It had been fun exploring many of the side routes of the region. Already she conquered the Mountains, the Underground Cave, and the Hot springs, (if that counted), and already she moved onto the Volcano.
The heat was unbearably hot, but that wasn't the cause of her annoyance. Walking alongside her were her two favorite Pokemon, Bonito and Guapo. One was a light, and the other a Shadow Pokémon. Naturally, the two despised each other with a flaming passion. Guapo being more mature about it and constantly telling himself that he wouldn't bicker any longer, but if Bonito said anything or rolled his eyes, the two would be at it again.
"Come on guys, the point of this trip is so you can get along. I don't want to go through another battle like the one with Aqua. Shy was just so..." Karen was left to stop and stare as the two had gotten into an actual fist fight. None were dealing blows just yet, because both of their hands were locked in the others, the Shadow Tyrogue's eyes narrowed as his 'reflection' stared right back at him. If she wanted to explore the entire Volcano as planned, it would take at least a month...

::cleffa:: ::charmeleon:: //Beauty&TheBeast
<Please no....> a soft timid voice pleaded. The cleffa's eyes went wide as she looked at the tall red pokemon infront of her. <Please! Please!> she begged over and over again. Tears were begining to stream down her soft pink cheeks. She had to do something before it was to late. She was just too tiny to fight back. She needed help and she needed it quick. Only one problem. She had no friends. This Charmeleon was the closest thing she had to a friend and he teased her constantly. This time, his teasing had gone too far.
That was when she spotted Karen. Karen was a savior in the Cleffa's eyes. She ran over quickly, leaving the Charmeleon confused. <You there!> she shouted to Karen, desperate to get her attention. <My friend over there took my doll. It's really important to me. Will you please help me get it back?> The young Cleffa was afraid that Charmeleon might use ember on the doll and burn it. She always assumed the worst possible outcome, but she had a reason to. That doll was the most precious object to her. Her mother had given it to her as a child. Cleffa had no clue how her mother had gotten it but now that her mother had been taken away by some trainer.
As Cleffa was begging for help from Karen, the Charmeleon was standing there utterly confused. A small doll lay limp in his grip. If you looked closely you could see that it was a pokemon trainer doll. Infact it took a strange likeness to the famous water gym leader Misty. How had Cleffa's mother come across that? Anywho, the Charmeleon was confused because Cleffa had never run to anyone for help before. The little pink puffball usually just went along with it and waited for the teasing to stop. <Hey Puffball,> the Charmeleon sneered towards the Cleffa. Puffball would be a more suitable nickname for an igglybuff, but it fit the Cleffa perfectly. Her fur was more fuzzy and curly than that of a normal Cleffa.
<Are you too scared to do anything yourself? See, I've always known that you've been just a pathetic little Cleffa. Cleffa's are probably the stupidest pokemon ever.> Yeah. He was kinda mean to her even though she saw him as her best friend.

Over the shouting and bickering between the two fighting types, Karen had been somewhat distracted. Almost in her own little world to even begin to see the Charmeleon picking on the Cleffa. It was getting to the point where she was about to butt in and throw the two against the wall when something small latched onto her leg, holding her in place.
"Let me go! Uh...Wait, whats even holding me down?" The trainer blinked a couple of times as she caught sight of the baby Cleffa, dumbfounded as to why it was so clingy. The lack of attention was enough to stop Bonito from fighting with Guapo, letting go of the others hands as he stopped to listen in on the plea for help. A Cleffa...Why do they always look so cute? He thought with a small blush on his face. Ever since that time in the mountains, the Tyrogue earned a special respect for anyone in the Clefairy family. His thoughts were interrupted by another, who ran right over to the Cleffa with a concerned expression in his eyes. The light Tyrogue went down on one knee, looking right into the Cleffas eyes with a friendly smile.
<We'll get your doll back. Friend or not.> The heroic Guapo responded with a reassuring grin. Not exactly expecting this 'friend' of hers to be a big and ugly Charmeleon. Still, he expected the best out of people and Pokemon, and trotted right over with another friendly grin.
<Hello. I was just wondering if you could return the doll? > Guapo quietly murmured out, fiddling with his hands as he dared to look into the fearsome eyes of the future flying type. The nasty fangs that could tear him limb for limb. The flickering tongue that spat out insults faster than the batting cages.
"I don't get what's going on...But I have a feeling that that Charmeleon's got something to do with it." Karen started in a suspicious tone, picking the Cleffa right up to try and cradle her in her arms. She had a pretty strong grip, so she doubted that the Cleffa would fall out. After all, she had great experience with children since she had Kaja and Watt.
Bonito gave a growl with every insult the fire type shot out at the tiny Cleffa. Now this guy was just pissing him off. So what if the Cleffa couldn't fight if her life depended on it, or think for that matter. At least she had the smarts to find a strong trainer to beat the stuffing outta jerks like this guy. Straightening out the Focus Band around his head, he merely stood behind Karen. Sending a threatening glance at the Charmeleon from afar, cracking his knuckles for an extra dramatic effect.

