Jay was a very determined pokemon and he refused to succumb to the Surskit. +Never, I'll never!+ He snarled, flashing his sharp teeth. He tried to rufuse the Sweet Sent, but slowly, and unwillingly, his will power wavered. he stood there for a second and watched the Surskit, she was beautiful. Skye shook her head and snapped at Jay. "Snap out of it Jupiter!!" She snarled. "Jay, Bite!" Jay blinked for a moment then nodded and rufusingly, ran towards the water type. Skye then turned to the Corpish and tapped it's shell. "Come on, snap out of it!" She snapped at it. She didn't have time for this! Skye picked the pokemon up and looked it straight in the eyes. "Snap out, the spider wants to eat you!!" She spat in it's face.

The Surskit watched in amusement as Jay dashed through the pond's waters, that was, until she realized how persistent he was. Even while soaking wet, the Shinx was still taking a snap at her long and thin legs. Giving a tiny squeak of surprise, she narrowly let her front leg escape his mighty canines. Of course, it was then that her other leg was snapped at, and she found herself slowly get pulled under water from the electric type's weight. His force was greater than the oil on her feet, after all.
The urge to run was the only thing on her mind, but she wouldn't do it without one heck of a fight. Excreting extra oil, she managed to use the pond's surface to her advantage. Staying afloat, she used a Quick Attack on Jay to try and shake him off.

Jay growled, keeping his hold, he wouldn't let go until he was forced to, which he was. When the Surskit pulled the Quick Attack on him, Jay cried in alarm and let go. he stumbled around for a second then growled and stepped into the water again. "Jay, Charge and dodge anything that comes your way." Skye commanded, and looked back towards the corphish that was in the daze... still. Jay kept his sharp eyes on the Surskit, he'd let that spider know who's the boss around here.

The Surskit gave a smirk as soon as the Shinx's grip was finally overthrown, and the fact that he was flung away was even more than she had expected. Even with the dangerous sparks that danced around Jay, she couldn't help but keep that expression on her face as she looked at Skye.
<How can he dodge, when under my spell?> She hissed, rising to her hind legs as her two front limbs began to move around mysteriously. Was in an attack? Now it was, as another Sweet Scent filled the area. Settling down to all fours, she gave a flirtatious wink at the Shinx, just for the dramatic effect.
By then, it was all over for the Corphish. The moment it saw her flirting with Jay, its expression sank. Suddenly it wasn't the center of the Surskit's attention, and turned around to sulk. Though to it, it was even worse than before. To anyone else, it might be an improvement.

Skye rolled her eyes in frustration. "Jay, spark." She commanded. "Come on Corphish, see she doesn't want you, but I do, I like you." She told the water type. Jay gave the Surskit a sad smile and ran towards the Surskit with his charged Spark attack. +I'm sorry,+ He told her. Skye shook her head. "Jay, don't be sorry, she's tryng to hurt you!!!" Skye snapped.

The Surskit's eyes widened as she watched the Shinx come closer and closer with the Spark attack. Was there even a chance for her to get away? It looked so dangerous, so powerful...Even from where she stood she could feel herself tingling with the static of the attack, conducted byt he water around her.
She was too busy worrying about it in her thougths that she couldn't react properly, and was sent flying into the air from the super charged attack. Her fragile body ended up sinking into the water below with a splash. Thankfully she was a water type, and had gills. So when she came up, her eyes were in swirls. Fainted, but alive.
Jay gains a level. Capture?
The Corphish took its time in thinking over Skye's words. Like a child that didn't know what it was about to eat, and was about to take a very. tiny. peice. Sourly, the water type looked at the fainted Surskit on the pool. It couldn't help but feel guilty about the whole thing, but, Skye did have a point. It knew her longer than it knew the beautiful Surskit.
<I-I guess I like you too...> The Corphish was having a hard time saying those words, because its face turned a bright red as the emotions slipped right out. A very good sign that it was feeling better about the whole thing.

Jay smiled as he tackled the Surskit. He jumped back to Skye and smiled. +I did good right?+ He jumped around her till she answered. "Yep, beautifully." Skye called Jay back and turned to the Corphish. "Come on, let's go back to sleep." She shoved the pokeball back in her pocket and looked at the Surskit. She didn't really want it, so she left it. She smiled down at the Corphish and picked up her backpack, only to set it down again for the Corphish to climb on. "Want a lift?" She asked. Their 'camp' wasn't very far, but you never know.

