Two on two...Two on two... What had prompted the boy into doing something so stupid? He didn't know how to battle like this!
He could do nothing as his two pokemon were hit by the attacks. His Shinx let out an annoyed growl as the sand irritated his eyes. Ritsuka had to do something... he had to counter the attacks.
"S-Saleema! Use attract!" he said. "Err... Hescor, try and use a spark on that eevee!" The boy was nervous. There was twice as many things going on at once and he didn't really want to screw up. Especially not in front of someone else! It'd be just so... embarrassing, for him to lose.

The girl giggled softly in glee as her pokemon's attacks connected. "Yay! Good job guys!" she praised, keeping their spirits up. Her gaze was steadily focused on Ritsuka as she waited for a move from him. Stuttering slightly, he gave out his orders and Clonie frowned. She had thought he would be a good trainer, but right now in the midst of battle, he seemed unsure and insecure. She decided to evaluate him later and focus on the battle at hand.
"Kai!" she said, watching with a grimace as her eevee attempted to dodge, but the static cling was keeping her standing in place. She was unable to get away in time and as a result, was hit rather hard with the Spark. She twitched slightly as electricity sparked throughout her fur. "Tail Whip and then Tackle!" Clonie yelled. Kai hissed at the Shinx, before doing a Tail Whip smacking her tail in the electric pokemon's face. She then followed up with an Tackle. A sweet scent drifted past her nose, but she paid no attention to it, it didn't bother her.
Ich on the other hand was frozen, with the sweet scent flooding his mind with all sorts of romantic fantasies. Lovestruck for this turn, he took a running leap towards the Skitty. His arms were outstretched in a reaching manner as he attempted to hug the Attract inducing Pokémon. He could see them together, hanging out in a hot tub, resting together on the beach. His mind was so flooded with love, he didn't hear the desperate calls of his frantic trainer.
"Ich! No! She's a tramp, leave her alone!" she yelled fruitlessly. "Great." she grunted, knowing there was nothing she could do... yet.

Ritsuka was pretty angry at the other trainer's comment. His pokemon was no tramp! It was the stupid water crocodile's fault that he was so... loose-minded.
"Saleema! Show them what you're made of! Use a tackle on that thing!" The Skitty seemed to almost fool around a bit, skipping around a bit before going in for a tackle. Because he was so focused on this side of the battle, he didn't really notice his shinx getting hurt before it was too late.
"Hescor! I'm so sorry... Use a bite!" The electric pokemon's ears perked up at the command and immediately tried to sink its teeth into the front paws of the eevee.

Kai let out a squeal of pain as her right ear remained trapped inside the Shinx’s jaws, she had tried to get away as soon as she sensed the swift movement, but it was too late. Tugging back with her tails swishing dangerously behind her, she found her ear hurting even more as she tried to tug away to her freedom.
<Clonie!> The Eevee’s barking went right through the trainer’s ears, since she was more stressed out than ever with Ich’s loving behavior to their opponent. And it was even worse because after being struck by the Tackle attack, he got right back up trying to be persistent in wooing the Skitty. Giving her a sly wink from afar, despite his trainers dislike for her. It all seemed like a distant dream, where everything in the present was filled with clouds and happiness.
’it’s a trick…A stupid trick…’ Clonie seethed from the distance, really wishing that her Totodile could see what she could. Then they would be able to use a Rage, at maximum power. It seems that the trainer’s inexperience in battling was beginning to show, making it the perfect chance for Ritsuka to strike.

Ritsuka was becoming pretty excited. He could feel the momentum shift. He just had to ride it to victory. Hescor had the other eevee trapped between his jaw and Ritsuka didn't want that to change any time soon. The trainer thought about it for a moment before ordering a Spark attack. The Shinx took the order to a new level as he surrounded himself in an electric coating before rushing over to a nearby tree, ready to ram itself - and the eevee it was dragging along, onto it.
Meanwhile, the Skitty was greatly enjoying the attention she was being given by the water pokemon. Saleema seemed to almost preen at the Totodile before Ritsuka told her to get a grip and to use another tackle. She seemed a bit disappointed, waving her tail from side to side for a while before finally pouncing in for the attack.

