Susumu didn't expect to see the shadow of a giant bird flying overhead, especially not another Noctowl, but as he looked up it turned out that it was Mimuzuku! The motherly bird had some feelings for him after all, which surprised him to no end. He warmly embraced her in a hug, glad that he was able to be of some help. Sure, he probably shouldn't have captured her like that, but he wasn't really thinking about the children in this case. "Thanks." He said with a happy grin, rubbing the bird affectionately on her head as she dropped him a parting gift. It really wasn't necessary, but he held it tightly in his hands as he watched the Noctowl fly away like a majestic angel.
How cool was that? She was a fun Pokemon to have around, and by now he thought he had a soft spot for birds. They didn't fit his team theme, but man they were cool. Instant respect just because of the memories of this family of Hoothoot and Noctowls. With a chuckle, he wandered back into the mix of trees and grass, trying to find his way out of this place.
<Hm? A person?> The bushes began to shuffle as a burly cat emerged from them, dark yellow eyes gazing into Susumu's as the trainer looked over curiously. The Purugly was big and beefy, like a tiger, and it looked as if it might be ready to prey upon him. The Purugly had been on a search for some Pecha berries because a friend of his had been poisoned, but finding the help of human's was good as well! Susumu didn't know what to make of the creature, and flipped out his Pokedex to scan it.
It binds its body with its tails to make itself look bigger. If it locks eyes, it will glare ceaselessly. It is a brazen brute that barges its way into another Pokémon's nest and claims it as its own.
[/blockquote] Yikes, that didn't sound friendly! The only other issue was that the Purugly didn't quite match the Pokedex picture. It was purple, not blue. A thought told him that this was a shiny Pokemon, and suddenly its value shot up. He'd have to catch this damn thing, even if it fought like hell. "A Purugly, eh? Just you wait, I'll get you!" He had a sneaky look in his eyes, which made the Purugly a bit hesitant and doubtful, but something caught his gaze. The Purugly was wearing a collar around its neck, with a small Pokeball attached. "Huh. Don't tell me...someone owns you?" Well...! Well damn! That wasn't fair! He sighed in disappointment as he took a few steps closer to the Purugly to get a better look at the collar. It had the name 'Santino' on it, a weird name for sure. Sounded like a pizza place, except this cat clearly had no pizza. <If you're done with that weird trainer act, I need some help, see? Me and my boys were out for a stroll, when we got attacked by some Ekans out for lunch. I was fine, but my pal-o...he ain't lookin' so good.> The Purugly shook his head at the tale, before glaring back up at Susumu with that scary face of his, making the blonde feel a frog in his throat. "W-What...I don't know what you're saying. Uh...ok. Ok. I got it. Jenna, translate." That was an idea, why yes it was! Taking out the Bibarel's Pokeball to let a normal type talk to a fellow normal type, he let out the Bibarel with a grin. She appeared in front of the Purugly with a paw in front of her mouth, yawning from a nap. Her tail was large and her fangs were big, but she didn't look intimidating. She looked bored. "Hey, by the way..." He tossed the Mystic Necklace over to her, which she saw and caught in her paws, looking at it oddly. It looked pretty, so she slipped it on before looking away from Susumu, refusing to give thanks. The Purugly sure thought she was a diva, but he didn't comment. <You have a cure for poison, lassie?> He asked her, looking at her with a kinder gaze in hopes of appealing to her. The Bibarel did give a look towards him, and he did appear sincere. She simply hated giving her own things away, even if it was for a good cause. <No, you should just let whoever it is die. If it's strong, it'll live.> She smirked, to the Purugly's surprise. <Now there's no call for that kind of talk, ay!> He hissed dangerously, fur bristling up as he took a heavy step towards the Bibarel, getting extremely agitated at her smirk. She merely crossed her arms and shrugged, as if there was nothing she could do about it. Actually, she was holding onto a lum berry before she put the necklace on, but she wasn't about to tell him that. { Santino } Level 15|Male Thick Fat|Own Tempo Attacks: Explosion, Fake Out, Growl, Hypnosis, Scratch Personality: He was owned by someone else, which was clear by the collar tied around his neck. Not shiny, just poisoned... *Note: Once healed he'll go back to regular color... A Lotad quickly came out of the bushes wobbling a bit as he fell from side to side, obviously in a lot of pain as he spotted his friend who was simply talking to this trainer and Bibarel. >I, thought, you, were, getting, help.< He said as slowly as possible. It seriously felt like an eternity past when he finished speaking. He also had a very weird coloration, almost the same as a shiny Lotad but his was different as it seemed that part of it faded and other parts looked darker. It seemed the worst the poison, the darker it got and the better the poison, the lighter it got. He simply looked at the Bibarel and then at the Purugly and then simply fell on his side, too exhausted to do anything at all. >Please... help...< He said slowly with a very dry voice. Things looked bad, real bad. {Lotad}: Not shiny, just poisoned Gender: Male Level: 15 Attacks: Astonish, Growl, Absorb, Nature Power, Mist, Natural Gift Personality: A bit scared to evolve, tends to get himself into trouble very often, not the most social when he's sick Very poisoned! [OOC]: Again note, although this is the shiny sprite, he is in fact not shiny. I just wanted to use a sprite that made him look poisoned/sick

