[[ This is a battle between Amoro and I. However, if anyone else wants to battle, we can reuse this thread. ^^ Just say that the Pokemon were healed, and let's go! Lurking and waiting for a battle is also acceptable. ]]
It was true that there was a really epic Halloween party going on right now, and heck, he was still in his Mothim costume and everything, but he needed a break from the insanity for a while. Shivering from the cold as the automatic doors to the Trainer's Lounge opened for him, he smiled at some of the awkward stares that were given to him as he entered. The warmth of the room helped to comfort his flushed face, but it would be a while before it fully went down.
"So. I guess you guys weren't cool enough for the party." He chuckled, which was normally out of character for him. Perhaps his time at the party left him in a more social mood than normal, plus he had this sudden itch for a fight. Not that he was much of a fighter, so instead he let his Pokemon do the fighting. They had to train, after all. Most specifically, Ken, his Geodude.
"Hey, Miss? Could you sign me up for one of the battle rooms?" He asked the pretty lady up at the front desk, and as she nodded her head, he couldn't help but notice her velvet red lipstick. It was quite entrancing. She led him into one of the available rooms, where he waited for his first opponent.

After getting bored with the crowded Halloween party, Amor quickly found himself strolling down an empty pathway toward the exact location of Trainer Lounge. Luckily, the young male's dark tuxedo shield his slim, but athletic body from the piercing wind traveling around him. A few more moments of walking toward the building, the dark haired male had finally made his way inside of the cozy room, which was surprisingly rather active at the moment. A sly smirk quickly shown across his soft lips as he walked toward the lady standing behind the front desk. "Hello beautiful, I would like to sign up for a battling room, please," he spoken smoothly as he placed a dark red rose onto the mostly empty desk. The lady's pale face slowly started to reveal a light pink hue as touched the stunning rose. "Go right into that room there, inside should be a trainer already there waiting for you," she replied softly as her cheeks returned back to their normal pale color.
"Thank you very much." He smiled again before walking off into the direction of the battle room. He slowly took out another dark red rose from underneath his tuxedo and slowly started to twirl it around between his gentle finger tips effortlessly. A couple of seconds passed and Amor had finally made his way inside of the battle room with his dark blue eyes scanning over the warm room quickly as he allowed them to become locked onto a younger boy awaiting his arrival. Luckily, the mask hid his cold eyes from the sight of others. A quickly chuckle escaped his lips as he made his way toward his end of the battle field. "Are you my challenger?" He asked the kid calmly, waiting patiently for an answer.

Tapping his foot to keep his patience for the first challenger, Susumu didn't have much else to do besides examine the room's surroundings. It was a plain battlefield; no rocks, no foliage, nothing except paint that marked where the Pokemon were supposed to battle. The ceiling closed everything off, so no outside weather effects could hinder or help a Pokemon battle. There were several windows open, giving the room an uneasy chill as a breath of wind blew right past him.
The doors opened up to reveal an overly dramatic looking man dressed up in a tuxedo, playing around with a blood colored rose in his hand. From what it appeared, he had also been to that Halloween party too. Susumu was still in costume, including a black wig, so it would be hard to recognize him if they met elsewhere after all of this.
"I guess I am. Though I was here first, so I guess you're challenging me." Susumu explained, a bit excited to have another trainer battle. The first one he had in here, he lost in around three turns. But he was eager to try again, and with a Pokeball in his hand, he quickly released a happy looking Geodude. Once released from his Pokeball, the Geodude stretched his arms out in a relaxed manner, looking at Amor with excitement.
<Cool looking dude, I want a mask like that.> He laughed, clapping his hands together. Ken meant well, of course, but it could almost be taken in a sarcastic manner. Not all humans understood Pokemon however, such as Susumu. He was a Pokemorph, and even he couldn't understand his Geodude.

Amor quickly allowed a chuckle to escape from his lips as he listened to Susuma correct his statement. "Well, aren't you a clever one." He spoken softly as he continued to twirl the delicate rose through his finger tips. He swiftly started to study his opponent a bit more before making any rapid actions. Luckily, Susuma wasn't wasting anytime with getting this battle started, seeing that he had already revealed his Pokémon. "Hmm, a Geodude." He whispered to himself as he tighten his grip onto the stem of the rose, carefully raising it over his head, and tossing it toward the Geodude. The beautiful rose twirled gracefully through the opened air and soon landing onto the floor, right in front Ken. "Well, I guess we should get this battle start!" He chuckled again as he grabbed a red and white sphere from behind his cape.
"Haru, it's battle time!" He shouted tossing the sphere into the air elegantly. The Pokeball twirled rapidly into the air like a cannonball and within the flash of a beautiful white radiance, a gorgeous and majestic Crystal Ninetales appeared in front of the handsome trainer. Haru calmly released a smoothing growl from his mouth and then glanced into the direction of his foe, staring Ken down with his twinkling eyes. The Ninetales high confident simply equaled the proud confidence of his trainer.
"Show us your true power, or prepare to be overtaken by pure power and beauty!" Amor spoken loudly as a sly smirk kissed his eyes. He figured that he would allow their opponents to make the first move.

