The sky was completely clear and the warmth from the summer was making her skin so hot and comfortable. This was much more like the island weather she was used too.
Trying to grab as many of the rays she could she walked quietly and silently through the route. She knew what was here from before and she could not help but to be calm. It was a odd feeling, but it was nice.
Turning around for a second, her blonde hair flew in the air as a small summer breeze hit her. She looked back just to confirm that she was moving on from her past, this is finally where her journey could start.
Thou some friends have been left behind, she had a few new once with her, and a mystery egg she picked up from home. It was a rare one, and it would take long to hatch.
"Yukianesa, Lizzy, Mom. Take care."
She remembered that she had not even said a proper goodbye to them, but hopefully they understood and said goodbye themselves.
Closing her eyes and sighing she turned back. Knowing her Pokemon's strength she knew she would not stay here for long. However, maybe something might catch her attention.

Wild Sunkern [atrb=border,0,true] ::SUNKERN:: Level 6, Female Chlorophyll| Solar Power Absorb|Growth|Mega Drain Personality: The great and powerful Sunkern! Claims to have defeated an Ursaring. Very vain, but doesn't have a pair when it comes down to it. Telling stories
|
<My my, you're all so kind as to come listen to the great and powerful Sunkern.> What was this? A high pitched female voice that sounded as if she was forcing herself to sound British? Simply fascinating. She was standing proudly on a tree stump while other Pokemon crowded along to listen to her speech. The Rattatas were seated next to the Bidoofs. The Starlys fluttered with the Pidgeys as they settled on the branches. The Kricketot began to chime with glee, applauding for each feat the great and powerful Sunkern boasted about.
<It is true though. With my own magic, I was able to fight off the deadly Ursaring. She was tough and mean, but I didn't falter. With a mighty Mega Drain, I had finally managed to make that beast succumb to my prowess!> She laughed, and then the audience began to gasp at the tale. Was it true? She certainly looked strong, but they couldn't be sure if it was a fib. The younger ones believed it completely, while the smarter ones whispered to each other quietly.
<She was put soundly to sleep, I can guarantee it. I saved the lives of Pokemon just like you.> The Sunkern smiled with a twinkle in her eye, leaning down so she could get a good look at the young Spearow sitting in the front seat. They gasped at her might! How frightening!

Elisabeth could not think about walking past this interesting scenario. She completely stopped in her tracks as she saw a rather odd gathering off Pokemon. However the center of attention was this odd seedling Pokemon.
This Pokemon was filled with confidence as it told it's tales about defeating the big bad beast. However there was this air of lies and deception coming from it.
It was talking as if it was preaching it's own strength. It was not something that was uncommon among people and Pokemon, but it was a quality that could be a rather double-edged sword.
Elisabeth could not help herself, but approach the seedling.
"Excuse me lovelies, but I could not help but listen to your story. Being so strong and mighty and all, would you mind a challenge?"
It was weird that the first thing Elisabeth could speak off was a challenge, or rather a battle. She would like a nice start and she has a policy of not attacking anything that would not attack her and her friends.
"I am a Pokemon Trainer, however I don't want to fight you unless you think you can't beat me. I would also love to listen to your other tales if you have some."
Elisabeth was unintentionally mocking the Sunkern. God, this was great. The Sunkern reminded her to much of a Pokemon like version of her father who's bluffs were bigger than the resorts he owned.
"So?"
By now Elisabeth did not know what would happen really. Would the Pokemon run away and leave the area, or would it take up the offer. If it was so strong and might as it said, then it would not mind a battle now would it.

::sunkern:: Level 6, Female Chlorophyll| Solar Power Absorb|Growth|Mega Drain Personality: The great and powerful Sunkern! Claims to have defeated an Ursaring. Very vain, but doesn't have a pair when it comes down to it. used growth ( sp. attack +1 ) "A... A challenge?" Sunkern repeated, as if she didn't hear Elisabeth clearly. But in reality she heard the trainer all too clearly. The seedling had no idea what sorts of tricks this trainer had up her sleeves... but could she back down from a challenge? No one would believe her stories then! They'd all know she was a fake. But she was quivering in her metaphorical boots at the idea of fighting this trainer. The seed straightened herself up, body glowing as she used a growth attack to make herself just a little bit bigger than she was before. Confidence. She oozed confidence.
"Well, let me tell you just one more story, and then I'll give you a chance to take back that challenge! You might want to reconsider after you hear about the time I fought off the army of Durants!" The Kricketots and Pidgies who had been her audience all gasped and looked excited. They snuggled into each other and were all fixated on Sunkern. She cleared her throat, not waiting for an answer from Elisabeth before she dove into her story. "It was late, I could see the light of the full moon reflecting off of their metallic skins! I thought there was no escape as they chased me through the forest..." She paused, glancing at the trainer. How was she reacting?

