Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
Blazing pink rose petals fell on this enchanting day, blessing the forest with radiant beauty and a gentle, serene grace. Battling was out of the option tonight; Yakko was relaxing, lying on his back on a steep incline and breathing deeply as he drifted in and out of a light, peaceful sleep. Blooming flowers drifted, and as the rose petals graced the skies, they intertwined lovingly with the cherry blossoms, which drifted aimlessly amongst the petals. The blossoms and petals almost swirled up and into the wind, where Damon was gliding. Gently his blue feathers shifted amongst themselves, making his strong wings glisten like dew on leaves.
Elijah and Scratchy were sleeping on the ground, curled up defensively as a Sandshrew would do to roll around. Eggy was looking up at the moon-blessed sky, chatting amongst himself idly, though one of the eggs seemed bored, and another had fallen asleep. Bored – such a word shouldn’t be used on this perfect night, but alas Damon was exactly that. The Bird Pokémon landed beside Yakko, guarding him fiercely as he gazed up at the star-filled sky. [style=background-color: black; color: violet;]“Nice night, isn’t it?” Yakko attempted to engage Damon in conversation. Ever since he had found him injured that night, which was similar to this, they had been quite close. However, they hadn’t been as close as Elijah and Yakko. Yakko had rescued Elijah from a storm, and it had barely survived.
“Yes,”
Damon said sarcastically, “Though if you count my desire to kill Elijah remotely settling, it would make things a bit easier.” “You know you can’t eat Elijah, Damon,” Yakko sat up and grinned at his friend. Damon’s eyes only sparkled mischievously and he smirked. “Watch me,”
he taunted, though what Yakko said was true. Yes, he didn’t like Elijah that much, but even so he wasn’t going to do anything about it. It was such a lovely night; the smell of the flowers, the flare of the warm, icy moon... Such a pity he couldn’t eat Elijah, but the night was too beautiful to mess up his feathers. He still had to use them, of course – and not just for flying! He wanted to attract some beautiful female Taillow, with feathers that were as sleek as a Raven’s, but as soft as silk. He had the charms, the attitude, and he was as sexy as hell!

Yakko's group seemed to be unaware that they were being watched by pairs of malicious eyes that glinted through the shadows of the forest. A pair of bats hung under a branch, their fangs bared and their attention directed towards the living things that were full of juicy blood, ready for their taking. The Zubats both looked down, waiting for their boss's orders. Their boss was coiled up behind the bushes, his slitted eyes watching the Caterpie's and Eggsecute's every movement. His red tongue flickered out, tasting the air. His mouth watered at the thought of sinking his fangs into the Caterpie and group of eggs. The Ekan's gaze flickered upward to his minions, noting their positions. They knew the plan. Take out the Trainer and eat the others.
The Ekan's tail rattled, giving the Zubats the signal. The two bats quickly spread their wings and began to glide through the dark, their white fangs glistening under the moonlight as they swooped at the Trainer, ready to pierce their fangs into the skin of Yakko.
The Ekans watched from afar, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
A stray drift of blossoms claimed Yakko for a heartbeat and in them he vanished before the Zubat could reach him. For a moment there was no trace of him, and then his head appeared between the two Zubat. “Ooh! Whatcha doin? You gonna bite me and turn me into one of your legions of zombies, or are you trying to play kissy face and hope your dad doesn’t butt in and ground ya?” He said, before he grabbed the two Zubat and planted a big sloppy kiss on their faces with a loud ‘MWAH!’.
The Pokémorph released them and then sped away toward Damon, who was flaring his wings in a sign of aggression. His claws flexed against the branch he was perched on and he took off into the sky to fight the Zubat in their turf. He snortedwhen Scratchy took his spot in the battle, and landed on Yakko’s head to guard him.. Eggy smiled – one of his parts was still asleep – and his eyes glowed. A circle of light headed toward one of the Zubat. Scratchy’s arms spun wildly, and a blaze of sand struck out toward the Zubat, battering everything that it touched...

