All MJ could do was stare in wonder as the psychic type started to communicate with her, using words and phrases that s he was familiar with. It was almost as if she was having a conversation with an innocent young child, a thought that she enjoyed batting around in her head. With a flick of her wrist, she had the Pokémon scanned in a heartbeat, finding out about the Abra at once, and thankfully it was registered in her Pokedex.
“Not a Pikachu, but kinda close.” She tilted her head to see if the two species were remotely similar. They both had cute ears and were about the same size, but sadly, not what she actually wanted to catch. Where did this come from? She had suddenly recalled a TD mission she was supposed to be working on, but wasn’t taking it all that seriously. If something happened, then it would at its own pace.
“I can’t believe I have to catch you. Do I look like a monkey?” She sighed; exasperated at the Abra for all of the advantages it had, while she only had her two legs. She did have an idea, however. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a shiny object, only half revealing it as she ran to catch up with the Abra. It was getting difficult to keep track of it, but the moment he was staying still long enough to look at, she launched the Pokeball right at it.

The Abra giggled happily. Then it Teleported to a nearby tree branch. <He he! You're playing with me!> Then he clapped his hands. Or rather, arms? He looked happy, hanging off a tree branch. <I am no Pikachu!> He frowned as he thought for a moment. Then he smiled again, the large smile seemingly endlessly displayed. <I'm an Abra!> He glanced at the human, then swung to another tree branch. This Abra had endless energy.
<Oh, and don't forget. I am not a monkey. And the shiny thing...> He teleported to right behind the girl, and giggled happily. That would make her go over and try to catch him. Although it would be quite hard, he said to himself slyly.
[[Sorry, iz short.]]

’Argh! I missed. How could I miss? Jeez. It’s a good thing I never tried to join the Baseball team.’ She thought with a small tint of red covering her face, she had to stop the chase in order to retrieve the Pokeball and try again. She inspected it, checking to see if it was severely cracked or damaged, and thankfully it was still just as good.
“Hey. It’s not very fair with you teleporting everywhere, ya know? What’s this shiny thing anyway, are you trying to screw around with me?” She whined from the ground, half understanding the Abra’s speech, mostly thanks to the use of telepathy from both him, and from Esprit. Even from inside of the Pokeball, she could communicate with her trainer.
She slid the original Pokeball back into her pockets, trying to think of the best way to try and capture this thing. Then an idea came to her, along with the realization that she was spending quite a bit of time on this silly little Abra. Why run around, when she had Pokemon that could do that for her? With a malicious smile, she whipped out another one and threw it at the Abra, this time having a Pokemon released from its contents.
“Constrict. But be a little gentle…” MJ did fear for the Abra’s safety, since she was never a person for abusing others. The said Pokemon was a Drifloon, who spun around in dazed confusion until she spotted the Abra. Surely but silently, she obeyed with her two skinny limbs wrapping around his body like little snakes. But MJ did say to be gentle, so as soon as she made the attack, she lessened it to just holding the Abra in her limbs.
OOC: I didn’t know how to word the last part. O-o’ I’m not guaranteeing that Janel actually made the attack; these are all things that she expects to happen. So, yeah. Just a little disclaimer.

The Abra was currently perched, standing on tiptoe on a thin tree branch, face turned towards the trainer. The bronze pokemon frowned as the trainer began complaining, he didn't relize her understanding was so limited. A childlike grin on his face appeared as he teleported in front of the trainer for a few moments, before flickering away just as quickly.
He loved teasing the girl, she got so flustered so easily. He used his weak telepathic powers to try to connect with the girl. <Shiny thing! You win shiny thing! Shiny thing good!> he exclaimed, clapping his hands with glee.
The Abra saw a pokeball being flung at it and gasped silently, before fading away and appearing behind the trainer, a small pout on his face as a pokemon appeared. <Aww... I wanted you to catch me.> he complained, but shrugged, pokemon or human, it was a playmate.
Laughing obnoxiously, he giggled as the Drifloon reached out for him. To the Abra it was as if the pokemon was moving in slow motion. He didn't even look troubled and smiled a sly smirk as he Teleported away from the pokemon's grasp quickly. The speed of his teleporting speeding up until he was a hazy blur, not staying in a place for more than two moments. He quickly teleported uptop MJ's head. There he stayed sticking out his tounge at the pokemon.

