Janel walked onto Route 3 happily. She streched her arms and smiled down at Spike, who was walking next to her. She looked around the forest, which seemed kinda dark, but Spike's tail took care of that.

Sure the forest seemed dark, trees hung over each other like people cuddling to keep warm. Pokemon hid in the branches of trees and bushes, some sleeping, and others just hiding from the dark. Rain began to drizzle now, the sky becoming a darker color then it was, Grey clouds moving in to cover the sunlight. Rain came through the tops of trees, and dotted the Route three path like leopard spots. A lone Buizel ran out of the bushes, curious of the rain. She stood in the middle of the path, staring up into the sky with such curiosity, twirling around in a full 180 degree circle, and then back again. Slowly, she sniffed the ground, and followed the little dots on the path like it was new to her.

Janel quickly returned SPike as the fisrt drop of rain and pulled her hood up over her head. She noticed the Buizel and watched her out of pure curiosity. She carefully climbed up a wet tree, wiL sticking to her shoulder as she shook the branches over the Buizel to get a reaction from her, and hopefully no other Pokemon.

The Buizel looked right at wiL and Janel as soon as she heard the strange noises, almost terrified from not knowing what to expect. She had relaxed after seeing that it was a harmless group of travelers trying to hide away from the rain, smiling as she did so. It was pretty strange, now that she thought about it, seeing a human in a tree. The Aipom, well, monkeys belonged in the trees.
She looked like she was about to open her mouth to speak, reaching out with a paw as a hand gesture when an annoyed cry rang out from the branches. It appeared that a Pidgey had been sitting on one of the branches farther up in the trees, and was being shaken mercilessly in the high treetops. It couldn’t take any more of it, and flew down to glare at its trespasser with a scolding look.
<Do you have no manners?! What’s your problem?> He screeched, flapping his wings as he met wiL’s gaze with eye to eye contact. At least he was trying to make that kind of contact.

The Buizel glanced at the trainer with no head, or so she thought. Then she paid no attention to it. The trainer wasn't of any threat, at least not to her. She was powerful, and held a large range of attacks in her stocky body. It was pretty helpful to have a friend inside of her, always urging her on to do the best in her life. She continued following the small dots that the raindrops were making. They were intruiging.
Buizel had quite a unique hobby. She collected the different leaves of the forest. The reason she was following these dots was because she hoped that they would lead her to a new type of leaf. After all, she was very superstitious.
However, following these dots made her come to Janel. She grunted, and looked up. When she saw that the girl had black and red hair, she wondered if it was a type of leaf. <Can I have that?> she said, pointing at a lock of the girl's reddish black hair. She loved dealings with other animals, and this was going to be fun. <I can offer you thes leaves,> she said, showing a Leppa berry and Oran berry to the two animals. She shoved them towards the human with a smile on her face.

Janel smiled down at the Buizel as the Pidgey squaked at them. She blinked and said "Oh snap." wiL slid off of Janel and stood infront of the Pidgey, arms crossed. He cleared his throat and and simply said <It's raining, and we don't want to get wet.> Janel sat there and just watched, wondering what they were talking about.

<I don't care if it's rainning, or hailing out here, I don't want you under my tree!> The Pidey squawked even louder than before. <I order to you go find another tree or else feel the wrath of my power winds underneath my wings!> He shouted, while flapping his wings in an elegant manner, just giving WiL a tease of his power. This Pidey seemed a little stronger than others of his kind.
<Pidgey calm down, I don't think that they really wanna cause any promblem!> The Buizel shouted, trying to take Janel and WiL's side. <Just let them stay here until the rain dies out,> she added, still trying to persuade the Pidey to let them stay. Only did she know that the Pidey wasn't paying her any attetention.

<It is not your tree, it is the forest's you birdbrain.> wiL said, not making the situation any better. He glared at the Pidgey and spiked his tuff of hair up. Janel watched the two Pokemon and sighed. She pulled her slightly soaked jacket tighter around her so she wouldn't freeze and get sick.

<Uh, actually, it is my tree. I never said I owned the damn forest!> The Pidgey argued back, his beak practically pressing down in the Aipom’s face as he glared into his eyes. There was an intense urge to fight, and being a Wild Pokemon, it was one of the few ways to actually settle a dispute such as this.
<H-hey! Come on Pidgey, Aipom, you two…Guys…> The Buizel looked desperate as she sat below on the ground, too far away to be of much use for either side. The problem seemed to be out of her paws as well, so the most she could do was send a worried glance up and try to catch whatever Pokemon that fell from those scary heights.
<Payback time, you little brat!> He cried out with a furious flap of his wings, propelling him backwards in mid-air to send a serious Gust attack at wiL. So strong, that it threatened to injure Janel in the process. Then again, it probably wasn’t a good idea to start a fight when your trainer was right next to you, hanging like a monkey in a tree.

