The Torchic's eyes widened in fear as he watched his brother being healed by the trainer. They're gonna make them fight again! He started to sob at the thought.
Cleffa shot a glance at the sobbing Torchic and immediately felt even more sympathy for it. She nodded in answer to Bontio and hopped over to Torchic. She patted his back, <It's okay,> she whispered.
The Meditite could feel his wounds being healed and his health returning. He opened his eyes to see Karen and he backed up against the wall in fright. <Do what you will, just don't hurt Torchic,> he said, closing his eyes and wincing. Waiting for the pain to come.
Combusken looked at Karen and stood, he nodded, leaping over to Meditite. He picked up the monkey-like pokemon in his arm and took him to see Torchic. The fire-type bent over his brother, <You okay, bro?>

Guapo and Karen exchanged glances at the nervous Meditite, before deciding to simply back off. There was nothing worse than a Wild Pokémon that was going to be desperate at any moment. So the least they could do was give him some space, turning to Bonito she thought about keeping him out for a while. It just might be better if she trained with them a little longer, earn a couple of battles, or simply get some time for themselves.
“Do you guys feel okay? We don’t have to fight any other Pokémon, let’s just train without them.” Karen suggested, urging the two to follow her, knowing that the Cleffa would be just fine as long as she was with this kinder group of Pokémon.
<Are you kidding? That was only a warm-up.> Bonito replied, crossing his arms as he reluctantly walked behind Guapo and Karen. It was like he knew them, but didn’t want to know them at this point.
“You know Guapo, you’re almost as tall as me now. I hope I’m not some kind of tall freak or something.” The young girl chuckled to herself, knowing that this was about as tall as a Hitmontop could get, but decided to joke about it anyway.
<Am I really that short? I feel a lot bigger though.> The Light Hitmontop looked puzzled, holding out his hands in front of him as the group walked down a different path. They were actually gradually going deeper and deeper inside of the Volcano, simply for the thrill of exploring.
<That’s because you got a big head.> Bonito mumbled, just loud enough for Guapo to hear him and sent a ‘look’ at the other fighting type before walking ahead. They didn’t know how long it would be before they would reach a good resting spot, but they would have to soon with their aching feet and sore legs.

There was a loud crash as three Pokémon fought there way throught the volcano. <Let go!> one growled. <Make me!> another one yelled. <Will you both just shut up? I think I see something!> screamed another. Out came three large pokemon, who were stopped in their raging tracks by the group. They looked to each other then looked at the trainer and her Pokémon. <Ooh, a battle?> cooed a Lairon. A Camerupt, the more responisble one, stepped forward, knowing that his buddies wanted a battle, he dipped his head in respect toward the trainer. <My friends and I would like to challenge you to a battle, we are aware that if we lose you are capable of catching us, so if we do. We are fine with joining you,> he rumbled.
Have Appeared!

Karen and the group were caught off guard by the screaming, Guapo running right in front of her with his arms spread just in case any harm would come to her. She frowned at this, trying to get him to budge but he refused to move.
"Whatever it is, I can take care of it." She whined, trying to take a step to the left, but he was right in front of her. Moving in any direction to match hers, this went on for a while until the three Pokemon came up right in front of them.
<A three on three battle? Sounds interesting, count me in.> The Shadow Hitmonlee grinned, flexing his right arm for show. It was already decided between the two fighting types that they were going to take on these guys, being the stubborn guys they were. Karen wasn't all that surprised that Guapo was willing to be in another battle, since when Bonito was out, he always liked to show off. The two were born rivals, and she liked it.
<Then I'm in too.> Guapo smiled at the three Pokémon, once again hoping that they wouldn't be on bad terms as soon as the whole thing was done and over with. The only thing was that they didn't know who their other partner was going to be, but they were fine with most of the other Pokémon around.
“These guys look pretty big, but I think that Chief can handle them. “ Karen thought, holding out the Pokeball in front of her. She didn’t even realize that she was thinking out loud, but went quiet as she recalled their encounter with the wild Donphan. That thing was at least ten levels higher than her, and she still managed to win. But even so, she had her doubts about it. All three of these guys looked pretty tough, like they trained a lot.
“Okay, I know now. Chief, you’re up!” She cried, throwing the Pokeball in between Guapo and Bonito to show off a Shiny Trapinch. Sparkles fluttering into the air at her appearance as she snapped her jaws into a cheesy grin; it didn’t take long for her to figure out what was going on. The only other thing she felt like she needed to do was kick that Pokeball back over to Karen so she wouldn’t trip on it later on. With all three Pokémon on the field, it seemed appropriate for the opposing team to go first.