Seeing that Janel was having trouble grabbing the Abra, she took out another Pokeball to prepare her for the devilish psychic type. Something told her that it wasn’t going to go away unless she caught it, and she really did not want to catch it, but she could always release it afterwards. Incidentally, it was the same Pokeball she threw at the Abrea earlier, though she had no clue since she wasn’t looking as she grabbed it. To her, any would do. The Drifloon was looking around in confusion, her back was turned to the teasing Abra’s laugh, and only noticed until he called out to her. She was visibly embarrassed and distraught from her previous attempt, and didn’t know whether she should try again, so hung limply in the air while MJ was left to fend for herself.
“I got something Shiny too.” She muttered darkly, pausing for a dramatic effect until she sprung into action. She was planning on catching the Abra off guard as she threw the Pokeball at it with her trained reflexed, and she would have loved to see it get away from this.
“Janel, Constrict the Pokeball shut. I don’t want it getting away.” She breathed out a quick order, not sure if the Abra was caught in the first place. Janel felt like she could do that, and gleefully went over to the Pokeball to wrap it up with her long arms.

The Abra quickly made itself visible again, this time on a patch of earth that was lumpy and full of small holes. <Nanananabooboo!> he yelled, sticking out his tongue. Then he glanced at the Pokeball, and snorted cautiously. <That's not shiny! It's ugly, he said, <Super-ugly.> Then he began to teleport around and around yet again, this time whirling around the trainer. He then sat upon the trainer's head again, swirling around and around.
Haha. If the Drifloon were to attack, she would smack her trainer. HAHAHA. And she was really planning to do some harsh work on this group. He had a great plan, and plus. He always had the shiny thing on his side. Because it seemed like this shiny thing wasn't a normal Pokeball that you would expect. This shiny thing was something that Abra had found during his 'Great Travels of an Abra Pokemon'. The shiny thing was special to him, and he had only mentioned it because of an accident. Now it seemed he would have to be especially smart to not get captured by this trainer. But actually, it was kind of fun.

Note: MJ went on a bit of a shopping spree earlier, so some things are a little different now
’Suddenly. This Abra isn’t as cute as I thought it was. Then again, kids never are, are they?’ MJ thought with a wistful sigh, glaring at the Abra for fooling her once again. She had been so certain that her reflexes would have been better than the Abra’s, but it had only teleported away without even mentioning her efforts. Bah. She wished that she could think about something that she could do to stop this, so she could start lying down in the middle of this forest, and have time to think. Think. God, she hadn’t done that in a while.
“Don’t you have friends or something to play with?” She sent a questioning look at the Abra, she suddenly wanted to appear aloof and distant. This wasn’t the time to be complaining, because look where it got her. It got her nowhere. Exactly.
<Oh! Oh! I could be your friend, if you’d let me.> Janel cooed from afar with a flirtatious wink at the Abra, sending a cartoon heart in his direction. Like in the anime, sweat drops and anger marks, those types of things. Instead though, once she thought she was close enough, she sent a scented air kiss to him, the use of Attract to try and calm the Abra down.

<Nope, nope, nope. No friends.> The Abra giggled happily, grinning from... uh, head to other part of head. Suddenly, he turned solemn. Maybe it was because of the friend mention. <No friends. They all abandoned me.> He looked at the Drifloon, and then looked away. He wouldn't have a Drifloon to be his friend. They were too drifty. Plus, he wanted a friend that was of the same species as him. With this, he ignored Janel's attract attack.
This Abra isn't going anywhere, he thought to himself grimly. Then he hung on the trainer's head. He decided to teleport on and off the different Pokemon's heads. Once on the Trainer's head, and once on the Drifloon's head. He would switch between them. This would be quite fun. The shifting weight had to make up for something, right? The Abra began to use Teleport, and when he was atop the Drifloon, he would make sure that the Drifloon felt him. Maybe, if he was heavy enough, she would sink! He giggled happily. Now that would be fun. Watching Janel sink. <Hehehe.> Came a small laugh, and then he became a bit more loose than before.

