There were simply too many Swords Dance moves to keep up with, the Eevee's stance looking more powerful by the second. Even his muscles seemed to be standing out, something that the Stantler couldn't help but notice with a twinge of disgust. But why should he worry about that when his buddy was about to get the beating of his life?! And Jalance was smiling about it? Seriously, this was messed up.
'Maybe he gave up....Not that I put up much of an effort trying to break the two up.' It thought with a stubborn shake of his head, missing the final blow to the battle as Chaos slammed the Dustox into the ground. Paws right on his throat as the Dustox let out a weak groan, trying to figure out what happened and why his body became so weak.
<Ohh....my stomach...> The Dustox rested his head against the ground, letting out a weak sigh as swirls filled his eyes. He gave up, so what? Some opponents were simply too powerful to fight against, and it wasn't as if he trained himself a lot in the art of battling.
<I-I'll take it from here. You okay, Dusty?> The Stantler excused himself from the sidelines and onto the battlefield. Giving him a weak nudge with his nose in order to help the bug Pokemon onto his feet, and leaning low to the ground. It would carry Dustox home as long as he stayed awake long enough to lead the way. But at this rate, the duo appeared as if they would be fine for now.
Chaos gains a level. What will you do now?

"Nice job Chaos, even though I told you not to attack, but we'll take care of that later," Jalance replied taking out red and white sphere from his belt. <Fine then, be that way, I don't care!> Chaos replied with a smart tone of voice, but within a flash the Shadow Eevee disappeared into a bright red aura. "I"m sorry about that Stantler, I'm still working on his behavior," Jalance explained to the Dustox with a half smile on his face.
"I hope your friend will still help lead us to your home," He sighed walking over to check on the Dustox, he seemed to be okay so far. "Okay, we better try and hurry before anything or anyone else tries to stop us from getting home, and I'm sure that your parents are really worried about you," he added, walking for the pokemon to lead the way.

<Of course they’re worried. Actually…I was supposed to be looking for you. But, as you can see…Sidetracked.> The Dustox chuckled weakly, the Stantler rolling its eyes from its pals funny nature. Every now and then, the Dustox would give a weak pull on the Stantlers fur, forcing him to walk in that direction until they finally made their destination. Two tall Stantlers rushed to their child, embracing it with thankful eyes at Jalance and the Dustox for helping their child.
<I’m afraid we don’t have much to give…But we wish you a safe trip back.> The couple announced with bowed heads. Though they were a little curious about Dustox’s new wounds, but they didn’t question it. They simply knew him too well. <Thanks again mister!> The younger Stantler chimed, grabbing a couple of Sitrus berries from a nearby tree and handing it to him.
You’ve received 3 Sitrus Berries

As Jalance continued to follow the Stantler and Dustox, he soon noticed to taller Stantlers rushing over to their child, Jalance was a little nervous, but quickly overcame that once he noticed that they weren't to concerned about him being around.
"Not worry about it, I'm just happy that I was able to help," Jalance replied, taking a clever guess that the couple of thanking him for helping their child seeing that they bowed their heads. Jalance smiled as the baby Stantler made his way back over to him, also thinking him by giving him some berries. "It was nothing little guy," he stated rubbing the Stantler head gently. "I'm going to miss you, but I'm sure that we'll meet again, until then please be safe," he added, pulling his hand away from the deer pokemon, and stuffing the berries into his pack.
"See you guys later, and thank you for the berries!" Jalance shouted out as he continued to make his way along the path. Maybe a pokemon or a trainer would be waiting up ahead of him.

Further along the wooded path, a large yellow pokémon sat quietly, watching as it moved a Pinecone along the ground with it's mind. It was very odd looking, a moustache trailing from it's lip and a strange lower body, with a brown tail. It was holding a rusty bent spoon in one of it's hand, and had a star on it's head. It looked thoroughly dejected, and looked as if it hadn't moved in days. On closer inspection, the usually leaf strewn floor was cleared of all debris in front of the Kadabra, and there was a veritable mountain of pinecones, acorns, leaves and other forest floor lining behind it.
::kadabra::
Wanna go check it out?

As Jalance continued along the path of the Forest he soon came across a very unique Pokemon, that seem to be moving a Pinecone with it's mystical mind. However, Jalance wasn't sure if the Kadabra was picking with the Pinecone or either just playing around with it, so he just decided to walk over and check things out.
"Hello," Jalance greeted calmly with a half smile on his face. "Excuse me, but what are you doing?" He asked curiously looking over at the mountain of forest items, and then back over to the Psychic Pokemon.