The Corphish gave a nod as it scuttled over tot he backpack, finding a nice perch on it through the rough material. Of course, that didn't mean it wasn't comfortable. It was also a plus that its sharp feet didn't poke holes through the fabric, which it would've done unintentionally. <I'm on!> It announced, chuckling to itself as it waiting for Skye to swing the backpack up into the air. Like some type of game, or roller coaster perhaps. Its claws were tightly clamped onto the straps of the backpack as it looked up into the skies. It was really beginning to get dark now, but it wasn't worried. Unlike some of the other wild Pokémon in the area. Almost immediately a shadowy figure was dashing between blades of tall grass, its paws leaving deep imprints in the damp ground. Its well camouflaged fur went perfectly with the tall grass along the pond and its tiny streams. As soon as it came out into the open, it gasped at the sight of the tall figure in the distance. Skye was fairly far away, but it was able to see her silhouette, and she could probably see it. Sensitive and fearful by nature,t he Pokemon's fur began to bristle to put up a terrifying appearance. If she came any closer, then it would attack.

Skye swung the backpack onto her back and walked towards their camp. She couldn't see the Zigzagoon against the darkness, so she didn't know that it was bristling it's fur. She just walked over to their camp and set her backpack down by the pair of rolled up jeans for the Corpish. "Here, let's res treally quikc, then we'll continue on." She smiled at the Corphish and stretched, thinking about it, Skye was getting really tired. Her green eyes started to close and she started to drift to sleep, unaware of the pokemon near them.

The Corphish grinned as the sight of the camp came closer and closer to them, and was much too excited about taking a nice, long rest there to notice the Zigzagoon. It was rather far away, so a break was perfect. Hopping off of the backpack, it checked the sky up above. It was really getting dark, no wonder Skye was so eager for a rest. Unfortunately, it was wide awake, so instead it mingled around the tree. Trying its best to occupy itself while letting Skye have a peaceful nap.
The Zigzagoon felt its body huddle closer to the ground as it watched the two settle down next to a tree. No longer was it fearful, though it had the right to be weary of any stranger, it couldn't help but feel curious about them. So curious, that it wanted to investigate. With one asleep, it wouldn't be much of a problem. It approached with extreme stealth, its brown and white fur blending in with the darkness. As soon as it reached the trunk of the tree, it began sniffing the ground, not noticing the Corphish th at was right behind it.
<Uhh...What're you doing?> It asked with a blank stare, not thinking that the Pokémon would be a threat, since it was smaller than it. In reply, the Zigzagoon let out a soft gasp as goosebumps ran all over its back, turning around with hesitant eyes to face the water type.
<I-I'm...Not doing anything. What're you doin'?> It countered, following the Corphish's whispers. Both fearful of waking the human girl, but with total silence all around them, it would be hard not to wake up.

Skye was a deep sleeper, so when the two pokemon started to talk, she only stirred a little before becoming still. She didn't move for sometime after that untill she rolled over and her hand hit a rock, startled, she woke up and looked around only to see the Corphish and the Zigzagoon talking. "Oh, sorry to disrupt you." She muttered. Skye shifted into a sitting position and yawned, she was still tired but wouldn't be able to get back to sleep for a while. The silence around them was eery, far too quiet, even for night, there should be some pokemon moving around, well the night ones at least.

The Zigzagoon almost made a back flip when Skye woke up with a startled look on her face, and sighed with a heavy pant when it realized that no harm would come to it. The Corphish chuckled at the raccoon's behavior, and gave it a comforting pat on the back.
<First time seeing a human? They're nice, or at least she is. > The Corphish commented with a smile, sitting down comfortable on the slightly damp grass. The Zigzagoon matching its motions, except staying especially tense.
<That's not why I'm like that...Don'tcha know? Pokémon around here are slowly disappearing. No one knows why, just that they disappear at night, and never return. I don't want to be next, I advise you to be careful too.> the Zigzagoon explained, its eyes shifting around nervously, as if expecting a bird to come down and swoop it into the air.

Skye held back a laugh as the Zigzagoon jumped. "Yeah, I'm nice." She winked at the Corphish. "No, I'm really mean, I like to attack pokemon, mostly Normal types." She glanced at the Zigzagoon and shifted her position. Her face fell into discomfort as the Normal type told her friend to be careful. It was mostly humans that were taking pokemon, and Skye was a human. She took pokemon, but usually only if they were mean or wanted to come along.

The Corphish tilted its head in naive confusion as Skye started making jokes about herself. Mummuring a small 'Cooorrrr?' as it finally figured out that she was only being silly. Smirking to itself, it glanced at the Zigzagoon to see its reaction, but the normal type only looked a bit ticked off. Not scared, or anything of the sort.
<Very funny. But, seriously...I'm warning both of you to be careful. It would be bad luck wandering around here at night.> The Zigzagoon whispered, before glancing up at the dark sky. Crap! It was already going against its own advice.
<So, does that mean that your gonna stick with us? If you don't want to 'wander around' at night.> The Corphish asked, while the Zigzagoon thought it over. True, that it didn't want to get stolen away into the darkness. But weren't strangers bad at the same time?
<Probably not. I have to get home sometime.> It mumbled, shuffling its feet around in the damp grass. It was used to the moist feeling beneath its feet, but it couldn't help but frown about it. Its need for its home was only growing worse.