Susumu looked at the two Pokemon nervously as a tension was felt between the pair, as if they hated each other's guts. Jenna wasn't budging, and neither was the wild or tamed Purugly. There there, he'd have to think of a good resolution for this somehow. What in the world was going on though? The Purugly looked as if it came in peace, like it needed help of some kind, then Jenna had to go and be a bitch to him. Figures. It was a shame, he thought she was getting better at interacting with Pokemon, but maybe it was only because she was bored.
<That kind of talk will help make things easier on yourself. Look at you, crows feet already.> Jenna scoffed at Santino with crossed arms, wearing the Mystic Necklace clear around her neck that seemed to turn as dark as her personality. She might've been nicer than usual because she hung around a generally kinder trainer and team, but she was still set in her ways. The Purugly didn't like her way of thinking at all, and she enjoyed that sinister frown he was making. It thrilled her, the fear that was in the back of her mind.
<You worthless scum, I never should've bothered asking you--L-Lotad.> He heard his little friend's voice and turned his head to look sadly upon the creature. It was so weak compared to usual, and even the Lotad's leaf was wilting. Being in this kind of state made him fret with worry, and he couldn't even think of a proper retort to the Bibarel. <I was, but I asked the wrong people.> He snarled at the Bibarel, very tempted to scratch her fur out.
"Ah--oh geez. Jenna, I know you have a Lum Berry on you." Yeah, he knew she was holding onto one before he tossed her the Mystic Water. Susumu rushed over to the Lotad with the Purugly's concerned stare, realizing that the human meant to help. What he said sure picked up his interest, as a Lum Berry could cure almost any illness in the wild. He glared at the Bibarel, daring her to reveal that freaking berry.
<So...you can help after all.> He glowered when the Bibarel only shrugged at her trainer's words. Then he saw it, the green berry in her arms. It was her fault for holding too many items at once, and the moment he charged with a heavy Fake Out she was instantly knocked to the ground with a surprised grunt. He swiped the berry out of her paws, and to her rage she couldn't even retaliate. She was stuck on the ground with a flinch condition, leaving the mini battle with Santino as the victor.
<Lotad, this can help. Eat up.> Santino carefully walked next to Susumu to slip the Lum Berry in the Lotad's mouth, knowing that it would probably need some help eating it. Susumu looked at the Purugly nervously, half feeling as if the creature would beat him up if he said the wrong thing. "Sorry Jenna, you deserved that one." He muttered, hoping she wouldn't get up and start something.

