Name: Rebecca (Ruby) Wheeler.
Gender: Female.
Age: Age 20 Born on May- 13
Appearance:
Head: With a beautiful shade of red hair, Rebecca has several piercings. The piercings are a monroe on the right of her lip, and a ruby stud ear ring on her right ear. Her face is clean and blemish free, and her skin is as soft and white as an angel. Rebecca wears red lipstick and red blush, but otherwise, nothing else in the lines of make up. Her eyes, however, have become black and baggy from what seems to be a lack of sleep. Along with her collection of ruby red collection is a chain necklace with heart shaped ruby. Her neck is red with scratch marks and has several scars on her neck from scratching so much and so often. Parts of her neck have dried blood on some of the area's where should will scratch, and will often bleed if she scratches over them. Rebecca's has a habit of biting her lips from depression or anxiety, and often look as if someone took a knife and cut her a few times. Rebecca's lips will bleed on occasions, but they aren't a noticeable feature.
Torso: Wears a light brown jacket with fake fur lined around the hood of the coat, and is otherwise, normal with no other mentionable features. Rebecca wears a skin tight, white tank top that has a red, broken heart design on the chest. Rebecca has a tattoo as well, a tramp stamp that reads "The longer you wait for the future, the shorter it will be" the tattoo is about two inches in height and all in cursive. Rebecca's bad habit of cutting herself has left it's mark on her body quite well, mostly around the wrists and arms, which is a reason for her jacket. Dark red lines cross and mingle on Rebecca's arms, as if a kid took marker and drew lines all over her. Her most common area to cut is on the arm where it would be harder to see if she wore long sleeves. Like any other cut, if she moves her arms enough, or grazes over it with her fingers, her arm might bleed slightly from the lore fresh cuts.
Legs: Rebecca wears dark blue skin tight jeans with a chain dangling on the left side of her leg. The pants have some rips and tears, mainly around the knees and back pockets. Her shoes are knee high, black converse shoes and have seen better days. Small rips and holes have made their marks around sides and heels of the shoes. Her legs are also scratched up like the rest of her body. When depressed or in fear, Rebecca will curl up in a ball and often sink her finger nails into her legs or scratch her legs vigorously. She is either too absorbed in her emotions to feel the pain, or doesn't care which results in her numerous cuts on her body.
Background:
Elementary school years: Born into a family with two other siblings with Rebecca as the youngest, Rebecca seemed to be in quite a happy family. With an older sister (Morgan) and an eldest brother (Benjamin) Rebecca was always the one who got the most attention from the parents, and the least respect from her siblings. Rebecca had gotten only hand me downs for a majority of her elementary school years, only getting new clothes on her birthday or on Christmas.
Rebecca's older sister seemed to be the punk who blew school off, not doing homework or not listening. Benjamin, on the other hand seemed to be excelling on his classes, always getting the top grades and respect among his classmates, even into his high school years. Rebecca seemed to collect both qualities. She had the brains to pass her classes, but never deemed school necessary for a 'complete' life. She was able to get along with others very well too, gaining respect and friendship from everyone in her class.
Rebecca had a problem, however, and that was to live life to the fullest and that was what she did. She was a tomboy, and a big one at that. She liked worms, mud, fishing, spiders, and anything else labeled 'boy stuff'. She loved her makeup too, playing house was a big favorite of hers, along with tea time and other activities.
During her time in third grade, Rebecca was climbing to the top of a tree, racing one of her friends to the top to show her guy friends that a girl could beat a guy if they put their minds to it. She beat them, but at the expense of broken leg. As Rebecca was climbing down, her foot slipped and fell from the tree, knocking her head a few times on a couples of branches and finally the ground. She broke her leg, and was back outside when the cast was off.
During Rebecca's fifth grade year, Morgan began to act strangely. Whatever love Morgan had for Rebecca and Benjamin was magically gone, as she began to tease the two, harass the two, and steal from the two. Somewhere and somehow, Morgan found some sort of attraction to some group of people called 'Team Death', and "this is what they do", Morgan would state. "They have no rules, no parents, no restrictions. Just life." Morgan was held inside the house, punished, grounded, everything, but the results were still the same with no changes in her attitude. These events started the slow regression in Rebecca's family life.
Middle school years: in her sixth grade year, Rebecca found her addiction to tattoo's. Cool, strange, and personal. Everything she had wanted, and it was something her sister couldn't steal from her, unless she wanted to go to jail. She knew at the time that she wouldn't be able to get one, but it was her wish to get several, or at least one. Rebecca continued to flunk her classes even though she still knew everything. 'A girl with potential who's see's the world as a toybox. A harmless place with infinite fun and joy,' was how some people put it.
Near the end of Rebecca's seventh grade year, her brother, Benjamin seemed to be disappearing more often. Her parents just saw it as 'A high school boy with a big group of friends.' Benjamin said the same thing. He obtained his first Pokémon shortly after and was seen even less. Morgan got a Pokémon days after Benjamin, but was kept secret from her parents.
