and he followed the echo down the dark, spooky hallway. He suddenly felt nervous.
"Stellobaum, come on out," muttered the spiky-haired trainer, tossing a Pokeball into the air, than catching it and pocketing it immediatly.
A large bird of steel came out of the tiny Pokeball, screeching his arrival.
"Skar! Skarrr!" called the Skarmory, and trainer and Pokemon advanced down the hallway.

"Pupitar!" The pokemon suddenly lunged from the darkness at Stellobaum, trying to use Bite.

Zintos looked on, perplexed, as the large Pupitar flung itself towards Stellobaum, its fearsome fangs bared.
"Stellobaum, dodge it with an Agility!'
Stello tried, he really did, but he didn't react in time, and the Pupitar managed to latch on to his right wing, chomping hard. Of course, it wasn't that effective, as Stello was made out of steel. It hurt the Pupitar more than Stellobaum, as biting steel usually hurts a bit.
"Get it off your wing with a Steel Wing!" called his master, and Stellobaum swung his left wing fiercely to try to knock the Pupitar off.

"Tar!" It squealed, falling to the ground. It looked up at Stellobaum haughtily, and turned, using Sand Attack.

Stellobaum squawked loudly in protest, trying to cover his eyes with his wings, but the damage was done. He blinked a couple of times, trying to get the grit out of his vision.
"It's okay, Stello! Blow that Pupitar away with a Swift!" yelled Zintos, a little concerned.
Stello blindly shot many stars through the hallway at the offender, so its accuracy was guaranteed.

Stellobaum panted, getting up from the ground, dusting itself off from the battle.
"Excellent job, Stello," said Zintos, equally tired for some reason, patting Stellobaum on his metal crown.
Zintos reached into his pockets and pulled out a Premier Ball, which he promptly tossed at the fainted Larvitar.
