((Okay, then wheres the mouth? xD))
Karen was a bit unerved at the Digletts hiding habits, she smiled and nodded. It wasn't like she could understand the Diglett perfectly, but she could understand something from a sixth sense. The sense was saying that this Pokemon needed help, and thats what she would do.
"I guess your coming with us for a bit. We were climbing up the mountain, but we could head down if thats where your going." The trainer explained, while Crash noticed that they were prepared to climb to a different part of the mountain. He patiently waited for them to move while sitting on his perch. Chief was nodding along with Karen's words, making sure to put on a friendly smile...If a Trapinch could.
<Don't worry, we can take on ANYTHING in these Mountains!> Chief boasted, patting her puffed out chest like a man would.
<Just takes faith!> She added, winking at the small critter, trying with all of her wits to make this small Diglett smile at her.

Very slowly, the Diglett became less scared of the Trapinch. <Th..thank you> it said, a small smile on it's face. Looks like Chief managed to achieve what she set out to do after all. <I'm pretty sure it was down the mountain.>

"Alright...Where are we going Cheif?" Karen asked, glad that the Diglett had seemed to cheer up. At last they could get going, her legs were just aching for some movement. Looking up, she waved her hand int he air for Crash, to signal that they were ready to move-out.
Chief chirped in response, pointing down the mountain, and giggled at Karen's crestfallen face. They had to go back down? Ugh. She really wanted to see how high they could go, but beggars can't be choosers...Whatever that saying ment.
"Okay, we can handle it." She sighed making sure her backpack was on nice and tight before beginning thier walk down the mountains slopes. She had to be extra careful not to trip on her way down, or she'd never stop!

After a good half an hour, the Diglett could hear some panicked shouting. <Where is he? Where did my baby go!?> it was crying out. <That's it! That's my mommy!> the Diglett cried to Chief. <She's around here somewhere!>

With Crash silently following the group from behind, his ears perked up at the sound of the mothers cries for help. With a screech, he flew off ahead of the group. Only returning seconds later with news of the mother pokemon.
<Shes just over these rocks, I think theres a way through though.> The Zubat reported, motioning at the Rocks with his left wing. Karen nodded at this, and looked down with a grin.
"Alright! We're almost there! Come on!" She called, a burst of speed came through the girls body as, led by Crash, they found a large tunnel through the steep hills. Well, it was large for a pokemon at least. The tallest of the group had to duck her head low to avoid bumping into the ceiling.
<Wow, I guess you weren't gone for long.> Cheif noted as she stood protectivly by the Diglett's side. Only willing to let him go when his mother was in their sights.
(( lolz, we never did give the Diglett a gender. ))

((When I said 'he', it kinda counted as his gender)) <Mommy!!> the Diglett cried out. Suddenly, the rumbling sound of something coming towards them could be heard and within moments, a Dugtrio popped out of the ground. <My baby!!> it cried, rushing over to the Diglett as best as it could. <Oh, I'm so glad you're safe.> Looking at Chief, she said <Thank you so much for finding my son. But unfortunately, I don't have anything to give you. I'm so sorry.> Just then, a Pidgey flew into the tunnel and onto Karen's shoulder, a message in it's beak. It read "Come to Cheyenne Lane. I have to show you something important." It didn't say who it was from, but it sounded pretty urgent. The Pidgey was gone before Karen could ask anything, but it gave a quick wink to Crash before disappearing from sight.

(( Oh, I must've skipped that one word. xDD))
Karen went on her knees to watch the happy reunion of mother and son, it only reminded her on how much people resembled Pokemon. Or perhaps the other way around, in the end they were similar in characteristics. She giggled to herself on how cute the small family looked together, seeing that Dugtrio was three pokemon in one.
"I'm glad you guys are back together." She spoke, with a happy sigh at the end. Noticing Cheif, she could tell the Trapinch was indeed enjoying herself with the happy family as well.
<We don't need anything, but- Oh...Whats this> Chiefs voice trailed off as she eyed a forest bird coming up at them. Not just any bird, but a Pidgey! Which was very strange to find in Rock type lands. Crash was about to fly down to intercept the letter, but stopped at the sight of a note. Curious, he waited until the Pidgey flew away before landing on Karen's shoulder.
<What is it?> He piped up, trying to see what she was holding. Obviously he couldn't read the words, so Karen read it outloud.
"Okay, well...Looks like our training has stopped for a bit. Cheif, I'll call this a day. Return." She had furrowed brows as she wondered what this letter was about, returning Chief in that familiar red light she turned to face Crash.
"You can stay out, in case its dangerous." She said firmly, and with that tense note they headed off. Too distracted with whatever this mission could be, and didn't say good-bye. Her Zubat did however.
<Be good for ya mother kid! Hope we see you guys again!> He called out, before being bumped in the air from Karen's fast running. He quickly shut up, and payed more attention on holding on to his trainer than speaking outloud.
