Boom! Headshot! The Geodude was glad when Susumu's directions actually led him somewhere, rolling right over the Rufflet and carrying them both lower to the ground due to his weight. He rolled right off after the move hit, landing harshly on the ground with a 'thud' as he boomed forward on the damp grass. He hated the texture against his body, as if it was trying to slow him down or something, but worst case scenario he fell into a pond. Then he'd really be in trouble! "Other way Ken, you'll fall!" Susumu cried, seeing that Ken was actually headed straight for a deep looking pond. The Geodude sharply turned right and then went in the opposite direction, much to the trainer's relief.
<Come at me, come on. I'm too tough man. Too tough!> The Geodude boasted with a wild, red neck cry that made him seem a tad less threatening. He only liked to roughhouse a lot, at least physically. Give him special attacks and he didn't seem to take them as well. Ken knew he had an advantage against the bird, but this Rollout was simply not letting him stop.
"Man, you're not gonna be able to stop now huh..." Susumu was a little worried that if the battle ended too early, Ken wouldn't get as strong. Ah well, target practice never hurt anyone. The Geodude was going to learn one of these days not to underestimate birds, though he wasn't exactly sure what kind of bird would give this guy trouble. Ken didn't notice that the Rufflet was having trouble, but Susumu did. Sort of. Why wasn't the Rufflet moving? It was all going a bit too fast, and the trainer didn't have the reflexes to stop it.

"Is... is that all you got, herpy derpy?" The rufflet huffed, his chest ruffled and he stumbled to fly back into the air. He did not want to risk another rollout attack, not now! He had narrowed his gaze, hoping to lower the geodude's defense as much as he could. "Oh look at me~ I'm a derpy geodude that can only roll around~" The rufflet taunted in a singsong fashion. The Rollout was getting amazingly strong after the third strike connected with the Rufflet, and it was very clear to see that it was weakening at this point. Ken couldn't even slow down at this point, just barely catching the leer and feeling his defenses lower. It was a shame the Rufflet couldn't do much to lower his attack or do something with accuracy, otherwise he'd have more of a chance getting out of the way of this possibly fatal Rollout. Susumu was feeling weird about this, but the Rufflet was being a moron. Not even a moron would be singing and dancing if they were in pain or like, unable to battle. At least in his mind.
"Ken he's probably gonna dodge it. Don't get your hopes up." Susumu gave the rock a heads up as Ken zoomed after the Rufflet with a dangerous fourth rollout. At least he hadn't used defense curl before this, or else the Rufflet would just be screwed by now. Then again, Ken wouldn't exactly be getting all of the training that he needed. So why bother with that?
"Bird, you're running out of luck here." Susumu grinned, hoping to catch the darn thing before someone else came and snatched it up. The trolly bird looked cool first off, and it had an appealing nature. What could he say? "I don't think you have a plan either." He taunted, wanting to see what the thing could do.

The Rufflet over heard what the human was saying. Oh duh, he could dodge the Geodude. After all, he had wings, the Geodude didn't. The Rollout came once again, and this time the Rufflet was ready. Sticking out his tongue he finally got in the sky, allowing the Geodude to roll right past him. He then waved his wings by his head and stick his tongue out again. <Na nananana, sucka missed me!> He taunted. So he was at a type disadvantage, he could fly! The Geodude was stuck on the ground.
Soaring above the Geodude the Rufflet made his next move. His wings now glowing slightly the mean little bird dove down. Racing towards the Geodude he quickly turned his head up and tried slamming into him with Wing Attack. OK so it wasn't the best choice of moves...but it was all he had and it seemed good at the time. Can't blame him for quick thinking now can ya?