Kai had no choice but to get dragged along wherever the Shinx wanted to go, but she was putting up one heck of a fight by pulling away at whatever costs to avoid hitting anything hard and painful. It happened anyway, since she really wasn’t physically strong for these types of things. Her body slowly slid down off of the tree as swirls filled her eyes, knocking her out instantly from the well-executed attack.
“Kai! Not you too!” Clonie cried out in surprise, not even realizing that her favorite little Eevee was in so much trouble in the first place. It was a lesson painfully learned, and feeling more than guilty returned the tiny fox back into her Pokeball for a good night’s rest. They would get some more training in tomorrow, but for now…They had a battle to finish.
“Don’t let that Skitty hurt you! At least dodge what you can!” Clonie called, as Ich only stared in disbelief to find that the Skitty was actually going to attack him. He was stunned, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t jump out of the way to keep on staring in shock. The effects of the Attract were finally disappearing into the back of his mind, and his bolder and revenge seeking self was back in action. And he just realized that Kai was knocked out by that blasted Shinx, another cause for the duos favorite move, Rage. In an angry frenzy, he shot after the Shinx as soon as he could with his claws and teeth bared. He would put up a hell of a fight until he fainted, which would take a while because he hadn’t taken that many hits.

The little lion cub seemed pretty surprised when the eevee disappeared in a beam of red light. He seemed to be wondering what happened when he felt claws dig into his skin. What was this? The totodile? Didn't Saleema take care of him already?
Ritsuka bit the bottom of his lips. He was almost afraid for Hescor. That totodile seemed so threatening. His Shinx was having a lot of trouble retaliating, sparks of electricity shooting out once in a while. Attempts of using a Spark was being tried but nothing seemed to work.
"Saleema, use Sing; try to help Hescor out a bit!" said Ritsuka, his tail clenching around a little pendant.
The pink Pokémon seemed pretty happy about the order and immediately started to sing, attempting to lull the Totodile to sleep. She seemed to even dance a bit to go with her song. Her voice wasn't the prettiest, but it still wasn't that bad. Ritsuka found it pretty soothing, actually enjoying the sound.

OOC: I had this problem with Hypnosis in my game, which is a little more accurate than sing.
BIC:
The Sing that could soothe even the more terrifying of beasts had Clonie hold her breath for several moments, the song wavering right through one ear and out the other. She couldn’t help but wonder if Ich’s rage would be cancelled out just from that one attack, but couldn’t help but give a weak smile to see that it wasn’t working. The mere sound of Saleema’s voice was just making him even sicker inside, sending a glare right at the dancing Skitty before changing targets.
The way this Totodile worked when under a spell of Rage was completely independent, not even Clonie could shake him out of it. Which gave her good reason to be afraid of him, but he could be friendly when he wanted to be. Just not when he was like this, which was for sure.
“Sorry, but when Ich is like this…I doubt that your Singing will help you out.” Clonie boasted, but tried to tone it down with a sympathetic smile. As cute as the Skitty was, she couldn’t help but pity the poor little thing.

ooc;; I know xD Sing never really worked for me either... unless we're talking about pokemon stadium ><;
The skitty didn't expect the angry totodile, fawning over her just a few minutes ago, to start attacking her like an enraged beast. She let out a squeal, trying to escape, but it was no use. She was relying on her Cute Charm to work, but at this point, it seemed hopeless.
"Saleema!" the trainer cried out. She wasn't the toughest of his pokemon and he knew she could only take so many hits. A bit more and she'd be a goner. "Hescor, do something! Err.. Try using a Spark!" The totodile was a water type. Water was weak against electricity. He was depending on that attack, for the totodile's Rage was starting to scare Ritsuka a lot. His hands were clenched on his pokemon's pokeball, ready to take them out of battle if need be.
Hescor had just been trying to recover a bit from the onslaught when he heard his teammate's cry. His trainer's command was the most sensible thing to do, at this point, even if it meant hurting the Skitty in the process. Quickly, he charged up some electricity around him before pouncing forward, over to the totodile for an electrifying tackle.

OOC: I mean Sing in general. It just never works when I want it too. Why? Is the accuracy different in Pokemon Stadium or something? Clonie head popped right up at Ritsuka’s commands, sensing the urgency in his voice from the sudden order. She was beginning to get a little worried too, because she was trapped in a battle where she only had one Pokémon left and now he was about to face off against a Super Effective attack. There was simply no way that he would listen to her and dodge in time, he was way more focused on biting the crap out of the Skitty, the poor thing. She kept trying to get away, but he wouldn’t stop chasing after her with those massive teeth. “Ich!” She cried, watching as her Totodile was knocked right away from his prey with the electrifying tackle, the force of the higher leveled Pokémon catching him off guard as he lay limp on the ground. He just needed a faint breather, and though struggling to get up, he was forced in place with tiny sparks dancing around him. The electricity had done a good number on him, but now he was a little slower than before. Getting right back up with a grunt, he sent glares at Hescor and Saleema, trying to figure out which one he should fight off first. “Ich, just use Scratch on the Shinx. He’s the one that did all of that damage to you.” She argued, watching from afar as Totodile nodded in agreement. At least that was one decision to take care of, and charged with his claws held in front of his, ready to scratch as much as he could with all he had left.

