Morgan was not feeling very good. She had her Pokemon, sure. She was having a lot of fun going around in circles, sure. But how in the world would she become a Pokémon Master? Route one was the first route, and that seemed pretty far from where you could battle the Elite Four. Very far.
However, she managed to stay cheery and talkative like her normal self, and let out her Pokémon. First, a small Cyndaquil appeared, glancing around and letting itself smell the woods and pines around this area. Next a Kirlia appeared, not really caring of anything. Morgan didn't want to use her right now, as she was probably rather high of a level and would most likely kill the Pokémon instead of fainting it. Really not what Morgan wanted.
What did Morgan want? Well, she wanted to catch as many Pokémon as she could without being too mean or evil to any of the animals. You see, Morgan wasn't the type of person who was mean or bad to any Pokemon, in fact, she really likes any kind of pet or animal. They are nice companions anyway.
Morgan stood up and stretched in the cold autumn air. "It's a nice day, huh?" she said, smiling at her two Pokémon. Morgan's Cyndaquil glanced at her and smiled a bit at her, and Morgan's smile increased. The Kirlia just glanced at her and showed her a small ghost of a smile. Kind of weak, but it was what most Psychic Pokémon did: they didn't show much emotion, merely because they were of the Psychic type.

Indeed, it was a very nice day. The sun was shining, the Taillows were chirping and flying around, simply enjoying the sunshine and the puffy white clouds that seemed to just float in the sky so peacefully. A small Spoink was also enjoying his time today and decided to take a stroll. Simply bouncing down Route one, he didn't seem to notice the trainer and ran right into her leg. [Hey!] Spoink shouted out as he fell back, embarrassed and angry. He didn't like to be angry and this was no exception in the case. Still angry, Spoink decided to use a Psywave towards the trainer's Cyndaquil in anger.

Cyndaquil dodged as the attack came ominously close to him; he didn't feel very good or nice at the time anymore. The Spoink had ruined his mood! <Why you little Puffball!> he said, angry at the Psywave that the Pokemon had aimed towards him. This was not a good day for him any longer. His eyes lit up, and he glared at the Spoink with a Leer attack. He did this both because he wanted the Spoink to become scared and because the Spoink would have lower defense that way. Next he charged towards the Spoink with his Tackle attack, feeling very proud of himself the whole time because he was in his first Pokemon battle. He was determined not to lose, since this was his first battle.
"Ouch!" Morgan uttered a small word as the Spoink hit her, and she turned towards the Pokemon disgustedly. "How could you do that?" She looked angry, but then her face creased into an easy smile. Well, who could help bumping into someone? But it looked like her Cyndaquil wasn't going to tolerate anyone who decided to attack him. He had already started a real battle, and Morgan relaxed into a comfortable position. She decided just to let them fight their differences out.
Meanwhile, the Kirlia had found her way into a small trance. She sat, poised, as she glanced from one Pokemon to the other. Her gaze seemed to penetrate and shrink back anyone who dared to glare at her. Her face showed no passion, and she seemed to take all of her work grimly. She smiled a faint smile, and then her face became a pale color normal to her breed's type. This was one serious Pokemon!

The Spoink was hit with the Leer and bounced back a few feet, only to run back and use the move, Splash. Which was completely pointless but, nonetheless, this Spoink was angry enough to use any attack at this Cyndaquil to defend herself from being embarrassed. Spoink used SplashMean while, as the battle went on, a small set of eyes looked down with her head tilted to the side from in the trees. She seemed like the Halloween type and wanted to spook the trainer and her Pokemon but, had to wait her turn to appear. did not Appear

"Wonder how they're doing, huh?" Morgan tilted her head to the Kirlia, smiling a bit. The Kirlia returned the smile with a dark glare, and Morgan shrunk back. "Geez, you didn't have to be happy, you know?" She turned back to the battle, trying to focus on anything but her cold Kirlia. It wasn't easy knowing someone didn't like you. Especially if that someone was a high-leveled Pokemon. "Go, Cyndaquil!" Morgan cried, pretending or seeming to be a lot like a cheerleader.
Cyndaquil got splashed a bit, but it didn't do anything to him. Then he shook his head a bit, still some confused. He wondered why he didn't loose any HP, but didn't take the time on it. His trainer was cheering him on! He had to do this battle right! The small Cyndaquil used a Covet attack, just in case the Spoink was holding an item that might help him. Then he leaped forward with another Tackle attack. At least all his attacks had an effect. For a moment the Cyndquil felt sad for the Spoink because he had only one damaging attack. Or so he thought, anyway.