The cute, little Cleffa simply blushed as she hear the heroic Guapo respond to her plea for help. The Cleffa seemed to feel a little more confidence when Guapo decided to take a stand for her.
As Karen lifted the tiny Cleffa up into her arms, she quickly started to snuggle up to the trainer. <Please be careful!> She shouted over to the light fighting Pokémon.
"Why would I return this doll back to little of Puffball, when it was so much fun to take it from her," Charmeleon replied with a evil smirk. He then started to nibble on the doll a little with his keen fangs. "Hey, Look into my eyes when you're talking to me or either standing in front of me!" The fire lizard snapped at Guapo for no reason, just to be a butt hole. The Charmeleon then looked over at Bonito. <Do you have a problem?> He asked, blowing a harmless stream of smoke over into the shadow fighting pokemon's direction. <You two are as stupid as the that little Puffball over there,> He added, laughing out loud, before taking another nibble out of the Cleffa's doll.
<NO STOP, PLEASE, YOU KNOW THAT MY MOM GAVE ME THAT DOLL!> She cried, as tiny, clear tears flowed down her puffy face like little raindrops. The Cleffa was really started to get upset now, seeing that her so called "friend" was trying to destory the only gift that she had to remember her long gone mother.

As the Cleffa cuddled up to her, Karen couldn't help but giggle at the baby Pokemon's cuteness. Obviously she had a knack for finding the sweetest Pokémon around. Giving a gentle stroke of her fingers against the Cleffa's head, she smiled even more. For some reason, she just couldn't stop. Perhaps she fell for the Cute Charm, imagine that. A human falling for something like that.
Guapo jolted upright, not expecting the Charmeleon to be so blunt and to say something so rude. In fact, he reminded him of a fat and lazy version of Bonito. Why did Karen have a knack for finding such jerks? He complained as he took a step back, flinching as the fire type nibbled on the Cleffa's favorite doll. If it was such a treasure, why would he even think of doing that? What could the Pokémon be thinking?
<Y-You should stop. I'm warning you!> The Light Tyrogue began, feeling a little pumped up by the Cleffa's cries for help. He wasn't feeling very up to the challenge, but he had done some good training with Karen earlier. At least enough to practice a couple of moves where wild Pokémon couldn't bother them. But this was his first encounter with a wild Pokemon, for he wasn't born a wild Pokémon. Come to think of it, Bonito wasn't either. He exchanged glances with the shadow Tyrogue before deciding that enough was enough. He'd get that doll back no matter what!
"Okay, I think I get what's going on now. Guapo, no attacking. Just use Agility to show that punk a thing or two about swiping a toy!" She ordered, a bit relieved to finally understand the rough bones of the story. Though she had no idea how important the toy was to the Cleffa, she was just ticked off that anyone would make such a cutie cry out like this.
The light Tyrogue nodded, getting down on one knee for his running stance. As a light Pokemon, he was naturally fast, but when combined with Agility, he was almost invisible. That didn't mean that he wasn't afraid, there was always the threat of being burned to a crisp, or being shredded to pieces. Making a crazy mad dash to the left, he zipped over to the back of the Charmeleon and then back to the front. Simply warming up with his speed powers as he suddenly made a lunge for the doll. Dragon ball Z style!
Bonito only sighed to himself as he resisted the urge to look directly at the cleffa. It was almost a losing battle, until the Charmeleon made a smart Aleck comment about him. Though he never really cared for Guapo's enemies, this suddenly became a battle of respect. Verbally at least.
<Maybe I do! In fact, you almost made me sick seeing you play with dolls. Its pathetic to see a Charmeleon sink so low. What? Your mommy couldn't afford one, so you had to go ahead and take this one's toys? Seems like a fair deal. She had a doll, but no mom, but you probably still live with your mom, and now you have a doll. > He ranted, crossing his arms as he pretended to look offended. Only peeking out of one eye to see the fire type's reaction, something he couldn't help but do. The curiosity was just killing him, he wanted to see this fire type explode so badly!