Skye smirked at teh Zigzagoon. "Now we don't need to be hypocritical of ourselves." She muttered. The Zigzagoon was smart to follow it's own advice. "We can walk you home, make sure nothing bad attacks or eats you." She glanced down at the Corphish. Her bright green eyes searched for any pokemon that might jump out and try to hurt them. "Corphish here has almost been eaten twice, right." She smiled. "Just my little magnet for trouble." She tapped it softly on it's back.

The Corphish put on a look of anger as it waved Skyes hand away, muttering 'yeah, yeah' under its breath before giving the Zigzagoon an expectant look. After all, they had to know which way to go! Its beady eyes rolled themselves as the raccoon Pokémon trotted past the Corphish, its wet nose pointing past a clearing and into a series of bushes. Unfortunately for Skye, it was in the opposite direction that they were heading in. Not that it minded, since she was the one that offered. <Over there. Careful though, I'd hate to see you disappear behind my back.> It cautioned for one last time before slowly going out into the open field. Kricketots were oddly silent at this time of night, their melodic humming usually echoing in the background. The Corphish sent a teasing smile to Skye as it charged ahead. Trying to get in front of the normal type, but it seemed stubborn enough to keep going at the pace that it was traveling at. <Come on! I'm getting old here.> The Corphish whined, walking ahead of the Zigzagoon, but scuttling back wards as it did so. The Zigzagoon was indifferent to the water types complaints, but instead glance up into the sky to make sure that nothing would eat it. <Foolish Corphish...> It muttered with disgust. The water type was a bit far away to even notice the rude comment when a flapping of wings could be heard from up above. The Zigzagoon paled at once and ran straight to the Corphish for cover, but it was too late. As soon as it was heard, it was grabbed into the skies by a dark black bird. A mischievous face and a witches hat to top it off. Level: 12 Attacks: Peck, Astonish, Pursuit, Haze The Zigzagoon struggled against her strong grip, but she was very intent on taking this prized meal to her master. If she was lucky, perhaps she could even feast on the scraps! Now that would be lucky, wouldn't it? Meanwhile, the Corphish was in a panic to try and get it down, but there was nothing that it could do except... <SKYE! HELPPPP!> It shouted, jumping into the air and pointing frantically at the sky up above. The Murkow seemed invisible from down below, but the Zigzagoon was easy to spot among the blackness of the night.

Skye ran ahead of the two but didn't see the bird that picked up Corphish untill she was screamed at. "Corphish!!" Skye cried. She fixed her eyes on the skye and threw out a pokeball. "Ere" Super Sonic!!" She screamed. The Zubat let out a sound wave and spotted the bird, then let out his Super Sonic attack. +Zu, Zu!+ He cried as he flew toaways the dark type.

((It took the Zigzagoon, not the Corphish. ^^' ))
The Mukrow took a glance at the flying Pokemon behind her and cursed in her head, how the heck could she do her job with something following her? Growling to herself, the dark type dove low to the ground to gently drop the Zigzagoon before heading back up to take care of the Zubat.
Unluckily, she ran right into the confuse-inducing soundwaves. When they came from a higher leveled Pokemon, the sounds made it even worse for her to handle. Soon she was flying and squacking around in a daze. Making a loop in the air, she flew straight down and narrowly missed Skye's head by inches before flying back up.
During this type of confusion, the bird was creating a murky black smokescreen that filled the area. It was a Haze, but wether she was doing this to be smart, or doing it out on impulse was left to her to decide.

(Right, read it wrong)
Skye screamed as the Zigzagoon dropped. She rushed forwards towards the Corphish and the zigzagoon. "You alright?" She asked it before looking up to see the Murkow almost hit her. Screaming yet again she covered her head and looked again. "Oh, I can't see anything." She cursed. Luckly Ere was dong fine, he couldn't see so it didn't matter tht there was a Haze. +Zu, Zu!+ He cried once more before sending out another screetch to find the bird. He launched himself at her with a Leech Life. Why not try and steal some life while he's at it?

The Corphish was right next to the Zigzagoon as Skye came forward, placing a comforting claw on its back while saying soothing words to it. The Zigzagoon was absolutely terrified, huddling close together with the water type, unable to speak from its close call with life and death.
<I think it'll be alright...Just needs a breather.> The Corphish noted to her just as the Murkrow whizzed on by, its eyes widened in response, but said nothing.
With the flying wonder, the Murkrow cursed out loud when she realized her mistake. The Zubat wasn't phased in the least, probably because it couldn't see. Dang those blind bats, always having a trick up their sleeve!
His speed made him catch up to her as she flew up higher and higher to avoid the damage, but couldn't help but cry out at the Leech Life. The flying type in her didn't mind it, but the darkness in her was screaming and hissing. It was utter confusion for the Murkrow as she started Pecking at Ere. Trying to unhinge him as she kept an unsteady flight in the night sky.