Kadabra barely noticed as the Trainer walked over to him and greeted him, he was just to traumatised. The spoon in his left hand drooped, as if it was made of paper.
"Excuse me, but what are you doing?"
At this the Kadabra looked up, the most movement he had done for days. But he did not respond, for he knew the human couldn't understand unless they made a telekinetic conection. On closer inspection, on the area of ground that Kadabra had cleared were the signs of a scuffle. And old one, to be sure, but a fight nonetheless. Also, a broken and discarded Pokéball lay next to the psychic type. There were bloodstains on the ground too.
Finally, Kadabra had a peice of string around it's kneck, with a tooth attatched to it. It was very odd, and looked like something made by a human, not a Pokémon...

"Hey, why aren't you talking to me?" Jalance asked curiously still studying the Kadabra carefully, he was really starting to get a little irritated with the Psychic Pokemon. However, Jalance soon noticed the signs of a scuffle. "I really wonder what's going on around here," he whispered to himself as he walked over to get a better look at the broken Pokeball and the bloodstains that cover the ground.
A small emotion of fear soon started to flow around inside of Jalance's body as he took a deep breathe. While trying to calm himself down, Jalance looked back over into the direction of the Kadabra and slowly walked over at it as the unique string necklace capture his sight. "What is this, and where did you get it?" He asked softly, touching the tooth gently.

The Kadabra was quick to react to Jalance’s human touch, the last thing that he wanted at the moment. Swiping away his hand with one of his own, the Kadabra glared at the teenager. That was only his weakest Knock Off attack, a move that Kadabra couldn’t learn normally unless they had special Pokémon Breeders. But could Jalance recognize that? He doubted it, but with all of the signs surrounding him all of the clues pointed to one thing.
At one point in his life, he was in contact with a human. In reality, it was more than just ‘one point’. It was since he hatched from an egg, being raised by this one humans caring touch. Until what had happened recently.
<Leave…now…> The Kadabra hoarsely managed to speak, weariness in his eyes as he managed to keep his body up for a couple of seconds before falling to the ground. He looked completely starved of food, and with all of the excitement his body couldn’t keep up with it all.

Jalance quickly jumped back from the effects of the Knock Off attack, the attack really didn't hurt him, but it did startle him badly. "Wow, was that a Knock Off attack?" Jalance asked looking over at the Kadabra, he did learn a little bit back in his own Pokémon school, and one of those classes was about Breeding, and egg moves.
"No, I'm not leaving!" Jalance shouted back, quickly getting strong headed like he did most of the time when it comes to helping a Pokémon out in need. Keeping his keen eyes upon the Psychic pokemon, only wanted to make Jalance run over to the weary swiftly, but he decided that it would be the best thing to do right now. So, after taking a few seconds to think of a plan, he soon pulled from a pokeball from his chained belt. " Nevaeh, I need your help!" He cooed, tossing the pokeball into the air, which soon released a regal Celebi. "Use Heal Bell!" Jalance ordered, hoping that the attack would relax the Kadabra enough for him to help it out.
Nevaeh fluttered around both Jalance and the Kadabra gracefully before the smoothing sounds of bells filled the forest from a few feet away.

The legendary Pokémon’s soft chime like calls released pulsating waves that went right through the Kadabra’s body. At first he didn’t know what was going on until his eyes gained the energy to open up, and low and behold, there was a Celebi right before his eyes. It was a species that he himself had never seen up close before, but he had heard the legend of Celebi, and her ability to travel through time. The Heal Bell worked just long enough to get him back onto his feet, but the weakness was still there. He had been through a lot, and the lack of food wasn’t helping him. It wasn’t that there wasn’t any food around him, heck, there were at least a couple of ripe berries in the pile behind him. It was just that he refused to eat, he still had hopes that his trainer would come back for him. He was a strong Pokémon! Going through great lengths to defeat not only the first Gym Leader, but the second one as well all for his trainer.
<I thank you for your kindness, but I suggest that you leave at once. My trainer will come back for me as soon as he realizes how foolish his decision was. > The Kadabra let out another sigh of disappointment, going back into his meditating sitting position. He could be really stubborn when he wanted to be, if you hadn’t noticed.

