The moon was full and high in the night sky. Silence was rare at this time as for a storm was still over head. Clashing of thunder broke the silence of the night. Rain still crashed heavily into the earth as if trying to destroy the ground it smashed. A bright light emitted in the darkness. The flash vanished quickly as it came, revealing to be a light from a pokeball. In the distance was a male dressed in dark clothing and a small Turtwig. Both not minding the rain at all. In fact, the little turtle enjoyed the rain. Why wouldn't it? "Finally, away from those other humans. Just me and you for now, Tremito. C'mon. This rain wont slow us from getting where we need." Lukas began to walk as his Turtwig happily trotted behind him. Lukas, himself, walking casually as if it wasn't even raining like it was. As the minutes grew, as did the storm. By now, lightning had began to collapse more often. Striking the Earth in a fury.

The storm indeed did sway everything in it's path. Trees, shrubs, grasses and leaves clashed together to follow again the hard wind that blew across the land. Pokemon scattered, fear of the storm and went into hiding in case of any danger. Route one's path was narrow and some branches from the trees pushed out to be in the way of the Route one path. A lone Meowth crawled out on one branch, not far from the near by trainer. He yawned, stretching his claws out as he laid on the branch, his eyes glowing, watching the trainer and his Turtwig.

In a clash of thunder, the sky lit up brightly from lightning. Revealing all surroundings of the night. The bolt was so close, even a blind man would of saw it. This light lingered around just enough to show what was needed. {Over there!} Tremito cried out, trying to show his trainer where to look. Lukas turned and looked up, "A Meowith?" With zero fear, he stepped up closer to the tree, Tremito right behind him. "Why would you be out here? If I am correct, a little cat wouldn't dare touch water. It's only a feline nature. So, would rather come with us or sit out and become soaked from this storm? Your choice, if you wish to come with. I would make due with a quick battle, little Meowith. If not, then flee away."

The Meowth glared at Lukas, seemingly knowing his thoughts. He leaped out, eyes glowing with contempt, and stared. <Why you whole lotta worthless!> The small cat pounced towards him with a Bite attack, but stopped suddenly. He glanced at the Turtwig by the trainer's side.
<Who are you?> His eyes flickered gently, as if he had something to do with this Turtwig. Then he seemed to make up his mind. <Who are you and what are you doing in my forest, by my tree?> He shouted loudly, as if to make up for the loud wind that was whipping up in the skies. It sure wasn't comfortable. Quite awkward, actually, but it needed to be done if he didn't want these strangers patrolling his land. His land.

Pokemon never were unsurprising to him, this one just had some spunk to him. Lukas watched the Meowith carefully, taking note he was agitated. He had grown to understand their feelings more than a human's. Of course, he saw humans pathetic unlike Pokemon. "Tremito, attempt to relax him. Bring him to our decision," Lukas said after backing up slightly, keeping his hands in his pockets. Tremito respectfully nodded {I am Tremito, and this is my Trainer, Lukas. As for what we are doing, we are going through this path on our own. We just managed to run into you. Now, he wishes for us to battle or you run. You will be treated well as I can tell already from him.}

<"THIS IS MY HOME. MY HOME."> The Meowth screeched, obviously extremely territorial. He wasn't just going to let them walk all over him. He hissed loudly, in an attempt to look more dangerous.
His body curled into a ball, a short moment before he had launched him, his legs springing to give more speed in his pounce. His tail back, giving a small amount of balance to his stance. his arms were outstretched, determined to keep hold of the Turwig if he was able to bite the pokemon. Without any warning, the Meowth launched himself, his jaw opening, this time no more holding back.

Lukas let out a soft sigh, he understood what was about to happen. "Break your little fangs I suppose?" Lukas stepped away from the battle area, "Tremito, withdraw into your shell. Show him that it's not smart to bite at a turtle."Tremito was a little surprised about the attack call but he quickly lowered himself and tucked all limbs into his tiny shell. Hiding there until his next command. Sure it would hurt, but it was more common sense than leaving fleshy parts out for fangs to sink into.

[Ooc: yay mod coin ^^]
The little Meowth ran towards the Turtwig, even though he used Withdraw. As he went in, he rolled a bit on the ground, completely forgetting that the Turtwig was using a defense move and used Bite. Meowth bit down, hard but, jumped back as the sting from the withdraw had pushed in his little fangs. [Owie!!] He pawed at his face, in pure pain and backed up against his tree, which he had called his home. The bite attack may of recoiled a bit but, it had to of done a little damage to Turtwig.

"Good work, you can come out." Lukas grinned and kneeled down, just relaxing in the rain as he was confidant. "Tremito, trap him. Sand Tomb." He was so sure of a clean victory, even the tone of his voice was relaxed, yet cocky. Tremito took his little legs and vibrated the earth, sending certain vibrations right underneath the Meowith. {I told you he was smart.} Even the Turtwig was as cocky as his trainer now. In a split second, the ground underneath the Meowith began to sink. If the Meowith was smart enough, it would move in its little seconds of time it had to escape the sinking earth. Though of course, the two hoped it work. It would leave a great opening for multiple attacks.

The Meowth, upset that he had hurt his little fangs, the source of most of his courage, didn't seem to notice the sand tomb that was right under him. This attack would make a foe be trapped for a few turns and unless you moved, you were stuck. The Meowth fell in, stuck and a bit confused. [Get away from my house!] he yelled, angry now, kicking under the sand and clawing at the top of it. He was stuck alright, and it was only a matter of time before he could get out and unleash his anger on the Turtwig.