The Spoink watched the Cyndaquil carefully, his eyes narrowing as he observed the fire-type. Dissappoinment clouded the psyhic pokemon as his pathetic splash attack didn't do anything. Letting out a depressed sigh, the pokemon glanced over at the cheering trainer who was sweatdropping slightly, and an aura of nervousness was radiating off of her.
The Spoink felt a gaze upon him and glanced over at the Kirlia seated by the trainer. As those cold hard gaze was fixated upon the Spoink let out a small squeak of fright and lept back. Those eyes. the Spoink thought, shivering. That was the devil!
The covet caught him by suprise and snatched away the Oran Berry he had been planning to have for lunch. <Hey!> he protested, <That was my lunch!> Preoccupied with the fact his lunch had been stolen, he was hit with the speedy Tackle. Grunting, he managed to stay upright, but rubbed his aching tail.
You have recieved an Oran Berry!
Angered, the Spoink darted at the Cyndaquil with a Psywave attack, one that would do damage on contact. He vaguely noticed a pokemon lurking in the shadows, but put that fact aside for now.

The Cyndaquil had just prepared to launch another Tackle attack when the Spoink's Psywave had hit him hard on the flames. Luckily he wasn't exactly hurt too much by the attack because of his flames, but it still wasn't easy to just sit around when the Pokemon was using an attack that could actually do some damage. Uneased, the Cyndaquil glowered at the Spoink for ruining his reputation. Or tarnishing it, at some point. Oh well. At least he had gotten an Oran Berry. It looked good, but he was going to save it for later. Or somehow intimidate the Spoink, who looked pretty intimidated already.
"Uh oh," Morgan sighed, and glanced over her shoulder. She shuddered. Creepy Kirlia. Wonder if she'll ever like people, but Morgan doubted it. Doubted it a lot. Not exactly easy to be comfortable near a Pokemon that stares at you as if you're not even there... "Come on, Cyndaquil!" Morgan shouted, pumping her hands in the air.
Kirlia simply stood there, not even flinching at the sound of the Spoink's loud screech. She didn't exactly care about what happened to any of the Pokemon, only that she was kept in a place where she wasn't disturbed. And since the little Cyndquil was taking care of the Spoink for the time being, she wouldn't have to worry about anything. Not really anything, anyway. Except for her trainer, who kept looking at her. Very annoying, actually.
The Cyndaquil walked over to the Spoink, not really caring about it, but he didn't care. He just wanted to get this battle over with and keep going! Really quite stupid. But whatever, he wasn't a Pokemon just to cower in fear of a Spoink. He let loose a large black cloud, and the Smokescreen attack covered the entire field with a dark smoky color. Smelled like burnt things, and Morgan wasn't feeling so great. Then he let loose a fiery war cry and Tackled the Spoink. Rather rash, but he didn't care. As before, he just wanted to get this over with.

Raising an eyebrow at the Cyndaquil’s haughty walk, he carefully hopping to face toward the Cyndaquil, a faint showdown went between the two. So personal, that only they would be able to sense the tense emotions going between them. He glared at him, preparing for any type of physical attack that might be thrown his way, when he was emerged in a thick cloud of smoke. His eyes were stained with tears, the smoke had forced them out as he started coughing, struggling to hop away from the cloud, but only went farther inside of the smokescreen. Then he was tackled backwards, and with lowered defense, the Cyndaquil had managed a square hit in the gut. All of the good air was thrown out of him, and all he could breathe in was this smoke.
’I gotta get out of here! My life is on the line!’ He thought in his panic, coming up with this unusual idea to jump over the cloud of smoke. The first bounce was only a warm up, and then the second got him a little higher…Soon he was soaring over the cloud, thankful to be immersed in this wonderful land he called home. Of course, he had no idea where the Cyndaquil was, and as he fell, he shot out a Psywave, having no idea what would happen after he launched it. Seconds after that, he was hidden in the smokescreen once more. Only this time, he was prepared for the oxygenless smoke by holding his breath.

<Cheater!> The Cyndaquil said, running about, straining his eyes to see up. He wasn't effected by the smokescreen as much since he was the creator of it. Plus, he was a fire type. Fire types were not nearly as easy to beat in the smokescreen! He hadn't gotten hit by the Psywave. In fact, it was off by several feet. Cyndaquil gave an easy grin and smiled. The Spoink had just given out its location, except it probably wasn't in the air anymore. That grin melted. Now he had to find where the Spoink was!
Turning around in a slow circle, the Cyndaquil saw a hazy shape in the form of a Spoink. Or at least he thought he did. <Aha!> he mumbled under his breath. Leaping forwards, he used a Leer attack first. Then he rammed towards the figure with his Tackle attack. That included a small curse. Of his own collection of swares that were unknown to anyone else except for himself. And he didn't use his collection very often; only when he was extremely frustrated.
"Sheesh," Morgan said, looking at the black smoke cloud that had gathered. He didn't have to make it that big, she thought. Then she turned away, hoping that the smoke wouldn't and didn't get into her lungs. Now that wouldn't be good. She'd be just like a person who smoked all day and didn't get any fresh air. And Morgan definitely did not want to be one of the people who smelled and looked as bad. She didn't want a yellow liver.

