The String Shot attack wrapped around his mouth, just like before, and he let out a small grunt of annoyance as his mouth was clamped shut. He pulled at the string that clamped his mouth shut, but before he could do anything, the Metapod hit him again by ramming into his stomach. Lan fell to one knee as he felt the wind leave his body, and he had to stop and gasp for air as a result. But when he had it back, he was going to show this Metapod no mercy at all. He tried to launch an Ember attack that would incinerate the String that bound his mouth but also launch at the Bug Pokémon. He was successful, and the string tied around his mouth burned to an unidentifiable crisp...but the amount of Ember that had managed to escape his maw was only about half as strong as it usually was. But hey, something's better than nothing, right? Following up his freed maw, he let out an angry Growl. He wasn't going to let this happen to him a second time. ::Charmander:: Hit by String Shot and Tackle! Critical Hit! Used Growl and Ember on Tithonus(base power: 20 x 1.5 = 30)! [SPD: -1]

The flame, although weakened came at Tithonus and even with the weakened power, it was strong enough to take the bug out once and for all. Tithonus could have still continued if he really desired, but he gave it up as he just did not like getting burned by the fire lizard. >You win.< He said as he fell to the floor, pretending to have fainted. Blitz sighed and returned his Metapod to his pokeball. Even when he evolved, he was still as pathetic as ever... His next Pokémon released as the gigantic Pokémon that he had used previously. Super Diglett took the field, Broseidon with his massive pecs. And with one quick swoop he ran really fast at the Charmander with his arm out in an attempt to knock him out with a fast and incredibly powerful rock smash. The attack was strong enough to smash rocks... Just imagine the damage it could do to this lizard... Hit by Ember. Fainted +2 level for Charmander, +1 for Metapod Sent out. Used Rock Smash Metapod (7.5), Super Diglett (13), Glaceon (10), Yanma (12)

As Lan saw the Metapod collapse, he had a smug look on his face. Well, with that little Pokémon down, there was just one more thing to deal with right now. The next Pokémon. But what he didn't expect was a very big and very buff Diglett to come out and show himself. Lan actually physically gulped a bit as he saw Broseidon emerge and suddenly charge at him. He was rooted to his spot and couldn't get out of the way of the incoming fist. He felt the Super Diglett's Rock Smash hit him hard in the face, actually sending him flying backward through the air. His back smashed hard against the back wall, and he fell forward onto the ground, both with a loud grunt of pain. But, he managed to get back to his feet, ready for more.... But Tyro shook his head. No, this was not the time to be using Lan. He needed to save him for later, just in case he was needed. So instead, he called out to his Charmander. "Hold on, Lan. I think Haru wanted a piece of this guy. Let's give him a shot." With that, Lan nodded and stood down, keeping himself from attacking and stepped back over to his Trainer's side. Then, Tyro took out another Pokéball and opened it up...and the newly-evolved Haru emerged in a flash of light. The Lucario stood, ready for action. ::Charmander:: Hit by Rock Smash! Switched out for Haru! ::Lucario:: Switched in for Lan

Broseidon smiled when he saw that his opponent was now the fully evolved Lucario instead of the weak Riolu he had to fight in his previous match. >You will be more of a challenge.< He said while smiling before he unleashed the first move of the match. He gave a very loud grunt as he prepared himself to attack and he quickly sent out a veil of sand to trap the Lucario. >I allowed your friend to leave but don't think you'll be so lucky. You are not going anywhere!< He said out loud. The Arena Trap kept the Lucario from leaving and then Broseidon quickly took his fist and smacked the ground with intense power. >Lets see how you deal with my fist of power!< He said as he released an incredibly powerful Magnitude at the direction of the Fighting and Steel pokemon. >Better hope this doesn't sting you too hard!< He winked... knowing full well this would be super effective if it hit. Arena Trap: You can't escapeUsed Growl and Magnitude 7 (Super Effective attack)

As Haru was called out properly, there was one little problem. Tyro had forgotten to take into account a Diglett's Arena Trap ability. So why, then, was Lan able to be recalled? Ugh, how could he have made a mistake so big? It was obvious what was happening.... The Super Diglett before him wanted to fight the Lucario, rather than the smaller Charmander. A rematch, he supposed. He counted himself lucky...he might even be able to pass that mistake off as predicting what the Super Diglett would do. Phew...it was a good thing he hadn't panicked about that when the thought of Arena Trap crossed his mind. Tyro focused his attention back on the battle.... Would this end the same way as it did last time? Or would things be...different for Haru this time around? The Lucario was definitely more intent on winning this time than he had been before...if that was possible. Haru growled and clenched his fists. He wasn't going to just stand there and let this muscle-bound moron beat him down a second time. But before he could start things off like he had wanted to, the Super Diglett decided to take things into his own hands. As the ground around him started to shake, he decided that he would do his best to ignore the attack and just rush him. So, as the ground around him trembled and he took the heavy blow that was the Magnitude attack, he dashed forward as fast as he could, aiming a fist coated in green energy at Broseidon's stomach. He hoped this Drain Punch would connect, and allow him to recover some of that lost stamina. And with any luck, it might cause the Super Diglett to lose the wind in his lungs, and it might allow him for a second attack. But one could only hope. Regardless, he didn't say anything, and only grunted with the effort of fighting through the pain of that Magnitude and with the effort of his attack. Hit by Growl! Hit by Magnitude! It's Super Effective! Used Drain Punch at Broseidon's stomach! Still has plenty of fight left! [ATK: -1]