The Lairon laughed as the Trapinch came out of the poke ball, <A measly little Trapinch?> he roared with laughter. Camerupt shot him an angry glance and he shut up quickly. The Primeape had been silent the whole time until now, <Alright, I'll start off then.>
He took a step forward, planting his right foot in front of the other. Then he chose his target and darted forward using Karate Chop on Bonito.

Chief felt like crying at the Lairon’s comment, watching the three Pokémon with a dazed look, as if she never challenged a Pokémon of their size in the past. Even with his silence, she felt the cruel thoughts come into her, shuddering as she suddenly became self conscious of herself and her battle skills. She wouldn’t back down though, that she refused to do, and glanced up at the Lairon, his eyes still holding that spark of amusement.
She didn’t quite know what to do, but wanted to prove these guys wrong with the first chance she got. Growling and grumbling to herself in inaudible words, a tornado of sand began to surround her body, gathered from the volcano’s walls and floor until it looked big enough to stop a Pokémon in its tracks, or in this case, a fist. She shot it after the Primape to stop his attack, using it mainly against his fist to give Bonito enough time to make his first strike. Inwardly he was thankful for the given opportunity, or else he might not have been able to attack so easily and quickly.
“Double Kick!” Karen cried, watching the other two opponents with a slightly confused glance. Something had happened between them, and she didn’t quite catch on, but who cared? It wouldn’t matter now, the battle was just beginning.
“Guapo, start off with Agility.” Karen smiled, knowing that she had to get him moving as well. Taking a step back to block her eyes from any remaining sand or dust that might get kicked up in the process, the Hitmontop was off. Zooming around the Camerupt and Lairon with his agility, going in a circle to boost up his speed and to trap them inside as well was the plan.

Primape was anything but ready for the sand tomb attack, for who wouldn't be caught of guard by a giant vortex of swirling sand appearing out of nowhere and trapping you? The grains of sand bit into his arms like tiny gnats, making him yowl in pain, the Karate chop attack forgotten about know. It was even worse when a foot smashed through the swirling sand, smashing into his face and making blood spurt violently from his nose, shortly followed by another viscious kick to his ribs, sending him flying from across the rocky ground, to land with a sickening crack on the floor. Fortunately, no extreme damage had been caused to his bones, but the combination had taken a pretty chunk out of his health. Oh well, at least he was out of the vortex now.
Clambering to his feet, the Primape snarled and assumed a battle stance, legs spread wide and feet positioned to keep his balance, and ams stretched out also, muscles tensed. He then began to roar, a slow growl escalating into a full blown cry of anger, as red light emanated from his body, his energy now focused and the critical hit ratio raised, to be precise. The large Monkey Pokémon then leapt forward, feinting at the Hitmonlee with a right hook, and pulling his punch at the last second as he brought down his other fist in another Karate chop attack, an attack with a high critical hit ratio. A powerfull combo, but it was risky, and luck was a big part of the equation.
Meanwhile, Lairon and Camerupt were holding their ground, neither wanting to strike the first blow towards the fast Pokémon. They turned so that they were back to back, both ready for confrontation. Cleverly, the Lairon used Iron defense, to harden his body and raise his defense, whilst Camerupt, who was slightly higher level than his two other buddies, used Amnesia to Sharply raise his special defense. This was a good tactic, but one had to attack sooner or later, so the large fire type did just that. Slamming his hooves into the ground, he made the ground shake, making a multitude of small rocks and boulders rain down from the volcanoes side. Magnitude Seven! A fairly powerfull Magnitude attack. The rain of rocks poured down from all sides, unfortunately also hitting Lairon and Primape. Lairon braced himself against them, and most missed him, luckily. The ones that did hit didn't do too much damage either. Fortunately, the force of the magnitude had made the majority of rocks fall around the Camerupt, so Primape was fairly safe. But he wasn't completely protected, as two or three heavy rocks smashed into his head consecutively. He continued with his attack, however, with angry persistance.

