Atreus, Grey's Houndour ran ahead, barking at the door and snorting a little bit. He was so cute, it made Grey laugh.
"Oi! Neone available in there? I"m lookin for a Poke'mon. I hear you have some!" she called out in the loudest voice such a small body could muster. Unfortuantely, it was a little gruff, and she coughed a little afterwards, her throat dry. Atreus looked at her, an eyebrow raised then turned and barked at the place again, ordering someone to come forth and greet his master.
"Calm down, Atreus. They can come out in their own time. In the meantime, we can just chill out here. They probably can't see me anyway...ya know..us both being small." she chuckled, knowing he didn't like being called small. He reacted the way she expected him to, growling and howling as loudly as he could. Surely, it would grab someone's attention. SHe took a seat and stuck a thumb in her mouth, playing with her poke'belt.

::rangerf:: ::hitmonchan:: Ranger Jordan + Riley
"Hup! Two! Three! Shoe! Hup! Two! Three! Shoe!" A sharp, determined voice cut through the Ranger Station as one of the more athletic Rangers continued to lift the refrigerator up and down. Her Hitmonchan, Riley, was able to help her somewhat, as this was a muscle building and a teamwork exercise. Combined into one big training method.
Plus it kept Batman away from the booze.
"You all displease me." He snorted, tired or angerly reaching for the refrigerator door while they lifted it out of his way. He sulked off into his private corner of the tent, while voices emerged from outside. Jorden nodded to Riley, and the pair slowly let the cooling appliance down to the ground. Not that it was working very well actually, due to the strange power outage. It did make a nice dumbbell though.
<Greetings, toothpick and muscleless.> Riley waved at the trainer and her Houndour as he exited the tent first, holding the tent flap open for his partner as she emerged. Jordan, as the situation from before suggested, was a muscular woman, with a strict looking face. She was pretty though, under all of that sweat.
"So. You have a Pokemon, it seems. Guess you need a 'Cheyenne Starter' to help you out, huh?" She asked, otherwise she wasn't sure why this person was here in the first place.

"Oh! Hello!" Grey stood almost at attention, a blush of embarrassment as she removed her thumb from her mouth. Atreus moved his head to the side, ignoring Riley, but he was showing off his fang. >These are the fangs that protect my master. It doesn't matter that I don't have muscles yet. I can protect her just the same!< he spoke to the Hitmonchan in a dramatic voice, remembering his rape by the fangs of a ninetales.
"Um..yes. My name is...uh..Grey. Pleased to meet you. I did come for a starter ma'am!!!"she spoke, overexcited and nervous, bowing at the waist awkwardly. Noticing his master's nervousness, Atreus moved over to her leg, pressing his body gently against her. >Grey, it's fine. They won't bite you.< Atreus snickered at his own joke.

Ranger Jordan + Riley
"New Pokémon then? Well sure. It would be my pleasure to offer you your first Pokémon in Cheyenne." Jordan winked over at Riley, who seemed oblivious to whatever she was doing. In fact, he was more interested in the Houndour's snippy comments. He had to admit, the pooch had spunk. He always liked seeing that in future Master Pokémon.
<I guess you got your head on tight, kid. Don't lose that attitude.> He spoke, still ignoring Jordan's occasional hints to get moving.
"Riley." The Ranger said, finally exasperated of his block-headedness. "Go find a damn Pokémon." She ordered, her eyes telling him that she was not joking around. For a second the Hitmonchan was frightened, before he went into a mock salute.
<Aye-eye!> He muttered, sulking off into the wild Pokémon area where some of the weaker ones wandered. It was only fair, actually, seeing that she already had a Pokémon on her.
"So. What kind of Pokémon do you like?" Jordan asked, hoping to make some conversation. She hoped that the girl at least understood that this was all random, and it relied on luck. She then remembered that she had a starter pack for the girl, and rushing into the tent, she swiped it from another ranger and ran back out, panting from the sudden rush.
For Grey: x 5 x 3 Pokedex x1