WELL. They were right about the Rufflet dodging that last attack at the very least. Sadly they didn't have a plan to counter it, so they were just going to have to take the Wing Attack like men. Well, Ken at least. Susumu just had to watch in the background, a bit impressed at how well the Rufflet was taking these attacks. Someone was bound to want a Pokemon like this, he just knew it. "Not bad, but we saw it coming." He commented with a smug look, confident that this would be an easy battle for Ken. It was only a matter of endurance, and Ken had plenty of it.
<Ow! I got a splinter!> Ken whined as he missed the Rufflet and skidded onto some branches that fell on the ground due to a recent thunderstorm. It didn't help that the Rufflet was right behind him with that Wing Attack, beating him up and taking advantage of his lowered defenses. At this point, it felt like his resistance type wise was gone.
Sure he was a big bulky rock that would take a lot of feathers to bring him down, but he was a weakening big bulky rock. "Oh geez, you whiner." Susumu sighed from the sidelines, luckily for him Ken didn't hear it, and the Geodude stared at the trolly bird with determination. <I might be very very annoyed with you...but I can still smash you into the ground!> He threatened, and with a jump into the air the two handed rock used a Mega Punch to try and ground that bird.

The Rufflet might've been trolling and failing, but Ken was starting to get annoyed with the constant teasing and insults. The Geodude frowned deeply as the Hone Claws made those attacks look stronger, especially when that was the last thing he needed. Still, he was a pro at beating up birds. Not many could top him...unless they knew grass or water moves, but hey, those were rare these days!
Except very common in this area. But Ken was an idiot and it was ok to excuse him this one time. The Peck hurt, but not as much as the Wing Attack did. <Hah, you think that's all it takes?> Ken asked with a defiant glare, and before Susumu could get in a word the Geodude started to spin around and sent mud flying everywhere. By everywhere, that including himself and his trainer.
"Wha...wha...ugh ugh why why why!" Not that he cared about fashion, but Susumu hadn't planned on feeling like a wet and muddy mess today. Rather uncomfortable actually, he'd probably have to change. While Susumu was whining, Ken started to hop up and down wildly with another Magnitude, sending the mud up into the air and landing back down with a splash. It all looked so very very muddy. All it needed were some hot chicks wrestling in it and it was good to go.

Didn't he know that ground moves did nothing to the flying type? Or was he that dim witted? Anyway, he made himself look very muddy and this gave some new pleasure for the Rufflet who quickly saw Ken as a slip and slide and chose to take full advantage of the situation.
He knew full well that the faster he was, the better the slip and slide would be. So he quickly honed his claw and increased his speed once more before flying right at the Geodude in hopes of slashing it with his wings. Hopefully it'd also be a nice ride as he'd hit the slippery Pokémon and slide right off. That would be some very fun troll and games!
>This is going to be a blast! Wheeeee!< The Rufflet said. Although he had no idea how well a slippery/muddy and rough body mixed. Maybe he'd slip off, or maybe he'd hit a rough surface and just end up bruising himself...

Whoa! Talk about speed and power! Susumu stopped whining for a moment to notice the trolly bird sky rocketing at Ken with that Hone Claws, which made it look a lot more accurate than usual. "Ken you moron, you're gonna lose." He scolded with a scowl on his face, realizing that if this rock lost to these types of attacks, the Geodude was just pathetic and should be ditched. Except he wasn't going to ditch Ken because Ken was his lucky second Pokemon and he really couldn't get rid of the thing. No one else wanted the Geodude from that contest; they all wanted the Cubones and Swablus, dumbasses.
<Ha?> Ken asked, turning after his muddy display to see that freaking bird zip right at him, making him slide against the mud and right into a tree. With an annoyed groan, the Geodude realized that hey, he was going to lose. His defenses were down and that Rufflet just got stronger! He was going to have to do something here! He curled over defensively, appearing to use another Rollout. "Wait wait wait. Stupid, don't use rollout. You'll go everywhere." Susumu commented from the sidelines, and thankfully Ken curled right out with an annoyed scoff and a roll of his eyes.
<What do you suggest? Really, enlighten me.> The Geodude had his hands on his side, glaring at that feisty Rufflet that was really pushing his limits. Susumu just grinned, knowing exactly what he wanted to do. "Let's cook some bird." He snickered, and Ken instantly knew what he meant. FIRE BLAST! The rock sent that giant wave of fire after the Rufflet, even if it might've been overkill he still felt like letting off some steam.