Tremito looked up at Lukas, "Perfect. He's trapped now. The little Meowith can't do much for a bit. That should calm his nature. Now, give him a nice hard tackle. Double the damage." Lukas had indeed studied. He knew that attacking with Sand Tomb and tackle would increase damage. Sand Tomb alone would hurt its victim, but combining with another attack, that's just even better. Tremito nodded and took full charge, fast for a turtle. The storm only made Tremito excited about the battle. It relaxed him as the rain soothed his little leaves on his head. The Turtwig leaped up an inch off the ground to send the entire side of his body at the Meowith. The only form of dodging at this point for the Meowith would to duck. That would be in fact difficult for having a turtle charging him, though not impossible.

It was only a few moments of being trapped in the sand until the meowth figured out that struggling wouldn't do much good. The meowth was sinking slowly, but not all hope was lost. Looking up with ears perked, the cat saw the turtle heading straight for it. Eyes widened, meowth focused his energy into his arms, ducked at the last second, and then grabbed onto the turtle's shell with claws unsheathed. The meowth managed to stay on, using his opponent as transportation, and let go of the turtle Pokémon when it was safe enough. In front of him, the sand tomb was still grinding.
[You're not getting the best of me yet...] Hissing and spitting with anger, the cat came at the turtle with outstretched claws. Now he's pissed.

Lukas quickly rose up at the reaction of the Meowith. "Not bad, little cat." Lukas sighed and closed his eyes. "Tremito, withdraw. Hide under defense for now. I have a plan." The Turtwig reacted as quickly as possible, ducking into its shell swiftly. He was sure of his trainer, but confused why he had to be on the defense. "For safety, place a Sand Tomb in its path." Tremito stuttered but quickly sent vibrations through his shell and into the ground. Again, collapsing the dirt in the attack path. Would be smart to change paths, or just stop. This was only a distraction attempt. The withdraw, simply to just defend against the scratching.

The cat was still soaring through the air with outstretched claws as the opponent was carrying out his human's orders. Finally the cat fell upon the turtle, raking its shell hopelessly. The meowth yowled as he realized that his attacks were inferior as long as the turtwig could withdraw. Yet the cat still hung on, knowing that if he let go, he'd fall into the sand tomb behind him.

Lukas held back the laughter at the amusing Meowith. "Alright, trust me on this. Tremito, back legs, only reveal them. Push into the Sand Tomb, but keep your legs anchored!" A risk? Sure he's done all commands, but taking risk at throwing himself into his own attack? Was his trainer mad? All these questions went through his head quickly before his back legs burst from hiding and gave himself a hard push forward. His eyes peeked through the hole, carefully watching where he was. Shakingly, he slammed his legs into the mud from the on pouring rain, sinking them as an anchor. "Perfect, now just shake him off." The Turtwig was skeptic at first, but began to to shake roughly, though not too much. Trying to shake the Meowith off into to the Sand Tomb, but not himself also. Sure there was no attack this time, but he was still on the strong defensive.

The wild meowth let out a large screech and turned back to Lukas, the normal type flew off the grass-types body with one quick shake. The wild cat pokemon had become un-concious as he flew through the air landing in a pile of mud. His body had been sapped by this battle, and he had barely a sliver of health left and had no energy to turn around and run.
The Meowth relaxed its head on the mud and stood perfectly still. Fainted.
Turtwig has gained one level! Capture or move on?

Lukas relaxed as a soft thunder clapped. The battle was done, thankfully. Now they could keep going. "Good job, Tremito. Let's catch it and go." Lukas reached into a hidden pocket, grabbing a pokeball from pretty much no where. He soon threw it towards the little Meowith. The two watched to ball string out a red light and pull the pokemon in. Now watching it wiggle in the mud.

You captured...Name: you choose Gender: Level: 6 Attacks: Growl, Scratch, Bite Personality: Protective, doesn't like to share, very greedy Obtained: route one As the ball closed, and storm came to a closing as well, the night becoming a bit more calm, with stars in the sky. A small Aron came out from the bushes, noticing the close of the Poke ball, and walked up to it with pure curiosity. [ball?] he seemed to ask himself, poking it lightly and then, when it rolled, a smiled came across his face. [play!] He smiled, walking around the ball playfully.

Lukas stepped forward to the Aron. A little surprised such a thing would be out at this time. Before the Aron could get a chance, he turned to Tremito. No pokemon would willingly jump into a ball and he didn't feel like going through a verbal battle. "Tremito.. Sand Tomb. Aron's steel and ground, he'll take a great amount of damage." The Turtwig stiffed every limb. Vibrating against the earth to send vibrations through the ground. Sending the right amount underneath the little Iron Pokemon. The earth began to sink, trying to suck the Aron into the ground and grip it for a good few times. Hopefully the surprise attack would work.

Aron was hit hard with sand tomb, he fell back and shook off the attack, but he seemed to be already tired. Feeling upset that he would be attack, even though he just wanted to play, Aron ran at the Turtwig with a tackle attack.
Aron used Tackle!
Two females were very impressed with this Aron, even though he was a complete weakling. They stepped out of the bushes to help out, making it a total of three Aron now.