One of the Zubats fell right into the hypnotic trance and he quickly fell to the ground, falling asleep after the attack. This made the Ekans hiss a bit as he was not expecting his minions to fall so quickly. >Psshhhh< He said before he was hit and exposed by a huge sandstorm that came his way. >Oh no, my cover is blown!< He said as he looked at the other Zubat who looked back at him. The two did not know what to do now that they were in a huge disadvantage in number against the other pokemon. And the sand pierced the other Zubat too so they both felt the damage from it. They did not want to fight as they wanted an easy meal without much struggle, but they were also too hungry to back down now. They needed a plan... And here it was. The Ekans quickly hissed at the four pokemon to scare them a bit and lower their attack, in addition to also possibly scaring them away. >Just surrender and let me feed on you... or else...< He said as he prepared himself to attack. The other Zubat, that wasn't asleep began to fly towards Damon and quickly shot at him with supersonic waves... He looked like the biggest threat at the moment as he had sharpened his claws and readied himself to attack, he was the target that the Zubat had to take out. And just then, the Ekans tried to wrap himself around Eggy who had just put one of his minions to sleep. >Give in and it'll end quickly and painlessly.< He said. ::Ekans:: Intimidate Activated Hit by Sand Storm. Yakko ::Cryogonal:: ::Snubbull:: Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy ----- Soyala ----- Vulcan
As the first Zubat fell asleep, Eggy was about to send another Hypnosis at the second when something curled around his body and tightened. The egg Pokémon’s teeth clenched as his pink shells almost cracked, and it was about to let out a cry when Elijah wriggled out and tackled the Ekans. Eggy bunched up into a tighter group and sent a wave of hypnosis heading toward the reptile, the leading egg frowning angrily.
Meanwhile, Damon was soaring through the air like a bullet alongside the second Zubat. As the supersonic waves hurtled toward him, he let out a bestial roar and swerved into the broken bones of a dead tree; the branches broke up the attack, allowing him to successfully dodge it. Flexing his claws, he honed his five senses and sharpened his instincts before he darted out of the trees once more. His wings glowed and he headed straight for the Zubat that pursued him, leaving streaks of white energy in his wake. He would attempt to use Wing Attack on the Zubat. If he missed, he would swerve up to gain altitude and hopefully evade any further attacks.
Cacnea had jumped up into the air now, and was glaring at the Ekans while sending orbs of green light around it, which would drain the energy if it touched them and transfer it to Scratchy. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Eggy was attempting to attack the Ekans – the ringleader, if they were correct, with a Leaf Storm... Even so, the Sandstorm was making it hard to aim, though Damon's Hone Claws wouldn't be affected by this.

The Ekans was hit with a very mighty and illustrious Leaf Storm that swarmed all around his body. He hissed in spite for the egg bunch that dared to use it so close to him. His poison resistance really helped in lessening the damage, but then the rest of its punk friends joined in on the abuse. <The egg is mine, get off!> He exclaimed in protest, wincing as the Sandstorm beat against his body. It wasn't just him though, even Yakko's team was being hit by it. One giant clustercrap of sand.
<Oy! Bad bad bad!> The Zubat squealed as the Rufflet charged with a bold and statuesque appearance, looking as mean as an assassin. The claws struck his body hard, and luckily he managed to hang in there by avoiding a collision with the ground. The Zubat panted, flying away from the hawk in fright.
He had to escape this featherbrain! As the Ekans wrapped the Exeggcute, he decided to lend a hand. Or a wing. He shot out a weak Supersonic at the Cacnea, despite the sandstorm making things a little hard to see through. The sleeping Zubat was left unharmed this turn.