He was engulfed by the flame and simply stood on the ground, unable to do anything anymore as his match was over and there was no way out of it. His accuracy did not help him one bit, it just made him see the attack with even more clarity than the next pokemon which wasn't a good thing at this case, as he was able to see the full impact of it and the way it would fry his entire body. When it was done, he became nothing like his former self as his wings were too fried to even fly again. Hopefully the trainer would have some heart and either end his misery or capture him, because if he was left here in the wild he'd be an easy prey for most other creatures. Woo hoo! Rufflet was on fire and cooking! Susumu felt bad that yes, they set a bird on fire that they were going to catch, but hey no hard feelings. This was the harsh reality of being out in the wild, so with a very merciful flick of the hands the trainer tossed a speedy Fast Ball at the Rufflet. It was the first one he grabbed really, but in a way it was kind of stylish for such a trolly creature. Ken sighed as he wiped some of the mud out of his eyes, definitely getting too worked up over the battle. The Pokémon knew it, the trainer knew it, but it all worked out in the end. "Alright, we'll see if that works." Susumu grinned, then remembering the moist feeling all over his legs and clothes.
Freaking Ken. Why'd he go and use that Mud Sport and Magnitude together? He was going to have to take a bath or something after this. He looked at the nearby river and sighed, deciding that maybe he should actually take a bath like how they used to in the old days. He just wished he brought swim trunks; he really didn't plan ahead there.
"Wha--" More gunk just went onto his shoulder, and slowly touching it and scooping it into his hands he noticed that it has a rather odd texture. Like...jello? The hell was this stuff? The black sludge just looked nasty, but the creature that threw it looked even more messed up. He knew what they were though--- it was all over the news. Trubbish infesting Cheyenne. Lovely. Ken glanced up at the poison type in surprise, but there wasn't much they could do just yet.
<No, we found it first! It's ours.> If Susumu heard Ken talking about the Rufflet like it was a bargaining item he probably would've laughed. Instead he looked at the two Pokémon oddly, no idea what was going on. He was attacked, right? Or just made dirtier at the very least? What do?

Awesome! That Rufflet now belonged to him. The only thing that needed to happen was to send it to his PC, because he had a full party at the moment. Most were in good health too, but Ken must've been the closest to fainting. Ah well, the Geodude would be ok he thought. It could at least damage this silly Trubbish until he sent something else out to get some extra training. Maybe clean up some of those uneven levels if possible. If not, he'd live. It was all in good fun of the Cheyenne Dream. The Trubbish was ranting about something, but Susumu already had the fast ball in his hands. The Pokedex in his bag reacted, and soon it was teleported right into his PC. Technology was both awesome and inconvenient sometimes, not letting him have more than 7 on hand like that.
He was able to switch out Mio for Santino at the very least, so the Shiny Purugly could get some training after using a few TMs on him. They were all random, but it was funny how well they worked out for the tiger. He almost laughed! Ken was constantly in the Trubbish's way though, making sure that the poison type wouldn't do anything funny. Except it totally did and he couldn't do anything about it wat? <This reeks! Ugh, dude. Warn someone! God, I need a nose plug.> Ken complained as he breathed in the poison gas, and his body became tainted with a light purple coloration.
It pulsed as he felt the poison kick in, robbing him of his health as he breathed deeply to try and get more fresh air in instead of that foul odor. It was driving him nuts! Susumu noticed and frowned, knowing that the Trubbish was probably going to beat the crap out of his Geodude. Ok, fine. He wasn't too worried at least. "Defense Curl and Magnitude." He suggested, knowing that most poison types were weak to ground type moves. Ken curled up into a ball to boost his lowered defenses, then slammed one arm into the ground, making it all tremble like crazy. It was a Magnitude 7, and it was something to worry about.