His skin color even began to change back to the normal coloration after as his poisoned marks began to fade. The problem was, the poison had done so much damage to him already that the lum berry couldn't heal everything, nor could it fix him up completely.
He was still hurting from his sides even though the pain was not augmenting anymore. His pain was still there and he still felt like his sides were on fire and bleeding. He clutched his sides as tight as he could but eventually gave up and simply stood there, hoping that his friend Santino could help him some more.
>Do you have anything to cure the pain?< He asked Santino... He was such a hot mess...

The Lum Berry seemed to work; much to the relief of Santino and Susumu, and they were completely blocking the scene from Jenna in the background. She grunted with a wince as she slowly pushed herself off the ground, scowling from this treatment. This wasn't fair at all, she got attacked and her trainer wasn't allowing her the pleasure of fighting back. He was a coward, a wimp, and he simply disgusted her. She sat upright and crossed her arms stubbornly, too mad to even speak to the rest of the group. This was madness! Madness! Susumu glanced back at her to check on her and she caught his gaze, with an upset 'humth' she looked the other way. Oh, Susumu knew she would be mad, but she wasn't attacking anyone or anything.
"There, see? That's better." He patted the Lotad on the head, thinking they were done with this, but the Lotad was still looking rather pitiful. He supposed if you were poisoned, something must've attacked you in the first place. So maybe the injuries were still kind of bad, sad but true. Santino held his tongue when the Lotad asked for more, but he was going to provide his friend with anything he needed. After all, he was a true friend! <Come on guy, eh? You have somethin' for my buddy.> He pawed at Susumu, grinning in a charming manner to try and encourage him into being helpful.
<Oh come off it, you're being scammed and making me look like a fool. If I knocked you unconscious, you worthless weed, you'd wake up later and be fine. Stop being a tool.> Jenna snapped, getting up and charging at the Lotad to try and stop this once and for all. Santino was staring in shock, tripping over his own feet in an attempt to tackle her away, but Susumu was faster. He pulled out her Pokeball and returned her before she could cause any damage, thank goodness.
<Your Pokemon are psychos. I don't know how you manage.> The tiger cat muttered, shaking his head as he tried to get over what had happened. Susumu wanted to hit himself for that, but whatever. He could heal this darn thing, at least a little. He took out a potion and started spraying the Lotad, wondering if it would look any better this time. "I hope I get something out of this." He sighed, mostly to himself. If not he really was scammed, haha.

Unfortunately for Shamu, it did all feel like a scam as after the Lotad took the potion and felt much better, he decided to take off... Just like that. >Thank you kind sir for all your help. But I think I ought to be leaving now.< He said as he motioned for Santino to follow him out. >Lets go Santino, no need in disturbing them anymore!< The Lotad said as he was planning on taking his exit. He knew trainers, especially having met Santino's former master. Trainer's were always up to no good, they were always looking out for themselves, and one or two kind acts now always led to problems later on. Either a battle, or something else... Trainers usually were up to no good and he didn't want to stick around long enough for the blond to show him his true side. >Lets go Santino!< He gestured, although he was going to leave with or without the Purugly. ::Lotad:: {Lotad} Gender: Male Level: 15 Attacks: Astonish, Growl, Absorb, Nature Power, Mist, Natural Gift Personality: A bit scared to evolve, tends to get himself into trouble very often, not the most social when he's sick Thanks for the help, now I gotta go (TROLOLOL)

Santino picked up on the Lotad's tone that they were getting ready to leave this very second, and he started to follow with a dumbfounded look. This guy totally just helped his bro, even if his Pokemon were really cruel. He was inclined to return that favor somehow, but he had no idea how to do it. <Uh, uh...right!> He stuttered, chasing after the Lotad despite not having anything to pay the guy back.
"Wha--heyyyy. Can't a guy do a good deed and get something back?" Susumu whined at the Lotad's sudden disappearance, though he did feel warm and fuzzy inside for helping a wild Pokemon. Well, hey! Where were they going anyways? He was curious, and decided to follow the pair of Pokemon.
Besides, it was a shiny Purugly. Could he really let that damn thing out of his sight? He had to see the owner, or at least if it was abandoned so he could possibly take it in. He was being that greedy, so he gave chase. The occasional rustle of bushes and the hint of a sparkly tail was enough for Susumu to actually follow them, though they had quite the lead.
<Lotad, if you run so fast you'll get hurt again.> Santino warned with a joke, oblivious that they were being followed. He still had that favor on his mind, then he had his little buddy to be worried about. Gosh, the things that grass type could get into when he wasn't looking...

