Quickly running to the lake was a small girl with a Shinx on her heels. She tried to run faster than the pokemon, but it ended up tackling her into the lake. "Aw, Ele, now I'm all wet!" She pushed herself up and shook her long blonde hair out. The Shinx laughed and shook herself out, all over Jay. +hey, you started it, you wanted to race I wanted to win.+ the small pokemon smiled and jumped around in the water.
The Shinx then proceded to run out into the water and swim around. +Come on Jay, come swim with me!+ She dove underwater and splashed around then jumped out of the water and back in. Jay didn't really want to get any more wet than she already was. "I'll just watch." he told the little lion pokemon.

::MAGIKARPF::
The innocent splashing had nearly given the strolling Magikarp a heart attack, whirling around from the school of friends and family to see what the commotion was about. The way the school moved was as a full unit, but today she wasn’t in the mood to follow directions from the leader. She wanted to see what was going on, instead of simply swimming away from it without a thought.
<What is that thing?> She asked herself, never seeing a land type Pokemon like a Shinx before. And never this close and personal, though she wasn’t close enough to make actual contact with him. Her blank stare could easily be detected from the strange aura around her, because honestly, who knew what a Magikarp could be thinking? They naturally looked stupid and blind, but she was a curious one. Independent from the stereotyped fish that people actually liked to eat, she wanted to explore and learn new things.
<Having a fun swim?> She questioned shyly from afar, though she considered herself bold and adventurous, she never was all that social.

Ele looked round and saw the Magikarp. +Oh! Hello!+ She smiled at the fish. +I'm sorry, did I bother you?+ She was still laughing from playing in the water. Jay had stood up to see what Ele was talking to. She quickly pulled off her shoes and socks and jumped into the water. "Ele," She called. The Shin turned around and smiled at Jay. +Oh, you finally joined the living.+ She joked. +This a a friend I just met.+ To Ele, everyone was a friend to her even if they were attacking her, they were still her friend.
"Oh, new friend?" Jay smiled at the fish pokemon. "Hi, I'm Jay, and this is Ele. You did tell the pokemon your name, right?" Ele gasped. +Oh I didn't, how rude of me!+ She bit her lip and tilted her head to the side as she looked back at the Magikarp. +I'm Ele, as you now know.+

<Oh no! I-I’m fine.> The Magikarp stammered while swimming a couple of inches away from the carefree Shinx. You could say that she was caught off guard at how something so different looking from her could act like someone…normal? Yeah, that was the word she wanted. The Magikarp was getting more tempted to go back and join the group, but her curiosity was stronger than her nervousness around new Pokemon. And a human, who is what she imagined Jay was.
<Names? Wow. I really don’t have a name that I could tell you. I’m a simple Magikarp.> She smiled at the two, feeling at ease with the cold water all around her. She started swimming next to Ele and Jay, getting used to them and the bright atmosphere they brought to a typical scene in her life. She could see them now, her friends and family sending disapproving glances and glares at her from afar. It was alright though; she knew she was the black sheep of them all anyway.

Ele smiled. +Well then, Hi there.+ She swam out a little farther and then back to Jay. +Oh the water gets colder out there.+ She giggled. Jay couldn't elp but smile at Ele. "Yep." She was fine right where she was, in the shallows, but still up to her knees.
Noticing the glances that the Magikarp got, Jay frowned. "Oh, should you not be talking to us?" She asked. The looks weren't ones of kindness, there were a few glares mixed in there. "I don't want to get you in trouble with your... um friends or family." Ele looked over to the group and smiled, giving a happy sparkle to her eyes, she didn't seem to understand that the looks were glares.