Janel clung to the branch as Pidgey used Gust. wiL went flying, and fourtunatly was caught by Janel. The little Aipom frowned and released Scythe. Sycthe came out of the ball and looked at the Pidgey and glared. He charged at the bird and used Scratch, hoping to do some real damage.

<Sending your little buddy out to do the hard work? Pathetic.> The Pidgey scoffed with a shake of his head, throwing it to the side as if the Aipom wasn’t even worth his time. That was an understatement, because he really wanted to teach wiL a lesson he would never forget. Scythe’s glare was matched with a sinister one of his own, and he swiftly swooped around the Scythew’s way in order to make his was closer to the Aipom.
’I don’t even care anymore if the girl gets hurt!’ He hissed in his mind, flapping even closer to the two, trying to zone in on wiL’s position so he could knock him right off of Janel’s shoulder. It had the odd feeling of playing darts, where he was the dart, and wiL was the bull’s-eye. It was a Tackle, no doubt.
<Oh, now you’re just as bad as he is.> The Buizel scolded the Scythew from her spot on the ground. Honestly, attacking without much of a thought. Boys could be so stupid.

Scythe quiclky ran infront of Janel and used Pound on the Pidgey, trying to knock it away from Janel. Janel looked at the Pidgey and covered her head and wiL stood ontop of her covered head. Scythe wrapped wiL with his tail and put him infront of him, to take any damage.

After rudely being struck down by the sudden pound, pidgey fluttered back to a safe spot on the ground. The area that had been struck became sore, making the bird hiss with pain. As his opponents created the make-shift wall, he merely saw it as a waste of time. Their puny defense wouldn't last for long, after all.
<Two against one? Cowards!> Growled the pride-filled bird, the plumage on his neck rising in aggression. <It just shows you can't defend yourselves alone against me.>
Stepping up, the bird lifted his wings until he found air, and, above the 2 foes once more, started beating the air with his wings. The turbulence made the air circle until it finally formed a mini-tornado, which pidgey sent to them with a final, strong beat of his wings. Panting heavily, the bird flew onto a nearby branch and rested for a few seconds; it took quite a bit of energy to use that attack.

Janel closed her eyes and grabbed onto the branch with all her strenght, trying not to get flung off of it. Then she heard a click. She opened her eyes and looked at her belt to the Spike's Pokeball had been knocked off. She frantically looked down at the ground, trying to see his ball. Meanwhile, wiL and Scythe charged towards the Pidgey, using a Tackle/Pound attack on the resting bird.

Pidgey got hit by both attacks, and flew through the air to a nearby branch. <Why... you... cowards...> he gasped, feeling rather bad and quite dizzy from the energy he had used up. Then he felt light and faint.
<Wait...> he said, and leaned forward. He flew to the ground, landing in a heap of feathers, and looked towards the two Pokemon. All of a sudden, he grinned, and let loose a huge amount of Gust. Gust was an attack, and that was some of the most he could give out. A few more attacks and he'd be down.

Sythe took the attack and stood their, feeling alittle weaker. He shook his head and regained focus before going in for another Pound attack, while wiL used Sand-Attack on the Pidgey, hoping to help. What was left of the Gust attack was strong enought to knock Janel out of the tree and onto the cold, hard, wet ground. Her arm hurt alot, but she saw something that made the pain worth it, Spike's Pokeball. She quickly grabbed it with her unsore arm and held it close to her, glad she had fond it before some Murkrow did.

The Pidgey leaped into the air and pounded it's wings to stay in flight over the two attacking Pokémon. It only narrowly missed the pound but some sand still pelted against it's features. <You will wish you hadn't done that!> It cooed in a louder voice then it aimed to. Then it took aim at Sythe, who it deemed more of a treat, and dove at it with as much speed as it could muster. TACKLE

Scythe grinned as he was hit by the Tackle and charged at the bird, using Scratch. <Pffft. I wish I could do it again bird brain!> Scythe taunted as wiL watched silently, making another pile of dirt to use for another Sand-Attack. Janel watched from where she had landed and sook her head.

The Pidgey grew angry, dodging the scratch attack and doing a circle in the air, coming back down towards Scythe with a gust of his own, wanting nothing more but to knock this Pokemon off his feet to show he had some skill.
Pidgey used Gust!

Scythe took the attack and glared at the Pidgey. He had ahad enough of this stupid bird. He climbed up the tree and leapt down ont to Pidgey using Scratch attack once more. wiL looked at the two, before running over to Janel's side and sitting on her shoulder.