The cleffa cowered in fear of the fight. The pokemon herself had a horrible tendentcy to hate fights so much. It was like a burning desire to just yell out to stop them. But all she could ever manage was a pitiful squeak, and managed to get laughed at. So she now stuck to the sidelines, sobbing into the trainer's leg.
<Y-You should stop. I'm warning you!>
The charmeleon scoffed at the puny tyrogue insulting him like that. It tried to be brave, it had to give it that, but no mercy was coming from the beast. It let a loose tenor chuckle escape its lizard mouth in an intimidating tone. -You don't know what you're messing with, kid.- It growled, lowering itself to the ground, ready to battle the thing. It kept the doll pulled to its chest with one hand, and his free arm out stretched ready to attack. He saw the glance to the other pokemon that he was teamed with, oddly similar, but with different hues. A two on one was fine by him, he knew that the Cleffa was not inclined to battle along side them.
The lighter glowing one knelt down after the human spoke orders. Something he was all too accustomed to, the humans always ordering them around. That showed weakness, not fighting for himself. His opponent knelt to the ground, as if about to start a race. Agility.. He thought to himself. Easy, nothing was too fast for him. But the pokemon took off with amazing speed, lightning! Nothing her had ever witnessed. He clung the doll, tightly enclosing it. But still, the pokemon was pushing his speed limit. And whithin a blink of an eye, the doll was taken.
This had made him royally ticked off. He pulled a wry grin to his face as his anger flooded. He could fight easier with his claws free, anyway. -You asked for it, kid.- He warned. He puffed up his chest, and exhaled a blue and white flame of rage. More precise, dragon rage. He stood proud as the flames engulfed the field.
But that wasn't his only problem, the damned shadow clone had to talk to. He eyed the hot shot with a glaring look. -You talk tough for a kid who hasn't even proved himself! Your friend here is probably tougher than you! He's the one who's actually fought, while you just stand there on the sidelines!- He scoffed, purposely trying to bring out the worst in him. He was ready to take them both on, nothing like a good fight.

Skidding to a halt as soon as it registered in his mind that he had successfully grabbed the doll, the Tyrogue held it up in the air to get a better look at it. It appeared to be in good condition, except for a couple of teeth marks, but the Cleffa should be happy with it.
Resting it between his arm and his chest, he turned around just in time to see a horrifying Dragon Rage heading his way. There was no time to dodge, at the most he could only turn around to protect the doll from the mysterious blue flames. That was instantly 40 hp taken away, usually deadly to lower leveled Pokemon. But he wasn't that low in the levels. Waiting until the blast of the attack was taken away, the Light Tyrogue shuddered as he attempted to stand up, a bit sore from the powerful fire blast, but otherwise alright. Walking right up to Cleffa with a sincere face, he handed the Pokedoll to her, for her to take care of. It was better that she held it than him, since he was going to end up fighting this ugly beast.
<Guapo's just an idiot. You don't even know what I'm capable of!> Bonito hissed, about to charge in there if Karen hadn't placed a hand on his shoulder. Instantly he calmed down enough to watch his Light counter part handle the battle, it was rather nice seeing his rival fight from a distance for once. It gave him the chance to understand his strategy, and his movements.
'Alright, lets stay fast. ' The trainer thought as she decided that commanding Guapo would be better now than waiting for a counter attack from the Charmeleon.
"Lets scare him off some with a Fake Out." She called, watching the Light Tyrogue nod his head in approval as he went in another dash position. Always taking the time to build up some of his energy before rushing ahead at an almost blinding speed, at least as high as a level 18 Pokemon could run at.