[[xD Since Ken is likely to lose in the first turn, I might have Shamu send out another Pokemon (believe me, they won't get far against Haru). Would that be ok? ]]
"Wow, I know what that is." Susumu exclaimed at the crystal beauty that had emerged onto the field, his long tails flowing about behind him effortlessly. A Ninetails, was it? That was what Maasaki, his Vulpix, was supposed to evolve into. Though from what he saw in the picture books, he was positive that they weren't supposed to be that blue. Or pretty. Again, that was beside the point. He gave a grin towards his Geodude, who happily pounded his fists into the ground in an attempt to intimidate the Ninetails. He only looked like an over happy child though, which made him look oddly cute for a rock.
"I guess that means we get the first turn, huh Ken?" He smiled with a look of confidence, knowing for a fact that even if he lost, he was still bound to grow stronger from the experience. Trainer battles were just awesome like that, weren't they? It was part of his plan, and he knew he was bound to win battles eventually. That was what separated the new trainers from the experts!
"Start things off with Mega Punch." He replied, trying to restrain his excitement so as not to make the other trainer think he was strange. Though quite honestly, he would've been one to talk. Ken nodded his agreement with the move, which happened to be his strongest, and shot towards the Ninetails like a heavy bullet with his fists extended.

[[sure, that's fine with me]] "They can't be can't be serious..." Amor spoken softly to himself as he watched the Geodude pound his rocky fists against the ground. The small rock Pokémon seem to have been trying to intimidate the beautiful fox Pokemon, but unfortunately, the opponent's attempt was more of an epic fail. Meanwhile, Haru watched his opponent carefully and quickly found himself rolling his brilliant eyes at the Geodude with a bit of annoyance.
"Haru, there's making the first time. So, get ready to brace yourself!"The dark haired trainer commanded calmly. He definitely wasn't too concerned about his beloved Pokémon taking a lot of damage from the Geodude, though the rock/ground Pokémon clearly had the advantage type wise.
Shamu had finally given his Geodude his first command and if Amor heard correctly, the Geodude would attempt to make a "powerful" Mega Punch. A mischievous twinkle swiftly read through the crystal fox Pokemon's eyes as he continued to watch the incoming attack coming from his foe, not expressing any type of fear at all. "Go get em!" Amor commanded with an arrogant smirk. Haru simply nodded his head and quickly started charging into the direction of the Geodude at high speed, and it wouldn't take a rocket scientist determine that the fox was truly more agile than the rock. Haru, continuing to run at a rapid swift soon leaped into the air elegantly with his gorgeous, nine tails releasing a blinding metallic glow as they started to power up with potential energy waiting to be transferred into kinetic energy. The two Pokémon seem to have been nearing each other even more, but just the Geodude's fist reach his body, Haru swiftly leashed his heavy tails into the direction of the forceful punch, hoping to over power his opponents attack and hopefully cause a bit of damage at the same time.

Wait...what? As the Geodude's fist collided with Haru's iron hard tails, he was easily swept backwards like a baseball. Making a painful cry as he clutched his injured fist in mid-air, the Geodude landed ungracefully on his head from the first blow. Worried for his Pokemon, Susumu cried out in worry for his Pokemon's safety. "Oy! Ken! Are you ok?" He asked, not moving from his spot. As long as he saw Ken twitching, he knew the Pokemon was alive and well. Those injuries on his body looked pretty bad though, it was as if a large crack had formed over his body from the super effective move. "O-Ok. Return, Ken. I'll take care of ya." Susumu cried, returning the Geodude into his Pokeball and looking at it with concern. Well that had sucked, but perhaps he could still win. That was a type disadvantage right there, so maybe his other Pokemon would have a chance? Let's try this again. Michi, use Bubble." He called out, releasing the Chinchou from his Pokeball. His calm eyes surveyed the field, and spying the Nintails before him, sent a weak flurry of Bubbles in his direction. ::chinchou:: |Michi: Level 5| [/font]