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
Eggy glared at the Ekans when it was revealed that it was aiming for him, and it bunched together, feeling its life force drained slightly from the Leaf Storm. It always took a lot out of him. When the Ekans wrapped around his shells once more, the smallest egg hopped out, followed by the rest of them before the reptile could get a clear shot. As the Ekans would tighten, it would find itself constricting mere air particles.
In the distance, Damon was lining up for another run, sharpening his claws again and glaring through the Sandstorm as he aimed another Wing Attack – this time for the Ekans. They knew he was the ring leader, so he needed to go down first. With a shriek, everybody else on Yakko’s team noticed, and they each lined up their shots – apart from Cacnea, who had been hit by the ray of confusing light, and was stumbling over the ground dizzily.
“You oppose one of us,” Elijah the Caterpie fired another String Shot. He was the ringleader of this team. “You oppose us all!”

::zubat:: ::ekans:: ::zubat:: The sandstorm whipping around them all pounded their flesh with fine grains of sand, causing minor damage to them all and enough irritation to make the Ekans hiss angrily. Especially as his wrap attack failed him. He tried to rush after the group of Eggs, but was caught in Elijah's string shot. He struggled against the stinky string, but found himself unable to escape before the Caterpie's tackle struck his body and sent him tumbling to the ground where he was then assaulted by the Rufflett's tough attack He hiss in pain, reaching out his tail to try and wrap it around Rufflett's leg and wings while he was attacking the Ekans. The snake tried to wrap himself around the small chick poke'mon.
Concerning the pair of Zubats, their situations flipped around in this round. The sleeping one began to wake up from his slumber, feeling anxious once he remembered what was going on. The barrage, although it hurt something fierce, properly woke him up. Fluttering his wings quickly he lifted himself up into the air, heading after Elijah. "Cut the head off of the dragon..." He muttered, aiming a supersonic attack for the perceived leader of this gang. Meanwhile, the Zubat who had previous been awake, succumbed to the hypnosis and fell asleep on the ground nearby.

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
When the Ekans curled around Damon’s body, he screeched and felt the Pokémon coil around his wings, making him unable to fly. The Pokémon sure wasn’t happy; it smiled dangerously at the Ekans, eyes sharpening with an expression that would scare even Mawely. The carnivorous Pokémon began jabbing the reptile furiously. In the corner of his keen eye, he saw Elijah hit by the Supersonic attack and totter dizzily, spraying a second String shot around, which accidentally draped Rufflet when he wriggled free of the Ekans. The sticky substance glued his feathers together and he backed toward Eggy, flaring his wings threateningly to the Zubat that had confused Elijah.
Scratchy had used Leer and Counter in case anything tried to hit her, her body glowing brightly. While the Sandstorm didn’t hurt her, she felt bad for shoving it on her team mates. Vulcan sat there idly with Soyala on the sidelines, talking about why he should listen to trainers, while the Pokémon was simply itching to join the fight. It wouldn’t though. There was no point.
Used String Shot Tackle on Ekans. String shot missed and hit Damon (Rufflet) instead
Hit by Wrap. Hit by teammate (ELIJAH's) String Shot. -UNABLE TO FLY- Leer and Fury Attack on Ekans. {+3 Attack and Accuracy}
Did nothing this turn.
Used Leer and Counter. -STATUS COUNTERED- Evasiveness +1 stage from Sand Veil.

The Ekans was hit with a tackle and then three strikes from a fury attack and he quickly coiled his entire body up as he was unable to battle any longer. He was completely gone after that last attack and had absolutely nothing left in him to continue. The Ekans stood there, fainting from the attack as a sad and pathetic remnant of his former self. Upon seeing his leader fall, the Zubat that was awake started to get a bit scared that he picked a fight way over his head and decided to head off, leaving his two comrades. The counter did not do anything to him as he took to the air and left. >This isn't worth it! See you later!< He screamed as he took off, although he was struck by the sand storm and slowed down a bit, making it possible to catch up to him if the trainer so chose to do so. The other Zubat lay there, still sleeping as the sandstorm slowly struck him. He was unable to battle as he was still sleeping, and he did not know what just happened to his leader or what could possibly just happen to him. Instead he slept a very peaceful sleep... Awaiting his destruction. ::Ekans:: Hit by Tackle and Fury Attack (X3). Fainted. Levels in the end
::Zubat:: Hit by Sand storm. Counter did nothing. Flying away. Interfere?

