Someone had handed her a flyer while she wandered the streets of Verona City. Eva had crumbled the paper and put it in her back pocket. It wasn't until that night when she was laying out her clothing that she actually had looked at the flyer. It was about some place recruiting. It promised stronger pokemon, rewards, and lots of other fun things.
Not really having too much to do with her time, Eva decided she would go and check it out. For once she hadn't gotten lost and ended up at the Academy sooner than she thought. Entering the large doors Eva walked inside. Nothing too amazing was inside, it was almost exactly as Eva imagined. The occasional person wander by, no one taking notice of Eva. It seemed as if she wasn't the only person to have wandered in today.
So much for being greeted. Eva thought over the flyer again. If this place was really promising her so many perks she might as well wait around. Finding herself a seat along the main enternce walls, Eva sat down, holding the slightly crumbled paper in her hand.

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra was decked out in her usual sort of outfit that day, just on her way to the desk to cash in on the missions she completed. The entire place was sort of empty at the moment as a result of a lack of recruits, so of course she was bound to pounce on anyone with the prospect of joining. Boredom led her to whistle to herself as she danced down the hall, but she stopped suddenly when out of the corner of her eye she saw someone sitting at one of the chairs in the main entrance.
Pretending it never happened, Sierra smoothed down her skirt. "Hi there! I'm guessing you're here to join Ace Academy." She remarked with a practiced friendly grin. The girl looked pretty. Probably prettier than her, but Sierra wasn't one to make rivals with other girls. "I'm one of the members! You can call me Sierra." She introduced herself like it was second nature.

While Eva waited for someone to approach her she read over the flyer again. The front and the back. In small print it explained something about "missions" to help the organization. Hopefully it wasn't going to be some sort of scam or something. Eva's mother had warned her about these sort of things. Even so, Eva was curious.
When a girl approached her Eva stood up and tried to put on a friendly smile. "Hello there, I am here to join the Ace Academy." Eva stated, making it clear that she was here to do something rather than wander around seeminly lost. "Hi Sierra, I'm Eva.... I found out about this place from a flyer." Eva held up the crumbled up piece of paper with a sheepish grin. "How does the joining process work?"

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra dipped her head a little when Eva announced that she was there to join. So she was right on the money, eh? It was yet another recruit in an ocean of recruits, and now Sierra was getting sort of used to it. "Those flyers took a long time to design." She pointed out, eyes brightening when she realized that she recognized the crumpled up piece of paper. Then she cleared her throat. "Anyway, the joining process goes like this. Basically, I have to explain the goal of Ace Academy to you, and then you decide if you wanna join or not." She shrugged, thinking that the system could be a little stretchier than that, but that was protocol.
She put her hands together and rubbed them; it was still winter, so the skin of the backs of her hands were cold. It gave her the shivers. "So basically our goal here is to teach everyone who wants to be a trainer how to be the best they can possibly be. Everyone that joins is trained using missions, and you get prizes if you complete them! Like Unowns. Really awesome, right?" She practically did jazz hands to dramatize.
Then she got serious again, if you could even call Sierra serious. "Yep. It'll be vigorous, but if you're up to the challenge, I'll sign you up." She didn't have a clipboard or anything, but she knew where the particular list was. Computer. Input into the system, good to go. Her face was one of anticipation as she awaited Eva's answer.