The lighter opponent seemed to be happy with its capture of the doll, as it should have been. The lizard admitted to himself, it was faster than he. The fire type was in for some trouble if it could maintain this high speed, he couldn't fight against something that could avoid everything. But a proud look struck his face as he saw the pokemon suffer from the flaming attack. It had easily taken well over 30 damage. Perhaps even 40! He grinned, very pleased.
<Guapo's just an idiot. You don't even know what I'm capable of!> Sneered the shadowed one. The trainer had to restrain the pokemon from attacking. He couldn't help but grimace. -Damn humans always holding us back. It's disgusting.- Was all he could say to him. It wasn't worth coaxing him out to battle. He might not even win this one on one...
On cue to the trainer, the fast tyrogue was already kneeling, readying to charge again. What was he planning to do? The pokemon braced itself, shielding its face and front with his strong arms. It stayed paralyzed, braced for an attack.

We stalled the Charmeleon...But, I'm wondering if we really could defeat it by using Tackle? She was left to wonder after a successful Fake Out was unleashed. It wasn't really meant for doing much damage, but she'd take what they could get. Who knows? Maybe it would make the Tackle attack seem much worse than it really was.
Karen remembered her Uncle telling her about that once, using the art of illusions. It was never something she really understood except for a select few, but it never ceased to baffle her. "Tackle it." She called, getting down into an Indian style sitting position. With the Cleffa and Bonito nearby, this battle just became a movie. All they needed was popcorn.
The Light Tyrogue gasped as he felt fatigue strain his legs from moving properly. A fault from his splendid speed was his lack of endurance. Not that he wasn't strong, he could still make a couple of good hits, but he was just better at dodging, and annoying. Either way, an order was an order. Making a turn at the Charmeleon's side, he tackled as the Charmeleon held up his arms to protect his face in an attempt to knock the big lizard over.

The cleffa was searching for security, and was gladly appeased when Karen sat down with her legs crossed. The small pink puff jumped quickly into her lap, hugging her stomach with the tiny arms she had that were completely stretched out. <I can't bear to watch!> It cried.
But the charmeleon was anything but happy. He was braced, wondering what the Tyrogue was going to do with his turn to attack. The charmeleon still stayed ready for an attack, but nothing came. He waited a few more seconds, before realizing he had been tricked into a fake out. He growled, and loosened his defense, only to find the light pokemon charging towards him with a tackle. It hit him full on, being a critical hit. How was he being beaten this badly? He skidded across the ashy ground, sending dust into the air. Then he had an idea. He fumbled to get on two legs, puffing his chest again. But instead of letting loose blue flames, a layer of black smoke screen fell across the field. The pink aurora around the pokemon was hidden, but the pokemon couldn't see him either. So it evened the playing field out. <Come and get me now!> It hissed.

The Tyrogue had managed to get back on his feet after knocking the Charmeleon to the ground, but was really working up a sweat with such humid air around them. A light breathing escaped his lips as his light aura dimmed down in order to save energy. The fighting type was left covering his face thinking that another Dragon Rage was about to be sent at him, but only felt the smoke from the attack.
Blinking in confusion, Guapo gasped in the hot air from the shock of total darkness. Not even his light aura could be seen around the thick cloud of smoke. Dazed and confused, he was left to stare into the empty space with a dread deep down inside of him.
"Damn. I can't see anything." Karen sighed as she stroked the tiny Cleffa, no wonder it was crying. Seeing two Pokemon duke it out, one of them being very scary looking as well. Come to think of it, Janel and Chris had/have a Charmeleon. Maybe it would've been a good idea to catch one as well. To fit in, or maybe that would be trying too hard?
'I can't help it if I picked Juan...By the way, I wonder how he's doing right now? Is he bored in the PC? If anything, he's afraid of when I'll come and take him out.' She thought with a chuckle, earning a funny look from Bonito, but the shadow Pokemon remained silent. Perhaps to insult her even more, and she did feel a little dumb, but she could only shake her head.
"Guapo, wait it out. " She called out into the cloud, not really worried about her Pokemon. It was a bad situation, but he needed this type of toughening up. It was also a good heads up, they had to try and learn some long distance attacks sometime. Bonito would've been just fine with Rock Slide, but Guapo was only a close range fighter. He was too fragile to boldly rush in, not with a Dragon Rage like that. Especially when they didn't even realize where the fire type was in the first place.

