The weakened bird found himself colliding with the Scythew’s claws, connecting with two silver blades that slashed at his sides. It might have been a mere Scratch attack, but compared to all that he’s been through, it was the finishing move that ended up causing the most damage. It certainly felt more painful than the rest, though it did the same amount of damage as before. His body was quickly falling to the ground, though all he could feel was his panic, his fear of being grounded as he tried to fight it, but time wouldn’t slow for him.
The Pidgey had fallen with barely a sound, only a slight moan from his weariness, and shock from all of the damage taken. Other than that, he could easily escape if Janel was intending to capture him. He had put up quite the fight, so he probably was at a higher level than most Pidgey’s around here.
wiL and Scythe gain a level.

Janel got up as Scythe stood over the beaten Pidgey, grinning. "Scythe, carefully move Pidgey under a bush, so he doesn't get rained on." Scythe nodded and carefully scooted the bird under a large bush. Janel smiled approvingly, even though her arm was giving her a great deal of pain, and returned the Scythew back into his Pokeball. She then began to walk away, continuing on her journey.

Grazing out on the path was a young --well, not too young-- Stantler. She was picking at the sparce grass and every now and again would lift her head up to sniff at the changing leaves. Some of the trees still had their leaves on the branches.
She looked up at the sound of the trainer's footfalls as she approached. Stantler gave her a long look, then lowered her head and shook it, showing off her large rack of antlers, pawing at the ground with a hoof. She feared confrontration from the human and was trying to warn her off.

Janel carefully held her arm, not noticing the Stantler. "Pidgey's are made of pure evil...." she muttered to herself before hearing a pawing sound. She looked to the right, and then to the left. She then looked infront of her and saw the Stanler about 10-15 feet from her. Her jaw dropped and she said to herself, "And now I'm going to get impaled by a bunch of antlers...." She slowly began to back up, ltting go off her injured arm and reaching for a PokeBall on her belt, not knowing who she had picked.

The Stantler groaned in response to the trainer's motions, taking a dominant step forward with his antlers trembling. He had automatically assumed that she was trying to pick a fight, and for someone like him, he wasn't going to back down. With his antlers radiating a psychic energy, he used a Hypnosis on Janel.

wiL jumped off of Janel's shoulder and into a nearby tree, avoiding the attack. Janl wasn't so lucky. She soon was on the ground, curled up and asleep with a smile on her face. wiL frowned and jumped out of the tree and released the Pokemon out of the ball she had picked. Sky came out of the ball and looked at Janel and then the Stantler. The Rayquaza glared at the Pokemon and used Acient Power on it, staying close to Janel.

Growling at the sight of the massive sized dragon that stood before him, the Stantler was not that eager to put up much of a fight with him. If anything, he wanted to flee! Only his powerful, manly pride stood in the way of this now life and death situation. His legs trembled, feeling the vibrations from the ground as large, glowing boulders rose with the force of a mystical energy. He didn’t know what to make of it!
<A-A Rayquaza…With a mere girl…> The Stantler’s head was bowed in a confused mix of disappointment and respect towards the towering dragon. The rocks collided with his body, knocking him down onto the ground with the power only a legendary could have. As painful as the attack looked, the Stantler was surprised himself that he was able to get back up and off the ground, shaking, but otherwise fine. There was still the urge to show off his battling ability. He already looked weak and pitiful. It was time to change that.
He pranced about from left to right, as if the forest was his mystical wonderland, and he was a reindeer hopping through endless mounds of snow. With his quick speed and wits, he leapt right over the Rayquaza’s thick tail, trying to land a Stomp attack before landing away to safety. Even if the attack missed, he was still ready to spring into action and evade whatever attack he saw coming.

Sky watched the Stantler, wrapping his tail carefully around his sleepin trainer. He then covered her, getting hit with the Stomp attack that would have hit her. He let out a small screech of anger and used Scary Face on the reindeer, hoping to scare the carrots out of him. wiL climbed out of the tree he was in and climbed over Sky's huge tail, sitting on the ground next to Janel and trying to wake her up.

The Stantler shriveled up in horror at the Scary Face, growling with his back raised into the air. He hadn't cared for the human girl anymore, because she was asleep, but it felt as though he had done something wrong to an Ursaring's cub. He felt like he was about to get his fluffy tail Hyper Beamed into the heavens!
<Watch where your putting your human.> He felt like it was the only thing he could say to reduce the Rayquaza's hatred toward him. With a false, defiant shake of his head, he wiggled his antlers around. This time, it was a ghostly Confuse Ray aimed at Sky.

Sky screeched again at the Stantler, glaring at the deer. <Watch who you pick fights with.> he growled back, towering over the Stanler. He closed his eyes and concentrated once more. Shortly, large rocks where mystically pulled out of the ground and throw at the reindeer. Sky opened his eyes to see where his Acient Power attack had hit his opponent.
wiL was becoming frantic as he tried to wake Janel up. He stopped for a moment to think...and got an idea. He took his hand-like tail and slammed it down on his trainer's poor, injured arm. JAnel immeadatley woke up with a scream and held her arm, looking at wiL, a dissapproving look on her face.

