"Greaaat. Now, like civil trainers. We fight to the very end." He grinned, as if he was trying to play along with Zane's cold demeanor. No, he could never pull off being that mean, but he could do his best not to make too many enemies. That only got you killed these days, since people were so cowardly as to fight with guns instead of fists. Sad day, huh? 'What is that punk looking at me for? Probably looking down on me, like the rest. Even HE thinks I'm a joke.' The Bidoof snorted as she looked right at Susumu, body facing the Staryu as she was ready to take whatever was going to be dealt at her. But she was going to get the first move, it seemed. It didn't really matter, as long as she got a few good licks in, she was fine. "Jenna, start things off with Defense Curl and Tackle." He started, realizing that after a bit of research on Jenna's capabilities, that Defense Curl was possibly the best move for her at this point. Her simple ability pretty much made it as good as an Iron Defense, which was handy. The Bidoof began by tucking her head into her fur, a bit of a lame Defense Curl, but her fur was so thick that it made curling up into a ball rather difficult. Besides, she wanted to attack. With her head tucked into her chest, eyes straining to get a good view of the Staryu, she aimed a good Tackle attack at the very core of its body. { Jenna } Level 9 SIMPLE Activates(Defense +2) Uses Tackle

Astro took the oncoming Tackle, standing his ground as the Bidoof's body came into his. Being hit back by the Tackle, his feet dug into the ground. Once it was over he shook himself. My my, the Bidoof was a tough one wasn't it?
Zane smirked, the teen was trying to play along was he? Well then, Zane would have fun with this. "Harden then Water Gun." He said.
Astro nodded and used Harden, his body shined as he got harder. The Harden raising Defense this was sure to go his way. Then he shot a Water Gun at the Bidoof, the blast of icy cold water were right at her, though given enough time and warning it could dodge.

Upon seeing the Harden, Susumu let out a violent smirk-- something that he simply couldn't contain. It was as if he was revealing that he knew something that Zane didn't, and that he should be aware that something was up. The only thing was, even if he knew about it, there wasn't much he could do if he stuck with the Staryu. Plus, if Zane chose to switch Pokemon, then he would switch Pokemon. That is, unless Jenna's growl would have some use. So far, that seemed debatable, since the Staryu had Water Gun. "Dodge and use Tackle." Susumu narrowed his eyes, getting excited at the prospect of having a true battle with his new Bidoof. Apparently though, she had her own ideas. She took the Water Gun head on, grunting with half closed eyes as she charged through it. It luckily wasn't a high powered move, but it was cold and it hurt. She was only lucky that her oily fur helped to prepare her for her future water type evolution, making it not as bad as it could've been. "Jenna, what are you--I don't even--" He groaned, gasped, and face palmed. Upset the Bidoof had ignored him. She didn't need any extra damage, but here she was, being stupid, just charging ahead. Zane raised an eyebrow. Was the Bidoof not responding to the Trainer's commands? Oh, maybe this was going to be easier than he thought.
Astro took the head on Tackle, for some reason the Harden did him no good. The attack was fun on though the Harden should have helped, then he scowled. The Bidoof had an ability to negate stat changes. He then jumped a good two feet away from the Bidoof and blasted a Water Gun at her.
Zane saw things differently. His Pokemon didn't disobey him, they just did things they thought was best suited for the battles. He didn't mind, things always turned out OK anyways.

The water gun came soaring at Jenna, and Susumu opened his mouth to command a dodge, but she stood there completely defiant. Susumu couldn't even compare to Eleanor's degree of training anyways. She didn't particularly care so much for her old trainer, due to lack of use, but she had been tough. This guy didn't suit her tastes. 'Well...she's taking the hits well though. She is rather chubby, so I guess that counts for something.' He thought with a sigh, folding his arms indifferently as he took notes about Zane's training style. He wasn't much of a talker, which bothered him. People that were like that in general bothered him, but he couldn't just ask to have a conversation. It would've been weird. "Tackle. I think you've got the edge." Eh, he probably should've been more confident in his Pokemon's abilities. But she was ignoring him. If she just agreed to dodge every once in a while, it wouldn't be so bad. Jenna huffed at the way he worded it and sent him a glare, but only a quick one before charging at the Staryu. At least she had her priorities straight. Turn #3 { Jenna } Level 9 Hit by Water Gun Uses Tackle

Astro took the Tackle head on. The Bidoof was for sure strong, he wasn't going to doubt it. He jumped back and shook himself out of it. He wasn't really going to let himself get defeated by a...a...beaver was he?
Zane kept quiet as the battle raged on, saying nothing but battle commands. "Attack." He said. Astro nodded and shot another blast of Water at the Bidoof. Zane looked at Susumu with a cold smile, he loved keeping people on their toes. "Your Bidoof really loves listening to you." he said sarcastically. Oh, he also loved teasing people if he ever got the chance.

