Jayjack was still running full speed when she reached Route 1. She skidded to a graceful stop and stared at the Pokeball in her hand. Her first Pokemon, a Chingling. "Here it goes," she muttered under her breath. "Chee-chan, come out." Jayjack tossed the Pokeball high into the air. A little Chingling came out of it in a beam of red. "We'll have to start small, Chee-chan." The Chingling seemed to nod in response. "If I want a Zangoose, I'll need more Pokemon. Become stronger," Jayjack continued. Chee-chan nodded once more. Then, she wandered into a patch of tall grass, Chee-chan right behind her. Now, all she had to do was wait for a wild Pokemon.

A Combee was flying overhead when it saw a Chingling below, and its trainer. This was quite a mischief little Combee, and always had a plan. He was faster than most Combees his level, for he worked on his speed to have an advantage on other Pokémon. The Combee swooped down at full speed and circled around the trainer's head. Combee, bee! The Combee teased. He looked at the little Chingling, and seemed to laugh. The Combee flittered his wings faster with each second until a large gust was formed, though it wasn't directed toward the trainer or his Pokémon. Instead, he directed it towards a tree opposite them, and many leaves fell from the branches. The Combee was merely proving his strength and speed to the Chingling, daring it to attack. A wild Combee appears!

As the Combee flew around her head, Jayjack tried to follow it with her eyes, resulting in slight dizziness. "A...Combee," she observed. When it seemed to attack a tree, Jayjack was surprised. It was fairly strong, maybe stronger. It would be a good addition to her team. "Chee-chan, we need that Combee," she said, almost to herself. But it would be too risky to attack it. Chee-chan made little chime noises, saying <Do you wanna help us? We wanna catch a Zangoose!> Chee-chan was in a perky mood. Jayjack's only immediate goal was to catch a majestic Zangoose, like the one that had inspired her long ago.

The Combee fluttered his wings, and replied to the Chingling, You'll have to catch me, first! The Combee flew around the trainer's head again, buzzing excitedly. He stopped, face to face with the trainer, and buzzed one time, daring the trainer to have his pokemon attack him.
The wild Combee flew over the Chingling and released a sweet scent, then flew back towards the tree it had attacked. He turned around and was stationery, while he seemed to laugh again at the Chingling. Bee, bee! The Combee was mocking the trainer and the pokemon.

The Combee was beginning to agiatate Jayjack. The wind it created as it flew made her long, black hair flutter. She tied it up neatly and narrowed her eyes. If you knew Jayjack, you knew what this meant. "That's enough," she said, annoyed. Jayjack flicked Chee-chan's head. Chee-chan slowly snapped out of the mesmerization of the sweet scent. "Chee-chan, hypnosis!" The Chingling used hypnosis, directing it at the Combee by the tree.
ooc// I dunno how the egg and parents thingamabobber works. When I got Chingling, it said the father was a Gengar or something so it knows how to use hypnosis, but how does a Gengar make a Chingling egg?

Combee fluttered his wings as the hypnosis attack came straight for him, but he was still quicker. He waited until the drowsy waves almost hit him, then he let himself drop two feet, and he remained idle again.
Combee! The little bee pokemon teases. He wasn't really trying to battle, just trying to prove that he was nearly impossible to catch. The Combe smiled as he flew over the trainer's head one more time, releasing another sweent scent. He loved to have fun, and was pretty much just a joker all the way around. He flew back to the tree, apparently his home, or maybe home away from home, and watched the trainer and the Chingling, laughing the whole time for his prank to take action.

Jayjack held her breath, signaling for Chee-chan to do the same. (If a Chingling breathes...) As her oxygen was running out, she ran to a spot that was further away and took a breath deep. The air had no sweet scent in it. "I /will/ catch you!" Jayjack called to the Combee. Turning to her own Pokemon, she whispered, "Get as close as you can. Then, use hypnosis." A point-blank shot could never miss.

The Combee laughed as it watched the two hold their breath to avoid the sweet scent attack, and started giggling almost uncontrollably. Eyes shut, he was unaware of another attack coming towards him, and he was off his guard when the waves hit him. Com---bee
The Combee yawned, but refused to fall asleep yet. He shook his whole body to fight the drowsiness overtaking him, however hard it may have been. Combee slowly whiskes his wings to stir up a small gust, and directed it towards the Chingling, hoping it would be enough to cause a little bit of damage before the sleep overcame him.

Jayjack could not help but grin as the Combee became half-asleep. She'd never let anyone get the best of her. When the Combee managed to stir up an attack, Jayjack's smile turned upside down (Cliche! xD). The gust hit Chee-chan, and sent the Pokemon tumbling back. Jayjack was not the slightest bit worried. "Chee-chan, you're stronger than that," she said, unfazed. The Chingling got up and nodded. Seeing that her Pokemon was okay, Jayjack took out a Pokeball from her starter pack and chucked it at the Combee.

