"Bonito, dodge!"
<...>
"Jump! Move to the side! I don't care...Anytime now!" His anxious trainer called, feeling impatient with this battle.
Bonito watched with wary eyes as he felt himself unable to move. Whatever had entered his body from his contact with the Clefairy was making him lose his will to fight. It felt like he had no will at all as he didn't even brace himself for the pound attack. The force of the attack knocking him back first on the ground. Slowly, he got up.
Karen just stood there, stunned that he hadn't even reacted to her voice. Quickly, she took out her Pokedex once more to see if this was some kind of effect of Clefairy. Sure enough, it said 'Cute Charm'. Groaning, Karen looked over to Bonito and called out the next order. Even if he didn't listen, at least she tried.
"Bonito, snap outta it! Lets go, go, GO!" Karen was waving her arms frantically now, jumping up and down with each and every 'Go' shouted.
Bonito snorted in annoyance, and though he didn't want to he still complied. It was a random tackle, as he was limited to two attacks. Weariness was shown in his eyes though if one examined him. Various cuts around his lower torso would reveal cuts that stung to make him wince seconds before nearing the target.

<Clefairy!> The small pink Pokémon cried, getting knocked down to the ground rather harshly from the impact of the Tackle Attack. <I can do this!> The Clefairy shouted, pushing herself as she recover back onto her feet. <This is for everyone who's ever doubted me!> The Clefairy shouted, using the last of her little energy left to use one last Double Slap.

For some reason, the strange feelings within him had slowly faded away. His shadow aura growing slightly darker as he gave Karen a confident look, letting her know he could finish the battle. It was a look she recognized instantly, as she nodded back to him to give the affirmative.
"Don't even let that double slap hit you, Rock Slide!" Karen cried, as Bonito followed through with the new command. His senses renewed, he ran head on to the Clefairy. Looking like it would be a tackle, but he abrubtly stopped and kicked at the ground. Rocks shot up and right at the Clefairy. So that way, the Clefairy couldn't hit him becuase of the rock attack heading for her.

The boulders clashed against the petite-bodied Clefairy, which utterly made her mission to win this battle unsuccessful. She wailed loudly as she soon after plummeted back against the rocky ground; only causing more harm to her.
<"I, I will prove you wrong one day.">
Who the normal-type was speaking to was unclear, maybe she was seeing things from a case of exhaustion, but she soon after fainted; the only thing moving was her small chest, which moved with every fragile breath she took.
The Clefairy has fainted! Bonito gains one level! Catch the fainted Clefairy?

Bonito gave the Clefairy a soft-spoken look as the pink pokemon slowly fainted. It seemed to take longer for her to faint to him, rather than Karen. She ran up to him and quickly held out her hand.
"Not bad, Bonito! Took awhile, but we got the job done. High five, bud!" She grinned, but something seemed amiss as he simply ignored her. Walking up to the area of rocks, he began moving some of the rocks off of the Clefairy. Out of respect, mostly.
<Not bad, kid. >
He muttered as he moved her body behind a sturdy rock for some type of protection, as Karen could only watch on. Never had she seen Bonito act so kindly to another pokemon, maybe this Clefairy was special. Besides, she could evolve it quickly with the moon stone she owned. Taking out an empty pokeball, she took in a deep brwath of the fresh mountain air before throwing it at the clefairy.
Bonito only watched on to see if the Clefairy was willing to join him on their journey to grow stronger. His face shown a slightly surprised look that Karen had even thrown the pokeball. She was always complaining of catching too many pokemon, not that he minded much, but she seemed decided on something.

The Pokeball bounced off the Clefairy's limp body, and fell to the ground, splitting open and inhaling the pink Pokemon inside. With a click, the sphere closed, and began to wiggle in a subdued manner; in a moment, if fell still and lay quite dormant on the ground before Karen. ::clefairy:: Clefairy was captured! Level: 14 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Encore, Sing, Doubleslap, Defense Curl Nature: This Clefairy, while on the outside may seem as shy and reserved as the rest of them, possesses a hidden ambition and strength; her most treasured dream is to evolve into a Clefable.

