As you enter, you can see that many blaring artificial lights are turned on, illuminating a scene of nurses running around busily and several trainers resting in a few of the benches and tables around the building.
At the counter are a few nurses catering to a few of the trainers that frequently visit to heal their pokemon.[/size]

"Finally...A place to rest my Pokémon..." The teenager was exhausted, having caught two more Pokémon to add to the family. Poochyena, Rattata, and Combee must be just as tired as he was.
Zephyr walked in through the Pokécenter's doors, looking a bit tired. His clothes were spotted with dirt, and his hair, his hair looked like a Pidgey nest, all mangled with twigs and dirt decorating it.
He still kept his composure, looking the nurse up and down. "My Pokémon need healing..." Zephyr muttered, removing the chain equipped with Pokéballs from his pants and thrusting it toward the nurse. "I suppose I'll stay a night as well..." he added with a large yawn.

Nathara walked in soon after the first trainer. She was carrying Anima, who was asleep in her arms. The little psychic had gotten sleepy during the walk through the city.
"Excu..."
She stopped in the middle of her word, noticing that the nurse was already busy with another trainer. It wouldn't be fair to the white-clad woman to speak up now, so she looked around for a place to sit while she waited. Spotting a small waiting area, she moved over in that direction. With a content sigh, she sat down in one of the chairs, not jostling the young pokemon too much in the process.

"Oh my! So many trainers at once! Chansey, be a dear and help out." The nurse up front clapped her hands twice, making a loud snap each time. Within moments, a giant pink blob of cute frolicked out from the back room, ready to take everyone's Pokeballs into a small try that was resting in her hands. While the nurse was taking care of Zephyr's Pokemon, she also took a quick look to make sure he had a room key. Yep! He did! Free access! "Your room will be #9 in the back, on this floor." She responded, after checking in the database to see which rooms were available.
<Hello, fair maiden!> The Chansey made her way to Nathara, holding the try out for the trainer. It seemed pretty obvious that the indentations within it were meant for Pokeballs, but if that wasn't enough, it said 'Insert Pokeballs Here' in small text in the bottom.

Not even a 'thank you' escaped the boy's lips.
With a smug smirk, Zephyr made his way past the nurse. He just kept muttering to himself "Room 9..."
In the back of the Pokécenter, Zephyr looked from left to right for his room, blue eyes widening a bit as he spotted it. "Finally..." the trainer muttered, using his room key to get inside. "Now...where's the bed...?" Zephyr yawned, looking about.

Nathara smiled warmly at the chansey.
"Good evening!"
She dug around in her bag, and withdrew all of her occupied pokeballs. After placing them inside the dips in the tray, she took Anima's ball and gently tapped the sleeping ralts. Once the pokeball had closed again, she placed it with the others.
"Thank you, and may I have a room, also?"
Sleepiness was beginning to slow her mind. It had been a full day, and Nathara wanted a good night's sleep more than anything else right now.

<Don't worry, little ones! You'll be safe in my care.> The Chansey whispered to the Pokeballs in a soothing tone, but then looked back up at Nathara and laughed. Well, she had a job to do, didn't she? Skipping along so she was behind the counter with her boss, she inserted the tray of Pokeballs into a strange oven. To her, at least, it looked like an oven. It actually healed Pokemon with special lights and stuff, but she never understood how, no matter how many times her boss explained it to her. "Ah, you asked for a room as well? Room 9 still has an extra bed in it, but you'll have a room mate." The Nurse explained, not wanting to insert any information into the computer until the trainer confirmed that that was the room she wanted. ::chansey::

Nathara watched the chansey go about it's work, then turned to the nurse. A room mate? Well, she hadn't expected something like this, but it wasn't unacceptable.
"That's fine, Room 9 it is."
She assumed that Room 9 was the one assigned to the trainer she had seen a few minutes ago. Sleeping in the same room as a male trainer made her slightly nervous, but she pushed it down. Right now, a place to sleep was worth it.

