There she sat, Near by her side, playing her guitar as she waited for something to happen. Here at the Trainers Lounge, she had heard that she could find other Trainers who she could fight; who would teach her Pokémon new things and help them to become stronger. John sat by her side, his fur flat as he gazed at the girl, who played her song peacefully. Near was crouching on the chair he sat on, Luna lay across his lap and their paws were entwined. Luna’s head ran up his leg while Near’s was resting over her neck, and his tail curled around his body to rest over her back. The music always seemed to do that to the Absol Pokémorph; perhaps it was his acute hearing that did it, but it was still cute to see him dozing with Luna around.
She smiled at the sleeping forms and looked around. Perhaps her music would attract someone soon.

Sam walked near the trainer and found her playing some very beautiful music on her guitar. He was interested to see who was playing and when he found a beautiful girl was the one with the strings. He was interested and found himself walking towards her until he noticed a Absol Pokemorph near her... Near. Just then, he realized that she might have been taken so flirting with her might not have been the best plan ever. But that didn't mean he couldn't compliment her. "Hi my name is Sam. What is your name? By the way your music is amazing! I can tell your boyfriend really likes it." He said as he pointed to Near. It was a good tactic to see if they are dating or not. He looked at her, then looked at him, and suddenly Daisuke popped out of her pokeball as she heard the music playing. >This is really good!< Daisuke said as she walked up to the trainer playing the guitar. >More! More!< She kept saying. Sam smiled when he found out that Daisuke liked music, that was refreshing and very nice to know. Wants to hear more Riolu (7.5)

Silver laughed quietly when Sam noted that Near seemed to be enjoying it. Well, he was, but she’d have thought that others thought he was just being rude or something. "My name's Silver, and if you want to hear more, here's your wish!" She smiled at the trainer before she broke into a full song; her voice was like the anthem of the angels. “What'll you do when you get lonely, and no one's waiting by your side? You've been running and hiding much too long... You know it's just your foolish pride. Layla, you've got me on my knees. Layla, I'm begging, darling please. Layla, darling won't you ease my worried mind?” As the last word came, John lifted his head up in a short howl, almost as if he were adding his own touch. Silver chuckled slightly as he grinned wolfishly at her, but continued to sing. It was Layla by Eric Clapton. She loved to sing and play, especially if people enjoyed it when she did. It was so awesome; the feeling that people were enjoying themselves. Perhaps one day... She would be able to go large. However, as she was singing, Near had woken up, and was drumming on the chair with Luna joining into John's howls. He appeared to have noticed the small 'crowd' gathering, but payed no attention to them. His ears were fixed on the song and what was going on. Suddenly he grabbed Silver's Pokeballs and released all of her team; and the area was filled with their cheerful, dancing Pokémon. It was truly a sight to behold... Sam really enjoyed the beautiful music that was being played and so did Daisuke. But when she saw the team being released, her competitive nature took over. >Hey do any of you want to fight me? Come on! I need the challenge.< She said. Sam noticed all the different pokemon that Silver and Near had and he smiled as he saw Daisuke get a bit excited too. He took the Soothe Bell he had given to Toothless a while back and placed it on the neck of Daisuke. It calmed her down a bit and she started to take an even bigger liking to Sam. She liked it, and Sam felt happy to see that she was having a good time. "I think my pokemon wants to battle yours. So what will you use first? By the way, you can go first." He said to Silver. Daisuke positioned herself for a battle, waiting for her first opponent. ::Riolu:: Ready to battle

At the challenge, Silver stopped playing the guitar and glanced around at her team, who were now gazing thoughtfully at her as though she would choose one of them to fight. Well, she had come here for training, so she would choose someone to battle against the Riolu. The two were getting ready while Silver rested her guitar over the arms of the chairs – a level surface, which would support it without her having to put it on the floor. She looked around, smiling before her eyes rested on John. An unseen numbering seemed to occur then; the Pokémon gathered around her and waited. It would be John first.
John’s ears twitched and he scampered onto the battlefield playfully, his tail wagging in greeting. He hoped he would do well enough in the battle. He nodded and then rushed forward in a Bite attack. If it hit, he would try to pin the Riolu down, but if it missed, he would backtrack and try to dodge the next move thrown at him.

Daisuke was surprised to see her first opponent was a Growlithe. It excited her because the Pokémon was known to be competitive and this would be a great match for her. She was bit on her tail by the Pokémon and it upset her after feeling the dog's mouth by her tail. She angrily tried to shake it off, but that didn't seem to work. So instead she quickly disappeared with it in mid air and tried to fall right on it with extreme speed so that the Growlithe would suffer for being on her tail. It was in such a quick and swift motion that she did not expect a Growlithe to be able to dodge it. She was also surprised when she was bit by the Pokémon. It did not hurt at all, this Pokémon must have been in a very low level. She thought to herself, >This shouldn't take too long...< And she quickly tried to swing her tail down. Hit by Bite (Not Very Effective). Used Quick Attack on Growlithe [OOC: You should post the levels somewhere so that I can do the level change quickly and easily. Since there are rules for how levels are distributed. It only affects me though as I'm the higher level] [OOC: Also that way you know the levels. Cause your level when you start must be the level when you finish. The route level up won't count towards this until the battle is over. And vice versa for your route. You can't increase levels in middle of battle]

John knew that the Bite move hadn’t done much damage, but what else could he do? It was either that or he roared to send his new friend back to his trainer; something that he didn’t want to do. The fire of battle burned in his belly, and it wasn’t just an emotion; it was almost like he could feel the flames of his nature slowly building in his growing body. Surely it couldn’t belong before he could use Ember like Luna, right? He had a few levels to go yet, but it was still an exciting aspect! Him and Luna, side by side, using warm flames to guard their trainers at night... The thought lulled him so much that he lost focus until Riolu had sent him into the floor, and just from that hit he felt weak. Not just normal weak; very weak. Riolu was strong. John tried to stand, but his paws ached. Why? From that single blow, he had been struck down once more. Last time it had been Murkrow... Was he strong enough to protect Silver? Was he strong enough to protect Racco, like he had promised his parents and brother? He slowly sensed darkness taming his senses, and felt the strong pull as Luna dragged him off of the battlefield before he fainted. He felt exhausted... Exhausted again... Why...? Watching his friend faint again stirred anger up in Racco, and not just him, but Jerome, too. Racco raced forward onto the battlefield and growled at the Pokémon... FAINTED Sent out. Used Growl and Tackle, if possible.

[OOC: +1 level for Growlithe. +0 for me for being too strong] Daisuke felt bad when the Growlithe had fainted. She was competitive and she wanted to beat the pokemon, but the thought of making someone faint was still a bit much for her. And when the Growlithe fainted, she began to feel bad, as if she went a bit too hard on it. But then another Pokémon quickly took it's place. This was a racoon like Pokémon who quickly growled at her and ran full speed at her to hit her with a tackle. The attack hurt a bit more than the original bite, but it still did not leave a mark at all. She could tell this Zigzagoon also wasn't too strong. >Another easy battle!< She said about the Zigzagoon before she jumped up in the air and came flying down at the Pokémon with her legs turned red. They were swirling in fire as she planned to slam them right into the side of the raccoon to take out another Pokémon. This attack was much stronger than her original attack, and an attack this strong was meant for a Pokémon like Zigzagoon... (-1 attack) Hit by Growl and Tackle. Used Blaze Kick [OOC: Thread dead. Kathryn killed off Silver and Near