Karen and Bonito watched as the pokeball magically transported in thin air to only to reappear back into the safty of her PC. With a silent nod, Bonito stood up, his backstraightened as he made his way back to Karen's side.
"You deserve a break. I can't let you train after that battle." Giving Bonito a kind smile, he only looked up at her with weary eyes. His face absolutly refusing to show any emotion at all, however this didn't faze Karen. Taking out his pokeball, she returned him to his pokeball in a flash of light.
"Crash, you ready? I think the sun isn't as bright as before. You'll be alright."
The Zubat was actually half-asleep in her backback, cuddleing next to a life-like pokedoll that looked like the Clefairy she caught seconds ago. One could call him 'cute', even when he was wiping some of the drool hanging out of his mouth while poking his head out of the backpack.
<Over so soon? Well, I guess its my turn!> With a toothy grin, the zubat slipped out of the side pocket with ease, and landed gently on Karen's shoulder. His trainer gave him a confident look, before slapping that backpack of hers on and heading farther up the mountain. Both aware that the higher they went, the harder it would be.

The next Pokemon to come across Karen's path wasn't anywhere near as shy, nor reserved as the Clefairy had been. It came barreling down the mountainside, barely watching where it was going, as if all hell had broken loose.
{Out of the way, out of the way!} the Heracross yelled, shoving right past Karen and her Pokemon blindly; soon enough, the reason for the bug's fleeing came apparent. Something else was rolling down the hill, gaining speed and momentum from the bumpy passage; soon, it became a grey blur, as it picked up even more speed and rolled right toward Karen.

(( I already added it. xD ))
<Dangit! Have some manners!> Crash shouted as he flew up angerly off of Karen's shoulder to watch the Heracross fly off into the distance. Feeling successful, he sumersaulted in mind-air to turn around the otherway and look around.
"Wonder what the problem was." Karen asked outloud, as she put a finger to her chin in a thoughtful pose. Her thoughts dissrupted to a sudden vibration on the ground, growing more and more violent.
<I think we're about to find out...Get outta the way!> Crash screeched as he shoved against Karen with all of hism ight to get his trainer out of the way of this rock-like pokemons path. He was succesful in this, as she fell hard on her back. Watching with awe at the speedy Geodude.
"The heck is that!?" Reaching in her pocket, she fumbled about for the red pokedex that was usually there. The she checked the other pocket to find it, and scanned the blur, but wasn't getting anything becuase it couldn't scan the pokemon properly. At this she grunted.

Soon, it became easier for Karen to scan the rolling bundle of rock, as it clearly had no control over its direction, and crashed, quite loudly, into a large boulder, leaving an imprint big enough to fit a Clefairy into. As it finally unstuck itself from the rock face, the Geodude fell over in a dead faint, leaving it completely open for capture. o.o That was easy. You may try to capture the Geodude if you wish.

((Hinting at something? Hmmm.... -clock ticks in the distance-))
Quickly getting a good scan from the Geodude, she read its information. As a funny note, this was the third rock pokemon that she had ever had a good look at. Normally, Geodudes had the best camoflague. But, with something so defensive you'd think it wouldn't get KO'd so fast.
<Wimp.> The zubat said simply, while landing next to the Geodude to confirm that it wasn't faking or anything silly like that.
"I wouldn't worry about it getting attacked. I mean, its a rock. I doubt its gonna get eaten or anything. " Karen said, mis-interpreting her Zubat's actions for ones of kindness, not ones of suspicion.
<Hey, look at this tunnel!> Crash called, raising a wing up to point in the spot of collision. Indeed, it looked like something could crawl in it. But Zubats weren't for ground-baised activity.
"What's this?" His trainer had to go down on her knees to peer inside the area. It looked like there was something in it...Or it could be a rock, who knew? She looked at Crash, with a 'Hey-you-found-it-so-go-in-it' look. He simply snorted and stubbornly looked the other way.
"Fine, I'll just let Cheif take care of it." She said simply, seeing that a ground type would be perfect for exploring in these types of areas. A if on cue, a pokeball opened up from inside her backpack, speak of the devil she must've been evesdropping.
The shiny Trapinch gave a proud look as she scuttled her way over to the area. Giving Crash a small wink before digging her way in.
<Why do you catch the show off's?> Crash asked, his ears flattened.
"Hey, its not your type of job. Don't blame me for not giving you legs."

All of a sudden, a tiny Pokemon popped out in front of Karen and Crash, seemingly very upset. It seems that the Trapinch had scared the poor Diglett out of it's home and now, it was on the verge of crying.