Woo Ah!< He started prancing around again and again, not knowing that there were people behind him, or that Santino was keeping a close watch of him. He was a bit clueless of his surroundings which was why he ended up getting himself in trouble so many times. He never watches where he goes, and usually gets into trouble before realizing that he needed to change.
>La La La!< He started saying as he ran all over the place again. Until he tripped on a rock and ended up smashing head first into a boulder and making a loud crashing sound. Hopefully he didn't awaken anyone or anything while he was at it.
>Ouch...< He started to say when he turned around and noticed that the blond trainer had followed them. He was far off, but he was still in the line of vision.
>Hey Santino. Look behind you!< He said, hoping that the Purugly could take care of the trainer as he wasn't much of a fighter himself.

<Oh, pfft. Well see what you did there?> Santino laughed when the Lotad crashed into something, not even looking all that bothered that he went through a minor injury. He trotted behind the Lotad and started to help him up with his tail, not minding at all that he was being such a helper to this trouble maker. He had other friends that were like the Lotad, but this Lotad was the one that got in the most trouble.
The Lotad seemed to be looking at something, so he blinked in confusion and glanced up. Odd, he didn't see anyone. Why was that? Susumu was hiding behind a tree, thinking he could be a ninja in this kind of situation. Santino looked back down at the Lotad with a disappointed shake of his head. <Come on, you're imagining things. Let's hurry back to the gang. They'll be glad to hear those damn Ekans won't be bothering us for a while.> He huffed, the entire reason Lotad got hurt in the first place. Santino was no leader, but he fit in rather nicely with the group of Pokemon he met.
Susumu blinked with surprise after hearing the Lotad's surprised cry, certain that he was heard this time, but slowly peeked out from his hiding spot to see the Purugly looking away from him. So they didn't see him, and that was only a close call...right? Right? The trainer didn't even bother to move, stalking these guys seemed a lot easier for him anyways.

He was a bit childish and a bit rash and reckless, but he always had a good heart and a good head which was probably why Santino still hung out with him. And he also quickly forgot that he was being stalked by the trainer as he ran off this time again, seeing what was ahead of him and just simply enjoying his scenery. >La La La! You won't catch me! Susumu was still on the Purugly's trail, but Santino had a trail of his own to follow. <Hey, Lotad. Come on, be nice to a big guy.> The Purugly growled in a friendly way, fretting over the grass type's sudden disappearance. Where he looked, all he saw was grass, trees, and ponds with a lot of moss and leaves in them. It was a dirty little area that was perfect for a Lotad to hide in, much to his dismay. This was really stupid, he at least hoped that the Lotad was going in the right direction. Otherwise he didn't know where to start.
The Purugly started to slow down on his way over to the gang's place, which was a bit far off but he wouldn't get tired from the walk. He looked left to right in his anxiety, mewing for Lotad to come out if the grass type was in hearing distance. This behavior was not overlooked at all, and Susumu was soon rubbing his chin as he decided to take another chance with the Purugly. "You need help again?" He called, smiling as he approached the shiny Purugly with his best disarming posture. Santino was surprised, no doubt, but he figured that the trainer either heard his calls or they happened to be going in the same direction. He didn't even think he was being stalked, shame.
<Ah, it's you. I'm looking for Lotad.> Santino frowned, looking at the spot in the ground beside him, as if he was looking at his little friend. Susumu saw most of it happen, so he knew what was up. At least kind of. "Lotad, huh? He can really get in trouble for such a little guy." Susumu sighed, thinking of his own Vulpix as he thought of the Purugly's pain. Yes, yes. He could help them out right? Sadly he didn't exactly have any Pokemon that were skilled at finding things, and most of them were better at hiding anyways!
"Four eyes are better than two, I'll give you a hand." The trainer offered, making Santino blink in surprise. Was this guy a bro? Because he was acting like such a bro right now, he was even willing to give the trainer a kiss on the cheek. <Alright, t-thanks man. You're saving me so much.> The Purugly grinned, and then the pair started their search.

