Skye nodded and walked away from the Duduo. She walked past it and looked down at the water type pokemon. “Almost got into trouble.” She chuckled. Her green eyes sparkled. “That has to be the longest I’ve walked down a path without getting into trouble.” She smiled. “Last time I walked down a path, I got right into trouble. Today, I saw three pokemon before I get into trouble.” She have a light giggle.

The Corphish looked right up at Skye, a little puzzled by her actions but refused to comment about it. It had assumed that she would get upset at it like a mother would at its child, but this didn't seem to be the case. At least it wasn't as depressed anymore.
<Now I'm really glad I came with you.> The Corphish commented with a bright smile, truly enjoying the trip despite its small injuries from earlier. Things became smoothly for awhile, until the group had to go up their first hill. A steep one at that.
<How do we...? Do we...? We have to climb this thing?> The Water type exclaimed, half crying in its mind from how exhausting the work would be. It would really be awful if they had to do this, and more than once!

Skye smiled. "I'm glad you came too." She saw the hill and started to climb, pausing, turning around, and seeing that the Corphish wouldn't be able to climb it. She walked back down the hill and bent down, picking up the pokemon. "Here," She set it on her backpack and walked up the hill. "I have to climb it, you can just sit on my backpack." She walked up the hill, glad to carry the pokemon. She could see she would have to help the corphish a lot if she were to make it to the end of the road in a few days.

<Why thank you my lady," The Corphish replied as Skye picked it up gently. "I hope I'm not too much of a bother to you,> The Corphish added as it glanced over into Skye's direction. It seem to have been enjoying the ride of the girl's backpack.

Skye smiled. "Tis fine," She continued up the hill untill she go to the top. "Now, we go down." She walked down the hill, much faster than going up the hill, easier than up the hill nto as much work. Skye walked a little faster, there was a small breeze rushing past them.

The Corphish chuckled to itself as they made their way down the hill. By staying up on Skyes back, it became like a roller coaster for Pokemon, the air rushing by its face, and the speed of the whole ride. <Thanks! Um, you don't mind if I keep staying up here? > It asked, reluctant to hop down from the comfort of her backpack just yet. They had really picked up on the pace to the pond, and it was able to get a good view of it from where they were. Meanwhile, a Bidoof that was relaxing near one of the mini pond's edges perked up at the sounds of approaching footsteps. Though not directly to it, they were nearby. Enough to make the Normal type feel worried, and afraid. It had much puffier fur than most Bidoof, so it was obvious to a person that it was a male. His eyes brightened when he saw the shiny red shell of the Coprhish, looking very tasty tot he Bidoof. The shell was the most appealing, since he had a sudden urge to gnaw on any hard surface. Running towards the two, it attempted to jump onto Skye's backpack, growling with its teeth barred at the Water type. He failed miserably, falling to the ground with a thump. <Need...the shell...> He hissed, his instincts flaring from his sudden needs. The Coprhish was alerted to the danger at once, and squealed in fright from the sight of the Bidoofs large fangs.

Skye smiled at the Corphish. “Sure, you can stay up there.” She walked down by the mini ponds until the normal type came around. “Oh, hey.” She backed away from the Bidoof. “You don’t want the pokemon.” She told it, still trying to keep it from hurting the Corphish. Pulling out a pokeball from her pocket, Skye backed away from the Bidoff, and into the mini pond. “Ah!” She cried as she splashed into the water, dropping the pokeball in the process. A Houdour jumped out and growled at the Bidoff. +Take one step closer and I’ll eat you.+ A beaver looking pokemon sounded yummy right now.

The Corphish shouted at Skye to try and warn her about the pond, but found itself screaming out of surprise instead. It wasn't in that much pain, having landed awkwardly on a rock, with all of its legs dangling up in the air. It slowly let its body slide down from the rock, and with a dazed expression looked up at the girl. She looked completely soaked, but it couldn't tell if she was okay or not. With a small limp, the Water type made its way over to the human girl, gently tapping her on the head to see if she was conscious.
The Bidoof on the other hand showed no remorse for the soaked duo in the water, for it was about to make a dive down into the lake to get a bite outta the Corphish. His antics were halted at once at the sight of the fearsome Houndour, flinching only slightly he growled right back. His instincts just craved to have something to bite on, and maybe this Houndour would make a nice chew toy. That was when he randomly charged forward at the Fire type with a Tackle.

When the Corphish tapped Skye on the head, she only mumbled and shifted slightly. She seemed to be knocked out; a big purple bruise had started to form where her head hit a rock. The Houndour didn’t bother to see if Skye was awake, he just jumped right into the battle. Preparing for the Tackle, He snarled at the Bidoof. Hep jumped at the Bidoof as it tackled him, he was close so he sent out an Ember attack. +I like my meat cooked.+ He growled at the pokemon.

Part of the Bidoof's fur became singed from the close contact of the Fire attacks, the attack feeling liek a bunch of hot coals that were sinking onto its skin. Bucking up in the air like a Ponyta, the Bidoof shook off the attack with a yelp. Despite the Houndour's fearsome looks, it was quite the scary demon itself.
Curling its body into a protective shield, the Bidoof used a Defense Curl in case the Houndour tried to attack it again. At least with its body's defenses rising, it would be able to last longer in the battle if Hep used phsysical attacks. It seemed like the Bidoof was done with all action, had it not began rolling towards the Houndour with increasing speed. A Rollout, that was heading right for Hep.