The attacks were a bit different in the first few generations. Sing was a lot more accurate, wrap and fire spin made you unable to do anything... The biggest change I'm finding is really in the accuracy xD Sing is such a cheap way to win in Stadium.
The Skitty was so relieved when the angry totodile was finally off her back. She found it hard to breathe and standing up was the last thing she wanted to do.
"Saleema... are you all r- HESCOR!" Ritsuka had no time to worry about her now. His Shinx was in trouble. The scratch had hit it hard. The pokemon tried to dodge it but the water pokemon was a bit faster. "Come on, Hescor. You can do it! Just one more attack. Try using a spark again," said the trainer.
The electricity around the lion cub was weak but determination flashed in his eyes. He was not going to go down. Not yet. With all its might -which wasn't all that much anymore-, Hescor lunged over, trying to land a hit.
Saleema was watching the events unfold rather rapidly before her eyes. Her... her teammate needed help. She needed to do something! She tried to stand on her four paws, succeeding for only a few seconds before crashing back down. Well, if she couldn't go there herself, then she might as well try to support Hescor. Closing her eyes, she used attract. Hey, it worked the first time around, didn't it?

OOC: I noticed the Wrap and Fire Spin stuff, which always annoyed me to death. But huh, sing? Good? Wow. BIC: Ich had no room or time to dodge the incoming Electric type attack, shoving him right back into the ground with vicious looking sparks covering his body. Occasionally giving him extra damage until they wore off once again, being a water type, he couldn’t help but cry out in pain while his limbs twitched as he rested on the ground, swirls in his eyes as he lost the will to battle. So attract was useless this time, completely missing the fainted Totodile as Clonie stood in complete silence for a good couple of moments. She finally accepted her defeat, returning her Totodile with a soft smile on her face while grinning at Ritsuka. “Ich and Kai should be fine. Even if they’re fainted, they should have enough energy to protect us on our way to the Pokémon Center. Thanks again for the battle, maybe I’ll see you around?” She asked with hopeful eyes, but somehow knew that she might not see him anytime soon. With that same cute grin on her face, she walked away into the bushes, headed in the direction of tall buildings in the distance. All participating Pokémon gain a level

Ritsuka watched as she left. He... he actually won? This was so... unexpected. He looked down at his two pokemon, congratulating them before letting them rest in their pokeball. He had to go and heal them too, soon. Glancing back up, he saw the girl's back, disappearing into the bushes.
Ritsuka ran towards her.
"Wait!" he cried out. He... he still didn't take his picture! He would be darned if he forgot about this battle, about the trainer. He told himself to take a picture of everything important that happened, and this was definitely important.
Camera in hand, he ran as fast as he could, the tail flying behind him as he tried to catch up.

The girl hadn't got far yet, and heard the call. Quizically, she walked back towards Ritsuka. When she was near to him again, she noticed that he was holding out a Camera. "What's wrong?" She asked, hiding her irritance. She just wanted to get back to the center and heal her Pokémon.

Ritsuka seemed lost for word for a bit. He guessed it was pretty embarrasing. Who else asked to take a picture with someone they had just battled with? Especially since he won... she might think he was gloating, or something.
"Err... would you mind taking a picture with me?" he asked. "I like to record ev erything that happened to me on film... so I don't forget anyone," he said. In his hand, a little digital camera rested, already prepped up to take a picture.

The girl cocked her head quizzically, before smiling slyly. "Sure." she said, her tone saying she totally didn't believe him. She didn't protest though, and sidled up to Ritsuka. Her arm grasped his wraist, as she waited, ready for the picture.
Before it could be snapped though, she smiled and said, "You know. If you just wanted a picture of me you could've just asked." she added, flirtatiously. After grinning for the camera she slipped away silently, waving her hand in the air as a farewell.
A small Buneary hopped after her, but quickly stopped as she rounded the corner out of sight. The Pokémon stood in the middle of the path, a rather nervous expression on it's face. At the sight of the trainer, it started for a moment, before hopping closer.
The rabbit Pokémon held it's ears as it spoke with a trembling voice. <H-hi. I'm Lo.> it timidly began. It seemed scared to speak more unless it received a response.