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
Seeing the Ekans faint, Yakko smiled and recalled Damon, who was trying to chase after the fleeing Zubat. They might as well let it go. Instead, the Sandstorm slowed down and ended peacefully, and Yakko reached into his slacks, staring at a Pokéball as his Pokémon awaited their instructions. They all stared at him for a minute; one down, one running and one sleeping? Well they couldn’t hurt the sleeping Zubat, nor did they want to hurt the one that was running, even if he was a coward, but what about the Ekans?
Yakko watched it breathe for a moment, contemplating on if he should catch it or not. However, even though it looked like it would be fun to train, it had a bit of an attitude, and Eggy wouldn’t appreciate having to put up with a reptile that potentially ate eggs. Putting the Pokéball back, Yakko decided that it was time to leave, and he recalled the rest of his team apart from Damon, who needed to wash his feathers free of the String Shot. It wasn’t Elijah’s fault.
As not to disturb the Zubat, Yakko picked up Damon and pulled off a string of web from Damon’s wing, freeing one part as he walked further down the path, leaving the two Pokémon to wake up in their own time. Like always, a goofy grin was plastered over his face; one that Damon didn’t particularly enjoy, because it meant that he was getting more inclined to irritate someone with that big mouth of his.
Yakko has recalled all of his Pokémon (apart from Rufflet [Damon]) and has proceeded down Route One. He has not attempted to capture Ekans, has not pursued the fleeing Zubat and has left the sleeping Zubat alone.
The Sandstorm has ended.

The pokemon lay there peacefully while the Zubat left without any harm. Nothing was going to bother them right now, the trainer had left them alone and they were able to go on with their lives. Even though they made the mistake of their lives thinking they could take on this trainer, they did not suffer too badly as they ended up going freely without being a captive to a pokeball, or dying. But as Yakko decided to travel on, he suddenly was stopped by a Petilil who stood in front of him, about to make his biggest mistake ever also. >I am the almighty, all powerful, all great Petilil! Bow down to me or you will lose your life!< He said to Yakko as he stood in front of the trainer. >Don't believe me? You don't want to test my power... I will warn you right now, you do not want to test my power...< He said to the trainer. ::Petilil:: Almighty Petilil telling you to bow before him. Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
Wow, talk about cocky. Yakko’s eyes turned toward the Petilil as it rambled something about being powerful, and he glanced up at Damon, whose face said it all. Damon’s nose flared for a moment and looked like his beak had been flattened, and his dark irises pierced the weird Pokémon before him. Yakko wasn’t amused too much either, wondering what exactly was going through this thing’s head at that time. What was with them running into Pokémon that were either hungry or demanding obedience?
“Ohhhh! I remember who you are now,” Yakko’s mouth turned upward into a grin. This was going to be fun. “You’re that Petilil everyone’s been talking about! Hey, did you know you’d make a fortune renting your head out as a balloon?”
“Can I eat him?” Damon muttered, flexing his talons as he wondered how stupid this Onion Pokémon was. Why was it appearing in front of a Trainer who had a Flying Type? It was either very brave or very foolish.

The Almighty Petilil was a bit disappointed when the trainer and bird did not bow to him. Yakko even decided to make fun of him which he wasn't very appreciative of. >I warned you not to mess with me but you didn't listen... Not you will have to pay the price for that.< He said and he quickly released sleep inducing powders in the air at the direction of Damon to draw him to sleep. >I gave you a chance to get away alive... Now you will be another head I add to my collection!< He said as the sleep powder made it's way to Damon. >I"ll give you one more chance. Bow or you will face my wrath!< He said again. ::Petilil:: Almighty Petilil used Sleep Powder on Damon

