Silva smiled as the Shroomish replied with gentle "Shroom shroom" sounds. It was quite amusing to him.
Sentret however, wasn't as charmed as Silva with this new arrival. <Piss off, or I'm going to scratch your eyes out.> Sentret warned the Shroomish, showing of his sharp claws.
His tail flicked annoyed from side to side. Silva noticed this and frowned. "Sentret, calm down or you're going back into the pokeball." He warned, showing the ball to him. That worked, and Sentret gave up angrily, picking up the can and turning away from both of them.
"So, you're a grass type, I imagine, You don't really smell like flowers...but then again, you are a mushroom." Silva contemplated.

<Oh, did I hit a nerve?> Shroomish taunted the Sentret, obviously enjoying his own position of power. The trainer was standing there bossing his Pokémon around, meanwhile the Shroomish was quite comfortable, eating the food and not being told off at all for how rude he was being. Granted, this was probably because Silva couldn't understand a word the two Pokémon were saying, but it was funny nonetheless. And Shroomish wasn't about to just give up and be nice.
Shroomish glanced at the trainer. Despite the fact that the man couldn't understand him, he replied anyway. <Quite right. I'm most definitely a grass type.> Turning toward the Sentret, he taunted, <Which is most certainly better than you, buddy! Just a simple Normal-type Pokemon, never destined to be anything better!> He was quite the spiteful Pokemon, wasn't he? Well, that didn't bother him at all.
Totally unphased by the anger of the Sentret, Shroomish ate another couple bits of food, quite enjoying himself.

Poor Sentret. Everyone seemed to be picking fights with him. He decided to curl up and go back to sleep. Screw both of them.
Silva thought the little grass critter was quite fun. "How did you get injured like that? If you want, I can take you to a center to get healed, you know." He offered. But that did mean he had to capture the Shroomish in a pokeball, didn't it? After all, the center only healed trainers Pokémon. Silva offered the Shroomish an empty pokeball, wondering how the other would reply to that. ::modcoin::

::shroomish:: Pokemon encounter ! The Shroomish snickered when he saw that the Sentret had given up on the argument altogether and 'd just gone to sleep. Silva seemed to be unfazed by the querulous action of her own pokemon, amusing the little plant-type even more.
He felt a small chill of surprise run through him as Silva asked if he wanted to be healed. His desire to rid himself of the pains on his body contrasted his instinct not to trust humans, who had always tried to trick him or battled for the selfish want of experience and not for the necessity of defending themselves. His trained senses screamed at him not to go with the trainer.
However, at that very moment he heard a rush of wind through the trees and the squawking of wing-flapping predators. Instantly panic soared through the mushroom and a lump formed in his throat. He had to decide fast. Quickly he chose the path designated for him by Silva. <Yes, yes, take me with you!> He said in a low, yet loud whisper.
The birds seemed to have caught his scent, and the sound of their wings flapping was nearing ever closer. Judging by the loudness, there was certainly more than just one.

Silva was enjoying the gentle moment together until he suddenly heard the noise. "Birds?" He asked gasping. He gently (though hastily) picked up the Shroomish, pressing the little scared mushroom against his chest. "I won't let them hurt you." He promised, slipping Shroomish into a fold of his wide clothing, so had his hands free again. He quickly picked up his belongings.
Sentret was galloping down his last remains of food, not wanting the birds to have any of it! Silva hung his bag and mandolin over his shoulder. "Lets try and run, okay?" He asked. But Sentret gave him the cold shoulder and ran ahead of his owner.

Shroomish squealed in discomfort as he was hastily picked up by the Trainer and bodily placed in some form of clothing. He snuggled down and made himself comfortable, trying to appear as small as possible. Two Spearow flew over the trees. As the male spotted Shroomish and indicated to his mate, the female soared down and grabbed the top of Shroomish's head with her beak, trying to pull the little mushroom up with her. He squealed in pain and tried to clutch tighter to Silva, eyes closed in terror. Meanwhile, the male stayed above and regarded the Sentret with his beady eyes. He would let his mate try first, then aid her if she needed it.

Silva was getting really angry at this point. With a sharp *THUD* he hit the Spearow on the the head! "Go away! You're not having Shroomish!" He shouted, hoping his loud voice would scare him off.
[[Silva used Pound? Silva used Growl? It was not very effective? ^^; ]]
He remembered he had one trick up his sleeve. The Hoothoot he had captured yesterday evening. He didn't know if the Hoothoot would obay him any better that Sentret did, but he had to try. These Spearow were fast and nasty buggers, and they wouldn't give up their prey. Silva took Hoothoot's pokeball from his belt and released Hoothoot into the open air. He flapped in in slight confusion. But he was a clever pokemon, priding himself to be one of the brightest of bird Pokémon. He noticed the Spearow attacking his new trainer, and he wasn't having anything of that. Flying right at the male, sped forward to tackle the Spearow with his full body.