The Trubbish knew he just had to play a waiting game though so the situation wasn't too bad, he had already done his deed by poisoning the Geodude,in due time the pokemon would faint.
Although he didn't even know why he was battling anymore. The pokeball in the blond's hand had left and the Geodude was too hard of a pokemon to enjoy eating. Well, maybe he'd go eat the blond then at it was the only option left. >You take my brunch! I'm going after you for dinner!< He said as he pointed to Shamu.
With that he increased his size, smell, and weight by piling more garbage onto himself before he left the excess filth and chucked it at the Geodude in one quick motion. Well a lot was going on here, especially when another odd Pidgey started to fly around in the air. It landed right next to Susumu with a small coo, handing him an egg that was wrapped in the light cloth it was carrying. He blinked and noticed a card on the side. Well, Ken was important, but curiosity got the better of him. He sat back down, still ticked that he was covered in mud but wiped some of it that got on his hands off on the grass and opened it. 'Congrats! You won staff of the month!' It read, and he only stared at it. Was this for his hard work in the chicken suit at the Cresselia Cup? He didn't see that one coming at all, but hey he was cool with it! "It's been a while since I've had an egg." He commented to himself, holding it in his lap as he tried to rub some warmth into it.
<Hey 'Dad', you can help me out here.> Ken cried as he saw the Trubbish get a little bigger with that Stockpile. It was going to be a bigger threat now, and he wasn't entirely sure how he was supposed to stop it. To make things worse, he got hit with a heavy sludge attack. Now if he was muddy before, now he was filthy. He breathed heavily as the poison sunk in him, and he didn't know how much longer he could last. Probably couldn't take another attack though, that poison was potent.
"Oh yeah. Bo-Bo, come out in case he can't handle it." Susumu unclipped the sphere from his belt and let out a blissful Bellsprout that started to hum merrily at the sight of the egg. She loved nurturing little ones, and she couldn't wait to see what would come out of it. <You aren't allowed near the egg, Ken dear. Take a bath first.> She giggled, noticing his condition. He looked like he was in pain, but she knew that he was a tough one. He'd live. Ken seemed to get angier at the comment and charged at the Trubbish with a fist extended, hoping to show her who really needed a bath! Especially if some trash spread out all over the place!

The Trubbish learned this the hard way as he found that he could not dodge the incoming attack at all because he occupied too much space to get away from the attack. But at least the punch also left Ken with a very filthy hand to go with his already filthy body after it was taken out of the body of the garbage pile. The attack also hurt much less after the increased defense from the stockpile, and instead felt a bit more like a tickle which made the Trubbish laugh out loud.
>Lets see you meet someone three times your size!< He laughed out loud before he stockpiled once more to become even bigger than he was already. But with the bigger size, it became even harder for the Trubbish to move as he wobbled from side to side before falling hard on his butt and staying there for now. Good thing he already had poison working so he didn't need to attack for the Geodude to feel damage TROLOLOL!

