Noah finally got back to Route One. He was walking slowly, breathing in the fresh air. The trainer stopped and sat down on the edge of a small pond. Silence ensued as the boy looked around and let out a big yawn. He hoped something will appear soon.

The Melody Of Silence Vicious and Armed
Lurking behind Noah was the Croagunk Pokémorph, his icy irises scanning for any signs of other people around. Thankfully there were none, and he stared at the young boy, his fingers curling around the hilt of his machete. Was he going to kill Noah? Only if he put up a fight – Merrick hated it when people fought back. Beside him sat Arionne – Meditite – and Faith – Yamask – who were both waiting for the right time to strike. Slowly, at Merrick’s command, Yamask faded and settled down in Merrick’s body, so she could use Protect if she had to defend her trainer.
Bursting out of the bushes, Merrick pulled Noah back against him, the curved blade resting in a casual angle against the younger male’s throat. Silently the Croagunk Morph narrowed his eyes, curious as to what this Trainer would have.
“Give me your Pokémon,” he snarled, violence etched into his voice. His appearance told anyone that saw him that he wasn’t to be messed with. With Faith floating around inside of him, and Arionne on standby nearby, who would even dare to try stopping him? “Move and you’re dead. Don’t piss with me, and hand ‘em over.”
Hiding inside Merrick. Ready to use Protect if need be.
Hiding in the bushes. Ready to use Fire Punch if need be.

Noah got caught off guard by the surprise attack. A long blade was pushed against his throat, as his attacker demanded his pokemon. The boy found out from his attacker's tone that he was a male. The young trainer replied to the unknown guy's "request" with an apathetic face and a sleepy tone. Noah sounded like he was high; maybe it was the aftereffect's of the sedatives he got at the hospital. "You want one of my pokemons? Well, you could have tried to ask more nicely."
Noah pushed the machete away from his neck and detached a pokeball from his belt. He turned around to look in the eyes of the other boy's eyes and dropped the round object in front of his legs. "Here you go. I've been trying to dispose of this Vullaby for a long time so I'll give it to you." The boy turned back to stare at the pond. Maybe there was some water types in it. Suddenly, he started talking again, his eyes still fixated on the small body of water. "Don't worry, it's not defected, it's just ugly."

The Melody Of Silence Vicious and Armed
Merrick kept the blade of his machete aimed upwards as he nudged the Pokéball with his foot, his sharp eyes narrowing aggressively as the kid just gave him a Pokéball. What was this? Some kind of a trick!? Emotionlessly he kicked the Pokéball up into the air and grasped it in his hand, releasing the Pokémon inside. It was indeed a Vullaby. However, why the hell was this kid acting so stupid, and why was he just giving him the Pokéball? Fierceness radiated in his eyes and Merrick recalled the Pokémon, listening to Noah’s wry comment about her appearance.
Emotionlessly, Merrick - who still believed this was some sort of a trick - swung the Machete down at Noah, intending to cause a distraction so he could get away. Not being one for words, Merrick beckoned toward Meditite, who was hiding in the bushes, and turned on his heel, using his powerful legs to leap out of the clearing without even saying another word. He got what he wanted...
As he turned, however, two 1,000PD notes fell from his pocket. The male didn't notice, or if he did, he just didn't care, and the 2K fell toward Noah, landing by his lap. Oh, how unfortunate...
Merrick has escaped with the Vullaby. +2,000PD for Junk, -2,000 from me.
Fled.
Fled.