"Sure, why not? Are you up for a story Shaniqua?"
From behind Elisabeth, her trusted Froslass had exited her ball. Due to the amount of respect and trust they have for their trainer and the respect she have back they are free to leave and enter the ball at any time they want.
Shaniqua stood beside Elisabeth with a hand in front of her mouth until she moved it away and a fierce snap could be heard ringing throughout the place.
<Aight girl, I hope this kid ain't a busta.>
Elisabeth knew that Shaniqua was the only Pokemon in her team capable of fighting grass types without it hurting to much. However it was a double-edged sword.
Elisabeth sat down on the ground wile the Froslass still hovered beside her. She could not help but listen to the story. It might be a lie, but this Sunkern was a great speaker.
Now the only thing left was to see if this Sunkern still had the guts to go through with it.

<The way those Durants were when I -- I mean they came into my territory, I knew that they were out for trouble.> The Sunkern puffed up her chest as she caught herself, faking a sense of pride as she looked off to the side. The trainer and her Frosslass were listening in, but she did not pay them any mind. She was clearly the the strongest of the group, and that ice type would simply not stand a chance against her.
<They were in large numbers. The powers they had were overwhelming. I was cornered as they entered my home and I knew they intended to eat me alive. Thinking with my ultra superior brain, I used an Absorb to make the soil weaker.> She faked a fond chuckle at the 'memory', trying to add more life to her story. She really wished that she could try and forget this challenge and that the trainer would be too frightened to want to go through with it.
<Then they were covered in dirt, heavy heavy dirt. Rocks too. It was a complete victory.> She looked smug as the Pidgey and Spearow gasped in surprise at her wit. What would she try to do to them if they ever made an attempt to eat her? Her eyes flicked to the human momentarily, hoping they wouldn't go through with this.

"Wow, I'm impressed. What about you Shaniqua?"
Elisabeth was finding this kinda fun. What a great start really! The Sunkern seemed confident and all, but there was something about her that was still far off.
<Girl~ This chick be trippin'!>
Maybe she was right, she might be a liar. The story was so far off the trail that it was not possible to swim back to the shore. However the young once were buying it. Was it right for her to ruin this Sunkern's self esteem, deglorifying her in front of the young. On the other hand, was it right to let this continue on, making her a fool among the older Pokemon that saw right through it.
"So when do you want to battle. Hearing this it might get really interesting with your high sense of tactics. I haven't been training for a wile so it would be nice to freshen up a bit."
<Hell yeah girl~ I'mma break it down for ya.>
Shaniqua had wanted to fight something she is weak too for a wile now. She was in perspective also strong against the grass type so it would be a battle of who could attack fastest and be smart about their move choices.
So would the Sunkern still go for the challenge?

Level 6, Female Chlorophyll| Solar Power Absorb|Growth|Mega Drain Personality: The great and powerful Sunkern! Claims to have defeated an Ursaring. Very vain, but doesn't have a pair when it comes down to it. used mega drain ( sp. attack +1 ) She squirmed around a tiny bit, almost an unnoticeable amount. Her audience began to actually egg her into the battle. The birds cried out that she could easily take the Froslass while the insects who were listening to her stories assured her that it would be nothing compared to her previous exploits! Only Sunkern knew what a big fish story she had been telling. And only she seemed to realize just how much it would suck fighting the ice type poke'mon! But she could no disappoint her audience, no matter how terrified she was. "Well... okay." She reluctantly agreed, bouncing away from the audience poke'mon and into a more open area. Almost immediately her leaves began to shimmer and glow, a large mega drain orb forming above her head. It floated away from her body and then sped at the Froslass.

"!"
Elisabeth was quite taken off guard by the sudden mega drain that was flung on Shaniqua, and not only that but she started to doubt her decision, however this could be turned around just as fast.
"Shaniqua! Double Team and Powder Snow!"
Shaniqua nodded as her body started to move so fast it looked like there was two of her. At the same time she blew a kiss and some gentle powdery snow flew towards the Sunkern with the intentions of killing.

The Sunkern watched as the Frolass suddenly doubled herself, making copies left and right. Her eyes watched in amazement as a ring of Frolass surrounded her. Then, it jogged a memory. <Ah, this reminds me of the time I fought a pack of Houndoom. They surrounded me you see. In a wasteland where nothing grew, ten began circling me. Of course I held them off as best as I could. By the time the leader came all of his followers were knocked out completely!> The Sunkern chucled happily, not even noting the coldness surrounding her. <Then we fought, like we had never fought before! I gave him a nice black eye that night! See, I'm not a force to be messed with. I am all powerfu--hey, is it getting cold or is it just me?> The Sunkern said, now realizing she was under attack. So caught up in her 'old memories' she barely noticed the Frolass had attacked.
The cold powder snow brushed against her, chilling her to the bone. Her teeth chattered as she looked around. Because of the type difference the Sunkern dropped to the side, her teeth chattered because she was freaking cold! <O-O-OK, y-y-y-you g-g-g-ot m-m-m-e t-t-t-there!> She said, hardly saying one word without shivering. Oh she wanted to rest now, get the warmth back into her body. And that she did. The Sunkern's teeth stopped hitting against each other and she laid limped. ::sunkern:: Level 6, Female Chlorophyll| Solar Power Absorb|Growth|Mega Drain Personality: The great and powerful Sunkern!