<Are you giving up already?> The fire lizard laughed in a cruelsome way. The Charmeleon was indeed enjoyed watching little Guapo suffer from the Smokescreen Attack.
<Don't worry though, I'll finish you off right now!> He shouted in a proud voice, and without saying another word the Charmeleon sent out another massive blast of Dragon Rage at the light, fighting pokemon in hopes of finishing it off.
<Aww no, I just can't watch this!> The Cleffa wailed, digging her face into Karen's shirt. The poor Cleffa was tired of watching the harsh fight.

'I don't think he can handle another Dragon Rage...' Karen thought with the Cleffa holding her tight, noting how amazing it was for such a tiny Pokemon to have such a strong grip. Right now, nothing she did could calm down the tiny Pokemon, so the only thing she could do was coach Guapo until this thing was over with.
"Use the light to dodge! Agility!" She called out, feeling a little helpless being stuck on the sidelines while her Pokemon was forced to dodge such powerful attacks. The two were certainly even leveled, if the Charmeleon wasn't stronger.
If the light wasn't a big enough clue, then the intense heat from the distance was a sure warning for him. Giving himself a brisk nod, he forced his muscles to relax as he heightened his speed even more .Waiting moments before the attack could hit in order to make a steady dodge to the left. 'I think I know what's at the end.' The Tyrogue thought to himself with a pleased smile while dashing forward. Keeping track of the Dragon' Rage's flame as he prepared another Fake Out for when he collided with the Charmeleon. Hey, they had to hit sometime.

Tiny tears started to drip down the petite little Cleffa's cheek as she started to thinking about Guapo coming to a gruesome defeat. <Don't give up, I still believe in you!> She shouted loudly. After the loud outburst the Cleffa soon loosen her grip upon Karen and forced herself to watch the rest of the battle. Watching for the perfect time to cheer Guapo on again.
<Ha, don't wasting your time cheering for little guy like him Puffball!> The Charmeleon teased as he watched the speedy Guapo dodge his powerful attacks once again. <I'm going to stop this now!> The Charmeleon shouted, readying an attack for the light Pokémon.
Unfortunately, the Light Tyrogue managed to stop the attack with it's Fake Out Attack. leaving the fire lizard to only flinch. <Damn you!> He roared in angry as he knelt down to one knee. Could it be that the bully was finally getting a little weaken?

'Oh thank god, that Smokescreen is gone! Ahhh, smell that FRESH AIR.' She thought, letting out a laugh as Guapo was able to make a successful dodge. Now that she was able to see what was going on, she was able to help. Ain't that grand?
<Sorry to burst your bubble...But I think Guapo's getting tired.> The Shadow Tyrogue pointed out, drawing Karen's attention to the weary Light Tyrogue. Sure enough, he was panting pretty heavily. His stamina and fatigue was wearing him down, and she had to admit, that Charmeleon had one heck of a defense.
"Its because of using Agility so often..." Karen began, before letting out a sigh. It only means more training for herself and Guapo. Serious endurance training. And for fun, she'd let Bonito join in. Rivals helped other rivals grow stronger, a proven fact.
"Okay Guapo, knock'em dead with Tackle. And make it quick, this poor Cleffa can't take much more of this." She chuckled to herself, trying to keep the atmosphere light as the poor Cleffa watched her best friend and her hero fight it out. Guapo gave one look at the Cleffa, nodding right at her before making a mighty Tackle at the fire type. He wasn't sure when this hell-like battle would end, but it felt like he was using every single muscle in his body to simply damage the big brute.