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
Sighing, Damon easily blew the Sleep Powder away with a quick flick of his wings and wrinkled his nose at Yakko, who didn’t seem pleased at all. The Petilil was going to use their head as a trophy? What was with this thing? Yakko let out a croaking noise from within his throat that signalled he was about to say something to the weird Onion, and glanced at Damon. The Eagle Pokémon was shaking his head, his irises glittering with annoyance. While Damon would love to tear this stupid thing to shreds, it wasn’t really worth it. It was too stuck up to even consider catching and training – there was nothing they could really do with it but annoy it. Damon wanted to get his feathers washed, not sit around here listening to some spring onion Pokémon make an ass of himself. It wasn’t worth the effort.
“Ehhhhhhh,” Yakko lifted his finger to say something, but then shook his head. “Go home and do some spring cleaning, onion-head,” he said, and then walked past it and deeper into Route One. He’d thought that messing with this thing would be fun, but the problem was that it would just taunt him with threats to take his life. While Yakko knew they were most likely false, he wasn’t going to try and see if Damon could beat it. He was strong enough as it was anyway.
Instead he sat down by a river, placing Damon down and letting him preen his feathers carefully. They were glowing like rubies as the water sprayed them, which made Yakko want to pluck one off and just look at it, but realised that Damon would peck his eyes out if he tried. That wasn’t worth it either. Instead, he gazed through the surface of the water, resting his head on his chin before he released his Pokémon to play in the water. Nearby, the sound of a Ponyta trotting made Yakko realise that Mawely and Spirit had to be roaming in the forest, and he wondered if they would stop by on their Journey to talk or perhaps battle.

*Buzz, Buzz, Buzz* A Ledyba quickly flew it's way toward Yakko, running right into Damon as he was making his way out of something... He must have been in a huge hurry because he did not even stop to apologize to Damon after bumping into her, he quickly got back up and flew away some more in the direction to the left of Damon. The Ledyba was going very fast and was very ignorant of the world around him it seemed. There must have been a problem with him, or maybe something large was coming his way which was why the Ledyba was in such a hurry. Will Yakko and Damon pursue it any further or will they just allow this incident to pass and go unnoticed? *Buzz, Buzz* ::Ledyba:: Ran into Damon and then flew away without saying anything. Follow?

Yakko Damon ------ Elijah ----- Scratchy ------ Eggy
As the Ledyba knocked into him, Damon crashed into the water and flapped wildly, unable to get himself back up onto steady ground. Thankfully a pair of gloved hands picked him up, and he shook his ruffled feathers, his face contorted with rage. The Ledyba left without even apologising! What the fuck?
“I’ll rip his head off,” Damon snarled, trying to fly at it, but Yakko held him back from attacking it and sat him down on the ground. “Your feathers are still stuck together, Damon. Just let it go, ‘kay?” He reasoned. “Besides, it was in a hurry. Perhaps it was being chased or something. You just clean your feathers.” Damon reluctantly agreed, though his talons scored gashes in the earth with frustration, his muscles vexed. Scratchy moved over, standing in the water and gently using her thorns to part the feathers. Soon enough they were clear, but Yakko still couldn’t tear his eyes away from where the Ledyba had come from. Was there something in there...?
Damon has finished cleaning his feathers. Enraged.

A Starly hopped from the bushes where the panicked Ledyba had flown from. He looked left, and then he looked right. When it was clear that he didn't see what he was looking for he turned to Yakko and his poke'mon. "My meal ran off... you wouldn't happen to have seen it would you?" He asked curiously, tilting his head to one side with ease, looking at Yakko almost sideways. He was cautious. Most trainers didn't take well to the idea that poke'mon ate each other (did they all think poke'blocks and poke'food grew on bushes?) The Starly was ready for a fight if this trainer got testy.

::Ratatta:: The starly flew off in the direction that he was directed. In the distance you could hear screaming and crunching sounds. Then, silence. From the top of a tree lurked a purple rodent, trying to prove that he wasn't afraid of heights. A slip of his paw and he was sen tumbling down to the ground in front of the strange Pokemorph in front of him. His leg was killing him and without help he might not make it through the night. Still he tried to stand and walk it off.