The Drain Punch knocked the life out of Broseidon and made him a little light headed for a bit but not enough to stop him instantly at all. He was ready to take this fight to the next level and with a sudden movement, swung his entire fist at Haru, trying to break some bones in the process. The move was recently learned... It was his Rock Smash attack and it had the capacity of breaking rocks, so it could definitely destroy a few bones here and there if need be. Broseidon swung it and suddenly smirked. He was ready to win this battle. He wasn't going to mess around like he did before, this was serious. It was time to let it all out. Go big or go home... And to Broseidon, big was BIGGGG. Hit by Drain Punch. Used Rock Smash.

As Haru felt his fist collide solidly with the Super Diglett's stomach, he smirked and felt some of his strength return to him. Though at the same time, he had not gotten his opponent to recoil from the attack as much as he'd hoped he would. As a result, the incoming fist was unable to be avoided. But, he knew he could brace himself enough so that the final blow wouldn't leave too powerful of an impact. Broseidon's fist slammed hard into his stomach, causing him to growl loudly in pain from the impact. He clutched his stomach and sank down to one knee at Broseidon's feet. That one punch in and of itself seemed crippling to him. And the fact that it was a Fighting-type move against him as a Steel-type didn't help things.... However, he knew how he could counter this. In fact, that was the exact answer. He suddenly jumped up and tried to slam his fist into Broseidon's face with a powerful Counter attack. Tyro watched the battle unfold and nodded. Haru was definitely getting better about his battling abilities.... And to fight a Ground-type Pokémon who knew Rock Smash this well made him a very good Pokémon. The Lucario would definitely come in handy on the road to beating all of the Gym Leaders. He couldn't help but grin to himself about how much he seemed to have improved from his last fight with this Super Diglett. This was sure to be one battle not soon forgotten. ::Lucario:: Hit by Rock Smash! {It's Super Effective!} Used Counter on Broseidon! Starting to weaken [ATK: -1]

The counter came right at Broseidon and smacked hard against him. That wasn't a fun move to be hit by as it doubled his attack and returned it to him. He quickly fell to the floor and began to pant heavily for air as he had just had the living bejeezus beaten out of him. But Broseidon wasn't going to give up just yet, he still had something up his sleeve, a nice move that would tip the favor back to him. He knew it would, it just had to... With a quick stomp on the ground he created a magnitude of level 7 and sent it at the Lucario. >Take this! Grrr!< He grunted after. It was the power that counted, not the thought. (Weakening) Hit by Counter. Used Magnitude 7.

Haru figured he knew exactly what was coming next. After such a powerful move, he probably was not going to let it happen again. So, he did what he thought was best. He jumped into the air, leaping at Broseidon with his forward momentum. And just as he did, the Magnitude took effect, rumbling the ground all over underneath him, but causing Haru himself no actual harm. After the successful evasion, Haru came down at Broseidon quickly, trying to slam another punch hard into the Super Diglett's face with yet another Drain Punch. If this worked, he would have healed a good amount of his strength...even after that last Rock Smash attack. His fist glowed with the green energy it did before as he swung it has hard as he could at Broseidon. As the battle went on, Tyro also occasionally turned his gaze to the side, where his opponent now stood. He wasn't prepared to let a defeat go this time. This time, things were going to be for real. He was going to win, no matter what it took...unless, of course, it was too taxing on his Pokémon. Dodged Magnitude! Used Drain Punch on Broseidon! Starting to weaken [ATK: -1, Dodges: 1]

Seeing the Lucario dodge his attack and come back with a powerful punch of his own made Broseidon cringe a little. He didn't want to be hit by that attack, he knew he didn't want it and could easily tell it wasn't fun if he got hit... Well what was a pokemon to do if he didn't want to be hit? Easy! Dodge the attack. He quickly slid to the side and dodged the attack, hoping it bought him enough time to strike the Lucario back which he did when he slammed hard on the ground a second time. This time he created an even bigger attack then the first time around, this magnitude was much stronger... Even to make the entire arena shake and rumble. This should do it, or at least do enough damage... Dodged Drain Punch. Used Magnitude 9 Super Diglett (13), Metapod (7.5), Glaceon (10), Yanma (12) [/center]