He just wanted to see how it felt using it in the area and it didn't feel nice to him, but he quickly jumped into another area. This time a little grassy place where it felt a little nicer but the rough grass didn't feel so nice on his skin so he jumped into the pond after. This one was much better than the other two, but the current moved too fast that it began to blow him away.
Okay, now he just went completely missing... As if he could have been found before anyways. The Lotad was such a troubling pokemon, always running off and exploring, and always getting himself into trouble. He quickly looked back and saw that Santino had gone completely missing, but at this point he was simply too far away for Santino to find.
Instead he just covered himself with a nice mist and started to explore the waters again. >La La La!< Now where did his crazy journey take him? Was he in the mud? Swamp? Sea? Grass? Where exactly did he go?
Well... at least while he went missing, Shamu could keep Santino company. And maybe even deceive him a bit...

[[Mods can ignore this post, considering it as a private moment between the two. xD ]]
They were carefully searching around the route, looking at some trees, creeks, small ponds, and various other places but that Lotad was becoming a bit too tricky to find. Santino sighed, plopping down while Susumu was busy lifting up a rock to see if the Lotad had somehow become squished underneath it. <I give up, man. That guy. He's a good Pokemon, but he makes things so hard on others.> The Purugly chuckled with a sad shake of his head, catching Susumu's attention as he dropped the rock with a heavy 'thud'. You know, maybe he should try to get this Purugly. That's it. He was going to make an attempt!
"Your name's Santino, right? Owned by another trainer?" The Purugly looked at him, wondering what this was going as he nodded to each of the trainer's questions. "Is Lotad also a part of that...uh, team?" For some reason the word 'team' slipped his mind, but Santino gave him a negative on that. By reason of deduction, he figured that Santino and Lotad must've met in the wild.
"So where's your trainer? Think he's out looking for you?" He asked, slipping his hands into his pockets as he watched the Purugly's gaze shift into a dark, unforgiving stare. There was no answer to that, but Susumu could guess that whatever happened it was not pretty. <It's not something I want to talk about.> Santino purred, licking his paw and rubbing a smudge of dirt off of his cheeks. His tail twitched at the memory, but said no more about it.
<Don't tell me you're going to give me that annoying 'you should come with me' speech. About how you can feed me, take care of me, and keep me dry.> The Purugly growled with suspicion, but Susumu had no idea what the cat was saying.
"You could come with me ya know..." Susumu hinted with a cough, earning a fierce snarl from Santino. "K-K-KIDDING. Kidding!" He waved his hands quickly in the air, fearful of that sudden reaction from Santino. The Purugly seemed to relax after a tense moment, realizing that this trainer couldn't understand him like the previous trainer did.
<Sure you were kidding. Sure.> The Purugly said harshly, before shaking himself off and walking a little more through the paths. Susumu followed, to help of course, and occasionally called out the Lotad's name to get its attention. The Purugly did as well, and gradually became relaxed around the trainer again.
"So what's with the Pokeball, huh? Some kind of memento?" Susumu asked again, hoping to keep the Purugly in some kind of chatty mood so his chances of keeping it would go up. Santino thought about it for a moment, before nodding the affirmative. <I wasn't actually uh, released. It's my old Pokeball.> The cat purred, but didn't go into more details. As if Susumu would understand him anyways. The trainer actually assumed this from the start, and with Santino agreeing just made him more hopeful. Maybe the cat was saving it for someone worthy.
<You're boring, for a nice guy that is. Predictable too.> Santino mewed in amusement, walking past Susumu and bumping into the trainer's legs in a teasing motion. What the Purugly didn't notice was that the trainer took the chance to unhitch the Pokeball smoothly from the collar, and hid it behind his back. "Whoa, hey now." He laughed, so freaking glad he got the Pokeball from the Purugly without him noticing.
"Well since Lotad is gone, maybe I should have a chance at being able to battle you. Maybe as...payment for helping your friend out." Oh gosh, he used that card. The Purugly's ears perked up at that and turned to face the trainer with a serious glare. If that's how it was gonna be, then he was willing to battle. Susumu pointed the Pokeball in his hands at the Purugly, as if he was about to send out a Pokémon to challenge the shiny tiger. "Return." Susumu snickered, flashing the cat a peace sign as Santino was returned into his Pokeball with a panicked look.