Bonito frowned at the Focus Energy, sensing that something was amiss as he shot out blind kicks into the air in order to protect himself from a frontal assault. With the false right hook, he instinctively shot out a leg with his extendable reach in order to shove it away from his body when the other move was made, leaving him vulnerable to a Karate Chop to his extending leg. His shadow aura was flickering even more violently as the damage was dealt, yet he refused to show it.
“Get some distance with your Revenge.” Karen was shooting out suggestions, not seeing how a tackle was possible when his leg was as injured as it was. Best not to put so much weight and pressure on it while battling, or else it might create some long-term effects. Gritting his teeth and baring the shot of the attack, his eyes changed to a demonic red as all hell broke loose from within his body. As if he was a child, he went into a wild temper tantrum, throwing his fists and kicks wildly in order to inflict cold hard damage onto the Primape, make him feel for his crime of letting out the wrong attack. The rumbling of the nearby Magnitude only hurting him even more, affecting any of his blows and the Primeapes as they went unsteady, shaking and trembling as he continued his attack with more power.
((Don’t forget that Magnitude hurts all that’s battling))
Chief and Guapo seemed to be doing alright, except that the Hitmontop stopped in his track after the dangerous rumbling made him worried about tripping and falling. He could no longer trust his balance when the ground as acting as it was, in a Volcano nonetheless. Thinking to himself with the power of speed instead of the power that most fighting Pokémon had, he shot at the Camerupt with a Fake Out, a grin on his face before returning to the same spot as before, an easy feat for a Light Pokémon such as himself.
“Guapo, use Helping Hand on Chief.” Karen ordered as a small idea came into her head. It wasn’t anything big and crazy, but it could be a powerful combination as far a she was concerned. The Hitmontop gave a brief nod, turning to face the Shiny Trapinch with a bow. His light aura reaching over to, touching her and covering her up with power and energy, she could feel it flowing through her veins in a temporary attack and special attack boost. With a snicker, she knew that these guys were in for something painful. “Use your Faint Attack, show’em what you can do.”
<HELL YES!> The Trapinch shouted with excitement trembling all over her body, she was running as fast as she could with her four tiny legs at the giant of the group. This meant that Lairon could do as he pleased; only sparing him a glance to only vanish into thin air. Where was she now? This hit and run attack was making her come down from the air, aiming right at the top of the Camerupt’s head with the same smirk on her face.

Primape howled with glee as his inenious attack was successfully landed, and he punched the air. It was only a young Primape, but he was fiesty and his hormones were raging, especially now with the thrill of the fight. But his happiness was shortlived, for within seconds he was being hammered multiple times by his enemies fists. But there was something different about the Hitmonlee this time. It's shadowy aura had conformed to a hellish red blaze, the vicious fury of its attack fueling its entire body. Like him, the captured Pokémon was feeling the sheer adrenaline of the battle, and was channelling it destructively. Primape was so unready for the attack that he had let his muscles relax, and let his entire guard down. That meant extra pain, and extra damage. A critical hit. When the tornado of blows finally came to an end, Primape was hurled backward. But whilst in the air, he thrust his whole body round, so he was facing the floor. He threw out his hands, and again pushed himself off of the floor, doing another impressive backflip and landing on his feet, fists clenched and arms raised. An impressive feat, one capable of only the toned bodies of fighting types. The Primape was sure his enemy could have acheived much higher acrobatic feats with his unusually powerfull legs, but the fighting type wasn't thinking about that. One thought was going through his mind. Cause Pain. Suddenly, the anger in his mind erupted from his mouth and limbs, he was screaming, shouting, hollering blood curdling cries of sheer anger as he thrashed about, charging dementedly towards his victim. His anger point ability had kicked in, raising his attack power to the highest level after the critical hit. And he wasn't going down without satisfying his bloodthirsty needs. When he got near enough to Bonito, he launched himself at him, both arms raised for a powerfull Karate chop. Nobody caused him that much damage and lived. Nobody.
Meanwhile, Lairon and Camerupt were pretty engaged themselves. The fire type was shocked as the hitmonotop lunged at him with the fake out attack, pain flashing through his boddy without warning, and making him flinch. This was not good. In the split second that his eyes were shut and screwed up, he could be demolished. This could spell the end. One attack changed everything. The steel type watched with grim helplessness, as the Hitmontop suddenly poured out his light energy into the smaller ground type, whom he had completely forgotten about. He wondered if it actually had an ounce of power. That was about to be revealed, but to none of the fighters. For Lairon had taken action and charged at the preoccupied Hitmontop, head down in a headbutt attack.
Camerupt was still flinching when there was an almighty roar of intense black nothingness, and an almighty crash as the top of his head felt as though it would explode with pain. He knew he would be attacked, but not with such intensity. Then it was all over as soon as it had begun, but he was out of breath and in pain. He had no time for an attack this round, but soon he would unleash his fury unto his enemies...