The Trubbish was only getting bigger and more intimidating, so Susumu knew that he was really going to need Bo-Bo to keep up with those defenses if they got too high. The Poison was more than enough to take out Ken, rest in peace, and the trainer returned the Geodude back into his sphere with a sympathetic look. "Hey, you did your best. You handled like three battles without a potion." He chuckled, seeing that the Geodude had been very resistant in all three of them. Now it was Bo-Bo's turn to take on this beast, and the Bellsprout gave the egg in Susumu's lap a pat on the head before waddling over to the Trubbish.
<You're really good at battling, who taught you?> She asked as she readied herself, making sure that the Trubbish understood that no one behind her was to be attacked. She was probably weaker level wise than the thing, but she was hoping that Ken helped out enough to make it fairer for her. She bobbed her head up and down to an imaginary beat, waiting for her round to begin. As Susumu held the random egg in his hands, he smiled. Ok, they could probably handle this with Bo-Bo.
"Rain Dance and Weatherball." Oh yes, he liked those moves a lot. It was the Bellsprout's signature combination, especially when used with Growth. The Bellsprout let out a loud cry to the heavens as she did a strange kind of dance in her place, moving her leaves to a beat in her head until it started to pour. What she did exactly to call the rains was unknown, but it was sure starting to wash all of the filth and mud away on the ground. Susumu nearly lost the Black Sludge, but as he moved himself under a tree to try and keep dry he shivered and held it tightly in his hands. He could tell that this thing was something weird and unusual, like a Pokemon only item or something. It was just so funky to look at!
The Bellsprout was satisfied that she was able to call the rains, and even though she was more suited to sun battles, she simply loved to be soaked to the bone. No more droughts, she could give all of her plant friends a drink in the process. <Here we go, Trubbish. Don't go easy on me, or I might not forgive you.> She giggled, firing a Weatherball at the poison type.

Trubbish watched as it suddenly started raining, wondering exactly how that was going to help the grass type in any way at all. Rain Dance was absolutely useless after all. It was then that the Trubbish was proven wrong, as he started with another Stockpile attack he felt himself get hit with something terribly powerful. What the hell? When did plants get power? He was worried now, he just wanted to get out of there, gearing himself up he sent a nasty sludge attack at the silly grass type. (I'll show you whose boss!) The random egg was carefully held in Susumu's arms, but he was starting to worry about maybe the rain making it too cold for the egg. Ah, what was he supposed to do? It's not like he had a bunch of supplies on him, since he never planned on staying the night out here. He preferred sleeping in the Pokemon Center really, so he always had to plan his trips out in the route wisely. The egg looked ok to his eyes, but it needed a little something to keep it comfortable. He fiddled around in his bag and pulled out an extra shirt that he had on him, and with that he wrapped the egg in it so it could at least be dry and warm as they hid under a tree for shelter.
The Trubbish was sure being mean with all of those Stockpiles, and Susumu figured that he was going to have to put a stop to it before it got too strong for him. How to handle that though? Oh wait, he was having an epiphany. The good thing about sending Bo-Bo in was that she was immune to being poisoned, though the damage was neutral from the sludge attack. It hit her pretty good, and the poor thing shuddered as the rain washed the stinging poison off of her. <You are the boss. I'm sorry.> The Bellsprout held her leaves together and looked at the Trubbish with a very 'eager to please' expression. He was right! Except that wasn't going to stop her from kicking his ass.
"Sleep Powder then Sucker Punch." He was hoping that maybe the Sleep Powder would be dodged so the Trubbish could only attack once. If not, then hey free turn of not being attacked! The Bellsprout sprayed out a bunch of green spores from her mouth, humming a soft lullaby that her mother taught her in the process. Once she was sure that she ran out for the turn, she snickered and suddenly appeared from behind the Trubbish, waiting for him to use an attacking move so she could nail him first with Sucker Punch.

Trubbish watched carefully as the Bellsprout inhaled. Was he about to use a status effecting move? Trubbish did his best to predict the next attack, which turned out to be in his favor. Bo-Bo released a powder into the air and trubbish was ready to counter the move. He jumped to the side to avoid the attack, but was met by an unpleasant punch to the side that knocked him back down to the ground. Ugh, this wasn’t fun at all, and it was really dangerous too. Trubbish got off the ground, whipping the mud off of himself that was caused from the heavy rain. Darn it, why did this rain have to make everything so messy? Even for a Trubbish, this was not just nasty, but annoying as well.
It could have been worse though. The Trubbish could have been affected by that powder technique that Bellsprout used, and taken even more damage. Either way, the Trubbish wasn’t going to back down now. <Haha! You’ll need more than that just to bring me down puny little pokemon! Try this on for size!> Trubbish opened his mouth wide to use his sludge attack. It just poured out of his mouth like a hose, killing off some of the grass that it came in contact with.