Floating warily to the side with the frightening thought of being ignored was making Janel panic, as if there was an inner psychotic n00b inside of her ready to explode if she didn’t get any attention. More hearts flew out of her eyes, as the discomfort from having no effect on the Abra increased. She increased in size and decreased, showing her flexibility with her balloon like body to try and vent out her anger. During this, she used brief periods of Minimize, gaining and losing her evasion advantage as she pleased.
MJ was getting annoyed with this, not knowing how to quite handle the situation. All she could do was sweat drop when the Abra’s teleport was miscalculated, making him fall into nothing but the air beneath Janel. She didn’t stop with the overflowing Attract barrage, becoming almost frantic with every misshapen and cracked heart she blew out.

[Ooc: Mod coin!]
The Abra laughed and felt the need to play more games. I mean come on, this going from head to head thing got a little old and, like most Abras, this one didn't care to get caught.
Now teleporting to behind a tree, the move 'Attract' was use and in midst of the teleport, Abra was hit. WOW!
Abra stopped his teleport and turned around to face the Driftloon, his head dizzy and heart flying around, he slowly walked over and held on to one of the Driftloon's strings, smiling pervertidly. [Mine.] He swooned, swaying from side to side.

Janel stared right at the Abra when one of her cracked hearts had struck in right between the eyes, she couldn’t even breathe, because it was the first time she had ever used the attack against an opponent. Honestly, she didn’t know what to expect from the move, and neither did MJ until the Abra made a lunge for one of her long arms.
<Eeeeeek! It’s on me! Get it off! Get it off! Misstress!> She screamed in her panic, floating to the left and to the right with the Abra swinging around roughly with every quaking movement. Through all of this panic, she didn’t even realize that MJ was shouting commands at her until she happened to look in her direction. Followed by a brief period of feeling rather stupid, she glared down at the Abra, with the last command still fresh in her mind.
”Use your Constrict. Don’t you dare lose it.” She glared at the Drifloon, standing haughtily from her spot like a young mother lecturing a child. Janel was more than eager to obey her Mistress, and slyly used her other arm to slowly wrap itself over the attracted Abra, and when he least expected it, she squeezed with all of her might.

The Abra giggled like a small child as it hung onto the long trailing tendrils of the Drifloon. A goofy smile plastered onto the pokemon's face, it gazed up lovingly at the flying type above him. Within moments he was whipped off the ground and smacked against trees that were to the left and right of the Driftloon.
With each vicious assult by the tree, the Abra let out a weak laugh, never loosing it's grip on his prize. Dazed, the pokemon was easily caught in the Constrict. The Abra has seemed to become a little disoriented; the antics of the pokemon strangly resembled a drunk man. The Abra laughed randomly and reached out towards the Driftloon with his free arm. It let out a hiccup and laughed uproarously, before drooping.
Yeah, you might not want to use Attract again anytime soon.
Within a few minutes the Abra looked around, dazed and with a throbbing headache. <Huh... Wha? Where am I?> the pokemon questioned before seeing the trainer in front of him. <Oh crap. You caught me.> he shouted, struggling to escape before nearly tipping over. <Oh. Mew. What happened to me? Here take this and go away.> he drawled, warily, and just before passing out, he tossed a small item at the trainer.
Congrats! You have recieved a TM! TM29- Psychic

