Feeling pretty confident as he gets off of Angela, he returns the large Giratina back into her pokeball before he walks into the gym. "Hello. Gym battle?" he asks in a very sly way as he releases his two Pokémon ready for battle. Feeling exceptionally ready for this situation, his Shiny Blaziken and Light Blastoise appear on the scene ready to take on these Pokémon. "Meet Kaen & Mizu. Whenever you're ready. Tina." he said with a smile as both of his Pokémon stood there awaiting the gym leader's first moves.

"A guest? At last, our first has arrived." An older gentleman opened the doors for the Gym Leader, smiling leisurely at Jay for making it this far in his journey. Everyone started out at Route 1, and needed a certain amount of badges to challenge this gym, so challengers were hard to come by. Out of the darkness of the rooms, a young woman emerged with questioning eyes and soft brown hair.
"Thank you, grandpa. Wish me luck." She smiled at her grandfather for being so courteous as she walked to her place in the battlefield. It had very rocky surroundings, full of hiding places for her swift yet tiny Pokemon to run around in. The opponent himself looked rather dashing, and his Pokemon at hand made him even more impressive.
"Welcome to the Foret Magique City Gym, I'm Tina. Let's get started, trainer." She smiled gently, releasing a Budew onto the field. With a tiny chirp, she waited for her trainer to release the next Pokemon. No way was little Bitty going against these big guys on her own!
"Whopper, it's show time." She let out the Steelix without any more hesitation, and the giant beast appeared right next to the incredibly small Budew. A very unlikely pair to battle together, but she knew how to make it work. "Water Sport and Grass Knot on the Electivire." Since she had the honor of starting, might as well.
Bitty cried with vigor as the buds on her head untwisted themselves, and a giant spray of water covered everyone in the field. Tina didn't mind though, and neither did Whopper. "Screech and Rage on the Blaziken!" She wanted Whopper's stats up, and fast. The beast let out an annoyingly high pitched sound at the Blaziken, and Bitty sent out large vines at the Electivire in an attempt to pull it down to the ground. Then, the mighty Whopper roared in anger as he charged head first at the fire chicken.

Jay smiled but was a bit worried/strange when he heard that he was the first challenger. ”First challenger?” he spoke with a peculiar smile on his face. It was strange that he was the very first challenger for this girl. ”How long have you been the leader of this gym?” he asked, as his Pokémon were both out and about ready to attack and start the battling.
It began very quickly, the rocky terrain would cause just a bit of a hassle but with a simple smash the gym leader’s chosen environment would be nothing more but some rubble. ”Good luck Tina.” were the final words he spoke before her mismatched sized Pokémon began trying to set up the scene.
The Light Blastoise smiled as he began, she watched as the cute little grass Pokémon released a large amount of water making fire typed moves a lot less effective. She then noticed the Budew let out her grass knot attack taking a decently large chunk (for the level difference) of health from the light water type. ”Goodjob Mizu!” Jay spoke happy that Blastoise made it out alive.
The Shiny Blaziken felt the screech attack and felt as his defense lowered. The Steelix then used the rage attack on the fire Pokémon. ”Okay here we go guys. Bulk-Up & Blaze Kick on the Steelix. Mizu, Use Aqua Tail on the Wopper!” Jay wanted to get rid of the Steelix first, if they could do that, they could easily finish it off. It seemed like it would be the hardest thing to do, but they could do it together as a team.
The fire chicken started by bulking up quickly, he raised both her attack and defense before her legs began to emit a powerful flame, Kaen’s flame kick appeared as it tried to burn the Steelix and get it away from him. Mizu continued next, he withdrew into his shell and with a furious rage used his aqua tail attack trying to slam into the Steelix with a strong force.
summary; they both observed the moves being done, Blastoise got hit by the Grass Knot, the Water Sport eliminated Kaen's fire advantage. Kaen got hit by Rage. They both began their attack, Kaen used bulk-up and blaze kick on the Steelix and right after Mizu used his Aqua Tail.

The Steelix awaited for the other Pokemon to attack. He readied himself as he saw the Blazeiken use Bulk up. Oh this was going to hurt. Unless he could somehow dodge it before the hit came. The Blaziken came at him finally and Whopper dug into the ground. Making himself flat and letting the Blaziken fly past him instead. Lifting his head up he turned to see where the other Pokemon went only to have a large wave of water come crashing in on his back. He fell forward and skidded across the battle field. Whopper tried getting up but due to his type being half ground the move impacted his health a lot. He fell back on the ground with a groan, sad to only have gotten one turn in.
Bitty jumped up and down. Hey, was she being ignored? Tina thought for a moment before answering the Trainer's question. "It has been a while since the last challenger." She said, aftering returning Whopper to his Pokeball. Poor Whopper. "Well, I've been leader of the gym for a long time now, can't exactly say how long." Tina said, taking another Pokeball. Throwing it on the ground in a flash of light a Torchic was released. Elf looked around. It's been a while since he was out on the battle field. About time!
"Bitty, use Growth then Grass Knot on Blastioise! Elf, use Sand-Attack and Peck on Blazien!" Tina said. Bitty used her grass element to make herself grow in size. Not enough to be as large as the other Pokemon but at least two inches or so. Then vines traveled through the ground and popped up in front of the water type, in hopes of knocking it down with a thud. Elf scratched at the ground to dig up some dirt. He then threw it at the Blaziken's eyes before charging at the large chicken. He jumped up and tried pecking its head.

