Leah watched as the spark hit the Beautifly, but she knew that couldn't do it. "Use quick attack." She said, as Terrance rushed quickly at the pokemon, but he didn't expect the string shot. He felt the sticky thread wrap around him and he landed on the ground. "Erg!" He yelled, trying to get out of the string, but it clung to him pretty well. "Shoot.." Leah said as Terrance continued to wiggle around, but with no prevail. Terrance let out a growl unintentionally, before his cheeks began to spark again. "Tch.." He muttered, and Leah thought of something. "Use your electricity to burn the thread!" She yelled, and Terrance let the electricity surround his body, while the heat from the electricity began to make the string become hard, and breakable.
He stopped, before struggling with the thread, and it began to break a bit. Leah bit her bottom lip, hoping the paralysis would kept those two busy as Terrance continued to work with the string shot. Eric grinned his teeth as the pokemon blocked his attack, but didn't let it get to him. With the dust still in the air, it was a bit hard to see. He felt something pound against him, and the air rush out of him, before he landed on his back. He quickly got up as a reflex, and growled. "Why you son of a-" He hissed at the Elekid. He was really starting to get on his nerves. He went for another scratch attack getting tired of this battle already.

“Throw it before the thread breaks!” Alan cried, watching as his Beautifly did the best she could to lift her head and swing the weight of Terrance along with the string in the opposite direction, but it ended up being somewhat of a weak throw. Her body movement was cut short as she fell to the ground in a daze, the paralysis keeping her from going back into the air.
’Maybe this is a good thing? She won’t be as weak to electricity if she’s on the ground.’ He thought, remembering that that was the only reason why Plants and Ground types were resistant to electricity in the first place. They had bodies that were connected to the ground, so any electricity would just go right through them and into the ground below. So if that Minun knew any electric attacks, it wouldn’t hurt as much as it would if she was in the air. Hey! He liked science, can’t blame a kid for studying during Summer Vacation. Now if only that Elekid knew that much, then it might have a chance against Eric.
This time the Elekid was scratched right in the middle of its chest, a more painful blow than anything else it had suffered so far, skidding backwards with its remaining arm to cover the wound. <You bastard! Arceus dammit!> It swore multiple times in its own language, good thing that Alan couldn’t understand it. Its static ability was going nuts now, trying to latch onto anything that touched it to give off a little charge of electricity, but ground types wouldn’t be affected by that…right?
Since it didn’t know the answer to anything anymore, it attempted to strike the Sandshrew with another speedy Quick Attack, sensing his distress from it the last time the attack was used.

"Ah!" Terrance yelled as he was thrown. He hadn't expected this, and for being such a little guy, he didn't weigh much, and even if it was a weak throw, Terrance didn't enjoy is. Then, he heard a large crack, and the string shot broke, and he flew a bit before hitting the ground. "Ow.." He moaned, and opened one eye to see Leah's shocked and worried face. "Terrance!" She yelled, eyes wide and her tail flickered in panic. The Minun huffed and pushed himself up, and muttered something to himself. "I'm okay.." He said, shaking the dust from his fur, before turning to the paralyzed Beautifly. She was on the ground, which meant he could use physical attacks. Leah bit her lip, before seeing her pokemon's ready position. "Use quick attack again!" She yelled, as the electric mouse moved quickly at the pokemon.
Erick smirked as the Elekid cursed. That obviously meant he did some damage to the thing. He ignored the sparks, as they wouldn't do anything to him, but the yell of Terrance distracted him, as he glanced over to the pokemon, who was thrown. He didn't realize the Elekid rushing in, until he heard his trainer's cry. "Eric! Watch it!" He hastily looked to the Elekid, in time to be impacted and felt the air rush out of him again. In a reflex, he brought his arm down in attempt to hit him. Leah flinched at the impact, and worried about her pokemon, seeing as this was a tough battle. Not to mention the previous battle before he had fought in. Damn. This wasn't going well.

Beauty had no time to even shout out as she was hit by the quick attack, not being able to avoid the blur that was Minun. Her frail body couldn't take much physical pouning, but when she was in the air she was venerable to electric attacks. Flapping her beautiful wings, Beautifly rose up to about two inches above the ground, so that she could land or fly upwards in a moments notice. Beautifly took a deep breath before collecting a massive ball of energy and spitting it out, where it split to create a bunch of health draining green spores, that floated quickly towards Minun. An Absorb attack.
Meanwhile, Elekid had nothing to do but use another quick attack, jumping in and striking downward. But this time he attempted to hit so hard that Sandshrew bounced back into the air slightly, so Elekid could hurl him even higher, thus leaving him defenceless against his thundershock attack. It probably wouldn't work, but it was worth a try.

Terrance slid back, having a deeply determined look on his face as he saw the Beautfly rise in the air. What was it doing? If it was in the air, it was vulnerable to electric attacks! Terrance resisted trying to warn the other pokemon, as he looked to Leah, and nodded for another command. Leah had a bit of a strained look, but nodded as well. "Alright! Use Thunder Wave again!" She yelled, as she glanced over to Eric. Oh please win..
Eric felt the impact of the Elekid's quick attack, and only stumbled back, due to his hard skin, he was a bit of a rock. "This is starting to piss me off." He hissed, clenching his fist tightly. He wanted to pound this thing to the brink of death, but right now, he just needed to get it knocked out without being defeated in the process. "You fight like a girl!" He yelled to the Elekid. Maybe he could get this thing angry enough to where it would just be attacking aimlessly. He charged at the pokemon again with a scratch attack.