Hearing Zane say that made his eye twitch, like, the crazy kind almost but he managed to keep his temper together. This was normal trainer trash talk, he supposed. Things were supposed to be competitive, and that was only nature. Relax. He forced a sigh, as if he was trying to kick his mind into forgetting the more unpleasant things in life. "No, she was from another trainer. A real weirdo." He sighed, not even knowing how to explain Eleanor at this point except she liked to be an annoying kiss-up. Still, unlike some of the other TD members, she talked to him. "You know what, at this point, screw it. Take the attacks." He groaned, knowing that he had stronger Pokémon to back him up. <That's what I thought.> Jenna huffed, getting a nasty squirt of water in her eyes from the Staryu's stinging shower. She did have all of that nice, oily fur that made it easy to adapt in water, but it wasn't the best protection against water type moves in general. She shook some of it off, clearly a bit aggravated that she received a bath this late in the day. Seeing that she had no other offensive moves at the time being, she charged ahead with another Tackle attack, aimed at the red 'heart' on the Staryu. Zane smirked, oh he hit a nerve did he? He chuckled to himself and watched the battle rage on. "Quite a stubborn Bidoof." He said, smirking. Oh, he was gonna enjoy this a lot.
Astro doubled over in pain as the Bidoof hit his red button. He flopped to the ground and groaned. He got up slowly and shook himself off, that took a lot out of him. Enough with the Water Gun, screw that, he was going in. He lifted himself into the air and spun towards the Bidoof in a full out Tackle.

"You don't have that much of a vocabulary, do you?" Susumu asked, annoyed that his Bidoof was the only topic of discussion. Just because Jenna didn't like to take orders very well didn't mean that she was a bad Pokemon. Plus, he was training her fairly well at the moment. He could easily see some kind of improvement happen over time. "Tackle, though? I thought Water Gun was stronger." He commented, a bit surprised in the change of tactics. Another brilliant thing was that Tackle wasn't the most accurate thing in the world, but knowing Jenna at this point, she wasn't going to want to move. Acting as if she had something to prove, dangit. What was with her? Still. According to what a TD member once told him, moves were stronger if they had stab. Tackle wouldn't, unless the Staryu was a normal type. Judging from how well Jenna endured it compared to the Water Guns, despite her growing weakness, she seemed to be pretty good. <Just stay down already.> She hissed, rather furious that Tackle was her only offensive move, while this...thing had two attack moves! What was that?! She charged with another Tackle, only bleeding ever so slightly from where the Staryu punctured her skin. { Jenna } Level 9 Weakening More...Hit by Tackle Uses Tackle

Zane smirked. "I'm sure she'll listen in time, just not now. Take it and attack" Zane commanded Astro.
Astro was ready, as the Bidoof came closer he readied a Water Gun. Then she got closer, and closer, and right...now! Astro let the Water Gun lose at the Bidoof as she Tackled him. He stood his ground though, digging his legs in deep in the ground to stay up. But the Water Gun was supposed to hit her close range, lets just hope Astro was right.

'Agh!' Susumu swore mentally when the Water Gun hit at close range, forcing a critical hit on his poor Bidoof. She yelped as the water blast sent her flying in the opposite direction, even going as far as to hit her sensitive underbelly. With spirals in her eyes, she moaned in pain as she was unable to battle. "Yeah, yeah. Eventually. " He sighed in response to Zane's comment. He was working on it, honest. But she had just the kind of personality that he doubted that he could hold a tight leash on her-- or that anyone would be able to. Now to decide on his second Pokemon choice... 'Staryu has water. Michi would be perfect. The only problem is how strong that Zigzagoon he has, and whatever his third choice is.' He thought, at first considering sending Ken in for Stealth Rock, but that was pointless if the Staryu could take him down with one attack. Returning the Bidoof into her Pokeball, he swiftly switched Pokemon before he lost a turn altogether. "Finish it with Shock Wave." He huffed, making sure that all of Jenna's work wasn't for nothing. The Chinchou appeared with a shy smile towards the Staryu as electricity cackled around its two light orbs. Then, in an uncontrolled blast a shock wave of electricity danced both in the air and on the ground.