High school years: Rebecca finds no interest in anything still, but passes all her classes flawlessly. She keeps her grades up so she could get her first tattoo and piercing. The tattoo is the quote on her back, an the stud piercing was the piercing. Benjamin at this point is graduated from high school, and stays at home while he tries to find a suitable college for himself. Morgan is in her Senior year, and is still exactly the same. A big fan of this Team Death group, and is in a school group that is also a Team Death supporter.
Rebecca follows her sister one evening to see what this group is all about. Apparently, Morgan was a well respected member along with Benjamin, who was apparently a 'prophecy' with his smarts and skills. Benjamin apparently was a leader for a small group and quite a strong trainer. With Rebecca in the picture, she was treated with extreme care, and love since she was the sister of Morgan, and especially because of Benjamin. He was still a nice guy, especially to Morgan and Rebecca, but had a short fuse for lazy people, and people who refused to listen to what he had to say.
Rebecca hung around Team Death more often, it became her escape from society and a gateway to freedom. Many of the members called her 'Ruby' for that fact that she loves rubies and the color red. Rebecca didn't participate in many missions or activities that the group did very often, but she knew better than to join them. She knew they were evil, but as long as they respected and loved her, she didn't care. They even got here a second piercing, the monroe.
In Rebecca's senior year, Benjamin became outraged at some of his group member's activities, declaring them 'so dangerous, they should not be done without his permission.' Apparently, several members thought it would be a fun idea to blow a few holes into a few buildings by using their Pokémon. They did, and the police were in a frenzy. The members who committed the act were immediately kicked out of Team Death before they could say 'pokemon'. As an act of revenge, they kidnapped Rebecca and shoved her in a small metal box with air holes, barely big enough to stuff her in while she was curled up, and was left for dead in a small alleyway where no one would probably even go.
Almost fifty hours passed when the police found the girl. She had been starving, and the box inside was anything but pretty. Rebecca was rushed to the hospital until she was 'healthy' after three weeks had passed. She had gained all her appetite back, an was back in school after another week. Her grades flunked however, delving into a black hole as dark as the alley she had been thrown into. Her parents began to frighten, observing the ball of used to be sunshine as she became a twisted and confused girl. It happened that while she was confined inside her metal box, she had developed claustrophobia and chronophobia (the fear of time). She also seemed to have become 'slightly' bi-polar, the doctors said. The traumatic incidents caused her to change completely.
Rebecca was just as smart as she was before, but with the clock ticking down toward the end of the school day, she would gradually become scared, or depressed, realizing her life was quickly slipping through her fingers. Everyday she would experience these feelings until one day she snapped. During the final month of her senior year, Rebecca walked into school with a skateboard. She ran up to every clock she could find, smashing each and every one of them into pieces crying in horror. She struck several people with her skateboard as well, but it took about twenty people to take her weapon, pin her down, and then wait for her to be taken away.
Rebecca's family had been sued for the events, sending the family is a downward spiral. Cash became scarce, her parents became bitter, and the house was sold for an apartment. Rebecca became depressed for several months as she cut herself and cried herself to sleep every night. Months passed and shortly after her nineteenth birthday before being taken away for a psycho ward, she ran off in hopes to have a free life. She stayed with her brother for several weeks, who had gotten himself an apartment for him and several of his Team Death partners, but she was eventually told to leave by her brother. "Find yourself a new life you pest. Get yourself a Pokémon and doing something for yourself!" Benjamin was fed up with her bipolar personality, as well as his partners. So now, the train wreck is on her way to start a new life of her own.
Personality:
Bipolar: Rebecca can be happy one moment, depressed the next moment, and be in a rampage the next minute. She is normally in a mellow mood and not much of a trouble maker, but when aggravated, she doesn't pull any punches. When she is in her mellow mood, her voice is cold and emotionless, but soft and quite as well. She bows and nods her head respectively as she talks with people, and is easy to work with/ communicate with.
Happy: IF Rebecca is happy, she will be found with a wide grin on her face, laughing to her hearts content. She will become jittery and bouncy, playful and adventurous. She will become touchy feely with you, playing with your arms and ruffling your hair, as well as poking her nose at your women's chest's on rare occasions.
Smug/punk: When she becomes smug, she will often swear, telling you blow off and the likes. Rebecca will confront someone, placing her face close to theirs if she means business. Rebecca will place her feet on tables, she will slouch over, spit on the ground, as well as other nasty or smug habits. She is not afraid to fight, and is pretty good at it too. If possible, don't make her angry.
Depressed: Rebecca will often lay on the ground on her side either spacing out, or crying for long periods of time. On occasions, she will cut herself or scratch her neck or wrists continuously until the skin begins to break, or bleeds.
Info: Has a fondness to the color red, and loves rubies. Hates clocks and the changing of days (i.e: She hates the transition from day to night, and from night to day.) Rebecca hates small areas, and will begin to cry, collapse in fear, and in some cases, pass out and wake up in a cold sweat.
Height: Five foot six inches.
Likes: (Can change depending on mood) Busy towns, constant activity or being busy with something. Likes big crowds, being in large group conversations, spicy food, sweet food, open areas, and sunlight.
Dislikes: (Can also change depending on mood) Silence, small and compact areas, having nothing to do or having no one to talk to.
