< Blah, blah, blah! All you do is talk! You’re such a selfish creature!> the Seel spouted off, once more blind to the incongruity behind those offensive words.
His slobber coated tongue had successfully made contact with the ritzy Wingull. That cold wet muscle skid across the plains of her face, leaving a trail of transparent slime behind. This caused the bird to screech in disgust before attempting to clean off the ooze with an edge of her wing. While the Lick had failed to wrought about a status effect, its other result had forced the sea lion to giggle. That laughter gained more force and soon Panic was barking in satisfaction; that Wingull looked so ridiculous!
"Panic, pay attention." Felix cut in, his voice laced with a slight growl; he was all fine for games but now was not the time.
Unfortunately, due to his carelessness, it was already too late to evade the seagull’s next onslaught. Panic’s eyes widened in shock as he watched an erupting force of water head directly at him. The liquid struck, its pressure immense and it strung his thick layered flesh. The pain! The pain! The pa -- oh wait, it wasn’t actually so bad. Though it wasn’t the most pleasant sensation, the attack only did a smidge of real damage. He was a water type too, and in addition he was covered in a fatty blanket of blubber that managed to absorb most of the impact.
"Headbutt, quickly."
The Seel listened to the Skorupi Pokémorph and once more hurled himself closer to his foe. He was faster than when he battled the Rattata, back in his own nature element, but there was no doubt in his mind that the Wingull was a swift monster too. Either way, he threw back his heavy head before jamming it forward - hoping it would land.

Pokemon battle ! Wingull's displeasure with her opponent was strengthened when she saw that the Seel was laughing at her. The insolence of trainer's Pokémon these days!
Even more displeasure welled up in her when she saw that her water attack had done next to nothing to her target when she'd intended for far more damage to occur. But, she supposed, it was nothing; she'd gotten herself out of thinner situations before, and it wouldn't be too much of a challenge to get out of this one.
Her experienced mind began to plan her strategy; she'd wittle away the seal's strength until his damage against her was obsolete. Then, perhaps she'd have a chance with her Water Guns against this resistant challenger.
Knowing the plan was risky did nothing to deter her from following through. After all, she'd gotten past obstacles using only gut instinct; by now she knew it was a good strategy. A last resort, perhaps, but good.
The Seel's head pummeled into her small, vulnerable body, the force of his massive skull tossing her backward in the air before she was able, with the aid of the wind, to beat her wings and stay aloft before she'd crashed into a tree somewhere. Staying true to her plan, she let loose a low growl at the fat, white creature before launching a cannonball of water at him.
Taillow had stayed cowering from a small distance away, too tired and stripped of energy to move any farther. The trainer was occupied with Wingull, at least; in the time it would take for them to battle, perhaps she'd have enough energy to make her escape.

Panic felt his forehead collide on the Wingull’s light hollow-boned build; the strike was fierce and sent the bird hurtling off in the near distance. Her body violently flopped against the hard flesh of a tree, yet the skilled combatant immediately retaliated. She snarled at the sea lion, who in return - once feeling his strength waver - yielded the same favor. A hoarse Growl snaked from between his plump lips, its heavy base amplified due to the rumble clutching to his chest.
Another Water Gun followed suit, aimed precisely at the fur-coated water type.
"Submerge." Felix commanded, without delay at the sight. While Panic held a great defense against the element, it wouldn’t be wise to allow him to freely take damage.
The Seel took a quick moment to decipher the significance behind the Skorupi Pokémorph’s words; but soon sank his full figure into the depths of the satisfyingly cool river. Panic raced like a miniature white jet within the water, however crept closer to the surface once the direct threat had past. He allowed his ears to break through - wanting to hear both the seagull and Felix - nevertheless kept gliding against the undercurrent.
In the meantime, the tall male paid little attention to the trembling Taillow only feet away. If she escaped, she escaped; she wasn’t the most pressing of subjects at the present time.

Wingull grimaced at the Growl, feeling her attack fall, and outright scowled as her Water Gun missed. It seemed her plan was falling apart. What a pity she didn't know any physical moves. Oh well. Not allowing her plan to disintegrate, she returned the Seel's Growl with one of her own, and without a pause, shot a Water Gun at where Panic's ears were poking up. She would win this battle, and teach the insolent, greedy, downright rude Seel a lesson it wouldn't soon forget. ::wingull:: Wingull used Growl and Water Gun.

The effectiveness of this battle was declining with each passing round. Panic’s strength had been approximately lowered; they too were also trying to dwindle the seagull’s attacking force. Things weren’t going as smoothly as what Felix would like, therefore he concluded that tactics would have to change. They needed to alter their stance in an offensive manner and limit how their opponent flowed. Even if that meant taking a substantial amount of damage.
Like before, the Seel dancing around within the river managed to evade the Water Gun. He had heard the stream, and being able to move naturally, he simply dove to the side.
"Get out of the water. Stay near it, and use Headbutt." the humanoid Skorupi ordered.
As much as Panic detested departing from the creek, he swiftly lunged from the cool liquid. Awkwardly he charged for the Wingull - fat body flopping roughly on the solid earth below. He’d do his best to lurk next to the bird, attempting whenever a prime opportunity came, to overpower her to the ground. After a moment, the sea lion utilized his weight, rising up and slamming his head down in her direction.

White wings briefly touched the top of the stream, eyes narrowing in interest as she traced the Seel’s position from the clear waters. She was certain of his location, but could find no means of being able to attack him. A blast of water would have been useless in this type of situation, since the refraction of the water completely distorted his image, making him appear to be somewhere else. She scoffed as she pulled back up into the air, slowly circling above the edge of the creek, waiting for the Seel to emerge. If he wanted to win this battle, he would have to come after her, after all.
He awkwardly flopped out of the water, and she couldn’t help but hold in a chuckle as he tried to charge at her. With all of the blubber jiggling around him, he wasn’t going to get pretty far. Seeing that it was time to proscribe him from causing her any more harm, she elegantly dodged the Headbutt and flew behind him. By the time he had turned around, if he chose to do so, she would have already let loose another Supersonic.
<Think you’re so tough, don’tcha?> She hissed, ready to dish out this Seel’s punishment. She was still hungry dammit, and impatience came with hunger. Especially when she earned those two berries in her fight with the Taillow. She let out the high pitched sound blast at the Seel, making the nearby plants vibrate from its intensity.
::wingull:: Dodged Headbutt. Used Supersonic.
