On skype the other day it was said that if we were to go through the routes with our tougher teams it wasn't really doing the gym challenge over again. While I understand this I was kinda disheartened because I don't know about most people but once I have a team I get kind of attached to it.
I was thinking Gyms and Route Trainers could Scale in level each successive victory over the elite four.
like the first time through it would be what it was now
after winning once
The levels would say scale +10 - +20 of what they were before
After twice +10 - +20 more than what they were last round
ect ect This would keep it a challenge, and allow some better exp on higher mons I would think.
Note this not encompass wild pokemon they would stay the same for their areas to prevent influxes of high level pokemon from the wild, as well as not break the grinding to much.

Well, considering after the E4, you're supposed to start fresh again with only one of your old pokemon (with a stasis stone to take care of that), why should we scale it? If you choose to use higher levelled pokemon, you'll have to deal with the weak 'mons. That'd be my opinion about it <3 Besides, think about the games -- the pokemon didn't magically become stronger for you

And there is the legendary isle which helps you capture stronger pokemon if you need... I think that works perfectly fine for how the RP functions right now.
You personally caught a level 35 Noctowl from the Legendary Isle. So you can definitely build a team that way

Yes toma I could build a team from legend isle the issue is i would like my same current team alot of them are weaker which is cool i want that, but i was just suggesting it for people as a whole.
Ari I was thinking about the games look at G/S The elite four get stronger ater you beat them the first time its the same way in black and white they get stronger after you beat them.

I personally like the idea. I know my character Zac isn't the kind of guy who'd build up his team, manage to go through all the trials and hardships of the gym challenge, beat the elite four then go 'trololol bai guiz' and abandon them all for new pokemon~ then again i'm not sure he'll ever get that far and even if he did if he'd redo the gyms, but still :'D
The main reason I agree with this is the fact there doesn't really seem to be anything to do with strong pokes. :'D If zac for example want to raise his to at long last defeat blaze and demand his pillow back, only to discover its been 'stolen back' for years he'd have to hand out on a super expensive island :'D not cool~

The E4 gets stronger. Not the pokemon in the routes. The E4 will definitely be harder if you ever make it, this round, so don't worry about that But i don't see the point of scaling it for just one person. Maybe two if Jay gets to finish it.