The Spoink bounced through the smokescreen, looking for the little fire type called a Cyndaquil. He was much more angry now that his psybeam didn't hit and thus, wanted some revenge from this little incident. Nonetheless, Spoink looked around, wanting to unleash another attack but, this smoke was so thick, so strong, he couldn't see until.. A bright light of leer hit him in the face, making his defense fall and then, a tackle attack had pushed him onto the ground. This wasn't fair, nor was it right, he couldn't see and he defiantly couldn't predict that those attacks would of happened, or hit him in the least but, Spoink was upset now. Standing up, he tried hard to go for another attack, maybe just one more would defeat this little fire demon but, he couldn't do it and this, fell backwards, fainted.
You defeated Spoink! Cyndaquil gains one level!

Morgan shook her head in relief as the smoke cleared away. Now for that Spoink. Hopefully it wouldn't bother them again. As she saw the Spoink's fainted body, she reached out. Poor Pokemon. I doubt it would want to join us, she thought. Oh well. At least she was nice enough. She took out a Pokeball, but only kept it next to the Spoink. That Spoink, when it woke up. It might want to join, but if it didn't, she'd just thank it and leave.
<Ha! My first battle! I won!> The Cyndaquil jumped around happily, seeming cheery until he noticed the Kirlia's glare. There he stopped, and then turned away. Soon he was dancing with the Cherubi and Shadow Charmander on Morgan's team. At least they were way nicer than the Kirlia. And plus, they were more approachable and not as creepy.
The Pokemon stopped to look at the Pokeball that was rested near the Spoink, and then turned back to their little celebration. No point in looking at someone that was of no use or interest to themselves.
<They are rather stupid, are they not?> The Kirlia telekinetically told this message to Morgan, who jumped and twitched in surprise. "Not totally, just... overexcited," she told the Kirlia. The two exchanged a small grin, and then the Kirlia went back to her normal self, sitting and trying not to pay any attention to the festivity around her.

A few minutes passed before the piglet stirred, almost every inch of his body coated with bruises. He wasn't in pain, though, as he examined the pokeball that had been positioned near him. Clumsily, the spoink came too close to the spherical device and prodded it with his snout, causing it to open up and swallow him in a cloud of scarlet. The ball squirmed around on the dusty land, causing groups of dust to rise from the ground. At last it came to a pause; the spoink was now in the trainer's possession.
You caught a spoink!

Morgan hadn't even noticed the Spoink had been caught, she was focusing so much on the little celebration her Pokemon had been having. It was way too loud, and how was she supposed to here a little click to indicate the Spoink had been caught? Anyway, she didn't care much about whether it came or not. It wasn't that much of a Pokemon she liked, anyway.
When Morgan finally noticed the Spoink, she sighed. "Oh well guys," she told the group. "You better stop now. He's part of our team," Then she picked up the Pokeball and tucked it into her small belt. The group stopped for a moment, rather surprised by the Spoink joining their little group. They then returned to their respective Pokeballs, seeming quiet now that another Pokemon that was different from them had joined their team.
<Petty Spoink,> Kirlia thought, turning to Morgan. Morgan ignored her, seeming to hope that her group wouldn't ignore the small helpless Pokemon too much. After all, Morgan had a kind heart, and she wanted her little group to be as helpful as they could. There were so many Pokemon who needed someone to care for them in the world!
The Kirlia turned back to her own thoughts, and soon seemed bored. She joined Morgan in walking towards the towering buildings that were the next town. Except she was kind of floating in midair.

A small, green, worm-like Pokemon inched onto the path in front of Morgan and sat in the middle of the little path, sun-bathing. There wasn't much time for sun-bathing now that it was Autumn, so the warmth was a great relief to the Caterpie. It looked up as a shadow loomed over it and noticed the trainer and her Pokemon. She blinked, then squealed in fear. Without thinking, the little Caterpie let loose with a String Shot attack, trying to tangle the agressors so she could quickly inch out of sight. [Caterpie Attacks!] [Retaliate or Move On?]

Morgan looked at the Caterpie. "I don't think it wants us to bother it," she said to the Kirlia, and the Kirlia nodded.
<I'll get it back to where it belongs for you,> she offered, holding her hands out tentatively to take the Caterpie back to where it used to be, before it had been sun-bathing itself. Suddenly, a small sticky tendril took hold of the Kirlia. She glared up at the Caterpie she'd been helping, and a dark glint was in her eyes. <You little nerd!> she cried, untangling herself quickly. She looked deep into the eyes of the small Pokemon and used a Confusion attack. <Hmph. That ought to teach it a lesson,> she said to Morgan.
"Kirlia..." Morgan sighed. She didn't have to react nearly as harshly as she had. Oh well. I guess she couldn't help it.