The Magikarp smiled at the land walking creature, it seemed so strange seeing her dog paddle the way she did. As if it wasn’t meant to be, but it was happening regardless of whether she was supposed to survive by swimming or not. Being a Magikarp, swimming was her life, though she didn’t keep it in high regard. It was as natural as walking was to a person, except much easier and a much safer place to live in.
<It does?> She piped up, inching curiously to the cold spot and burst into a fit of giggles. HOLY COW! It was freezing over here! Wonder why it was doing that? She looked down to see a funny looking shell under there, which was odd, because it was something she had never seen before. It wasn’t salt water, after all.
<Hm…> She frowned, swimming closer and closer to the underwater object, disappearing from view until she rose back with a surprised look on her face. <Watch out, angry Shellder down there!> She panted, failing her way past Ele and Jay in an attempt to reach the end of the lake, to her, it felt safer because it couldn’t move around as easy as she could. What was up with that?
::shellder::
She was pretty ticked off at the moment, her shell rising and closing in extreme fits of anger. Occasionally a shard of ice would fly out from the opening, scaring any fish that dared come near in terror. Whatever was going on, it was best to keep your distance, unless you wanted an ice shard in the face.

At the sound of an angry pokemon, Ele quickly swam towards Jay and into the more shallow parts. She didn't want anything to do with an upset pokemon right then. +Let's just stay over here and not bother that.+ She said quietly, a little scared by the shards of ice. "Great idea." Jay muttered, she too didn't want to get in a battle with an angry Shellder.
"Are ther a lot of Shellder in the lake?" She asked the Magikarp a little wearly. Ele shuddered at that thought, hopefully, if there were a lot of them, they all weren't mad. That gave Ele an idea. +What other types of pokemon are in the water and around the lake?+ Maybe Ele could find another friend? All thoughts of battle left her and she suddenly perked up. Oh what fun that would be!

<Um, yeah. They are pretty common, actually. But I’ve never seen one act like that before.> The Magikarp was still wide-eyed and frightened from the experience down below. It was a lot better to stay around here and pretend that the ice shards were nonexistent; they couldn’t reach above the surface of the water anyways, for they weren’t strong enough.
<There’s a lot of Magikarp like me. > She replied with the still expression on her face, a jolt went through her body every time she sensed a spot in the water get colder than before. She wanted to ignore it all, but she somehow thought that it was possible for one of those ice attacks to accidently hit her on the side. Whatever the Shellder was raving about, it couldn’t be anything good.
<Sometimes I see Goldeen. They think that they’re so much better than us, just because they have a horn on their head.> She frowned at the thought of those stuck-up snobs. There was a bit of a rivalry with the Magikarp and Goldeen in this pond, mostly because they were equally common, and tended to fill up the entire lake.

Jay half listened to the Magikarp. "Oh are there really?" She nodded. "Goldeen you say, What else?" She turned her eyes away frm the cold water and the angry Shellder, and back to the Magikarp. "Don't bother with the Goldeen, they are just jealous of you." She said. Ele had swam out farther and past the angry Shellder, she wanted to see what else was in the water. She was curious to see what there was in the water, Goldeen and Shellder, and magikarp, there must be other things. Keeping an eye on the shore and an ear in the conversation Jay and the Magikarp were having, she pushed her legs until she was a good way into the lake.

<Yeah those little Goldeen really think that they're better than us, sometimes I can't help, but think that they are because of the power and beauty,> The Magikarp stated, finally telling one of her deep wishes, to become a beautiful, and regal Goldeen.
<well, sometimes you can see some Psyducks playing near this lake, and sometimes you may see a few Finneons, and Horseas around here every now and then,> She replied. <There's no more rare pokemon deerper inside though, I really can't tell you what kind because I'm too scared to swim all the way down to the bottom on the Lake," she added blushing a little.

Jay smiled at the Magikarp. "I think Magikarp are so much better, they evolve to be an amazing pokemon!" She sat down in the shallow water and giggle, it was cold on her legs and would make her very wet, but oh well, why not? "Goldeen are very pretty and beautiful, but they know it and sometimes they are a little vain about it." Jay winked at the Magikarp and glanced at Ele, who was still swimming around in deeper water, hopefully not bothering any pokemon. "Those are all cool pokemon, maybe I'll spot some as I move around the lake." Jay was really just here to relax and see nature, she didn't want to battle or catch anything today. "So how long have you been in this lake?" There weren't any rivers that she could see, so probally her whole life. Nodding to herself, Jay looked over at Ele again, just to make sure she was still there. Which she was.