Zephyr had found his bed, promptly flopping facefirst onto it. A quiet sigh of relief escaped his lips as he closed his eyes in the peaceful embrace of the bed.
'I hope everyone wasn't hurt too bad...we need to train some more...' Zephyr thought as he slowly opened his eyes. The trainer lifted himself from the bed and walked around the room a bit. He couldn't get himself to sleep.
'I /really/ hope they're okay...' he thought, though showing no expression of worry on his face.

Out of nowhere, a small 'ding' noise interupted the silence of the room. It was actually a small buzzer that was resting on top of the counter nearest to Zephyr's sleeping area, a warning that hinted that he'd get his Pokemon back soon. Then Nathara's buzzer started ringing as well.
Within moments, there was a gentle knock and a fumble of keys from behind the door. A funkey jingle of the doorknob being turned until it finally opened, wit a cheerful Chansey grinning from the other side. She had both trays of Pokeballs ready for each trainer, with 'Zephyr' on one tray, and 'Nathara' on another tray. If one checked, the Pokemon within them would be completely healed.

Nathara looked up from where she was sitting on the second bed, book in hand. Were those her pokemon? She hadn't been able to sleep without knowing whether her pokemon, especially Razel, would be alright. It was strange how attached she had become to the dark type over the course of the day. With a smile, she stood up and walked over the the chansey.
"Thank you so much!"
She took the pokeballs from their slots in the tray, and one-by-one released her team into the room. Razel looked around curiously, and gave the other trainer a suspicious look, before walking closer to Nathara. Tego buzzed happily, then landed on the bedside table. Vexant crouched miserably, while Irene tried to start a conversation with the nervous bug pokemon. Comis smiled pleasantly at the others, and Anima gazed contentedly around the room. Nathara decided against releasing Mortis, seeing as he wouldn't like dry land anyway. The room filled with the sounds of conversation as the pokemon introduced themselves to their teammates. Once enough time had passed that greetings had been made, Nathara spoke up.
"Alright everyone, we have a big day ahead of us. Let's get some decent rest."
There was a murmur of agreement, and the girl called each pokemon back into their capsules. Razel, however, she left out. She returned the pokeballs to her bag, then sat down once more on her bed. Taking a large pillow, she placed it on the ground beside the mattress.
"Is this alright?"
The sneasel nodded.
<Yeah, I'd much rather sleep here than in my ball.>
After saying this, Razel lied down on the soft surface, but didn't release himself to sleep. Nathara gave a content sigh, then nodded politely to the other trainer before dozing off.

Zephyr took his Pokéballs, but not before giving the Chansey her thanks. The three Pokéballs were promptly fitted in the slots of his chain as a sigh of relief escaped the trainers lips. He'd been worried for nothing. His Pokémon were safe.
"...Tomorrow, we'll gather more team members after we go to the Pokémart." he said gently to the red and white spheres before flopping back onto the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. It didn't take long for Zephyr to drift off to sleep. He had more catching to do tomorrow.

When Nathara awoke, she was met by sunlight streaming into the room. With a yawn, she blinked a few times then sat up. Razel snored quietly on the pillow beside her bed, and the usually feirce-looking sneasel seemed rather peaceful. The springs in the bed groaned as the trainer stood up, and her partner was instantly awake.
<Good morning, Nathara.>
His voice was slurred from sleep, and he looked blearily up at the girl.
"Good morning, Razel. I'm sorry I woke you."
<Nah, it's okay.>
At that moment Nathara realized just how energized she felt. Had she really been that tired last night? She smiled, then walked into the adjoining bathroom to change.
Razel stretched, then jumped to his feet. While he waited for his trainer, he practiced his Reflect a few times. There was nothing like some light training to wake a pokemon up in the morning. When she returned, fully dressed and ready to go, Nathara gave the dark tye a curious look.
"What are you doing?"
<Training, obviously.>
"Must you? It's seven in the morning."
Razel shrugged, then went over to the door.
<Are you ready to go? I'm itching for a few battles.>
She snorted, then picked up her bag from the nightstand.
"Yeah, lets explore the city for a while before challenging the gym leader."
Together, they left the room, ready to meet their second day as a team.