OOC: Wow. O-O That there’s a long post. I should give you a medal for all of that work.
BIC:
’I never knew that Revenge was so strong.’ Karen thought, watching as Bonito took in a breath of the hot volcanoes steam. Moving his arms and legs around in a mind calming fighting stance that Karen had once shown him, his eyes remained closed until he heard the beats of movement from his opponent catching his footing. His eyes snapped open at the new found bloodlust inside of the Primape, and the power that radiated from inside of him. It was something he had never experienced before, even when Karen already owned a Mankey, the pre-evolution of Primape. He didn’t know what to expect from this fighting type, for who was to judge when a critical hit was made?
“Use Bulk Up! Now! We need that defense!” Karen screeched, all knowing of when a Primape was pissed enough to create murder. She watched enough TV shows and read enough in the newspapers about the said Fighting type to know just how violent they could get. Bonito barely had enough time to bulk up the body, boosting both attack and defense when the Karate Chop sent him spiraling into the ground. He winced through the pain, but held out his arms to try and bring himself to a flip, his legs dangling into the air until he was back on his feet. Not quite understanding about what was going on, except the mad fury from the Primape. There was no time to think! He had to work on something NOW!
“Rock Slide.” Karen called with the strongest motherly instinct inside of her burning with hate to see her own team get attacked that way. At least, without her expecting it, being all random and everything, she felt more than annoyed that one of her particular battle favorites had gotten attacked like that. Bonito grunted in response, slamming a foot into the ground to force up a flurry of hardened earth out at his opponent, some of the rocks heavier than others were launched at the Primape, and perhaps at the Camerupt and Lairon if they were close enough for the move to hit. Since this was the type of move where it hits all of the opponents, and usually not some of their own team. Accidents happened though.
Guapo was shot back and trampled on by the headbutt, a pained grunt of surprise mixed with a gasp at the raging head butt. If it was from some Snubbull, it wouldn’t have hurt as much. But this came from a Pokemon practically made of steel, one of the most painful things to be attacked by around. His arms clung to nothing but thin air, the main instinct was to get on his head as soon as possible to escape whatever threat had attacked him, but there was so much going on at this point, that he knew it could be either of the three Pokemon that attacked him.
<Get off a him…> Chief snarled in her fury, clearly annoyed that she wasn’t the target of any attack as of yet. A vortex of sand began to swirl around her, preparing to use it on the attacking Lairon when Karen interfered.
“Chief, cool it. Use a Bite on that Camerupt’s leg and hold onto it.” Karen wasn’t one for explaining things, but she was pretty certain that if something as small as her portable Trapinch latched onto something like that, it would be hard to make any damaging moves on her. For how could it use fire based moves if it couldn’t shoot it from its mouth? Or maybe they did, she was a little confused at the moment, thinking that all of the firepower came out from its humps.
“Guapo, use a combined attack! Agility and Rolling Kick on Lairon!” Karen cried, more than eager to see how his mighty speed would affect the power of the attack. In her head, this attack looked great, because he would be in and out of the immediate danger zone before the steel tank could make his attack. Guapo more than agreed to this method, getting on his agility as soon as he could, but somehow some of the Rock Slide had got in the way, creating obstacles for him to prevent him from going in the straight path he desired. He was still fast and furious, though not as much as either would’ve liked, he shot out the rolling kick of doom at the steel titan.