A simple minded man had been taking a brief break from the stress of work and his daily jog around Cheyenne. Parts at a time, that is. It wasn’t as if he was literally walking from Route 1 to the famed Legendary Island. Oh no. He was still a newbie Pokemon trainer, with a single Pokemon that refused to do half of what he said. And even worse, she liked him. The Pikachu frickin’ liked him, and there was nothing he could do about it.
”Man. Why couldn’t I have gotten stuck with a Buizel, like all of the other members?” He groaned, glancing over at her overly happy features. She was a tiny Pikachu, young and small for her species. He assumed that she would grow, little by little, until she wouldn’t look nearly as weak. For now it appeared that she would just stay a runt.
<Oh! Sir! Sir! Report from the bushes. I’ve spotted a trainer, female, with a Shinx at her side. Easy targets in my opinion, sir.> She whispered from behind several bushes, gently removing her head without the slightest sound to turn around. Krem cautiously crept closer to the bushes to get himself a better look, and flashed a smile when he saw the Shinx, paddling along in the pond. It was a perfect specimen. The boss would be pleased. He glanced once more to see a Magikarp in her possession. Stupid fish. He’d let the girl keep it. She’d need some kind of Pokemon around after he swiped the Shinx off of her.
”Alright Zena. Use Thunder Wave on the water. Then the Snag ball will make an easy capture.” He grinned with another whisper, cupping his hands so only the wind could catch his devious plan. The Pikachu faintly nodded, sparks jumping from her cheeks as she dashed out from the bushes in a mad, yellow streak. She shot the energy out into the water, the electric current spread like wild fire, successfully paralyzing all of the unprepared wild Pokemon in the lake.

Jay didn't notice the boy until his pokemon let out the attack that paralized Ele. "Ahh!!" Jay also felt it and screamed in pain, like bloody murder pain, though it didn't hurt that much. "Ele!" Jay stood up and jumped towards her pokemon, then turned around and glared at the boy, a glare that would melt metal. "How dare you!" She shreaked. Carrying Ele in her arms she walked slowly towards the boy, eyes buring, temper flaring. Jay never really got mad, but he attacked her pokemon for no reason. Her eyes turned towards the Pickachu. "You had NO right!" Still standing in the lake, Jay looked at the Magikarp that was like the other pokemon in the lake. She wantd to smack him or something even worse. "If you wanted a battle you could have just asked!" She turned around and set down her Shinx, trying to find her pokeball, she'd have to go to the Poke-centre. "Stupid boy." She hissed sharply, loud enough for him to hear.

OOC: Note: Krem is a NCP character from TD. Only if you join TD, you can see his character info. So only Mods that are in TD can roleplay him/use him at will. If he does manage to catch Ele, you should go here and post your missing Pokemon, so another trainer can rescue them.
Krem snickered to himself all through Jay’s little temper tantrum, it was kinda cute actually, but it wasn’t going to stop him from his mission. As she walked closer to him, he started laughing, first at a chuckle, but slowly growing because of the fact that the two were so close. How easy was this going to be? He didn’t have to worry about bad aim now!
”I’m sorry you feel that way, kid.” He smirked, whipping out his trusty snag ball, and threw it at the Shinx as she laid paralyzed in Jay’s arms. It wouldn’t work like a Master Ball, of course. But since she was weakened, now was the perfect time to make the catch.

She didn't stop screaming, Jay went on, yelling almost at the top of her lungs, only stopping for air. When he spoke back to her, that just set Jay off even more. "Not half as sorry as you're gonna be!" When the pokeball was whipped out, Jay screamed and tried to protect Ele from the ball, failing. "NO!!" At first she got even more angry, if that was possible, then she realized what had happened and tears came to her eyes. "Please, give her back, she was my first pokemon, I'll do anything! I'll battle you for her." She walked over to him, still very wet and tears streamingdown her pale cheeks. "Please." Her voice turned to a whisper and she felt herself go weak at the knees and thought she'd faint soon, but she just had to get Ele back, she was her best friend.