Jay smiled at Tina, ”Good job. It’s a lot harder to be these gym leaders. You hardly get battlers.“ he mused before looking at both his fire and water pokemon, they kept their eyes on their competition. They finally finished their moves and stood back on their side of the arena. In one quick sweep, the giant Steelix had fainted and been replaced by a Torchic, Kaen’s previous evolve form. ”Let’s go! Take the moves and retaliate.” Jay said very courageously watching as his pokemon take the attack of the gym leader’s.
Mizu was hit by the Grass Knot and was slammed onto the ground once again, The light blastoise nodded and pushed himself back up for the second time. This Grass Knot attack took way too much out of the Blastoise and this made the water type very angry, he waited for his trainer to command him but Mizu was very ready to continue to fight. Kaen on the other side was hit with the sand-attack as well as the peck attack. Blaziken was hit on the head and both the fire and water type wanted to attack quickly. ”Let’s go Mizu and Kaen! Use Hydro Pump on the Torchic! Use Fire Punch on the Budew. Go!”
They both quickly switched targets, Blastoise launched his hydro pump at the Torchic aiming his cannon straight onto the fire pokemon, Blaziken’s hand lit up with fire as he tried to use his fire punch on the grass type.
summary; both pokemon got hit by the sand attack, peck and grass knot. mizu aimed his cannons and used his hydro pump on the torchic and kaen used fire punch on the budew.

Bitty happily stood tall after bringing down the water turtle. Her size and type didn't matter, she was one tough little Pokemon. The Budew suddenly saw a strong light source coming from behind her. Turning around she saw the Blazien come at her with his fist. She screamed and jumped out of the way, dodging the Fire Punch. The Budew rolled on the ground and then jumped back up on her feet. That was too close for comfort. The Bitty wasn't going down that easily, she still had fight left in her.
Elf jumped down from pecking at the larger version of himself. He then saw blue come at him from the side. Ducking, the Torchic made himself flat on the ground. Letting the Hydro Pump go right over his head. Once that was over he looked up and sighed in relief. Still in this, for now.
Tina watched her two Pokemon make a dodge and sighed. That was too close. Smiling, Tina looked at the other Trainer. "Those are some strong Pokemon you have." She said. Bitty and Elf stood side by side on the battle field. Waiting their orders the two Pokemon were really small compared to the others. "Same attacks again! But this time, Elf use Focus Energy!"
The Budew went first. Using Growth she became even larger in size. Now looming over the Torchic by two feet. Then, the vines traveled through the ground once more. Popping right in front of the Blastoise to trip. Elf closed his eyes and began glowing in a slight light. He was focusing all his energy to try and get a critical. Then, his eyes shot open and he lunged at the Blaziken with his Peck ready to peck.
::Budew:: dodged used growth & Grass knot
::torchic:: dodged used focus energy and peck
(ooc// Im only making them both dodge to make the battle last one more post LOL)

In all honesty, this sort of tedious battles were really getting to the guy, if it wasn’t for his pokemon helping him collect the new badges that he needed to succeed with the league, he wouldn’t have been doing this. He heard a rumor though, that the next gym’s pokemon had a unique aspect to it. They had the same level of pokemon that you were using, definitely a strange twist, it would be a quick little challenge to see if Jay could handle the severity of the seventh gym along with the league challenge hopefully, if it wasn’t just for these people against him, he felt like he really just needed to prove to himself that he would be able to do it. Was he alone? Possibly, but he wouldn’t let that stop him. He spent the entire four years on his on, and he could do the rest of them alone, hopefully.
Jay watched as his opponent’s dodged, it wasn’t as if he didn’t want to win, it’s more that each gym was pretty good at learning how to dodge and protect themselves from higher leveled opponents. ”Thanks. I’ve been training them very hard.” he said with a smile to the gym leader, he was happy that someone could at least appreciate the work he put into his pokemon. ”Take the attacks. Use Water Pulse Mizu; and Kaen. Use Hi Jump Kick! Go” he spoke his commands and watched as both of his pokemon decided to use their moves.
The Light Blastoise was hit by a mediocore Grass Knot for the third time? He was sick and tired of falling but his opponent was not the Budew, it was the torchic. The torchic was having it’s own little adventure as it tried to Peck at the large evolve form. The Blaziken just laughed as he leapt in the air and aimed straight for the grass type with his Hi Jump Kick. Mizu put his hands together and aimed his water pulse straight at the torchic hoping to finally be finished.
Ooc| it’s fine; I wouldn’t expect it any other way.

Bitty thought she had the Blastoise. She thought the Grass knots and Growths would have done it! Apparently the water turtle was a very high level Pokemon, way beyond her power to even make a dent. The Blastoise had went down and gotten right back up again! Geez, how high level was he? Bitty then looked to see the Blazien was heading right at her, leg out and ready to kick her. She screamed and was knocked back hard. Though she was a poison type as well the level difference was against her sadly. The Budew was blasted past her partner Torchic who wasn't having any better luck. Elf couldn't believe that the Blazkien could just get up again. No scratch on him what so ever. Then, blue blinded his sight from the side and soon he found himself being blasted by water. He was shot backwards and fell next to his teammate, Bitty. The two small Pokémon laid there. The two Pokémon were defeated very quickly, but at least withstood the attacks better than Tina had expected. Tina found the fun battle to be over quick and return the two to their Pokeballs. She then held out the Lilliputian Badge to the Trainer. "Congrats! That was a fun battle. You earned the Lilliputian Badge and 8,000 PD." At least she wasn't going to be broke, she hasn't given out money in a while. YOU WON! +8k PD (admin help here) Blastoise & Blaziken gain 3 levels for defeating the Gym Leader's Pokémon. + 3 levels for the entire party (that means Blastoise & Blaziken too dang dude