He liked the way the trainer acted, he sure was tricky and very trollish. The Rufflet was definitely intrigued by the trainer as he was known as the most trollish pokemon in this region, and this trainer was probably the most troll trainer. This would be an epic battle, he could already feel it as he quickly flew right under Shamu before he tried to peck at his foot while ending up on the other side. >Haha! Hope this doesn't hurt too much!< He exclaimed, expecting to see the trainer in a lot of pain after getting a sharp beak to the toe. >You're cool. Lets battle!< He said after. ::Rufflet:: Male | Level 18 | Keen Eye + Sheer Force Attacks: Peck, Leer, Fury Attack, Wing Attack, Hone Claw Personality: The biggest troll in route two. Huh, now this looked like a spunky Pokemon. Susumu's thought were still on the Purugly, but he could feel the Pokeball trembling in his hands as he felt the Pokemon try to escape. "Stop that, it's better this way." He chided, seeing the Purugly's face turn into an annoyed frown as he looked through the red part of the sphere. He snickered a little and returned it to his belt, only half thinking about the Rufflet that flew around him with merry cries. He sure didn't think he caught the bird's interest until it pecked his tennis shoes, making him cringe and step back with concern. The beak jabbed right at the material, not cutting it but sure putting a hell of a lot of pressure on his fragile toes.
"Gah! Now why you do this?" He huffed, rubbing his foot against his leg to try and soothe the pain, but it sure made him want to punch a tree. He managed to fumble out a Pokedex as he went to scan the creature, finding out it was a Rufflet from a newly discovered region somewhere far away. Well if that was the case, he was going to try and catch it. It wouldn't replace how awesome that wild Noctowl was, but this was a neat looking bird.
"Ken, we're going to catch this guy." He sent out his Geodude, who decided to himself that he should make dramatic entrances to be more noticeable. It wasn't easy being a rock after all, and the two armed rock slammed his hands into the earth, rumbling up a weak magnitude as the trees and water began to tremble. Susumu's legs chattered against each other as he felt the vibrations run up his body and finally to his teeth, making them shiver. "T-T-Thanks for that." He said sarcastically, still shaking from the Magnitude. Ken smirked and cross his arms, looking at the winged beast with confidence. <As long as you keep your feathers together, I'm in.> He joked, poking fun at the Rufflet a bit.

"Gah! Now why you do this?" The trainer huffed, and the rufflet laughed, trying to fluff up his hair like he fluffs up his mane of feathers that framed his bird-face. "Na naaa~ you should look like me~" He puffed out his mane further, making his face and body look smaller in comparison. "Ken, we're going to catch this guy." That word. Catch. The Rufflet shook his head, flying around unaffected from the magnitude. How did this trainer expect to catch a flying type with a pokemon who knows ground moves? "You're not gonna catch me like thaaaat~" The Rufflet teased, and then dived down in the air, beak at the ready to chip off pieces of the rock. | [atrb=style, background-color:#ffbf90; width:100px; padding:5px;][atrb=valign,top]