Krem frowned at the girl’s outburst; her emotions had certainly brought some kind of effect on her judgment skills. Whether he was going to comply to her wishes or not, that was unknown. At the moment, he only stood as tall and emotionless as a statue from Easter Island. The man’s judgment didn’t seem to be swayed in the very least from Jay’s pleas for her Pokemon, but he hadn’t said no right away. The idea was an interesting one, and he could use the levels for future missions. That’s right. Everyone has to start somewhere, and getting experience was a good start.
”Zena.” He didn’t bother looking at the Pikachu, his order was understood as sparks started to dance from her cheeks. Krem left no other signal as he took a couple of steps away from Jaymine, not really trusting himself being so close to a psychotic woman.
<Right! I can take anything she got! Watch me zoom through the air, the sea; I’ll walk across fire, even! This battle is already won, because I’m in it!> She dramatically spoke, though she knew she was the only one around here that could actually speak Poketalk.

Jay dug around in her backpack. "So are you chicken? Afraid that I'll win?" She stood up and passed her had over her eyes, drying her tears. "Afraid a girl will beat you so you take to just stealing pokemon?" She raised an eyebrow and rested on one hip, head tilted to the side. Her dark green eyes burnt with a fierceness that was unmistakable, she wanted her pokemon back. Spining the pokeball in her palm, then tossing it in the air, she chuckled. Come on, you're taking forever." She spun it on her finger as you would a basketball, before tightly gripping it.
Glancing down at the electric pokemon jay smirked. "Cocky little thing." She caught a couple words, enough to know she was talking of how she could win Jay's pokemon. "Your pokemon wouldn't stand a chance, agains't mine." Two could play the cocky game.

Watching Jay play around with the Pokeball wasn’t one of the most interesting things he wanted to do, but judging by her emotional state, she seemed like a crazy chick. A psycho b**** was the worst thing he could imagine her being, but so far, there wasn’t a chainsaw ready to tear him to pieces. He couldn’t tell what she was going to do, until he realized that she might have been waiting for him to accept her challenge out loud.
”We’re fighting alright. But you know, the dog that barks the most is the weakest. Keep that in mind, little girl.” He smiled at her in a creepy, dark manner. As if knew some dark secret about her past, and knowing TD, you never knew just what they know.
<Eh?> Zena paused with a confused look, reacting to Jay’s comment and couldn’t help but feel uneasy about it. It eerily felt as if the girl could understand her speech. She couldn’t make any other comment, because suddenly she felt pumped up and ready to fight alongside her master. ”Pikapika, Pikachu!” She rambled on, her words getting too hard to understand with all of her excitement flowing through her.

Jay glared at the boy and looked at the Pickachu. "That the pokemon you're battling with?" She shrugged and dropped her pokeball. "Alright," A Sandshrew came out and saw the boy and pokemon, she started to growl. "Ok Dasy, we'll start. Kay, start with a simple Scratch, then we'll work our way up to the more harmful attacks." And Dasy's favorite. The pokemon jumped with excitment and quickly lashed out with a sharp, but easy, Scratch, hoping to wound the Pickachu. Jay was in a really ticked off mood right then and she wanted to hurt anyone and anything that made her even more mad. Her glare didn't stop, she just kept glaring at the boy, and almost not even blinking, still as a statue and hard as rock. ((Sorry I was mad when I wrote this... )

Krem instantly flinched when he saw that his opponent was a Sandshrew, a ground type that instantly got rid of all of Zena’s good electric type moves. Considering her level, this wasn’t good at all. She hadn’t even reached a high enough level so she could learn a physical move like Quick Attack, so all she could really use were status moves! That put him in a tricky situation, when he realized that she was going on the offense first, coming in with her right claw, aiming right at his Pikachu’s electric sacks.
’I could rely on Static. I hear it’ll even work on ground types.’ He thought with a frown, watching as his Pikachu took the attack head on with a snarl. Now that she was right next to Dasy, she snarled with sparks glittering from her cheeks. Right now, it had turned into a real catfight. She attempted to give the Sandshrew’s belly a quick shove while she had been left open, and eagerly waited for a command.
”Push her back with Tail Whip.” Krem was quick to give some input into the battle, and the Pikachu whirled around with her tail trying to smack the Sandshrew in the face. Somehow, Krem had caught on to Zena’s little strategy. Looking a little behind the Sandshrew and back, he grinned. This battle wasn’t as impossible as he thought it might be.