The Melody Of Silence Swimming In Peace The blade tore through Noah's back, diggind deep into his back. The boy's blood started oozing violently from the wound, flowing down the young trainer's back. He hissed in pain, before turning around and shouting after the fleeing thief. "Hey, dude! I just got out of hospital! I don't want to get pumped full of tranquilizer again!" Suddenly, something landed next to the wounded boy. It was 2,000 PD. "Hey, thief guy! You dropped something." The guy with the machete was already nowhere to be seen so Noah picked up the money. He stuffed it in one of his pockets.
The trainer quickly released his Cubone from its pokeball. "Hey Bone. Could you stitch up my back? I don't want to go to the hospital again. There are needles, thread and disinfectant in my bag." The ground type took out a needle, some thread and a bottle of disinfectant from his owner's bag and started stitching up the large wound. The operation took about 30 minutes to finish. "Thanks, dude."
Noah recalled the silent creature and attached his pokeball to his belt. Then, he did something odd. The boy took off his sleeveless t-shirt and dived into the pond. The cold water was very refreshing and numbed the pain in the trainer's back. Noah narrowed his eyes. He could see clearly in the water which surprised him. In Snowpoint, the water was too polluted for swimming.

The two young Lotads were just giggling away at the bottom of the pond, making fishy faces at each other and giggling when the other did a funny one. While frolicking about, a sudden shadow blocked out the sunlight atop the waters and the two Lotads gave a start, swinging their heads upwards fearfully to see if it was a predator. However, the two spotted a human shaped creature swimming near the surface. <Hey, hey! Look at that guy! He's cute~>one of the Lotad giggled to her friend.
<Haha, maybe you should ask him out,>came the response, nudging her friend playfully. The first Lotad blushed a bright red and she looked embarrassed and suddenly shy. <Stop it! I'm not going to ask him. He probably has a girlfriend or something,>she stammered.
<It's alright! Here, I'll ask for you!>her friend reply and before the first Lotad could protest, the second Lotad quickly swam up near the surface, quickly swimming up in front of Noah's face and grinning widely.
<Hi!>the Lotad greeted. <I was wondering...you see, my friend kinda has a crush on you. So I was hoping you'd have some free time to go out with her,>she said, winking playfully.

The Melody Of Silence Swimming In Peace Noah was a little taken aback by the Lotad's request. Going out? Well, it's not like he had a girlfriend, but...going out with a pokemon? The trainer wasn't some sick pervert. He's not into pokemons. "I'm sorry, but I don't have too much free time. I'm only swimming in this pond because I'm looking for a water type. Maybe next time." Noah started swimming towards the opposite direction, leaving the Lotads. The boy started thinking. A Lotad would come in handy, but the trainer didn't want a female one. Let's search for a male.

Tutoring Pokemon Buizel! ::Buizel::
The Lotads felt a little bit depressed seeing the Trainer leave, and floated off downstream to do something or other. While he swam, however, a Wingull was up ahead, battling a Buizel, possibly over Territory. A Sonic Boom slammed into the Flying Pokémon hard, and she sent back a spray of Water, which missed the speedy weasel Pokémon. It wasn’t very effective, however, and barely did anything to the Pokémon.
“You can’t defend yourself with just Water moves!” Buizel jumped over the Pokémon, “You need to have agility, swift reflexes, and good posture.” A congregation of Water Types gathered around to watch this. No, it wasn’t a Fight for Territory; this Buizel was clearly an exceptional fighter in this area, and was teaching the Pokémon around him how to defend themselves and each other. “Keep practicing. Train until you learn more moves, and then we will try once more. Who is next to learn from me?”
Buizel is teaching Pokemon how to battle effectively. Participate in one of his sessions?

Melody Of Silence Learning From The Expert
Noah saw the battle between the Buizel and the Wingull. The boy was amazed by the orange water type's swift and agile moves. He swam up to the weasel and started talking. "I would like to learn from you. I know I'm just a human, but I'm sure you can teach me something." The trainer deached a pokeball from his belt. "If you don't want to teach me, then teach my Pokémon."
The trainer glanced at the group of water types that surrounded the Buizel. Maybe there's a male Lotad among them. If there is one, then even if the weasel refuses to teach him, Noah could still catch the water weed Pokémon.