The Combee tried to move out of the way of the flying pokeball, but she was too tired to move. He also tried to fight the power of the pokeball and escape, but he fell asleep before the pokeball was done trying. The Combee was successfully caught! Name: You Choose Gender: Male Level: 10 Attacks: Gust, Sweet Scent ------------------------------------------------------- Hearing the ping of a pokeball, a wild pidgey decided to investigate. He usually didn't venture out onto the path, but this time, curiosity got the best of him. When he landed in a tree close to the path, he looked down and saw a Chingling, a trainer, and the source of the mysterious noise - a pokeball. So, the trainer had just caught a Pokémon. It must be pretty talented to catch a Pokémon. The Pidgey was reluctant about getting closer, but he wanted to test the trainer's skills, so he swooped down and landed on the path right in front of the trainer. Pidgey!A wild Pidgey appears!

Jayjack bent down and picked up the Pokeball. Her grin widened. She patted Chee-chan on the head, meaning to thank her. The Chingling made contented chime noises. Turning to the Pokeball in her hand, Jayjack said, "I think I might call you... Joker-chan." It was quite a fitting name, really. The Combee seemed to be a natural prankster. Suddenly, a Pidgey appeared before her. Jayjack groaned. "Another one? What, am I going to get a whole team of Pokemon today?!" She tossed the Combee's Pokeball into the air. Joker-chan came forth, Chee-chan right behind. They faced the wild Pokemon. Two on one.

{OOC: Sorry, I forgot to post it in the reply before} Chingling gains a level for defeating the Combee!
BIC:
The Pidgey looked confused as the Combee suddenly appeared from the pokeball. It almost immediately realized that he was being double-teamed. Pidgey! The wild Pidgey grew angry, and wished that he had had better control over his curiosity.
Though it was too late to try to escape now, he started kicking up dust and flapping his wings so that the sand would hit the two pokemon he was battling, sand-attack. The Pidgey chirped as he kicked up the dirt and warned the pokemon to leave him alone, and though he knew it was no use, he still tried. He could probably easily finish off one of the pokemon, but with both, he stood no chance.

At the Pidgey's outrage, Jayjack grew discouraged. The overkill-loving, cold Jayjack was showing mercy. "Eh, I don't really /need/ a Pidgey," she pondered. Joker-chan and Chee-chan stood still and watched their trainer expectantly, waiting for a command. Joker-chan was grinning mischievously, ready to show off. Chee-chan was playing with her tail thingamabobbers innocently. "Well, back to your Pokeballs," Jayjack said, and pressed the button on two Pokeballsthat made the Chingling and Combee return. To the Pidgey, she said, "It's unlikely that you'd want to, but you can come with us.

{OOC: It would be easier to keep track of your pokemon and items if you just keep a link to your PC and have all your pokemon in there, their stats and all. I think that's what you're supposed to do, anyway. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to have your pokemon listed in your siggy, but it's easier anyway to just have your PC link. =D} BIC:
The pidgey looked on to the trainer in awe, wondering why she withdrew her pokemon. Maybe she didn't want to fight. He wasn't accustomed to the human language, and so he had no idea what the trainer said, but he waited to see if the trainer would show him what she meant. The Pidgey fluttered his wings and his little body shook right along. Pi, pi!

Ooc// Right now, I'm on my iTouch's internet so I can't do anything about it... xD
Jayjack turned to the direction in which the first town would be and walked forward. She had no time to waste. But looking over her shoulder she motioned for the Pidgey to follow, but did not wait for it. She just continued to go her own way. First off, I'll need a luxury ball, Jayjack thought. When I see a Zangoose, it's the only ball I'll use to catch it. She was completely absorbed in her own thoughts, something that always happened when she thought about Zangeese/Zangooses.

{OOC: It's up to you, of course, but it would be better if you would battle a couple of pokemon, whether or not you catch them, that way your Pokémon can level up and be able to beat the gym leader =D} BIC: The Pidgey watched the trainer, and realized that she wanted him to follow, maybe to join them. The Pidgey shook his feathers at the idea, and flew away, he had no intentions of being caught, and if he ever was, he wasn't going to go willingly. He would know better next time than to investigate every odd noise he heard. -------------------------------- Two proud Pokémon hid in a bush as the trainer and her Pokémon walked by, and pondored on the idea of startling them for a battle. Both were quite brave, though one was riskier than the other. The riskier one jumped out of the bush, not waiting for his friend, and squealed threateningly. His friend jumped out after him, and made a sort of hissing sound that sounded almost like a squeak. They were both ready for battle, and wouldn't take no for an answer. ::Rattata:: A wild Rattata appears!A wild Zigzagoon appears!