Skye was still lying on the ground not really moving, but still breathing. She didn't look as if she'd be getting up anytime soon. Hep started barking at the Bidoof. +Come on rat, give me your best!+ He let out a long Howl before the Bidoof attacked with Rollout, hitting him. This angered Hep, very deeply. He jumped away from the Bidoff and let out a Smog attack, trying to poison the normal type. Hep snarled at the pokemon, his eyes dark.

The thin poisonous gases were absorbed into the Bidoofs body, though not completely harmful when in the short dose that it had breathed in. After all, the fast spinning that it was doing was actually blowing away most of the gas. Minimal damage received, the normal type still growled with agitation.
Hep's attitude was leaving an undesired effect on the normal type, and was quickly getting angrier by the second. Charging ahead with a speedier and stronger force, it let out another Rollout.
The Corphish whimpered to itself as the girl laid on the rocks, motionless. Only her chest rose up and down continuously, which it guessed was a good sign. A sign of life at least, but it had feared the worst. What if she was in some kind of coma?!
<Sorry, this hurts me than it will hurt you!> It exclaimed with a sudden sense of guilt as it clamped Skye's limp hand. The amount of pressure put on her hand was unknown, but it was defiantly stronger than its last attempt due to its worry and reckless nature.

Hep snarled at the pokemon. He wouldn't let the rat win. He let out another howl and let the Bidoof attack him, before letting out an Ember attack, maybe he could cook the little pokemon for dinner. Hep had started to notice he was very hungry. +Oh, the Bidoof started to look like a nice treat. hep's eyes became hungry and he started to smiled. +Dinner is searved!+ He Howled.

Not backing down from the fearsome Houndour, the Bidoof grunting through Hep's constant threats. Nothing was going to bring this beaver down! Not even the Ember, which almost threw its entire attack off balance.
Still in the rolled up position, the Bidoof began to build up more power and speed. Choosing to do it in the simplest way possible, it circled around Hep like a vulture, except without the solemn gloom. If there was any background to suit the scene, it would surely be fast paced before it charged ahead with another Rollout.

Hep was ready, it seemed the Bidoof was only doing Rollout as it's attack. Hep watched the pokemon, then jumped away she the Roolout came closer to him. He let out a sharp bark and then attacked with Leer; after he'd finished that, he sent out another Smog attack, maybe he could poison the Bidoof then burn the little beaver thing. Skye started to stir as she Corphish clamped down on her hand, she sat up and pulled her hand away. "Ow.." She muttered and looked around, trying to see what was happening.

<Oh! Goodness your awake! I was so worried!> The Coprhish cried as it quickly let go of the girls hand and glomped her. Making small coo's as it did so, before looking up to see what she was so concentrated on. Oh, that was right. A mean looking Bidoof was still out there fighting one of the girl's Pokemon.
<I hope that Houndour wins.> The water type muttered, sticking its toungue out at the Bidoof as the Smog attack filled the area. Sinking into its fur much easier as the Leer attack aided the poisonous gases to work easier. Comming to a halt, the normal type slowly uncurled its body with a nausous face. Poisoning was a success! Except it still had the ability to attack. Feeling sick, it let out a weak Growl while resisting the urge to throw up. Containing the urge, it gave a much more determined, but weak, look at Hep. Down but not out, it began to use a Tackle on the canine Pokemon.

Skye nodded and smiled as the Corphish juped on her. "Yeah," She blinked and tried to figure out what Hep should do, but he seemed to be getting along just fine. Right then, Hep was letting out a sharp Howl as the Bidoof let out its Growl. Hep wasn't going to let this beaver thign win. He'd fight till he died. Hep smiled, Tackle, perfect. Hep let the Bidoof tackle him, then he let out an Ember attack. +You know, some gases are flamable.+ He told the Bidoof.

<What gases?> The Bidoof muttered as the powerful Ember struck its fuzzy head, parts of the flame exploding into the air on contact. At least the fire wouldn't spread onto its fur this time, but the damage was still made.
Dwindling health made the Bidoof give a weary breath of air as it jumped away from the Houndour. Staring at it with the most threatening eyes it could give, but another jolt of poisoning had reached its head, and it was beginning to feel dizzy. Now the beaver was visibly tired, for it was breathing out loud. Too weak to do much of anything else, it went in for a Defense Curl.

Hep smiled. What gas? Maybe Hep was confused. He growled and walked up to the Bidoof. +Stupid pokemon.+ He snapped, then let out a long Howl and another Ember attack. +Maybe I'll be having cooked beaver after all.+ He flashed his sharp fangs and let out a rippling snarl. Skye blinked, she knew hep was mean, but he seemed even more mean in battle. She looked down at the Corphish. "Are you laright?" She asked it. Skye had no idea if the water type got hurt or aything like that.

The Water type sheepishly nodded as it sat close by to the dazed trainer, being dazed itself with Hep's cruel nature. How such a Pokemon become in the possesion of a girl like her, it didn't know. Must have some kind of story for the two to get along, for they seemed like opposites.
<I'm fine...Because at least I didn't pass out.> It noted, giving another careful look at the girl to make sure that she was really alright before watching the battle. Wasn't she supposed to be giving orders or something? Well, she was the expert.
The combinded forces of Ember and Howl were just enough to push the Bidoof past its limits, all hope and faith in the battle seemed to escape the Bidoof with a single breath. The sickening feeling of the poison helping to speed up the fainting process by bringing it down to its knees, with a pant the Pokemon fainted in a sitting position.
Hep gains a level. Capture?