The Charmeleon quickly realeased a cold hiss from his mouth once he noticed to Smokescreen disappear, but the hiss was replace with an evil laughter. What is wrong with this crazy lizard? <My plan seem to have been successful!> The Charmeleon cooed, while wagging his long tail backward and forward in a circluir motion.
Charmeleon closed his eyes once he felt Guapo's forceful body clash against him, causing the fire lizard to be pushed back a little. <You speed is strong point, but it is also your weakness,> He explained, as if he really knew a little something about the Light Tyrouge's status. Could it have had something to do with his plan, to let poor Guapo weaken himself?
<Now, just to turn up the heat a little bit,> Charmeleon Growled in hopes of reducing Guapo's attack power, however the Charmeleon was done yet, because he swiftly fired a weak Ember.
The Charmeleon was indeed getting weak, but it still wasn't about to give up!

'Plan?'
'What plan?!'
The two fighting types thought simultaneously at the Charmeleon's sudden comment. His sly grin was enough to set off several alarms in Guapo's mind, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. Was there an opening? His body was still pressing against the giant lizard as he dug his heels in the ground in order to jump a good foot back. Actually, a foot was no where near far enough if he wanted to dodge the next attack, as it would seem from the Charmeleon's evil smile.
<...> The Light Tyrogue remained silent as he listened to his opponents critique, so his fighting style had some flaws. He would grow out of them as he trained, Karen always said that there is always room for improvement. The problem is just figuring out what needs work. Its only through battling like this that they could specifically analyze what was needed. That was how you were supposed to learn, so you could get better. Not only as a fighter, but as a Pokemon/person. That is what he understood about the life of a fighter, so even if he lost, he would consider it a win for knowledge.
His attack was lowered by the Growl attack, and as he charged forward for the finishing blow, the Light Tyrogue let out a small smile. Letting himself simply stand still as he was embered to the ground, swirls in his eyes as he laid KO'd on the ground.
Karen gritted her teeth together as she tried to think of a reasonable thing to try out in a situation like this. Would he keep trying to attack them? Well, there really was no reason to continue fighting. It wouldn't be worth it, unless she wanted the levels. 'Meh...I can always buy Rare Candies. ' She reasoned, as she rested the wild Cleffa on the ground.
"Bonito, watch the Cleffa. I'll take care of Guapo." She muttered to herself, dusting herself off of any mud or small rocks that might've gotten on her. She didn't even bother looking at the Charmeleon, she simply didn't believe that he would try and deliberately attack her. That would be plain stupid, since she already had another Pokémon out here that could protect her. Kneeling down in front of Guapo, she rested the Light Tyrogue's head on her knees as she took out a Super Potion. Spraying it on him as he weakly muttered to himself, curling up to her for comfort. The potion would probably take a while for its effects to kick in, seeing that he had already fainted. But that was fine.
"You did great, you know that?" The trainer whispered, picking him up baby style, giving a look over to the fire lizard. He certainly earned her respect, even if he was a big, ugly brute that picked on little girls.

The Charmeleon looked slightly suprised at the Light Tyrogue fainting over a weak ember attack, it stood in silence for a moment, a first for the fire lizard. The pokemon repled the scene in his head, the Tyrogue had simply stood there bracing itself for the attack. It hadn't even tried to take down the Charmeleon, instead it had smiled a soft gentle smile before falling to the ground. He had KO'ed a Light Tyrogue.
The peaceful silence didn't last for long as the fire lizard burst out laughing, his plan had worked! His nonexistant plan had acually worked! Laughing hysterically, it ran away from the trainer and her pokemon before tripping over a rock, distracted by the delight he was feeling at the moment. His head smacked against the ground and he let out a groan. <That was your fault!> he spat embers at the Shadow Tyrogue, even though he was clearly standing away from him. He released an Ember attack at the pokemon, flames flaying towards the pokemon.
The Cleffa eluded the Shadow pokemon and oncoming flames and ran over to Guapo, the small Cleffa hugged the light Tyrogue. She was torn, the meanie Charmealon was one of her friends. But this gallant pokemon had protected her from him and fainted in the process. She didn't know what to do, so she simply clung to the Light pokemon as if he was a lifeline.