Tutoring Pokémon Buizel! Buizel stood on a rock, gathering his strength as the Trainer approached him, and crouched down when Noah asked to train him. Well, truth be told, Trainers didn’t physically take part in battles anyway, so he didn’t understand the request. However, when Noah added that he could train his Pokémon, the Buizel twitched the tip of his tail and looked at the crowd. Suddenly they seemed uneasy that a Trainer was amongst their ranks, but that didn’t mean he was there for any specific reason. “Show me your friends,” Buizel refused to acknowledge captured Pokémon as “his” or “hers”. He always referred to them as ‘friends’ instead. Hopefully Noah wouldn’t attack one of the Pokémon there. They weren’t used to being around Trainers. Buizel wants you to send out your Pokemon.

A broad smile plastered on Noah's face as he detached two pokeballs from his belt and sent out Beethoven and Bone. The Cubone landed on the rock the Buizel was standing on, while the Ghastly was floating above his trainer. "These are my friends. That ground type next to you is Bone and the spectre floating above me is Beethoven."
The boy scratched his head. "Um, I don't think you can teach two Pokémon at the same time. Do you have a friend or someone who could help you? We could have a double battle."

Tutoring Pokémon Buizel! Buizel examined the two Pokémon, looking at the Cubone first, and walked around the Ground type. Almost immediately, he reached forward, gently straightening the Pokémon’s posture and carefully lifting his arm up slightly. Throwing things was like trying archery; if you had the wrong posture in your body, the best you could hope for was that the thing actually got off the bow. Picking up a stick, Buizel pulled his arm back at a leisurely stance. “You can’t throw with your arm like that; you’ll hurt yourself,” Buizel commented calmly, and then demonstrated by slowly imitating the Cubone’s muscles as it would throw the bone. “See this muscle here on my arm? It’ll become damaged if you keep throwing like that. Now watch me as I throw this stick. Put a little bit of power into it, and...”Tossing the stick, it whirled rapidly, audible as it flowed through the wind, and hit a branch on the other side of the river. The branch snapped and the stick fell down on top of it. “That’s how you should throw it. Now you try.”Buizel is showing Cubone how to throw better.

Melody Of Silence The Challenge The Cubone gave the Buizel a puzzled look. "Um, this is nice and all, but I'm not throwing my bone club. I use it to bash or hir Pokémon with it. What you were talking about is Bonemerang. Unfortunatewly, I don't learn that until I reach level 21."
While the ground type and the water type were talking, Beethoven hovered next to his trainer. "Hey, boy. I'm getting bored. Can't you ask that Buizel to teach me something too?" Noah shrugged, but swam up to the orange furred mammal.
"Excuse me. Why don't we have a double battle? My Gastly is bored and my friends are the type that only learn from battles." Bone gave an acknowledging nod, while the Beethoven just smirked. "So, what do you say? You could ask one of these water types to help you. This fight could improvetheir skills too."

<Well, my own teacher always said it was better to learn with experience...and levels smevels, you need the practice while you can. You have to be prepared.> The Buizel waved his paw in a 'phhsawww' manner, not phased at the Cubone's comments. He hardly knew what he was talking about anyways. Levels. Goodness. The ground type was probably wrong, because he didn't look that smart.
<But I guess we could have a battle. Wingull, care to try?> He asked, calling one of his better students to the front. She flapped her wings energetically, nodding to the Buizel. Well, game start!
<Let's get them with sound, that should hold them off.> He whispered to the bird, pointing to the Cubone to get her attention. She seemed very focused, and with a clap of his paws the pair began their starting moves. She shot a confusing wave of sound towards the Cubone, while the Buizel growled cutely at both opponents. That oughta weaken them a little, right?
Double Battle Accepted! Your turn starts now!