The Primeape hit on the attack and gave it's opponent a devilish grin. It waited in a defensive position until Bonito stood up, then it unleashed it's attack in a flying furry. Furry Swipe. It lashed out in blinding blows toward the fighting type. This pokemon wasn't going to beat him. No way, no way!
The Camerupt screeched as the Trapinch latched on it's leg. But Karen was wrong when she thought that fire only came from it's humps. Bending it's large head it looked under it's belly at the small pokemon. Opening it's mouth wide it shot out an Ember attack. What it didn't take into account was that it was also hitting itself. HOT HOT HOT!
The Lairon spotted Guapo coming closer and thought on it's feet, using Iron Defense. Raising it's defense slightly in hopes to damped the attack some. If time allowed it would use Metal Claw to fight back against the light pokemon.

OOC: Well, there’s no escaping from the ANGER POINT OF EPIC WIN. BIC: Karen and Bontio gasped as the Primeape dashed right through the onslaught of rocks, and he knew at once that he was going to have to work on some serious dodges. All of that anger certainly made the Pokémon faster than usual, but he was getting sloppy with his movements. Bontio whined in protest, not wanting to go through this as he made dodge after dodge. Moving away from one of the serious looking claws to only duck away from another one until he could actually find some kind of opening through the attacks; and what he did find, was a pattern. Karen had noticed it as well, sensing that Bontio was buying her some time before she could accurately predict his movements and get a feel for what was going on. It was this kind of knowledge that you could only get through training at a fighting dojo on your own, well, that and endless hours of Wrestling marathons…hehehe, her secret love. “ Double Kick, pin him down.” She hoped that he would understand the orders the way she did, and making use of those long legs of his was going to take some getting used to. Bontio didn’t waste the effort of some kind of affirmative, and instead followed through without thought. He would trust her. During one of his dodges, he stretched his leg all of the way up into the air, springing it out like a slinky so he could whirl around the Primeape with another foot eager to kick him in the behind with multiple strikes. Karen was having difficulty managing herself between battles, but took the time to glance over with Chief to see what was going on. She was getting tired and sweating with perspiration from having to focus on so many things at once. So the Camerupt could shoot flames from his mouth. Her bad. Chief seemed to be taking it pretty badly even with the type advantage, and it would only take so long before that damage became serious. “Stop it with Sand Tomb!” She cried out, using a reference from the past to help her on this decision. Perhaps the sand could somehow smother the fire, making a useful and practical shield against the flames as Chief gained some ground of her own. But the Trapinch wasn’t planning on leaving the mountain, though she had no choice but to let go of his leg in order to ready herself for the strike. She closed her eyes to try and save them from the embers until the sand shield blocked them, and at her own will built it up so that it would actually attack the Camerupt continuously for several turns. Guapo had an easier time with his agile light body; dodges were so easy for him. It was like playing around with a child, knowing that you would win, but the urge to give them a chance to win was building in him. But then Karen would be mad at him…Ugh, choices. He dodged it to save his own skin, and went straight at the Lairon with another Rolling Kick, hoping to knock him out from under his thick skull.

The Camrupt let out a small whimper at the now seared underbelly he sported. That was perhaps not the smartest move, but at least Cheif had gotten slightly injured in the process although he felt as if he was affected more so by the attack than the pokemon due to the extremty of the attack and the vunerabilty of his underbelly.
Pissed, the Camprupt watched as her attack covered the pokemon for a moment, but then the sand collided, making the fire weaken as the sand turned into brittle glass, shattering against the floor with a painful explosion of glass. The ember attack couldn't hold back the emmense amount og sand though and the Cumerupt watched in a silent horror as the sand wall was built up around him.
Snapping out of his transfixed gaze he unleashed a mighty roar as the the ground below him seemed to echo the cry, rumbling enorumously as he used Magnitude. Protected from the few falling rocks thanks to the tomb crushing him, everyone else was impacted due to the repeated Magnitude Six attack. Not as strong as the previous one, but it would cause quite a bit of pain.
The Primape was growing ferious at the way not one of his speedy quicky attack were connecting. This opponent was good, but not as good as him! Seeing the leg coming, he quickly Slashed at it before getting pummeled from behind from a cascade of rocks dislodged from the Camerupt's attack. He was sent flying into Bontio, pinned down by a small rockslide. He couldn't tell if the Hitmontop was pinned underneath him or not, but al he knew was that this was painful.
The Lairon grunted, not affected by the Magitude attack too badly, but he was left a bit shaky and unbalanced, so when the flying kick came at him he was smacked stright onto the cranium, recoiling with the impact.
His eyes started to water slightly at the throbbing pain, and he quickly used Take-down while the Hitmonlee was still in close range. Not affected by the recoil he charged recklessly, his eyes glowing with a determined spark. He was getting tired, but he would not go down that easily.

