I'm sure I'm not the only one who comes across this problem social-wise.
Roleplaying is different than that stereo type shit you see on TV. We are not some lifeless 30 year olds that are socially awkward sitting in our mother's basement playing D&D dressed up as knights and all that and waving them around at 'the goblins'. Although D&D is pretty cool, and I like to play it with my 8 year old brother and dad, that is not what all of us do.
As I have stated before to you people at home, school, wherever. Roleplaying, in the way that I'm certain people on here do, is creative writing. We like to do it in groups, mostly of 2-4 people per threads. We don't dress up as anime characters all the time and sit in little circle tables saying things like "Fear dragon has just attacked your camp. What do."
So, please, person at school and person at home that I'd rather not name, stop calling this place my 'nerd kingdom'. Stop relating these people to those 30 year olds, because the people I like to spend all day hanging out with are anything but. They're amazing people that have influenced my life in so many positive ways that I feel like I can't stop thanking them.
Next time you say something at all offensive about them especially when I am in a skype call with some I am going to flat out tell you to stop, apologize, and to never say it again. Because it's really getting to my last nerve.

fot I lovvvvveee youuuuu in that non-creepy way. I feel the same way though. It really is just creative writing, which I adore. I like being able to share that with other people as well, so its like a game to challenge yourself too.

this thread makes me sad since I know one day i'll inevitably one of those 30 year olds and I don't see anything wrong with it what so ever. xD I am a nerd and proud of it~ what i'm wondering is why you're in denial / care what other people think.xD