Bonito snarled at the Charmeleon, taking a brave step forward as he laughed at the group. Dangit! After all of his sparring matches with Guapo, to see the fire type beat him just made him even more mad with anger.
Seeing the fire type trip over his own two feet did nothing to falter the fighting type's powerful spirit. He wanted to see that Charmeleon out of here as soon as possible. Out of this damn Volcano, that or they'd help bring the Cleffa out of here so she could meet proper friends.
<Why would you laugh at him? Can't you see that he's unconscious?!> Bonito roared, allowing himself to get hit by the spray of Embers, much as Guapo had done right before him. He hadn't tried to dodge, he wanted a taste of what this guy had to offer. Since his defense was much higher than Guapo's, he handled it much better. Then again, he hadn't suffered through the beginning of the battle. He was only here to finish it.
Karen was a little distracted by the Cleffa's devotion to Guapo, but had noticed that Bonito decided to challenge the fire type. Might as well, sine his laughter was really ticking her off. The shadow Tyrogue seemed to have been waiting for a command, so she decided to stay with something simple.
"Start off with Rock Slide. I'm sure that'll hurt him." She replied with an icy stare at the Charmeleon. Before turning her attention back to the Light Tyrouge, his aura growing brighter as the effects of the potion began to kick in. Though his breathing had slowed down, and he remained unconscious, he was slowly healing. 'It might not be a good idea to keep him in his Pokeball. That might make it worse...But its pretty dangerous out here. We are in a Volcano after all.' The confused trainer thought with a sigh, she really wasn't cut out for this leader stuff. There were simply too many choices, and she had a supreme lack of medical knowledge. It was hard to know what was wrong and right when the heat was getting to her.
The Shadow Tyrogue was swift in acting with the new command, the first thing he had to do was get as close as he could, while staying away form those claws. Once he felt that 3 feet was enough of a distance, he slammed his fist into the ground. Rocks of many sizes shot up from the ground, launching themselves at the fire type as he kicked them . Switching feet from time to time as his attack continued.

The Charmeleon glared at the weird looking Tyrogue, he really didn't feel like battling once again. The Light Pokémon was a challenge enough, but this one looked like he meant business. A tough one, he endured the Ember attack without much of a problem. This was going to be a battle he would have to finish and fast.
<Why would you laugh at him? Can't you see that he's unconscious?!>
The Chameleon laughed once again, reminded of the hilarity of the situation. <Yeah! He was felled by one of my weakest attacks!> he giggled, before snorting slightly. <I doubt you're going to do much better either.>
"Start off with Rock Slide. I'm sure that'll hurt him."
The Charmeleon grinned a toothy smile at the trainer, shivering slightly at the intensity of her glare. If looks could kill, oooh, he'd be dead by now. This girl was feisty, he liked feisty, it made for interesting battles. Refocusing back onto the battle he frowned slightly, Rock Slide? Oh. He hated that attack, he spread his legs apart slightly and bent them ready to leap if need be.
As the Shadow Pokémon drew closer, the Charmeleon stood his ground waiting for the Tyrogue to make the move. <Ladies first.> he taunted, a silly grin on his face. Within moments he had slammed his fist into the ground, causing an army of rocks to dive towards him. The fire lizard was able to dodge the fist couple, but after while towards the end of the attack he got overwhelmed and was caught in the rock slide. It was silent as the lizard was pinned underneath the rock.
The Charmeleon was angry that it had gotten hurt to a puny attack like this. It let out a fierce roar, and with a Dragon Rage, very suitably named for the occasion. He blasted the rock cave open and sent move waves towards the Shadow pokemon, they were intensified by his anger. His Blaze ability had kicked in now that its health was low.