Astro was struck with the Shock Wave. He instantly fell to the ground, his jewel in the center blinked as a sure sign he as out. Zane frowned as he returned him to his Pokeball. How was he supposed go up against this? Oh well...
He threw out Herme's Pokeball. The Zigzagoon came out, happily licking his lips after his meal. <What'cha need boss? Oooh, battle time eh?> he smirked happily as he got up on his hind legs. <Let's go!> He said happily. "Lower defense and attack." Zane said calmly. Hermes wagged his tail cutely at the Pokemon then he went in for a Tackle on it. His body was fluffed out to make it seem like he was bigger than he really was.

First Round: +1 Level for Jenna. +2 Levels for Staryu. Second Round:+1 Level for Michi. +1 Level Jenna +1 Level for Staryu
Susumu grinned when they took out the Staryu without any problems, at least for Michi. It only meant that Jenna was on the right track after all, probably making her a good opener for most battles. He'd have to experiment more with turn order, but Michi was proving to be a strong second in this 3 on 3 match. The second Pokemon that appeared was a Zigzagoon, the one he saw earlier. 'Smart, keeping his last Pokemon a secret.' He thought with a nod to himself, mostly thinking about how this was going to work. He was momentarily distracted when the Zigzagoon wiggled his tail with an adorable expression, to Michi's dismay. He shyly tried to hide his face in response to the Tail Whip. When the tackle came closer, it sure snapped Susumu out of his thoughts. "Take the hit, and get it with bubble." He called, wincing a little as Michi got tackled backwards. The electric fish wasn't as defensive with physical strikes, but he took it well enough with a grunt. Inhaling the crisp late fall air, expanding his body ever so slightly, he shot out a small stream of weak bubbles at the Zigzagoon. It would've been annoying, with the possibility of lowering speed. "Back it up with Supersonic." He added, remembering his lesson from last time when he used Bubble second, which ended up messing with the supersonic and making it less effective. The Chinchou let out a weak chirp, stopping the flow of bubbles as he tested out his voice super quick. Satisfied that he could make the right kind of sound, he let out an extremely high pitched squeal, at a frequency so high that most humans over the age of 20 couldn't hear it. Susumu did hear the effects, and it still made him uncomfortable each time he heard it.

Hermes took the bubble attack pretty well, the wet made his fur get all flat against his body. He shook it off only to become a fluff ball afterwards. He snarled. <Alright, who's making me look like a fluff ball?> he called out as he shook the last drop of water off. Then, a loud sound came to his ears. Luckily for him he covered them just in time.
Zane frowned. Two vs 3 Pokemon, the outcome was simple: he'd lose. Oh well, never hurts to try right? "Same attack." Zane said calmly.
Hermes once again wagged his tail at the Chinchou. <Yeah, you want some of this don't cha? I know you do!> Hermes taunted before he went in for a Tackle on it

'Crap. Defense is going down. Gotta slow'em down. Slow'em down.' Susumu's mind raced as the much faster Zigzagoon tackled into Michi, feeling a bit guilty as the Chinchou let out a weak cry. Sure, he acted like a baby sometimes, but he would be alright for now. The Zigzagoon might've been barking an awful lot, but it didn't look all that tough. <I-I'm not calling you a liar, but I didn't want it.> Michi shyly ducked his head, mumbling a few words as a moist fin rubbed the injured area. Ah, that had hurt. He didn't like those kinds of attacks, but he felt good enough to keep going, even wondering if Hermes was going easy on him. "Michi, time for your favorite combo. Thunderwave." He ordered, striking a strong hint for the Chinchou to pick up on. Michi clearly knew what he was talking about, as electricity began to dance upon the two orbs on his heads. Whipping them around cause he whips his hair back and forth, he forced the electricity right out of them, causing them to dance all over in an almost unpredictable manner. "Good, now stop and use bubble." Susumu could at least say that this battle was going rather well, at least due to his confidence in one of his strongest battlers. The Chinchou stopped producing the weak electricity, eyes focused on the Zigzagoon as a weak spray of bubbles shot out of his mouth. If this didn't slow down their opponent at first, then try, try again.