Rivaxorus walked into the black pokemon center. It seemed this blackout was getting the best of electric city hopefully she would be able to heal her pokemon though. Her ponyta walked in at her side giving her the light she needed to see. "I wonder if I can still heal my pokemon here" she said wondering if there was even a nurse. At least Ghost's flames lit up the room for the most part.

"Oh, hello. Do you have any fainted Pokemon? Right now, we're only healing the Pokemon that are either fainted, or are helping out at the Power Plant." The Nurse explained through the darkness, looking at Riv with unhappy eyes. She didn't like these conditions either, but they only had to help the Pokemon that needed it the most.
"If you have any Potions on you, please use them." She added as an afterthought. She looked at her Ponyta with interest, finding that it looked similar to the other Ponyta that were roaming around the center. This one clearly belonged to Riv though, she was sure of it.

"So that's where everything is going down, the power plant?" Rivaxorus said to her ponyta. She was fine with just leaving her other pokemon in their pokeballs for a few days even letting them sleep to heal them. She was going to save her potions for battles and what not. She nodded to the nurse, "That's okay" she said then turned and left with ghost at her side.

Stumbling into the pokemon centre Duke looked around, eyes alight with concern. The situation out there was a lot worse than he had ever realised, and now all his pokemon were badly injured, and possibly in danger.
"I need help!" he called out, doubling over as he reached the front desk, still breathing rather heavily after running straight here from the powerplant. He was concerned about all his pokemon, but especially Son. He was just a baby after all and who knows how badly that dragon rage had ripped through his tiny body.
"Someone please hurry...I can't let this continue..." he managed before slumping to the floor, wishing he had bought some healing items before this madness occurred. Eyes drifting shut, Duke simply waited, his pokeballs clutched to his chest protectively.

The pokemon center was rather busy, with many trainers wanting to heal their pokemon, or just to seek shelter here. The nurses had a hard time refusing to help anyone that had still foolishly battled while the power was out and the healing machines were down. Still, a Chansey had sensed Duke's distress and came over to him. A soft "chansey!" was heard before she started to sing softly to allow the exhausted trainer to rest a bit. She then went and plucked the pokeballs out of the trainer's grasp, one at a time, and then brought them to a back room. There, the pokemon were being revived and slowly healed up thanks to moves such as recover and softboiled. They made sure no injuries were left and the pokemon were ready for action again before they were once again returned to their pokeball.
It took a few hours, but his pokemon had been healed. A little ponyta came back out with a basket of pokeballs, displayed neatly in a circle, for Duke to claim.

Awakening from his sleep, Duke noticed his pokeballs were missing. For a moment panic raced through him, until he realised he was in the pokemon center, and his pokeballs were resting in a nearby basket.
Picking the basket up, oblivious to the fact Strings had evolved once healed, Duke collected his pokeballs before once again racing off to battle Team Death once more.

Rane didn't exactly have time to admire the cityscape view. Being from Ecruteak City, large buildings weren't common, unless you count the Bell Tower. But everything seems to...modern here. Unlike her hometown, which stuck to a traditional style. But for now, her focus was to get her Pokémon to the Pokémon center. She had caught a Seedot, but will need to heal her, or she'd be unfit for battle. Her newly received Pidgey aka Zephry was in the other Pokeball that now clasped to her belt. Zephyr was fine, though it wouldn't hurt to let him be healed too.
Rane spotted the Pokecenter and half-walked, half-jogged towards it. She entered the dimly lit center, hoping it was operating, even though the Blackout was still on.