The Stantler was about to snap back a harsh comment, the dragon's words cutting him down. After a moments pause he glanced at the massive beast above him and decided perhaps it would simply be best to keep his mouth shut. He was already majorly intimidated by the massive legendary that radiated power and hatred.
If he could have, he would've fled by now, he no longer cared for his masculine pride. Just seeing and battling the beast would give him plenty bragging rights. Stantler wouldn't wait to tell his friends. He was certaintly not expecting to find this when he went out foraging. He was also not expecting large rocks to be flung at him while he was thinking. This beast had no manners.
The Stantler was thrown back, his health taking a sharp plunge with the powerful Ancient Power attack. With a muffled groan, he removed his face from the dirt and glanced up at the blurred green pokemon. He struggled to his feet and panted as he tried to land a Hyponosis on the dragon. His antlers glowed with a mysterious aura drawing attention to the slow ebbing of the haze.

Janel and wiL managed to look away in time, but Sky wasn't so lucky. He let out a yawn that sounded more like a roar, and layed his massive head on the ground, out cold. Janel smiled and rubbed the side of the Legendary's head before returning him to his Pokeball.
She then released Spike, her Charmeleon. She smiled and commanded, "Spike, use Scrath on Stanler." She quickly then took out some nice ace-wrap, and made a makeshift sling out of it for her arm. Spike nodded and grinned, showing each razor-shape tooth in his mouth. He charged at the deer, his arm in postiion to attack the reindeer.

Stantler
Hit by a sudden slash of claws from an unintimidated Charmeleon, the wild Stantler was forced down to his knees from the fury of attacks. Most normal Pokemon lasted about this long in battles, and he was no different. He groaned as his antlers ducked down, pointing defensively at the fire lizard. As if there was nothing else to do, he simply gave up this early in the battle and fell in a weakened heap of scratches and bruises. With all of his manly dignity lost, the most the buck could do was stare anxiously at his opponent.

Nell smirked and patted Spike's head. "Way to go buddy." she praise, hugging him with her unharmed arm. She returned him to his Pokeball and glanced at the Stantler. She shrugged and let him be. She didn't find use for another Stantler when she had Rudolph. She wallked past the defeated Pokemon and muttered. "Better luck next time, champ." wiL climbed around on her shoulders as she walked, antsy. Nell ignored it and took a cigarette out. She lit it and took a drag as she walked, enjoyinh the now peaceful forest.

Weepinbell
It was merely a typical day in the forest, or to some considered a jungle, where the wild Pokemon flourished and the humans simply didn't exist. With all of the foliage, it was incredibly difficult to maneuver around these parts. Raising a sharp bladed leaf, a wild Weepinbell hacked through the vines with ease with a rare special technique passed down through his family. Every time he used the Cut move, he felt so proud of himself; not everyone could do it, after all.
Somehow he entered a clear part of the forest where a strange being and her Aipom counterpart went to rest. He paused in contemplation, wondering if his majestic technique had startled them. He wouldn't be surprised if it had, and in fact, he would be offended if they simply ignored him.

Hearing the hacking of leaves and bushes, Nell looked over to her right and saw the yellow Pokemon. She smirk, unimpressed with the attck. She stopped walking and let her cigarette hang out of her mouth. She reached down to her belt and released her Vulpix, Viktoria. The fire fox sat on the ground, looking at the Weepinbell.
Nell took a drag from her cigarette before moving it from her mouth. "Viktoria," she exhaled, "use Ember." The little fox stood up and released fast moving embers towards the plant with ease.

Weepinbell Turn #2
The wild Weepinbell flinched as smoke rose from the puny stick the human girl carried around in her mouth. He didn't understand why she was doing it, but it looked so painful to him. Toxic smoke that wavered around it's leaves like a shady finger trying to coax him closer to its poison.
He coughed, feeling his eyes tear up from the fumes. He was about to comment on it, but the girl had reacted first with a fling of the wrist. In a flash of light, a red fox was released from the container with a hostile look towards him. Gulping, the plant sensed that whatever was coming next, he wasn't about to like it.
The small, amateur spurts of Ember were shot up into the air to give them a bit of an angle to cover more distance. He instinctively cowered behind his leafy arms/hands to block the blow, and it did a good chunk of damage. Why, if he wasn't twice her level, he could've been down to half of his health right now. Instead, it was...less than a quarter of his health taken away.
<O-oh. So is that how it is? Fine! Super Cut, GO!> He cried, still feeling the pain of the fire move whittling away at his body. However, he had to defend himself in this battle, so attack he must. He hopped towards the Vulpix with his leafy arms dancing around his body, then when he was close enough, let out a strike.

Nell smirked at the Weepinbell, and looked at Viktoria. She took the Cut attack, but wasn't hurt too badly by it. Taking another drag and exhaling through her nose, Nell then spoke, "Viktoria, use Roar. This plant isn't worth the time." With a nod of her head in agreement, Viktoria let out a extremely loud Roar. When she finished, she grinned evily at the foe, and sat on the ground. Nell leaned againt a nearby tree, scanning the surrounding one's branches. "I know there's a few Ghastly and Misdreavus's around here, and I won't leave til I catch one of each." she spoke, voice echoing throught the forest.

As if in response to the trainer's challenge, a misdreavus looked out from behind a tree and snickered evilly. <A trainer... just the kind of entertainment I need,> He whispered. <Let's make this interesting.> Then he came up with an ingenious prank.
The ghost-type shook some bushes with the intent of drawing the trainer's attention to its area, then quickly hid inside of the hole of a tree.

Nell heard the rustle and let Vik the Vulpix out of her Pokeball. After the last hit of her cigarette, she put it out against a nearby tree and put it in a pocket in her backpack to dispose of later. Exhaling, she wander over to the bush, Vik by her side. She crouhed down alittle and looked into the bush. "Hello? Who's there?" she inquired, looking around carefully.