<I don’t feel any stronger…I thought it was a battle.> Janel muttered to herself after noting the fainted Abra laying on the ground. To be honest, he didn’t look very comfortable there, and she doubted that even he deserved to be put in a place like that. True, the attention she received had been a bit much for her to handle, she didn’t want him to be out here in this horrible weather. Winter was already on its way, and he didn’t look like the type that would enjoy it.
”I caught it, believe it or not.” MJ laughed, while holding the TM between her fingers, it was very cold, and very shiny. She hadn’t read it until the thought just popped into her mind, and took a closer look at the disc.
”It says Psychic. It sounds pretty dangerous. You think it’s like a mind reading move or something? Well, anyway, I don’t think you’d be able to learn it.” She swiped out her trusty Pokedex to search for a Pokemon that could learn such a move. Two Pokemon she knew came on the screen. Esprit. And that Abra. No doubt in her mind that she would teach it to Esprit, but she glanced at the Psychic type once more. He seemed really tired, and he wasn’t all that bad. She would catch him, but only to nurse him back to health. She really wasn’t in the mood to go out and train such an annoying little thing. She already had Lotad to worry about. Either way, she slid the TM and her Pokedex into her pocket, and tossed a Pokeball at the Abra.

MJ couldn’t help but feel a bit relieved when the Abra was captured; she and Janel exchanged a long look before the connection was cut off with the mysterious appearance of a Pokeball. It was Janel’s, actually, and she gave a weak smile at the Drifloon as she was returned inside. As the beam extended to bring her forth, the Pokeball had felt a bit heavier with the return of its prisoner. It wasn’t a weight that she would complain about, but it was quite interesting to note.
”Alright. Abra, come out.” She reached over at the Abra’s Pokeball, and let the playful little creature out. His senses were reawakened, and he gave a curious tilt of his head when he found himself face to face with his new trainer. There was a strange sense of joy inside him, but that same sense had a darker side, like there was something to dread.
”I guess I should use this TM on ya, so you can put up more of a fight. Here.” She also handed him two dark candies, a mysterious smile on her face as she watched the Abra gulp the power candies down in two bites. His body temporarily glew with a dark aura, but it settled down as he let out a short belch in her face.
’I kinda regret that…But he should be stronger now. The Pokedex don’t lie.’ She thought with a sigh. Sitting beside the Abra under the shade of a young Pine Tree, its needles were soft, and didn’t cause one to cringe if you touched it. Its scent was good, and brought out an even bigger love for the scenery around the two. MJ decided that now was the time for a break, after all of that trouble the Abra caused her, she didn’t want to get up for at least a day! Or two. Or a week.

A rather small and slithery Pokemon appeared, grinning at the sight of both a trainer and a Pokemon. This would really make quite a good meal! Turning around, he quickly went back into the grasses in order to get his friends. A group battle would do good. Plus, he couldn't do the whole thing all by himself. His friends would be good help, and nice partners. He wasn't planning to do this alone!
<C'mon guysss,> he could be heard saying to his two buddies. He seemed to be a bit agitated, but not too much. After all, he had to keep his cool. If his friends saw that he was not being confident they wouldn't come with him. Ekans were not a type of Pokemon who loved to attack those without being rather sure they would win. He liked to know that. Otherwise, who would be able to get food? It was a grotesque fact, but Ekans had to eat. It was their natural life process. No one was supposed to disturb that, right? That was what the Ekans believed, so they did as their heart [where?] told them to do. It was what they had to do, so they did it.
::ekans:: x3
Ekans [x3] have appeared!
Ekans [x3] would like to battle with you! Three on Three!
Slithering back out towards the Abra with his buddies, he let out a roar. <We challenge you to a Pokemon battle! Three on three! Um, - at here he quieted, then resumed his loud voice - <Battle begin!> he shouted, then took positions. They were ready for the battle. So were his friends, and they all seemed extremely happy. <You loose, we get to eat you. We loose, we leave,> he explained. It was pretty snappy, since he really didn't like to talk that much. You couldn't expect that much of them, could you? [/center]