The Shroomish squealed in pain as the female’s sharp talons dug into his grass type body, making him especially weak to whatever she did to him. He would’ve liked to say that their appearance was an apparition, but he had known for quite a while that they would be looking for him. He could still smell his best friend Sunkern on the female’s heated breath, making him sick to his stomach. He clung to Silva with his life on the line, gasping from the release of pain when he successfully swatted her away.
<You jerk. Do you realize how powerless you are compared to a Pokémon? And yet…you hit me.> The Spearow sniffled, feeling a faint scintilla of pain from where Silva had struck her. As if that wasn’t enough, she had been tackled down to the ground by a fat Hoothoot. His weight nearly crushed her as she was helplessly swept away from her prey. Growling in annoyance for his interference, her beak started to glow with a weak power, and in a sudden furry she pecked at wherever she last felt the Hoothoot’s presence.
<Hey, bub. You can’t treat my girl like that.> The male Spearow cawed, leering at Silva. With each ominous step he made towards the human, the more intense his desire was to castigate him for treating his mate in such a violent manner. It was obvious that Pokémon had to eat others to survive, and as far as he knew, that Shroomish was wild.

Sentret was ahead in the bushes, making himself comftable while looking smug. See! His owner didn't need him! He had that stupid owl. But as the other Spearow attacked Silva, he felt a hint of discomfort. This two against one, wasn't it? And Silva hadn;t been unkind to Sentret. Actually, he'd been kind to Hoothoot and Shroomish too. Was that the guy's problem? He didn't fight like normal trainers did...he just wanted to make friends? Maybe it wasn't that he liked others better than his own Pokémon...
Sentret leaped forward and gathered up speed, just as the male Spearow dived down to attack his owner. Sentret leaped up and clung to the Spearow with his sharp nails, scratching at his eyes violently.
[[Sentret used Scratch!]] Hoothoot was in turn, preoccupied with the female Spearow. The two circled around eachother, glaring at one another, trying to anticipate their next move. Then Hoothoot charged into action, trying to hit the other with a sharp Tackle.
[[Hoothoot used tackle!]]
And Silva? Silva didn't know what to do with the situation. He curled himself up as small as possible, rubbing the quivering Shroomish over it's head. "Don't worry...I'm going to protect you." He repeated in a quiet voice.

The Shroomish looked up at the trainer with doubting eyes, even though Silva was currently cowering and holding him, which meant that the guy could have some use as a shield. But to say that while his two Pokémon were doing all of the hard work? Why, even Fluffy in the back was taking care of the Spearow that was just glaring at the lad. The Shroomish grunted in acknowledgement of the trainer’s words, however, he knew with the injuries he earned from those Spearows kept him in no condition to help the trainer fight them off. He was as useless as this pitiful human, which really wasn’t helping his self-esteem right now.
<H-hey. Where’d you come from?> The Spearow hollered in protest as the Sentret’s claws raked themselves down his feathered body. Getting dragged to the ground due to gravity with the Sentret, he cast the normal type a nasty looking Leer to try and frighten it off. It probably gave the Sentret some time to retaliate, but if it was threatened enough, then he had enough time for an offensive attack like Peck. Beak weakly glowing with the power his ancestors gave him, the flying type move was aimed at the Sentret’s tail, thinking that it would hurt the Pokémon more than a peck anywhere else.
<My love! Be cautious!> The female Spearow warned as she saw her mate get taken down, but it was enough of a distraction for the Hoothoot to make a successful tackle of his own. She hissed as the wound slowly turned into a bruise, something she would most likely feel throughout the night. Wings flapping harder to keep herself in the air, she charged at the Hoothoot with a dreadful looking Peck attack.

Sentret and Hoothoot gave it their all. Neither really to protect Silva but because they both wanted to prove they were stronger than the other. But both took punishment from the Spearow's, their attacks hitting them hard.
They weren't as cruel as the Spearow. Not as experienced. And not prepared to fight to the death. Even though they attacked with all their might, it was clear that they were the underdogs. ::sentret:: [[Sentret used scratch!]] ::hoothoot:: [[Hoothoot used tackle!]]

The female ached from the repeated tackles to her body; a dull pain that seemed to spread further and further with each tackle. She had to be careful, anymore of those moves and she wouldn't feel comfortable for a week, she thought, as the tackle took her sharply on the left flank, causing her to stumble to the ground. Her beak instantly powered up for a retaliation and she thrust it at the HootHoot's stomach in an attempt to damage it.
The male almost let out a squawk of pain as claws ripped at his feathers, before his own beak glowed with the soft light of a Peck, targetting the little Sentret's flank.
If the two Spearow didn't win this fight soon, they wouldn't get that darn Shroomish and that was the prize here, was it not? Said Shroomish was watching the Hoothoot and Sentret battling against the vicious bird pokémon wishing he had enough strength to assist.

Silva called back at his two pokemon. "Come on, we've got to go!" He shouted. At first, neither Hoothoot nor Sentret felt much like falling back, but they both realized they weren't going to be able to defeat the other. They leaped backwards and Sentret took the lead, showing Hoothoot a safe passage through the bushes undergrowth.

