Itazuki smiled as she walked out of the Pokemon lab feeling victorious and now she was on to her new adventure. She had her very first Pokemon by her side and with her help Itazuki was on her way to the top. She had a brand new Spheal and couldn't wait for her first battle. Itazuki held the poke'ball in her hand rolling between her hands to get the feel of the cool metal. She soon fond herself calling out, "common out spheal." All she could see was the blinding flash of the poke'ball, she suddenly came face to face with a light blue, what looked to be a seal. Itazuki was enticed and couldn't remove her stare from that small lovable Pokemon. She leaned down so she could get a better look at her new friend, "Hi I'm Itazuki, I'm going to be your new friend." She then put her hand on her new Pokemon's head, "common let's go then," she said as she walked forward onto the new path. "It's off to our new destination route one, forward and on," she shouted with one finger pointing up in the air, and after that they were off.

"Pi...chuu...piii...chhuuu...pii pii pii.chu" came a voice from the bushes as a small yellow mouse stumbled out as it moved along happily not noticing the trainer.

Itazuki paused as soon as she saw the small pichu, her eyes lit up with glee. "Oh my god, it's so cute," she squealed. She slowly walked over to the pichu to get a better look at it. Itazuki knelled down so she wouldn't frighten it, she just watched and waited to see what the small yellow mouse Pokemon would do.

The electric rat pranced cheerily about, seeming to have no genuine objective in mind other than bounding around and looking adorable somewhere in the process. Owner of such an appealing face, it didn't prove prominently difficult -- this appeared to abruptly shift, however, when the Pichu caught a gander of the stealthy Itazuki.
"Pii..." it hissed in a manner alarmingly vehement, translating to little more than a venomous growl in the Pokemon tongue. Both delicate, carnation-pink cheeks sparkled with thin filaments of golden static, revealing the small rodent's already evident apprehension. The Pichu would not condone Itazuki staring at it beyond reasonable intentions.

Itazuki stumbled backward at this shocking result. She slowly got up and started to back away, when something caught her leg and she tripped. Itazuki lay there on the floor grasping her scrapped knee. Through the mist of her tears she looked around to see where or what the little electric mouse was doing or going to do.

<Stop back, I don't want to come any closer!> The small Pichu cried, still sparking small electrical waves from it's tiny cheeks, it was clear that this little pokemon was really afraid of the trainer.

"Wait, I don't want to hurt you," Itazuki cried. She tried to get up but her leg was still throbbing from tripping earlier. Itazuki lowered her head into her lap, she figured if she couldn't talk her way out of this she would have to fight her way out. "Spheal, attack," she cried.

ooc|| For one, you didn't even tell your Spheal what to do or... anything. It's hard to reply to that, really. In fact, you should probably tell it how to attack. Yes, that would work quite well.
bic|| The Pichu arched a brow, emotions bubbling harshly within -- a vicious concoction of fear and utter confusion. Did she just say... 'attack'? This was not sizing up to be a grand day, for the electric rodent was hungry and tired and petrified as a cornered Rattata. Both triangular ears were held upright, and again did the Pichu's mellow pink cheeks dance with bridled electricity, this time permitting several bolts escape and crackle brilliantly around its tiny form before abandoning it entirely and darting towards the Spheal.
The attack was merely tentative, and not of utmost accuracy. The wild rat desired to see if the Ice-type would chance anything of harm or not. Thus far, the odds had been, in a warped way, in the Pichu's favor.

(ooc:sorry, but it's my first time role playing, I'm still kinda new to the whole thing)
BIC:Itazuki's pain was gone and she was back on her feet and ready to battle. "Spheal, use powder snow," she watched and waited to see what would happen next, for she knew the chances of winning against an electric type with a water type were slim. All Itazuki could do though is watch and wait, cheering her spheal onto victory.

ooc|| Oh, don't worry about it! :3
bic||
Particles of frost were lifted by a spontaneously conjured wind, hurtling towards a rather afraid Pichu. Silky black eyes large, it could only watch and tremble as a savage Powder Snow came its way. The force of the ice was enough to barrel it over, and the rodent lay upon its back.
It could hardly move... the creature was, partially, frozen, snow tipping each yellow hair and settling calmly upon its face. The Pichu had adopted a surreal blue tint, teeth chattering wildly and body wracked by exceedingly violent shivers. For the time being, the Pokemon was immobile beyond hope of attack, and this had granted Itazuki a vital edge.

Itazuki had a look of sorrow and triumph in her eyes, she didn't want to hurt or worse kill the poor little creature. She grabbed a Pokemon ball from her pouch and threw it hoping to catch her very first Pokemon. Itazuki stood firm and still as she watched the red and white ball fly threw the air. Now all she had to do is wait.

The Pokémon was reduced to a mass of pale crimson light, inhaled by the sphere as it sat upon the ground and idly clicked into an open posture. Thrice the orb rocked violently, one round causing it to roll about a bit. Still a fair Pichusicle, the rat re-emerged, batting back the empty sphere with its tail to the best of its ability.
The status affliction alone was not enough to quell its power. Mayhaps Itazuki should take a more offensive approach?

Itazuki thought to herself before she recalled her Spheal. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a Pokémon ball, but this one had a Pokémon in it. Itazuki threw the ball calling out her Skitty. A bright flash of light flooded the area, when they all came face to face with a small pink cat like Pokemon, its eyes gleamed an icy blue glare as the sunlight penetrated them. "Skitty, use your tackle attack," Itazuki shouted out with glee, as she watched her new cat friend pounce into action, she hoped this would be enough to take that mouse down!

The Tackle connected and the Pichu flew backwards, slamming into a tree. Pieces of frost from the tree also landed atop the Pichu's head. The small mouse Pokemon shook off the ice and rose.
Using attacks like Tackle on Pichu, is a good move to get offensive, but is it a wise one. Only time and luck will tell.
The Pichu stepped forward and began to wink its eye and dance in a cute way. Apparently the Pichu was using Charm in hopes of lowering the Skitty's attack.

Itazuki's Skitty froze, mid-attack. The Skitty, sat swaying back and forth, A loud purr came from the pink cat. "Skitty,get your head in the game," I scolded my pink cat friend. "Use another tackle," I shouted. "common we can do this, I know we can!" She smiled and watched to see if this tackle would work.

<Chu!> The Pichu cried dodging the Tackle Attack just barely. <Take this!> The Pichu shouted, spending a blast of it's Thundershock Attack at the Skitty.

The Skitty winced at the thunder shock attack, but it just wasn't enough to stop this little kitty cat. The Skitty jumped back into a defensive pose and was ready to fight. "Get ready, Skitty, lets try and win this, use another tackle attack." Itazuki stood there waiting to see what would happen.

As Skitty barreled towards it, Pichu didn't have the energy to dodge. It let out a weak cry, expelling what was left of it's electrical energy in hopes of hitting the fickle feline. Thundershock wasn't the most powerful attack - but hopefully it would buy it a bit more time.
The force of the tackle knocked Pichu backwards a few paces. It winced, struggling to stand.

"This should do it, let's try another tackle, Skitty." Itazuki stood waiting to see if this would be it, if this would take the pichu down.

The Pichu, incapable of mobility, shut its eyes and merely permitted the coral-hued feline to strike it. The rodent tumbled backward several feet, another bruise occupying its now injury darkened pelt, and promptly lapsed into the warm, soothing abyss of unconsciousness.
[ Each participating Pokemon has gained one level. The Pichu is consequently open for capture. ]