Hermes was hit by the weak jolt of lightening, but thought nothing of it as he was still able to move. Then, the bubbles came at him. The electric shocks in his fur made the water stick in his fur. It was slowing him down! Hermes tried to shake it off but for some reason it wouldn't dry. <Curse you!> Hermes yelled out, followed by a lot of yelling.
Zane rolled his eyes at Hermes, only to think of a combo to help shake it off. "Tail Whip and a speedy Tackle."
Zane commanded.
Hermes shook his tail at the Chinchou once more before he headed in for a speedy Tackle, not for the attack but to also dry himself up. With the speed he was going it was sure to dry himself off.

"Speedy Tackle? I don't think you know what Thunder Wave does." Susumu had to actually rethink what the trainer was saying before it fully registered in his mind. Michi was still on land, which would've made dodging a problem, but he has proven himself quick in some situations. Some things were more evened out now, especially when he saw some of the tiny bubbles cling to the Zigzagoon's fur, managing to slow him down a bit. "Dodge what you can, then Shock Wave." It sounded like a good plan, right? The Tail Whip wasn't speedy at all, and all the fish really had to do was hop a bit closer to the Zigzagoon's side, an effective dodge from the defense lowering ruse. The Tackle did come as a surprise, and managed to knock him back somewhat. Grunting in annoyance from the blow, seeing that physical defense wasn't his specialty, he tried to endure it the best he could. <Susumu!> He hissed, having a tad too many commands to know which one to pick. "Shockwave." With narrowed eyes, he told Michi to use his strongest attack (which in comparison to Bubble, pretty much anything was stronger). Wild bursts of electricity gathered around his light bulbs, before sending them out in an unpredictable pattern. The random spurts that had a bit of power in them, and could not be dodged unless one was especially clever.

Zane gritted his teeth. Now wasn't the best time to explain he didn't have three Pokemon but it was the best time too. "This would probably be a bad time to say that I only have two Pokemon." Zane said coldly. Oh yeah, bad for him but good for Shamu. Of course.
Hermes yelled as the shocks went through his small body. He was then burnt to a crisp once it was done and coughed. <Oy, that's some shocking news ain't it boss?> he said weakly. He got up slowly and shook his head. One last attack he could put in! He wagged his tail one more time at the Chinchou before he headed in for a Tackle.

'Two Pokemon?! Well, I bet he wishes he caught that Abra.' Susumu thought with a sweatdrop, wondering whether he should use a third Pokemon or not under these circumstances. Actually, Michi was handling the battle pretty well, so he figured that the three versus two match wouldn't have been such a problem if he didn't lose his second Pokemon. "Ah...that sucks. I didn't think I was fighting a trainer that was just starting out." He scratched at his blonde hair, shivering as a cold wind blew around specifically to mess it back up again. He felt bad for the guy, kind of, but he had this arrogant middle school attitude about him that just irked him. What was with the cold angst? <You...that was really bad.> Michi just stared at the weakened Zigzagoon, but found his personality somewhat enjoyable to be around. Hermes had something witty and funny about him, even if they were competing against each other. The Tail Whip easily lowered his defenses, making him even more vulnerable to physical blows, which was proven by that painful Tackle. He yelped, noticing a big difference in power as he tried to shake off the pain, though all he could really do is wince. "Righty-o then. Supersonic and Shockwave." Nodding to the Chinchou, he figured that this was the best way to act in the battle. If the Confusion didn't get the Zigzagoon, then another Shockwave would certainly do some damage. Michi nodded quietly to himself, before letting out a painful high frequency sound, something that only the most sensitive of ears could hear (specifically Pokemon). Hoping that did enough to cause some kind of chaos, the familiar crackle of electricity gathered in his light bulbs as they dangled in front of him. All he could do was close his eyes and let loose the unpredictable Shockwave, knowing that someone was bound to get hit. ::chinchou::

Zane scowled. Though the Abra was stupid and useless it probably would have hurt to capture it. Oh well, what's done is done.
Hermes heard the Supersonic, making the world turn up-side-down. He wandered around in circles trying to figure out what was going on. <Duuuhhhhh> was his only say in this matter. That's when the Shock Wave hit him, his fur stood on end as he was shocked. He fell to the ground and groaned. Ouch, Hermes lost, and his burnt fur proved it.
