So, I decided to go ahead and make this game. I've been debating about it, and I figured "what the heck" and just posted it. Anyway, this is a game that I posted on DN2 and became popular for quite a long time. (It lasted five rounds. Quite impressive for a site with only about 15 active members) It's probably a bit more complicated than the other games, but here are the rules:
Character Vote-Off is basically a popularity contest game that can be used with anything. For example, you could use memes and then have a CVO to see which meme is the most loved in general, and which ones people are sick of. In order to play, all you have to do is cast a vote to Heal or Hurt a character, and they will gain/lose HP based on the votes. For every one Hurt/Heal, they will lose/gain 1 HP.

Votes that I find invalid will be nullified, and will NOT count. That means, none of the actions you have taken in that vote will count at all. So make sure to follow the rules if you want your opinions known.
And now, the actual rules:
Other than that, you have complete creative freedom about your posts. You can alter the words "hurt" "heal" and "kill" with anything you want. If you want to say that you punt the character over the rainbow and into a pile of a pride of wild lions to double hurt them, feel free to do so.

Now that that is out of the way, we need a topic for the first one. I prefer to leave it to the people for this, rather than dictating it myself. I will now take suggestions from people: Possible topics for this list. Note that you have to be able to come up with at least 10 different characters for it. If you have any questions, contact me either via Cbox or PM. I would like to keep suggestions off of this thread for the sake of keeping things tidy. So please send any suggestions to me through the usual contact methods~

- You can ONLY post again once either a day has gone by (this means that if you post at 10 in the morning one day, you must wait until at least midnight before you can post again, and if you post at 11:59 at night, then you can post again at 12, even if it is a double post.)
- My original rules were that you could post again if at least 5 people posted after you. However, unless this game gets wildly popular, I think I'll just remove this little limit. The only rule with this is that you can't double-post when voting
- If you're going to kill off a character, please post your specific vote, no matter how obvious it is. (For example, if you want to kill off a character with a double hurt, say something like "Double hurt and kill 'insert name here'."
- Try not to form any kind of alliances with anybody else. Hurt the characters you don't like, heal the ones you do. Try to avoid hurting or healing specific characters because another person wants/doesn't want you to.
- Please re-post the list, with your votes modified into them, at the bottom of your post. For example, if you hurt one character, then re-post the list, subtracting 1 HP from that character's HP. This helps prevent mistakes and confusion.
- If you start typing up a vote and then post it, only to see that somebody else posted before you could finish, please Modify your post to match the list provided by the person who posted first. Whoever posted first according to the site is the one who has priority in their votes at all times (the only exception being if their post has been invalidated).