<Uh-oh! Problem at 6:00!> Cheif called behind her, making sure that Crash and Karen had some kind of warning to the small dileama that was going their way. Quickly Crash wobbled his way in front of Karen. Suddenly remembering that he had wings, he took to fly up a couple of inches in case the Diglett attacked. Fear did wonders after all.
"Its a Diglett!" The estatic trainer exclaimed, thinking that this was possibly one of the cutest pokemon in the world. ((Dun lie, peeps. You know its true! ;o)) In a flash she whipped out her pokedex to read its stats before noticing that Chief had dug her way out of the tunnel and was in a panic to calm down the poor thing.
<Hey! Hey! I didn't mean to chase you out of your home! We all thought there was a shiny rock in there! Honest!> Cheif exclaimed, her eyes big with worry. Crash could only snicker at her innocent tries to calm down the Diglett.
"Uhhh, Chief...I trust you and all, but when something is scared you might want to take a step or two back. Just in case." Karen warned, but Cheif silently refused to be told how to handle this situation.

The poor little Diglett was crying so hard, it just didn't have the heart to try and get the scary Trapinch away from it. <You're a big meanie!> it cried, burrowing underground and moving over to Karen's leg.

<What! I am not! HE'S THE MEANIE!> The equally upset Trapinch shouted, pointing an accusing leg or two at the snickering Zubat. She was very tempted to wipe that smile off her ally's face.
<What? me? Noooo...You have your story wrong. Just because I ate the last cupcake doesn't mean-> He started, this time by a frustrated cry by Cheif. Both pokemon were sending hissing noises at each other. Which actually startled Karen, as she tried to break up the fight before it went worse.
"Guys, calm down...Make an effort, and you'll be surprised...Heheheh." She chuckled nervously as she held up her hands in an act of submission. Not realising that the Diglett was nearing her feet.

It was only thanks to a high pitch wail from the Diglett that Karen actually realised it was next to her foot. <They're scaring me!> it cried out, tears pouring out like miniature fountains.

"Eh? There you are! Hey, shushhh they aren't the scary kind. See? One of them can't walk, not so bad!" Karen quickly tried to soothe the small Diglett herself, placing a comforting finger on the back of its head. Since it was one of the smallest pokemon out there, she figured that it was equally fragile.
<Hey! I can walk!> Chief shouted out, while Crash whacked her in the head with his right wing.
<No duh, doofus!> Flying into the air to stick out his toungue at the ground-baised Trapinch. To say she was seething mad was an understatement.
"Heh, they pull off quite the comidian act. I wouldn't worry. Are you gonna be alright little guy?" Karen asked, studying the Diglett carefully while showing a more sympethic side at the same time.

The somewhat mole-like Pokemon that had declared its place beside Karen's leg slightly flinched as a single warm finger of the female was set upon its head, despite the soothing nature of the action.
The Diglet's beady black gaze nervously flickered up to Karen as she spoke about the comedic-like attitudes of her own Pokemon. Its large crimson nose [ I never found out what that was, so I'll say it's a nose. o^o; ] twitched and crinkled slightly as the comment soon came to just produce more feuding from the duo.
The sobs had now reduced to a subtle crack in its voice as the petite ground-type spoke in a somewhat hushed, tone up to Karen; voice increasing in both speed and volume as it went on,
<"I, I'm not sure. Before you g-guys came, I wasn't in my home. I was j-just out exploring and these mountains are so big, so I lost my way! ">

<Eh? So you were lost?> Cheif asked, seeing that she was half-listening to Karen and the small Diglett and half watching the Zubat that flew in the skies. Taunting her silently, so as not to get on his trainers bad side.
<That's what s/he said. You really should learn to listen, like mua!> Crash boasted, while taking a small rest on a high up rock. Within talking and listening range, at least.
Karen could only sigh, it didn't really help that she couldn't understand pokespeech. All she could do was send a glare over at her two companions and mouthed the words 'Shape Up' at them. Cheif snorted at this while walking towards the fellow ground type.
<Erm, so do you need help? We're actually exploring these mountains ourselves. To train, at least.> She explained, hoping that normal conversation would calm down the small creature.
((You know, I always wondered what that thing was myself. 0-0' Nose, mouth...Ugh. ))