OOC: Thankies. I needed a reply badly. Eh. And I think you switched the Hitmonlee and Hitmontop. O-o’ Unless it’s a typo…? Eh, whatev. I can see how anyone would get confused. BIC: Chief was getting uneasy about the rumbling ground, though she was pretty darn relieved that she was on top of the earth instead of underneath it, she bore with the attack as it was unleashed. Her focus was now unnecessary as the Sand Tomb continued its magic around the Camerupt, even as he attacked the sting of the vortex would continue to haunt him. It might even slow him down, not that he needed that speed in the first place. The ground type move gained stab, even though it was considerably weaker than the last, so it did do enough damage to cause concern. <You think you’re so tough, Don’tcha? Well, I got the skills too!> Chief haughtily cried out, and Karen took her cue to order the next attack. “Use Giga Drain, and take it easy.” Karen was still a bit shaken from the last Magnitude, gaping and running around from side to side to avoid the incoming rocks from up above. There was, in fact, a gaping hole in the ceiling, possibly leading to higher ground. That could be useful later on, except she didn’t have any Pokemon with her that could actually carry her up there. Poor Crash was still pretty fragile, and it would be tough to lift her up into the air, not to say they haven’t been working on muscle training. The Slash attack ended up being a critical hit, and heavily damaged his right leg, there was no way he could escape the cry of pain as he held his leg up to his chest. There was blood leaking from the wound, but there was no time to worry about it. Bonito’s balance was off, and he ended up being knocked to the side from the Primeape’s heavy weight, successfully rendering him helpless for the time being. It seemed almost cruel to attack him now, even if he wasn’t technically knocked out. Karen of course, would have done something, but there was too much chaos going on for her to see how injured Bonito really was. ((XD and holy… this Lairon is a tank. It took a x4 super effective attack, and ax3 super effective attack? Its gotta be a high level.)) Karen thought that Bonito was fine, so she focused on Guapo. Seeing that he was charging at them again with a rather slow paced Take Down, it seemed like the perfect time to make their attack. “Finish it with Rolling Kick!” She was really wishing that they had a bigger move list, but they were lucky enough to more than tackle already.

All three of the pokemon took their last attack with a spoonful of salt, it hurt so much and they all just wanted to continue to battle. They all let out a final roar simeltaniously(sp?) as they all fainted at the same time. They laid on the floor, all breathing heavy as they really wanted to battle again, but their health was measly at a sliver and there was no way for them to stand back up and continue on with this fight.
All Participating Pokemon reach 1 level. Would you like to catch any of them? That lairon would be a tank.

OOC: Hell no. You always screw me Jay. BIC: Karen glanced around at her team, more than satisfied with their efforts in battle. It was only a shame that there was no one there to comfort the losing team, and since they were wild Pokemon, it had to be hard living out here while having that much damage. It didn’t take her long to assess the situation and figure out what her next move should be. “Chief, Guapo, could you help out Bonito and Primeape.” She questioned, and was going to add more but they were simply too eager to listen to her any longer. The two went to work on shoving the boulders aside, looking surprised at the battered and cut up Bonito. He was in good fainting condition, but he refused to close his eyes. Bontio was forced to lean on Guapo while Chief struggled to get the poor Primeape back on his feet with the power of sand, acting as an extra limb that she could use at will. “Hey, you three. I’m going to set up camp around here. You can stick around if you want. I have enough food.” The Lairon and Camerupt had to be regaining their senses sometime around now; after all, it wasn’t as if they fought to the death or anything. But three on three matches could build up an appetite, even if she didn’t do anything physical. Then a random thought crossed her mind. What did the wild Pokemon eat around here anyways? There wasn’t a water source; all she saw was faint traces of lava, which should evaporate anything close to water. “Where do you guys live anyway? I can’t figure out where a good place to eat would be. And water...” She moaned suddenly, trapped by her own poor planning and inexperience in exotic places such as these. She leaned against the wall and sat down; feeling quite parched and exhausted herself. Only Chief seemed the happiest of any of her crew. <Don’t tell me we have to leave? I’m having fun out here. You can’t make me go.> The shiny Trapinch snorted, still struggling on helping the Primeape onto his feet.