The escape route led them to a little clearing where a rather majestic Charizard was lounging in, taking advantage of the little sun that filtered through. It might have even been the one to take down that tree to allow said sunlight in, if the nearby timber was anything to go by.
On the other side of the Charizard, out of sight, laid Blaze, resting for a bit against his Pokémon. He wasn't aware of Silva's presence yet, still resting his eyes for the time being. Ryuuku, however, had his beady eyes riveted on the newcomer, wondering what the boy's next move was going to be.

- The Shroomish was obviously congruous with the trainer's decision to run, seeing that they were clearly outmatched in terms of power. Making a beeline for the hole in the bushes, he followed after Silva with unconscious faithfulness, not even realizing that he could have just split up with the group. Still, even as he stopped to take a quick breather, convinced that the Spearow were long gone, he couldn't help but laugh.
- <You showed them, in a way. Standing your ground, at least. Not bad, not bad.> The Shroomish grinned, mostly impressed with Silva and the Hoothoot. He wouldn't say it, but he was kind of grateful for the Sentret's help too, even if he didn't really fight that much.
- <So. What are you guys gonna do? I feel like I owe ya.> He admitted, looking up at the human with cute eyes. To any other Pokemon, he would've had a tough determination in them. But to people? He was tiny. Of course he was cute.

Silva stopped dead in his tracks as he stood face to face with the dragon. "W-W-What is that...?" He gasped, standing frozen in his track. Then the next moment, Sentret and Hoothoot leaped from the bushes, accidentally tackling Silva in his back.
[[Silva was hit by Tackle!]] Silva fell forward with a cry, managing not to squash Shroomish as he landed on his side. "Are you alright?" He asked, taking the little mushroom pokemon from his robes into his arms. Poor thing.
A second later, Sentret and Hoothoot were shouting at one another, hissing and leering at each other. The two really couldn't stand the other. The slight chance that Charizard hadn't noticed yet was far gone.
Silva only hoped their death was quick and painless.

He heard something annoying and sleepily got out, rubbing his eyes to wake up a bit. What was going on? He heard the sound of pokemon close by, and long with what he supposed was a human. He glanced over at the scene. A bunch of low-levelled pokemon. Last night had been a long one and he really wanted to go back to sleep.
Still, he got up, still leaning on the side of his pokemon. "Hello there," he muttered out, not quite awake yet. "You woke me up, so I guess we should battle," he told the trainer. Blaze looked at the three pokemon around Silva. "Yours?"
Hmm. He was supposed to be doing something. Ah, yes. Stealing pokemon. There wasn't anything too interesting for him to snatch, though. That shroomish, maybe... Blaze wasn't quite in the mood to take on the role of the evil guy. Not first thing in the morning. They'd just have to deal with it, back in HQ. A battle was always fun. Maybe he would take on all three at once? That sounded like quite the challenge.

Silva sat up and rubbed his head. He blinked as a person appeared behind the Charizard. He gasped in relief. "Oh wow...it's not a wild one...I'm-Eh? Battle?" He blinked. Was this other serious? All four of them were in bad state, including Silva, who's forehead was bleeding slightly from being pecked.
"Cut it out you two!" Silva snapped. It wasn't often Silva raised his voice in anger. And now, when he did, Hoothoot and Sentret looked up surprised, and stopped fighting. (for now).
He hadn't expected pokemon training to be this troublesome. Well, at least the Shroomish was grateful. He turned back to the trainer in front of him. "I've never fought before...and this Shroomish isn't mine. I saved him from two mean Spearow." Silva looked over his shoulder, making sure the Spearow hadn't followed him.

● Wants to join Silva's party. - The Shroomish looked at the fighting Pokemon in the background in distaste, unable to believe that they could be so carefree at a time like this. With a stubborn huff, he turned to look at the two with a devious glare, though most of his glare was focused on the annoying Sentret.
- <Fluffy. Shut it.> He growled, turning back to pay attention to the giant, fire breathing dragon that loomed over him. It was big. Like, really big. That mouth could gobble all three of them up if it actually wanted to. He sure hoped that the trainer had some good chains on him, otherwise they were all in deep trouble.
- <Nuthin's stoppin' me from fightin'.> The Shroomish growled, still feeling like he owed Silva his life. His protective feelings were obvious, and he took a bold step forward to the fire trainer, looking completely defiant. His scratches and bruises from the Spearow's assault were still clear on his body, making him seem more like a noble warrior than an injured Pokemon.

This was really a newbie, then. Blaze wouldn't be surprised if he just had those two pokemon, plus what seemed like a wild shroomish.
Did he want that shroomish? Blaze thought about it for a bit, but at the moment, all he really wanted to do was a leisurely battle, maybe allow Ryuuku to have a bit of fun as well.
"Well this will be your first battle, then. It's impolite to turn a challenge down," said Blaze. "Though since my pokemon outrank yours, let's make this a little more interesting and have a three-on-one." He had an almost lazy smile on his face, leaning on a tree while allowing Charizard to step forward a bit, flame on his tail burning brightly.
He looked at his shining black dragon. Ryuuku wasn't worried at all, even a bit curious as to how a three-on-one would work. He knew the result: he would be the victor. But how was he going to take it on? Maybe a nice earthquake attack. The thought of using the ground-shaking move made the pokemon smile. Oh, the charizard was excited for this.