The poor Caterpie nearly had a heart attack. The Confusion attack left her flying through the air and she bounced on the ground once before jumping to her little stubby legs and looking around frightfully.
{Oh no! I'm under attack! Still! String Shot awaaaaaaayyy!} she declared, trying out a String Shot attack in some random direction. She was too far in a panic attack to really be paying attention to anything.
Suddenly, she stopped, panting, and looked to the trainer and rather angry-looking Kirlia. She blinked, then gave the pair a rather horrified look. {Oh my! Ever so sorry!} she gasped. What had she just been doing again? Oh yeah. . . Freaking out for no reason.

<Good for you I'm not in a seriously bad mood,> the Kirlia said, giving off a hmph before turning away from the extremely problematic Pokemon. She didn't want to hang out with someone of the type.
Morgan glanced at the Kirlia, then back at the Caterpie. <It's okay,> she told her. It didn't really matter. No one had really gotten hurt, and the Caterpie didn't seem too aggressive of a Pokemon. She supposed it just had a bit of problem controlling itself and what it did. No reason to get all mad at it and stuff. It really was quite unfair for the Pokemon itself, and it wasn't even her own fault! Poor Pokemon. <Here, we'll leave you alone, kay?> She turned around and beckoned the Kirlia to follow her away. <Good luck!>
She started walking away, turning around a few times to make sure the Caterpie was still where it was. She hoped it didn't have too many problems with the other Pokemon. Maybe it could recover from whatever problem it seemed to have with other Pokemon and its overreactiveness. Maybe.

The Caterpie was fiddling with her red attenne, feelinf another panic attack coming on as the Kirlia stared down at her with a stare so bitterly cold, she could've frozen on the spot literally. As the pokemon turned away, the Caterpie felt a surge of relief and a wave of self-conciousness. Why did they want to leave? Was she really that weird? The Caterpie moped around as they left, trudging slowly into the safe shelter of the bush.
With a shrill scream the Capterpie was plucked up and swallowed by a flying Pidgey. The pokemon was quickly silenced.
Huh. Perhaps you should've stayed with it.
A nearby pokemon was lurking in the shadows of a bush, and without hesitation began trotting alongside the trainer and Kirlia. The male shook his head at the stupidity of the green Caterpie. <Huh. About time she got eaten.> he said, glancing up at the flying-type that had recently devoured the Caterpie. <She was a born idiot and she kept causing problems for everyone else.>
The Seedot glanced up at the trainer. <Anyways, I was wondering if you'd be up for a battle. I'm battling my enemy later and I wanted to try out some of my moves.> he asked.
Seedot had appeared! ::seedot:: Seedot wants to battle! Accept/Decline?

Morgan looked down at the Seedot, suddenly feeling self-conscious. Who wouldn't when they were talking to a one foot or two foot tall acorn? Oh well. Supposedly, that was how it was supposed to go and Pokemon were just - like that.
"Sure!" Morgan replied. She'd be glad to help the Seedot get to a higher level; it wasn't often you even got to see someone level up. It would be nice to help a Pokemon get to its goals, wouldn't it? Clearly, the Kirlia didn't think so.
<Stupid -> Morgan quickly shushed Kirlia by returning her to her Pokeball. She didn't want any offenses to be taken because of her Kirlia. After all, it wasn't exactly what she called 'helpful' and 'nice.' If you knew what she meant. However, the Kirlia kept saying, <Stupid Caterpie,> to the Seedot and Morgan. Oh well. It wasn't as if she was doing anything really bad, was she?
Morgan took out a Pokeball and let out her Shadow Charmander. "It's a bit higher leveled, but I wanted to try him out," she apologized, looking at her energized Pokemon. "Or maybe we'll just do with this guy," she said, holding out the Pokeball that contained the Cherubi. It would be more fair that way. After all, the Shadow Charmander was Shadow and a fire type. Probably higher leveled than the Seedot too. The Cherubi was also Level ten, but at least it was a grass type. She let out the Cherubi to let the Seedot decide which Pokemon it would like to battle. It didn't really matter to her, she just didn't want to regret this if the Shadow Charmander really scorched the Seedot badly.

The Seedot took a step back, listening to the trainer talk to herself. He found this a bit odd but, none the less, he wanted to battle to get the blood flowing due to the cold.
A light breeze came by and Seedot saw the Cherubi appear and got ready to attack. First, he decided to use a leech seed as hit first attack, shooting small green flower seeds at the Cherubi quickly.
Seedot used Leech Seed!