<Look like you? Maybe, but I sure wouldn't want to smell like you pigpen.> Ken added as the ground finished rumbling, not caring that his trainer was glaring at him from behind. Hey, at least he didn't use rock throw on everything in sight. The sassy Geodude felt as if he was in control, especially since he handled that Pidgey very well the last time he battled a flying type. He might not know a thing about Rufflets, but he was darn sure that he could take'em on.
<Watch and learn, boys. The master is in the house.> He started to spin around in a confident manner, using a rock polish to make that flighty Pokemon easier to catch up to. He was going to need it if he was going to be able to make any hits, since he was a very heavy rock.
"There's a peck coming at you, stupid." Susumu teased as he took a few steps away from the action, feeling like he was at risk at this point for being so close. The Geodude was pecked after he got that nice sleek design, and he just glared at the bird. <Watch it.> He grumbled, not feeling the hit too much.
"Just go in with a Rollout. See what happens." Yeah, it felt riskier out here to do that, but he was sure that Ken wouldn't fall into a ditch or something. The Geodude curled right up and began to roll after the Rufflet, a bit slow and weak at first, but the longer he did this the faster he went. Right then, a Pidgey flew by and dropped a package from the MOD shop, a very fancy place. Susumu managed to catch it and excitedly rummaged through his new goods, which had a ton of tms in it. He'd have to figure out who would get what later though.

It was fast and painful, but it didn't dampen his mood as he was still as excitable as ever, even after getting smacked hard by this opponent he was up against.
>Nice attack. Mind I do one better?< He joked before he gave the Geodude a mean leering glance. >Take that! Boom boom pow!< He said before his mind changed and saw a pidgey drop a package to Shamu.
>Wow you even have birds do stuff for you? Wow I must step up my trolling game or else you might overtake me!< She said prior to running right at the Geodude with her wings extended, hoping to hit the opponent hard.

The leer was felt by the Geodude, but he had no choice but to keep going after smacking into the Rufflet for the first time. The move felt good actually, landing back on the ground and rolling around in wide circles to try and pick up the speed naturally. The Rufflet took advantage of this and started to shove him off balance with a Wing Attack, but sadly it also wasn't very effective. He grunted as he nearly spiraled out of the circle, but fought back for control as he rolled after that flighty bird once more. There was a small issue though-- that bird was a sneak! He'd need some guidance chasing after it while rolling around.
"A little to the left Ken! No wait, now the right! You're going too far, turn back and get it." Susumu was struggling to direct the Geodude properly, and the rollout was only getting stronger with each hit. The Pidgey that dropped him the goods flew away, and he was left trying to organize what he had while guiding Ken towards the Rufflet. Ken was getting agitated with all of this, but he was determined to hit this opponent.
90% accuracy, he could totally take this thing on! He was positive! Maybe a little doubtful, but who cared about doubts when you were just plain awesome? The Geodude didn't stop his rollout at all, and went ahead with another rollout turn at the Rufflet. Susumu could only imagine how much this would hurt if the bird kept letting it hit.

The Rufflet stood no chance. The Geodude's attack was simply too fast. The rollout ran into the bird's little body, sending the hawkling flying. The small troll was stopped by the nearby bridge. The collision was very painful and a sickening crunch could be heard. Surprisingly, even after the brutal attack and the meeting with the bridge, the trickster was still smiling stupidly. <You're such a boring piece of rock, Kenny! Why can't you use something else except rolling around like an idiot?>
The Rufflet gave the Geodude an intimidating glare, trying to lower the rock type's defense. Maybe if he keeps weakening the opponent's defense, he'll be able to knock it out even if his attacks were all resisted by the rock. The flying type tried to fly into the skies, but a sharp pain stabbed into his side, making the bird fell back to the ground. The Rufflet was panting slightly, clutching his aching side. Looks the last rollout broke two ribs. Heh. That's not good. At this rate he won't be able to show them the ultimate trolling.