MJ opened her eyes for a second to glance at the three Ekans before settling back down with a contented sigh. She wasn’t phased in the least. But something seemed odd about that tiny little glance. She glanced out one eye to see the three more clearly, Ekans. Snakes. And they looked ready to eat the two of them, not good seeing that they were outnumbered at the moment.
<You dummies. > The Abra began, Teleporting so that he would land on the head of the speaking Ekans. His aim seemed spot on this time, and successfully wrapped his legs around the leader.
<Who would agree to something like that? You should give us something for when we win. > He argued, tapping the main Ekan’s nose for additional effect on his point. But he was purposely trying to annoy the hell out of the creature for as long as possible.
’Eh. Should I send someone else out? I kinda feel bad for having him be the only one out here.’ MJ was left to think to herself, as she found herself rummaging through her pockets until she picked up two more Pokeballs. They were transparent at the top, so she could see an excited Lotad and a curious Mesprit twirling around the edges of the sphere, wanting to join in the fun. She let the duo out, but made sure to keep them close to her, since she didn’t want Abra to get hurt from any of their attacks. ”Just keep close to me. At the first sign of danger, attack.” She commanded like a strict parent, watching them with stern eyes to make sure they did as they were told.

The middle ekans that had been speaking curled his lips in humiliation. At the abra's tap on the nose, he writhed around in an attempt to throw the stupid creature off. Seeing it as a signal to attack, the two henchmen-snakes launched themselves at the telepathic creature in an attempt to wrap him.
In the middle of all of the writing snakes, an irritated voice was heard: <Imbecile! We'll eat you all! Deadmeats!>

As slippery and silly as the Abra was in his previous battle of wits against MJ, they weren’t coming in handy against the three Ekans, for he was successfully wrapped for a good couple of seconds. The only problem was finding the mind control in order to teleport away from the danger, when he was experiencing so much pain. He couldn’t use any psychic attack moves with all of this pain in his brain.
Silly as it may sound, it was true. MJ didn’t quite understand what was going on, but with Esprit’s nervous cries, she ordered the two after the purple mass to try and save him before he suffocated. Confusion would be good, but it was a weak attack. It would only be able to remove one Ekans at a time. Lotad could remove another one with one of his attacks; maybe draw one away so Abra could have a fair fight against a sole Ekans.
”Esprit, use your Confusion. Lotad, help him out with your Astonish!” She said, the two Pokémon wasting no time in rushing to their friend’s aid. The Mesprit rose a foot or so into the air, glowing with visible blue energy, as smooth as water, as it flowed straight for one of the tangled up Ekans, hoping to dislodge it from the group. Lotad knew what he had to do, sensing the panic and chaos that was going around as he used an Astonish on the first Ekans he saw. He didn’t know exactly how it would work, but he knew he just wanted to shove the thing off of his new buddy.

The Ekans Wrapped around the Abra hissed furiously as he tightened his coils around his prey. He had a smug grin on his face and his tongue flicked in and out of his mouth as he took all the scents of the battle around him.
One of the free Ekans hissed at the Mespirit. {I'm your opponent!} he spat, opening his mouth wide and countering the Confusion attack with a barrage of Poison Stings. He wasn't about to let this battle get out of hand. His comrade was busy with that Abra, it was his job to deal with the Mespirit, now.
However, the other Ekans had no intention of keeping the Lotad away from his opponent. He was slithering quietly over to the little lily pad-looking Pokemon, his tongue flitting in and out of his mouth. He was silent as the grave, not that it mattered since the Lotad was preoccupied with the other Ekans.
The Astonish attack took the Ekans by surprise. He let out a cry of fear and his coils slackened around the Abra he was currently squeazing. He was too stunned to even retaliate and continue with the Warp attack, leaving the Abra open to escape if it so wished.
That was when the third Ekans acted. With a furious hiss, he spat a barrage of Poison Stings at the Lotad, coiling his body up so that he was in a little ball-shape. {You should worry more about yourself!}