"Yes, it worked," Jalance spoken softly, trying not to get excited that the Heal Bell was able to at least calm the Kadabra now for a little while. After pausing for a few moments, Jalance soon decided to try and get closer to the Psychic pokemon, Nevah fluttering around him protectively, of course she really wasn't the fighting type, but she could be if she really had to be the protective type.
"How do you know that you're trainer will come back?" Jalance asked softly as he looked the Kadarba into his eyes. He really did admire the pokemon's stubbornest, but at the same time he felt that he would have to try and teach the Pokemon how to be a little more open. "A trainer that would leave an awesome pokemon like you around in this woods, badly in shaped, doesn't deserve to be a trainer at all, let along a trainer of such a special pokemon like you," Jalance explained, being truthful with the pokemon as he continued to make eye contact with him.

The Kadabra couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Jalance, and as soon as he did he simply couldn’t help but meet his strong gaze. There was simply a powerful psychic energy around him that almost demanded one’s attention. A trait that his previous owner had owned for as long as he could remember, that ability which made him admire the character from within. Perhaps this one human was right, but who was to be a judge of that? His trainer was stupid, yes, and foolish as well. But he had a strong sense of right and wrong when need be.
<I cannot misjudge my trainer. If this is a test, then so be it. But whatever you do, don’t insult him. > The Kadabra was trying to be as firm as possible while saying this, but it was hard when one’s body was weak. He glanced up at Nevah to feel a sense of comfort around the Celebi, but if he did anything which could provoke her, then he would most certainly be attacked. He was no wild Pokémon however; it wasn’t in his nature to attack without meaning.
<Besides...flattering me at a time like this is useless. If you think that I will join you on whatever quest you are on, you are sorely mistaken.> The Kadabra muttered, closing both of his eyes as tightly as he could to block out the outside world. The spoon held in his right hand slowly bent in different directions, an odd sight if you weren’t familiar with such a Pokémon.

"I'm not insulting your trainer, I'm just being truthful with you," Jalance stated as his strong eyes continued to glare upon the Kadabra. "Kadarba, you have to let me help you out some kind of way," he spoken softly, his voice now seeming to a little sincere as he watched the pokemon's weak body. <You can trust my trainer, he doesn't want to harm you, he just wants to help,> Nevaeh spoken in her soft, warming voice, as she landed up on the ground next to the Kadabra.
"Ha, maybe you shouldn't flatter yourself at a time like this," Jalance replied with a half smile. It was true that Jalance wouldn't mind having the Kadarba on it's team, but right now the most important thing for him right now was to get the Pokemon some help. "I'm not worried about catching you, I'm just worried about helping you," he explained, watching the spoon held in his right hand slowly bent in a different direction, Jalance didn't know too much about Kadarba, but he did have the common sense to notice that it wasn't a good sign. "I have to do something now," he whispered to himself.

The Kadabra was debating in his mind whether he should trust another human, but if he wanted to stay alive, there weren’t that many other options for him. He wasn’t used to the Wild Life, so regardless of his level; it wouldn’t be a good idea for him to stay out here for long. He didn’t even know where he could find more of his kind, and if they would live in scenery such as this.
He was snapped out of his trancelike state when Nevah spoke to him, commanding his full attention as he looked down at her, thinking the matter over more cautiously now. If Celebi thought that he was safe…Since what kind Legendary Pokémon would go with a human if they were evil? It just didn’t make any sense to him…
<If you…really want to help me…I guess I should tell you that I haven’t eaten anything for quite a while. I was simply meditating for who knows how long since my trainer left me. I haven’t been attacked, luckily no one around here sees me as a threat. But I can’t go on like this…> He mumbled out, staying in his sitting position so he could gather enough energy for later.

After hearing the Kadabra say that he haven't even anything in a quite, Jalance quickly started rummling through his back pack for a could pokefood that he had made for certain types of Pokemon on his team. "Here we go, my famous Pokemon food just for Psychic pokemon," he smiled, as he took out the box of lavander pokefood, and poured a fairly large amount into a red bowl. "I hope you like it," he added in a soft voice as he placed it next to the weary Pokemon.
<Here, I will even taste some for you,> Nevaeh stated, taking a small block of food, and tossing it into her petite mouth. <See it's yummy!> She cooed with her signture warm smile. "Yeah, it's safe so you don't have to worry about it, just eat up, and we'll think about what to do next," Jalance sighed, as he walked over to a nearby fallen log to take a seat. It seem as if his pokemon and him have been traveling through the forest for months now.

