biography
The hometown hero - gone wrong. The ambitious teen left his hometown of Pewter City at the age of thirteen. His father was a researcher and his mother was a housewife. The calmness of his home would not lead you to believe how his life would change in Cheyenne. The small child who loved the heroics of battling and strategies, soon become to enveloped by the shadows of power.
His story unfolds like any other trainer, his travels began with his Chimchar. The little monkey and his trainer traveled the routes happily, conquering many trainers and adding to his team. After receiving his first badge, Nick was on fire. His luck would continue as he happened to become near royalty, winning a huge cash prize at a gambling event. The money is what first initiated his hunger for power. With his riches he was able to purchase a team of boasting Pokemon, however although this was to conquer Gym's he attracted a sly individual.
He came into contact with Syl - an executive of Team Death. The young impressionable teen was baffled by the stunning knowledge and power of the crimson haired man. He was in awe, and had found an idol. He wanted to look up to Syl, he wanted to take after Syl. In turn, he became the man's devout follower. Although he was not the Executive's protégé nor followed him, he quietly aspired to be as strong as that man.
During his beginning trial with Team Death, he had a balanced track record. He accomplished missions without failure, and was actually doing well building a small buzz in the organization. However, his passions were split in two places with his gym conquest and desire to be a good operative.
His team grew larger and his collection expanded. Only having two badges he was ready to quit his role as a trainer, and simply go around collecting Pokémon. At his age though, he was still young. Luck would have it, he would meet a fellow within the woods. This old man was a fisherman, but for some reason traveling in a wooded area. He spoke with the young kid, and even battled him. He trumped Nick with ease, but the tainted child could not accept defeat.
The two battled, every day and the trainer made no progress. The man refused to reveal his name, he simply had the young boy call him - Jinsei. Nick and Jinsei traveled the region and reached some mountains - there the training really began. Jinsei had Nick build upon his personal values and ways of life. They also trained physically. For the young man the mountains were rough, especially alone. He then found through his team of Pokemon, he could conquer anything. When he was falling they would catch him, when he could not move they would assist, when he was tired they would comfort.
For three years the man trained within the dangerous mountains. He traveled the vast area, and polished his skills. After taking this three year break and going missing from his prior obligations as a Team Death Grunt he is returning to the region. After returning he would take a small visit to the Headquarters. He noticed Team Death had changed a lot in his absence. The organization had a plethora of new members, but the one who stuck out most was Blaze.
Nick started his journey, three years ago, and recalled the now Team Death member being a Professor. Not only that, but he was an Executive of the organization. Nick also interpreted Syl's position as more laid back than before, perhaps because he was giving Blaze and other officials more work. Notably, Blaze irked Nick silently. After returning, Nick too had changed. His passion for Team Death had simmered down, and his once balanced track record was becoming loaded with failures. His issue's with the lack of seriousness and the irking Blaze was detouring the man from the organization.
After defeating the third Gym, Nick has now refocused himself. The man began to take into consideration his own strength and prowess. Instead of drifting from Team Death, he would redirect his focus into moving up in the ranks. If he wanted to change things, it was best to do it himself. Right now Nick is focused on rising in Team Death and heading towards the Elite Four!
