I'VE TRAPPED MYSELF IN A RING OF FIRE
IF I SAY I'M OKAY, I'M ALSO A LIAR
----------------------------------------
NAME, Claire Rycos.
AGE, 18.
GENDER, Girly girl.
TYPE, Trainer.
ALLIANCE, N/A
POSISTION, N/A[/blockquote]
FACECLAIM, Vanille, FFXIII
APPEARANCE, This caucasian girl is fairly pale despite spending many of her time out in the sun and fresh air. Her bubble gum colored hair stretches out to brush against her shoulders when worn down without any hair ties, but even so, she sometimes prefers her hair up in two curly, bouncy pigtails that cheerfully hop with every step she takes. She has frighteningly green emerald colored eyes that are slightly fogged with cataracts; yes, cataracts, at age eighteen. Because of this horrible fate, she cannot read anything unless it has huge print such as letters and symbols on large street signs; she never had the money, or the bravery, to get them removed by surgery. Standing at five feet and five inches tall, she's a short little thing for her age, and just a teensy bit overweight at one hundred and thirty five pounds.
She bears a fairly classical build - a small torso with lean arms, a longer neck, and a modest chest with moderately long legs. Her frame is quite average; pleasant to look at, but has bits of fat, even at her age, adorning her stomach, arms, and cheeks. Her face is a round, happy shape with a flared nose, thin, dark eyebrows, and wide-set eyes. She would never be considered 'sexy' by any means, since she still has the appearance of a young child. The result is unsettling and very creepy. She doesn't always take good care of her outward appearance though, and some days can be seen with extremely messy hair. She tends to not do make-up, because it's highly uncomfortable and makes her feel like a worthless whore who would be better off dead.
She also has a tattoo with three balloons; two are colored blue, with the centered one a bright and sunny yellow. She often brags about how the tattoo didn't hurt at all, when really, she has a low pain tolerance (surprise) and it secretly made her cry in pain.[/blockquote]
PERSONALITY,Claire, at first glance is non-descript, that type that is outgoing enough to be noticed, but she never seems to keep herself behind carefully maintained borders. She's in no way a loner and prefers to throw herself out into an social event. Because of this Claire has many friends and even more allies, but if that is the price of being without enemies she would gladly take it. For now she is happy however. Claire finds nothing wrong with what either side is doing, Night Shade or Lumyn, but rather sees them both as necessary forces in the whole of Cheyenne. She has no qualm for working for or against either of them.
The pink haired woman never tries to stay away from those that could influence her though, because after a lifetime of being around careless parents she's ready for some fun. In this way she's a bit more out there than the rest and more likely to act out by doing something against social norm or morals just to break free of the box she feels that people try to put her in. In this vein she hates receiving orders from people that she does not respect and therefore while she may obey if the case should be the type that she must she will hate that person. And by hate, she means that she will dislike and seek to supplant said person because she would think that they are unfit of the position in her eyes. She could get into quite a bit of trouble because of that trait, but so far she hasn't had the trait surface beyond what she thought was the normal teenage attitude to parents.
Claire enjoys the spotlight as a bit of a twist. She tries to turn her matches into attention grabbing affairs and tries to insert herself into as many prominent positions as he can. She wants to be honored and remembered, to make a name for herself. It's something she's always done from her childhood, trying to be the best of the best even if he has to trick his way to it. Claire tries not to make it obvious that she is tricking or 'cheating' her way up the ladder, but if it gets her there she considers it fair game. All she cares about is the end result, not the road that takes her there. If there's a few black blemishes on her record, who's to contest her if she obtains a large amount of power after all?
She's a party animal, and loves parties of all sorts, thus the tattoo of balloons on her back. She mainly goes to parties so she can flirt and play hard-to-get; flirting, sex, drugs, it's all a game to her - a game she's rather good at, too. She used to be quite the ecstasy addict at parties and raves which ended in many one-night stands and even more enemies of jealous boyfriends - yep, that's right kids, she's bisexual.[/blockquote]
HISTORY,
"Mummy, why are all the other kids mean to me?"
"Sweetie, it's because your father and I used to have some...not nice friends, okay? And though we don't want to be their friends anymore, everyone thinks we are bad people."
"Are we bad people?"
"...Of course not, darling."
Before Claire was born, the Rycos were grunts of the Rocket crime syndicate, working at the local Goldenrod branch. They met on a mission raiding the Pokémon Center and got married a year later. They both knew that practicing crime would never fly with a child, so they quit and retreated to a simple suburban life. Both parents tried their very best to assimilate their child, Pepper, into typical civilian life. However, Claire proved from an early age to be a stolid, impassive child who shirked chores and made no friends, just running off. Often her parents found her sitting in a tree somewhere in the neighborhood, staring out at the horizon calmly. Then they would proceed to take her home, scolding her for not returning home for dinner. Thus passed Claire's childhood, as well the early part of her adolescence.
As a young teenager, she usually got along with others, when she discovered her love for parties, however, she gained a few enemies. At parties and raves she was more than attractive and made sure everyone knew it; while some were jealous, and others thought she was immature, she found out that guys and even some girls would drool over her. This resulted in a sudden confidence boost, and since then, she has always been confident about herself and everything she has done, despite being quite the whore in her early teenage years.
Claire's mother's occupation involved a multitude of business trips and lots of traveling, so that she was rarely home or involved. As a result, it was her father that bore responsibility for Claire's upbringing. Unfortunately, by her teen years, her father had developed something of an addiction to alcohol. While Claire's mother was traveling abroad, she was at home watching as her father wasted away. Eventually, her mother found out what exactly the situation was when she was away from a couple of neighbors, and thus began the custody battle. A handful of long, painful years later involving a messy, violent divorce, Claire was reluctantly in the care of her hen-like, overprotective mother. She longed to go back to her father, for he was a lot more negligent and didn't give a fuck about what she did. Time passed, and by each passing day Claire grew more and more miserable. Eventually, she turned eighteen. Claiming she was off to college, she raced to Cheyenne, where she heard there was a delightful crime fix going on. Apparently, attraction to heroism ran in her veins. She boarded the S.S. Chapel and was off. Thus began her Cheyenne adventures.[/blockquote]