Atreus nodded to Riley, his head jerking back, slightly startled as Jordan shouted to her poke'mon. Afterwards, he simply chucked and laid down by Grey's feet, watching the action.
Grey jumped as she the Ranger shouted to her poke'mon, and stared in amazement at it's response. She liked it. It was a very expressive poke'mon, not that Grey wasn't. Then again, she didn't have much exposure to the poke'mon's personalities, even though she lived on a farm full of them. The question too, caught her off guard.
"What kind of Poke'mon do I like...?" she tilted her head to the side, now calm as she contemplated. "Well...I guess I like canine like Poke'mon...but Buizels and Pikachu's and other poke'mon are cool too I guess..." Even when she answered, Grey didn't seem entirely sure. In truth, she liked a butt load of poke'mon, at least from what her parents told her. Her mother had a Mawile that followed her wherever she went. She even helped Grey every once in a while, however, Grey being afraid of poke'mon, she usually shied away. Her father had a very loyal Arcanine that he put into shows, quite often and had made at name for itself. It was a very snuggly friend, and the only one she never shied away from, it being very old. "Can I say I like them all?"

Ranger Jordan + Riley
<Hey! Hey! Jordan! Look at this one! It's cute!> Riley called right as Jordan was about to respond to Grey. Actually, she was going to laugh at how adorable of a response that was, enjoying this new personality before her. It wasn't often when there weren't picky people over here. They always wanted the cool types, like dark, ghost, and psychic, like those crazy teenagers that like gothic stuff.
Well. That was their thing. She was always more of a hands-on kind of gal, and fuck whoever she offended. She was no communist, and believed all opinions could be heard. Right right. "Sounds like you're the right kind of gal for this place." She chuckled, taking out a Great Ball and handing it to Grey.
"You use that to catch your very own Cheyenne Pokemon. It's part of the Ranger Experience." She added, just in case she had never used a Great Ball before. That was unlikely, seeing that she already had a Pokemon, but still. Riley brought over the (actually willing) Chingling. It wasn't even injured. How funny was that?
Great Ball Will Always Work Here~
So for Grey:
::chingling:: Chingling Level: 3 Gender: You pick Ability: Levitate Attacks: Wrap, Wish Personality: You decide

Grey smiled cutely at the woman and put her hands behind her back, twisting from side to side. Her face was a slight pink with embarrassment, so she looked down to get a little encouragement from Atreus. However, access was denied to her. The dark Pokémon had already closed his eyes and was taking a nice nap in the sunlight. This did succeed in calming her a little, so she squatted to pet him, the beginners’ kit in her hand. Much to Atreus’ dismay, this was soon dropped on his head as the Great Ball was handed to her, which she stared at in surprise.
The poor girl hadn’t even noticed that Riley had brought back a Pokémon. A rather cute Pokémon. It was love at first sight, despite her never having heard the clique’ in her life. It’s rope looked like a candy cane, which seemed absolutely yummy at the moment. In addition to that, its body was certainly bell shaped, rather like those at a Japanese prayer shrine. This reminded her of the time she went to pray, and the bell fell on her head. But that was enough of that. She was done reminiscing in her head. It was time to catch her first Pokémon by herself. “Here goes…!” she clutched the poke ‘ball in both hands, closed her eyes, and tossed it for all she was worth. It almost went over the poor Pokémon, but it managed to hit it at the last second, bouncing off it’s head.
She stared at it, amazed at the weird noises it made, and the really cool shaking. Two shakes and fluctuations of the clicks, and it made a final click, this time, not moving. “I guess that means I caught it then…” she walked over to pick it up staring at it in shock. She was expecting not to hit it. But she was successful in this as well. This made her extremely happy, so she beamed at the two, Ranger and Pokémon. “Thank you!” she bowed again, this time not as awkward as she squeezed Atreus. “I’ll name it Peppermint!”