Haru swung his fist, aimed directly at the Super Diglett again...but this time, his fist connected with nothing. He only felt air rush by his fur as the larger, more muscular Pokémon dodged his attack. And he already knew what was coming next. So, by the time the attack started, he was already preparing himself for another evasion. His Aura Sensors levitated as he closed his eyes...and figured out Broseidon's intent. His superior Detect was able to allow him to bounce off of the ground and leap into the air, dodging the attack with ease. Unfortunately, the concentration to use it cost him too much time...and he could not get around to attacking. But it was worth it to not have to take such a heavy blow. <You're not going to hit me that easily!> he growled, obviously irritated at the Diglett's usual strategy. Regardless, when he bounced, he tried to get closer to his opponent, with the hopes that he could hit the Diglett the first chance he could get. As the Magnitude hit, Tyro felt himself stumble slightly...but it was mainly simply because he had not expected the attack to be so powerful, and he had been caught off-guard. He had been watching Haru too closely and hadn't truly been looking at Broseidon at all. "Alright, so he seems to be relying heavily on those Magnitudes...." he mumbled to himself, thinking aloud to try to figure out what Haru should do in this situation. "...Which means that keeping a long-range distance would be very disadvantageous.... He needs to stick close and keep attacking as fast as possible...yeah, that's the best he can do right now, given his disadvantage...." He was thinking about this strangely hard for somebody who wasn't even going to give the commands anyway. Used Detect to evade the Magnitude! Bounced in Broseidon's direction Starting to weaken [ATK: -1, Dodges: 1]

Upon seeing Haru get as close as possible, Broseidon attempted one more Rock Smash, this one straight to the stomach in an attempt to knock the air out of the Lucario. >Bad move getting close. I can fight both ways!< Broseidon laughed as he tried to take a siwng at the Lucario and knock him senseless with a powerful strut. >Come on! You think you can beat me! Come on then!< He grunted some more. He was ready to just put the finishing touches on this... End it with a "kisser"... >YEAH!!!!< He said after attempting the fist punch of doom. Hit by nothing. Used Rock Smash [OOC: Once Broseidon faints, this match is over because I don't have most of those pokemon anymore lol]

As Haru closed in on Broseidon, he heard the Super Diglett's words, but ignored them. No matter what he did, he was going to take it and then counter with a punch of his own. He clenched his fist and it began to glow with a green-ish aura. Just as his Super Diglett opponent swung his fist forward in a Rock Smash, he swung his Drain Punch forward at the same time. Just like his opponent, he aimed low, aiming to slam the fist as hard as he could into Broseidon's stomach. The two attacks crossed each other...but Haru's stopped short, and the green aura dissipated. He stood there, wind knocked out of him, with Broseidon's fist square in his gut, right after delivering a crushing blow. He coughed hard, and sank to his knees, clutching his stomach and groaning in pain from the attack. He fell forward, but caught himself with one of his arms, so he didn't fall all the way down. Regardless, he was still helpless, coughing hard and groaning in pain at Broseidon's feet. Tyro could practically feel the power from where he'd been standing. He actually winced as he heard the loud connection of the attack...and he could practically feel the pain Haru was going through. That blow must have seriously hurt.... He wasn't sure just how much longer the Lucario could keep going. But if he recalled him mid-battle, he'd never forgive him. So, he left him out to fight until it was over for real...for better or for worse. ::Lucario:: Used Drain Punch at the same time as Broseidon's Rock Smash! Hit by Rock Smash! {It's Super Effective! Critical hit!} Coughing hard and is helpless on all fours at Broseidon's feet Weak [ATK: -1, Dodges: 1]
((Aw. Oh well. xP These battles are fun, so we should have another one sometime. xD Maybe when they actually get close to each other again...if they do~))

Broseidon was also struck with an incoming drain punch and he quickly fell on one knee and although not yet prepared. He was quickly absorbed into a red ball as Blitz decided to "give up" on the match even though his pokemon hadn't fainted yet. "You aren't bad kid. Keep in touch." Blitz said to Tyro as he took his leave. He liked the way the kid battled and hoped he had some darkness in him, something he could exploit and get him to Team Death. "You have potential." He spoke before he left... He headed out soon after. Hit by Drain Punch. -Returned. +1 level for both of us. [OOC:] We should battle again. But I do want to finish a few threads first before getting overwhelmed.

Haru growled as he saw his opponent get recalled prematurely.... He was starting to do rather well when Broseidon disappeared. was recalled. He was very annoyed that his opponent was gone just like that. Broseidon was a strong opponent and he wanted to fight it to the end. But apparently it was not going to happen. He stood back up, spitting on the ground, crossing his arms. The only thing that came from his throat was an annoyed <Hmph....>Tyro listened to Blitz and simply nodded. He wasn't actually interested in everything he was saying.... He wanted to complete the battle...but it wasn't going to go on. He sort of shared the same thoughts as Haru on the subject.... He returned Haru back into his Pokeball and heard about how Blitz told him that he had potential.... That got him curious, but he left without another word. "...What was THAT about...?" he muttered to himself. He quickly shrugged it off and went to leave the room once more. He hoped that the two of them would meet in battle sometime soon. ::Lucario:: Level Up! +1 Recalled
