Pokémon training was more stressing than fun and adventures like everyone thought. Taking care of your Pokémon and putting up with their crap was very tiring and exhausting for both body and mind. No wonder a lazy and normally nihilistic person like Jack started to regret ever going on a journey. Even living in the slums in the city of Saffron was more tolerable than this whole Pokémon training business. Beside the wild pokemon's seemingly endless attacks, his Murkrow was a major headache for the boy. Pavarotti was deluding itself, thinking it was th most talented opera singer on the entire world. It loved hearing its own voice unlike his peers who thought it was torture for the ears and the crow should never open his beak ever again. Jack agreed with them, but his egotistical Pokémon ignored the others' protests.
Originally, Jack wanted to drop by the library for a moment to find a guide on how to turn someone mute, but when he looked around, he was amazed by the vast collection of different literatures. He loved reading and going to libraries ever since he was little and seeing so many books in the same place brought back fond memories. He chose some works about his favourite subject, the pseudo-legendaries and their unique characteristics. He was fascinated by those magnificent creatures mentioned in myths and legends alongside the real legendary Pokémon. They were mighty and powerful and one of Jack's goals as a trainer was to acquire at least one of them if not more.

Libraries were filled with condescending hypocritical nonsense, it sent readers on an imaginative adventure when in actuality they could just take their own risk and see the world in a first-person perspective. Nebraska didn’t mind them too much, filled with information but she hated seeing people who lived vicariously through others. Life was way too short to be tucked away behind books for the majority of their lives. Her two nimble fingers traced over her Pokémon clip, where she kept Pat and Calypso. She was always so nervous they would be lost; her fingers often checking to make sure her babies were attached at her hip.
Finally inside of the library, Nebraska looked around once as her fingers lightly touched the dirt-covered bookshelves showing the history of the place. Each book was filled with memories and knowledge, she just needed to read up the lore on her beloved Calypso. Knowing what she was, she needed to know what exactly her Cresselia needed to succeed, what her purpose was in this life. Seeing as a boy had her book, she crossed her arms in front of her chest casually touching his shoulder before leaning closer to him. “Interesting book?” The girl asked with a casual tone before sitting down across from him crossing her legs as if she was an interrogator.

The silence of the great library and the peaceful atmosphere had a soothing effect on Jack's strained nerves. It's been a while since he felt so calm and relaxed and he enjoyed spending some leisure time in this place. The only thing that left a bitter aftertase in his mouth were the books placed in front of him on the desk.
At first, he thought they would be enjoyable, but they proved to be a major disappointment. The authors were obviously ignorant idiots who never saw a pseudo-legendary or legendary for real. Their description about these mythical creatures were full of mistakes and it felt like they half-assedly wrote down some rumors they heard from people and it didn't even cross their mind to research them properly. They even included Slaking, Flygon and Haxorus as pseudos! This is so infuriating!
Rubbing the bridge of his nose, Jack cast a glance at the girl sitting opposite of him. He was reading about Metagross and its evolutionary family's traits when she interrupted him, seemingly curious about what he was reading. Jack shrugged; he wasn't interested in the girl so he ignored her and returned to the book. He got bored of it pretty quickly though and he decided it was time to leave. He had to continue his journey and look for a pseudo-legendary. He was about to go when he noticed his pokedex was missing from his back pocket. "Awesome. Just what I'd expect from my luck."

Nebraska was normally a very courageous mellow girl, always up for some kind of adventure she looked at the boy who sat there with such a stank face; it was obvious he had no idea what meditation or yoga was. The sun’s raw energy filled all creatures up to the brink but most people were way too busy unable to handle the positive vibrations the earth let out as nutrients for all to grow. It was so blatantly evident that this guy had an evil soul, no redeeming quality whatsoever but as a child of peace, she would extend an olive branch.
“Problem?” She asked half-heartedly now looking at the book that he so quickly tossed aside. It was pseudo-legendaries and nothing about Cresselia was inside of it. Frowning as she closed the book putting it back on the table separating them, she smiled watching him, wondering what he was so worked up about.
