I’m the creation of everything I’ve ever known. Let me embrace the colors and swim in the elation.
Full Name: Adeleine Aeoria Vivalis
Gender: Female
Species: Cat
Age: 14, December 9th
Theme: Vanishing Dream ~ Lost Dream
VS Theme: Attack of the Perfect Reporter
Appearance: Adeleine is a rather short girl with a height of flat five feet. Her weight, which she never really worries about, is a solid sixty-five pounds. Being a fan of braids, Adeleine keeps part of her right hair and her left hair braided at all times; even while sleeping. Her hair isn’t dyed; her hair is a natural disorder which occurs in the female line of her family. As a consequence to this, her hair is white with no visible pigment. Her eyes, blue, are always wide with curiosity and question. Being the portal into the soul, these two windows give a good glimpse into Adeleine’s soul.
Her skin is fairly pale, almost white; this makes her get comments about looking like “some sort of porcelain doll”. Her choice of dress doesn’t dissuade this opinion, as she wears a black and white sleeveless dress. The dress is fastened in the back, and a corset is what is seen laced in black up the front and down her body. An oddly elaborate dress, the black and white are contrasting colors; a sort of diversity. While the top, white corset itself is somewhat plain; her dress only seems to get more embroidered as you reach the bottom. The first white layer is cut off by a black frill, which then leads into another white section embroidered with flowers, symbols, and card suits. Under said layer, another black; fluffy layer exists to keep Adeleine comfortable. Despite traveling, she never seems to mind this kind of clothing. Her shoes were tailor-made for traveling; they were designed to be open-toed walking shoes that still matched her outfit.
As for accessories, Adeleine has two pink flower clips in her hair, and two black bracelets with blue diamonds dangling from them.
Background: Growing up in a fairly rich family, Adeleine had not so many friends. She had a few people she kept in contact with, but she didn’t really mind. She was more of an introverted person anyways. Her parents were famous musicians, and they always preformed in town and earned money that way. They loved their daughter, and they managed to spend time with her; but they weren’t always sure what she wanted or needed.
At the age of ten, she noticed that a friend of hers was watching a television. Curious, Adeleine asked her what she was doing. Her friend told her about Pokémon contests. Adeleine thought about it, she had read that in a book once. Contests were to show beauty and planning in attacks, rather than the brute force of them. She thought that sounded like something interesting, and she walked home and began to research. There wasn’t much information on the subject, but she did find lots of details about the rules and regulations. She couldn’t exactly leave the city with her parents; that was their only source of income. She decided that, in a few years, she’d see what happened and she’d venture out on her own.
At the age of fourteen, Adeleine was reading some fantasy novel when her mind crossed that thought about that one thing. Pokémon Contests. Her parents were objective, but she promised to keep in touch. She was determined to leave shortly after this.
Disaster struck Cheyenne Region, there were electrical power outages and electronic malfunctions everywhere. Her parents main talent, music, wouldn’t be feasible would electricity for amps, electric guitars and the like. Determined to find the answer, Adeleine grabbed a bag of survival items and bolted out the door; an odd resolve from such a mild-mannered girl. A storm was coming, and that storm was Adeleine Vivalis.
Personality: Adeleine isn’t exactly a shy person or shrieking violet as much as she’s just reserved and keeps to herself. Ironic, as she’s interested in contests more than anything else. She’s more the type to watch opposed to participate, think rather than feel, perceive than judge, and the type to make careful observations about her surroundings. However, her main fault is that she’s extremely book-smart but not street-smart. She’s the type not to understand basic survival skills, and won’t fend on her own very well. She’s also very trusting in her head and her own decisions opposed to others views, while she knows they may be right; she just can’t accept that possibly she’s making a mistake. Despite this, she can cook well and comes off as very motherly.
Info: Adeleine is an above average cook.
She has no preference or affinity towards any type or kind of Pokémon.
She carries lots of books in her bag, and tells stories to anyone who asks.
While she’s very open-minded, she’s very hopeless when dealing with awkward situations and sick/drunk people. They fluster her and ruffle her usually calm and mild composure.
She became a cat one day when she ingested vitamin A, which proceeded to flow through her veins as she transformed into the cat she is today.
