Full Name: Emmett Duran
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Birthday: September 23
Appearance: Standing at 5'5" and weighing 100 pounds wet, Emmett is something of a runt. To make matters worse, he has a button nose, round, pinch-able cheeks, fluffy blond curls, and wide, wide, wide blue eyes. He's the unlucky child the aunties always huggled and showered in kisses at family reunions, the little kid used by his older cousins as a punching bag, the nice boy across the street all the moms inherently like just because he's a cutie-pie.
He usually wears tattered and bleached blue-jeans matched with a t-shirts that hangs on his frame. He's not one for elaborate clothes and whatnot, and usually doesn't really care about his appearance. He knows wearing badass-looking clothes (like leather coats and spiked boots and chains and stuff) will only make him look ridiculous, so he doesn't even try to make himself look less... harmless, cute, and cuddly.
Background: Emmett is the youngest son of a couple of Pokémon breeders who had 5 daughters before him. Between himself and closest in age sister, there are 7 years, though; he was an afterthought/accident. His 5 sisters coddled him from day one, cultivating his cute-ness to near sickness-inducing levels. As previously mentioned, he was also adored by his many aunties (his grandparents were rather proliferous, too) and it was one of them who gave him his Mareep as a birthday present when he was only 6 years old. Their fluffy hair/pelt matched, and his auntie thought it would be just "SOOO cute" to have the two together. His parents weren't too pleased that their son was receiving a Pokémon at such a young age, but couldn't even pry Emmett's tiny fingers away from they fluffy sheep's wool for the first few days. And so, the Mareep (named Baa) stayed.
His elder cousins were also rather jealous of him, especially since a few of them were eleven or twelve and hadn't even been allowed to have their own starter and begin their journey. For a few years, Emmett was the punching bag of the bigger of the boys on the one side (thankfully, Baa was always around to help him out when they got TOO rough), while on the other, he was treated like a doll by his sisters, female cousins and aunts.
One after the other, his cousins and sisters left him to go on their own great adventure, until he was the only one left. At age 16, he still appreciated the comfort of his home, and didn't feel the need to lift a finger. Coddled since birth, he didn't think he'd ever need to earn his living. Well, his parents decided otherwise. As summer overcame spring, they booted their overly lazy son and his fat Mareep all the way into Cheyenne.
Personality: Emmett is a lazy bum, result of being overly protected and spoiled his whole life. He doesn't act like a brat, though; he just expects everything to come to him. He also knows he's cute (well obviously, after spending days being pampered and told so by a bunch of over enthused women), but doesn't know how to work his charms. He just assumes that being blond and puppy-dog eyed will auto-magically grant him his desires. He isn't really proud of being a girly magical boy, but doesn't really do anything to counter it. He just learned to live with it.
He dearly loves Baa more than anything, even though the sheep is even more lazy than he is. Getting him to battle is rather miraculous; he also enjoys feasting on the foods contained in Emmett's backpack when he isn't looking.
Info: I'd like it very much if you let Emmett have Baa as a pre-starter (level 4, therefore no other starter, or do I go see the Rangers to sort the levels out?). Baa is a boy. Baa is a Mareep.