The Melody Of Silence The First Double Battle The Gastly's smirk widened when the two water type attacked them. The growl lowered the spectre's attack, but he didn't care. Beethoven turned to his trainer. The boy shrugged. "Let's try Hypnosis on the Buizel and Lick on the Wingull." The ghost's eyes flashed as he shot a hypnotic glare at the sea weasel. After this, he hurled his long tongue in the seagull's direction, trying to lick and hopefully paralyze it.
The supersonic didn't affect Bone so he didn't get confused. The Cubone started pondering about what to do. Should he attack the Buizel? Or lower the Wingull's stats? The ground type cracked a grin. Why not use what the orange mammal taught him? Bone took aim and threw his bone straight at the Wingull's left wing, trying to knock it down from the sky.

The Buizel averted his eyes from the gaze of the Gastly's attempt to lure him to sleep. He jumped back a few feet and readied himself. <Now you see, you must watch your sparing partner's every move. Or at least try to, then.> he said, telling the young Wingull something.
The Wingull nodded but soon was licked by something gross and slimey. The Gastly's tongue had touched the Wingull's face, dripping on her face was it's drool. She said nothing but her face had discust in it. She flew away. Looking down she noticed a bone was thrown up at her, thankfully being a flying type the Wingull easily flew away and let it drop back down to the earth.
The Buizel jumped in the air and spun around. As he faced the Gastly he blasted a burst of water at his face. The Buizel had shot a water gun at the Gastly, the forceful blast was powerful enough to do some damage on a ghost type thankfully.
The Wingull decided to follow her teacher's ways and do her own water gun. Looking at the Cubone below she opened her mouth and shot a water gun at the Cubone's face. Hopefully it would hit and do some heavy duty damage.

The Melody Of SilenceThe First Double BattleThe blast of water knocked the Cubone off of the stone he was standing on and sent him flying. Luckily, he didn't fall into the water, instead he landed on the pond's edge. The ground type staggered to his feet and dusted himself off. The lonely Pokémon glanced towards his teammate. The Gastly got hit by the Buizel's water gun. Bone quickly signaled to the ghost type, which the spirit noticed. He floated up to Bone.
"What do you want? We don't have time to chat." "Don't worry, my gas like friend. It won't take too much time." The Cubone pointed towards the Buizel and said. "I'll deal with the weasel, while you take care of that bird over there."
Without even waiting for the Gastly's response, Bone sprang forward, jumping from rock to rock, shortening the distance between himself and the Buizel. When he got close enough, he jumped high into the air. While he was falling itowards the water type, he aimed his bone club at the orange opponent's face.
Beethoven shook his "head" and turned to the Wingull. He tried to make it fall asleep with Hypnosis. After this, he used Lick on the flying type.

Despite the double attack, the Wingull flapped out of the way and attempted to avoid the lick, but had a tongue slap over her wing, almost sending her crashing to the ground. Regaining her balance, she regrouped with Buizel, who had easily avoided his attack. Reaching up, Buizel grabbed onto Wingull’s feet, being carried. He wasn’t as heavy as he looked – in fact; he was quite thin and agile for his species.
“You see that Cubone?” Buizel murmured quietly. Wingull nodded and let her eyes scan the battlefield. “It’s a Ground type. Water attacks are strong against it. Now if we team up our Water Guns and fire them at it, we can create something akin to a Hydro Pump. Not as strong, but similar. Now focus your energy and aim for it’s stomach – the Helmet is it’s armour, so we don’t want to aim for that, where it’s more defensive.”
The two fired their Water Guns at the Ground Type, hoping to inflict massive damage with their precision and power combined.

Seeing the Gastly take the attack for the Cubone, the Buizel and Wingull flew higher up and began dipping in and out of the trees, avoiding the moves. The Hypnosis failed, but the other moves did not – at least on Wingull. Despite the speed, the Buizel sure was a weight that the Flying Gull was not used to, and it dismissed the lick and flew off again, past the Gastly and toward the Cubone.
They repeated their attack at a closer range, aiming both Water Guns at the Ground type, in another attempt to imitate a Hydro Pump.