The Kadabra’s eyes lit up at the jar of Pokemon food, it had smelled good from the distance, and now it looked even better once inside that red bowl. It wasn’t like that with his other trainer, where he had to eat directly from the jar and report back to him as soon as he was ready to train. He couldn’t help but admit that this Jalance fellow was a fairly nice guy, and didn’t even need Nevah’s encouraging to help himself for a couple of bites on his own. <It has good texture. I like it.> He commented, taking a couple more bites from the bowl as if they were crackers. In fact, since he was so hungry, he couldn’t help but keep eating and eating…Until the whole thing was empty. How about that? Rustle rustle…His ears went right up after those simply noises went through the bushes, turning in the direction with intent eyes. If it was a Wild Pokemon, he knew he could count on Jalance to help him out. But what if it was his trainer? Would he be scolded for going off with another one so soon? “Hey, wow! Is that a Wild Kadabra?” An excited male’s voice came out, not even noticing the well camouflaged Celebi until he was completely into the clearing. As soon as he realized that he was interrupting something, he nervously took a step back, not expecting to see another trainer all the way out here. “Oh, I’m sorry…I thought I was all alone out in Route Three. I’m sorry for trespassing.” The man bowed his head in apology, hoping that these strangers wouldn’t jump up and attack him or think that he was some kind of robber. Meanwhile the Kadabra simply rolled his eyes, turning with an almost uncaring expression. He had never seen this human before, but he could sense that he meant no harm. Especially now that he had some of his powers back as more food entered his body, he could think much more clearly than before.

"I'm glad that you like it, we have more if you would like some more," Jalance replied, still smiling down at the Kadabra, who seem to be regaining some of his power back. "What's that noise?" He asked, swiftly looking into the direction of where the rustling was coming from.
"Nevaeh, get into your battle stance!" Jalance ordered, not wasting anytime with getting protective. <Right!> Nevaeh cooed, fluttering over front of both Jalance and the Kadabra with her tiny arms spreaded, she might have been on the petite side, but she still has some massive power stored deep inside.
A sigh soon escaped from Jalance mouth once he noticed the trainer appearing infront of them, he was a little confused about the sight, but he soon over came that. "You don't have to be sorry, and you're not trespassing," Jalance replied, laughing at the trainer's respectful manner, seeing that he wasn't too used to such manners. "Hey are you a pokemon trainer, if so would you like to battle?" He asked curiously as he studied the young man. An idea soon came to Jalance's mind once he thought about showing off some of his battle skills for the wild Psychic Pokemon.

Duke’s eyes lit up at the mention of a Pokémon Battle, something that he really needed if he wanted to take on the next Gym. With two Pokémon, it wasn’t going to be easy, so it was best that he leveled up as much as possible. If that wasn’t much of an early signal for a Pokémon battle, then the Kadabra didn’t know what was. He simply hovered into the air with his psychic abilities, floating backwards in order to give the trainers some space before they actually battled.
“Yeah! Actually, a battle would help me out a lot. My names Duke, by the way. I like sticking with Double Battles, so I hope you don’t mind if we do that.” He explained, getting his two Great Balls ready for action. Since he didn’t believe that using tiny Pokeballs as a home for Pokémon, he figured that bigger was better. That and his crew were pretty big already, they needed the room.
“Executor, Boxer, come on out.” He grinned in an almost friendly manner; there wasn’t as much as a hint of a competitive trait as he said this. Right now, he was merely introducing them to their opponents, and they were rather used to this, giving a happy cheer and smile in return.
Boxer looked at the two Pokémon on the other side of him with a somewhat questioning gaze, sensing some kind of psychic energy from them. It wasn’t something that he liked fighting around, but he could handle it without complaints. Executor was simply having the time of his life, always in a good mood, always carefree, and never letting a battle get his hopes down. Just the kind of Pokémon Duke liked to have around.

"Okay, a battle it is then," Jalance replied taking two pokeballs from his chain belt. "By the way I'm Jalance, and a double battle sounds good to me," Jalance added, now tossing the two pokeballs into the air. Soon in two burst of lights, appeared a Light Espeon and a Dark Eevee.
"Shine and Chaos let's win this!" Jalance ordered as he glanced over at his radiant Espeon, and his cruel Eevee, both opposites of each other.
"I guess that you can start things off," Jalance sighed looking over at Duke, giving his permission to attack, while his Pokémon stood into their battle stance. While waiting for their foes to attack, Chaos soon became impatient and started growling. "Chaos calm down!" Jalance shouted in a commanding voice, but soon calm the Shadow Pokemon down a little.