The Pokémon actually did not want to stick around, they left without a trace. You should have caught them when you had the chance.
It's okay though, you see a Macargo sluggishly slugging his way through the sluggish Volcano and heading straight toward you; He let out a breath causing his mouth to bubble from the lava encasing his body together.

Karen frowned when the three Pokemon left without her knowing, it was rather rude that they left while she was planning on actually helping them out. They couldn’t have gotten too far, and wherever they went, there had to be a safe haven inside of this crazy Volcano. She doubted that she was in the mood to go any lower than where she was right now, because then it would only get hotter and hotter.
<Eh. You just noticed them leaving?> Chief started snickering to herself, while Guapo and Bonito limped closer to the group for comfort. The Light Hitmontop was careful to set his friend down gently so as not to disturb any of his bigger wounds, the most serious coming from that slash attack.
<He needs bandages.> Guapo announced, rummaging through Karen’s backpack throughout her protests, until he finally grabbed it away from her to pull it out. She felt stupid after that, but pulled herself together to help fix up her two fighting Pokemon. Now all they needed was a long break, and hopefully they would feel a little better before they continued onward.
<Hey. Is that a Magcargo I see? > Chief blurted out, squirming in her spot when she squinted to get a closer look. Sure enough, the goopy body belonged to the lava Pokemon, forcing her to shudder in distaste. Out of all of the species of Pokemon, she thought that these things were the most hideous. But she was the only one in the group that actually thought this.
<He looks pretty friendly. Just leave him be- Karen!> Guapo wanted to pound his stupid trainer to the ground when he saw her run straight up to the wild Pokemon. She meant no harm, but her blunt manner has often scared a wild Pokemon or two.
“Sorry to bother you, but we were wondering if there were any hotsprings around here? Water? A place to stay would be nice.” She held out her hands in an attempt to show that she meant no harm. Like anyone would believe that.

The wild Magcargo stopped as it saw movement in the corner of it's eye. <HUMAN!> It screeched before trying to make a run for it. It moved at it's fastest but evidently it wasn't very fast. It was kind of like a slug you know. It only speed up faster when Karen held out her hands. <LEAVE ME HUMAN! I WISH NOT TO BE TAKEN!> It refered to the pokeball but as she spoke it would shot replies, hoping that would make the trainer leave it alone. <HOT SPRING DOWN MOUNTAIN! DOWN DOWN DOWN!> It gave a glance back quickly to see if it was being followed. <MANY CAVES DERE TOO> Will you follow? Take it's advice? Battle? Stay? Or do whatever the hell you want?

Do whatever the hell I want“Gah! What the hell?” Karen nearly jumped out of her spot when the Magcargo snapped back at her, her eyes were still twitching by the time she regained a somewhat normal posture. Why were Pokémon always so scared of her? She bothered to ask that question out loud, and the only answer she got from Guapo was him falling comically to the ground. “Is it that obvious?” She muttered as soon as he stood up. She had no idea what was with her, but if her own Pokémon could sense it, then something was up. There wasn’t much else to do except watch the fire slug struggle to work his way away from her, almost in a fearful panic. That would have been easier to believe if there was actual movement between him and the ground. <Ugh…so ugly…> Chief shuddered when she believed the Magcargo was out of hearing range, giving a look at Bonito. He certainly did look like he took a beating, but the rest was helping him. It was doubtful that keeping him inside the Pokeball would be a good idea, it was just better to be outdoors with the fresh air. <There are hot springs in the Volcano then? Then let’s go. It’ll be easier going down than going up. > Bonito grunted from his spot, struggling to get upright in a sitting position. <Ah. Fine, I’ll lead the way. If that’s the case, in the ball.> Chief giggled, running to the path that was the closest to the group while doing a little dance. She raised both of her front arms into the air, signaling their trainer to look her way and follow. It was a good thing Karen had an easy time understanding her older Pokemon, and instantly returned Bonito and Guapo for their own protection. With her giant backpack back on her back, she was off with Chief, heading down an uneven path down to where they would hopefully find a good camping spot.
