Oh, one thing was sure. Gypsies sure could make a party. Even if it was just one. Violin set against his neck, he played a fast, cheery tune, soon making everyone stamp their feet and dance along. No quiet walz here, this was fast and upbeat. Silva's voice came above all, even without a microphone or a table. He danced round and round as he sang.
There were three old gypsies came to our hall door They came brave and boldly-o And the one sang high and the other sang low And the other sang a raggle taggle gypsy-o
It was upstairs, downstairs the lady went Put on her suit of leather-o There was a cry from around the door She's away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o
It was late that night when the lord came in Inquiring for his lady-o "Where is my bride?" says the servant girl: "She's away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o"
"Saddle for me my milk white steed My big horse is not speedy-o I will ride till I seek my bride She's away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o"
Now he rode east, and he rode west He rode north and south also Until at last he came to a wide open field It was there that he spied his lady-o
"How could you leave your house and your land How could you leave your money-o How could you leave your only wedded lord All for a raggle taggle gypsy-o"
"What care I for my house and my land And what care I for my money-o? I'd rather have a kiss from the yellow gypsy's lips I'm away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o"
"Tonight you slept in a goosefeather bed Your blankets strewn so comely-o How could you leave your newly wedded lord All for a raggle taggle gypsy-o"
"What care I for my goosefeather bed With blankets strewn so comely-o Tonight I lay in a wide-open field In the arms of the raggle taggle gypsy-o"

The music around him was slow and heavy. It was the sort of thing Mr. Darcy would dance too in Pride and Prejudice. Two long straight lines of humans, dancing in complex and and beautiful patterns, at least Raff assumed that they were. But it was all too formal and intricate for the young man's tastes. It reminded him of being home, things so stiff and formal. It was like something was trying to suck the fun out of the room. Raff was easily over-exaggerating the affect of the classical music on him, he didn't like to be reminded of home much. But then something awesome happened. The air was alive. A violin and someone's voice rising above it all. His foot was tapping and it didn't take long for his body to start dancing to the music. The lithe male's movements were as light and fun as the music he was dancing too. He wove his way towards the music so that he was closer to it, where he immediately joined in a group that had begun dancing near Silva, a light and fun dance that perfectly matched the music. Raff laughed and smiled, and his beautiful blue-green eyes twinkled behind his mask.

Blitz walked into the room when he heard the music. It was very calm and very beautiful. He was still a little nervous as he thought people could see right through his disguise.
It was not expensive and it was not too decorative. Just a plain suit and a plain black mask. But he did get to cover his red eyes with the protective gear that was blue... That was a nice change. He gestured towards the music and stopped while he saw the person playing. He felt at peace, and very relaxed. Like it was just him and music playing, no one around to bother him and no one around to ridicule him.
He liked this peacefulness and welcomed it with open arms. But in the back of his mind he also hoped someone was around to talk to him...

For several minutes, the song kept everyone in trance. The melody kept them dancing, forgetting the worries of the world and live only in the rythm. As Silva finished the song, he received a round of applause, which he accepted happily.
Silva lowered his violin and decided not to play more songs for now, allowing the band to take over again. After all, he was not the one hired to do this all night. Just a surprise song. He bowed with a bright smile before stepping down, moving to the bar to down a glass of champagne down. The best thing about parties, he considered. Alcohol at the ready, as well as tasty food. And the best quality too!
He noticed Raff nearby, having seen him before, dancing along to his song eagerly. "Did you like that?" He asked with a bright smile, offering the other a glass of champagne. "You're not a bad dancer." He complimented the other.

(omg D: people replied to this and I didn't notice. I just sorta forgot about this.... <don't kill me> )
It had been easy to dance and let himself go. And then the music stopped. The spell was broken. Raff almost immediately shifted away from the group he'd been dancing with to avoid actually talking to them. He just gave them a polite smile and faded into the crowd, ending up near Blitz. He ruffled his black hair, slightly sweaty hands pushing it out of his face. A voice caught his attention. Surprisingly it seemed to be meant for him. His checkered face turned to the voice, it was the musician who had just been playing. A grin grew upon Raff's face and he nodded. "Hell yeah. You play really well." He said enthusiastically, also turning over to Blitz, the man who had also been addressed by the musician, nodding in agreement, only out of politeness. He hadn't noticed anyone outside of his little group dancing. But if the musician himself was complimenting him it had to be true.

Blitz stared blankly at the two before getting a drink from the bar and downing it. He chose something non alcoholic as he was not much of a drinker. And once he had finished his drink, he ended up staring at the two again. Blankly into their eyes while they were talking to each other. He awkwardly kind of wanted to join in the conversation, but also wanted to resist... So he thought the best thing to do was stare blankly into their eyes.
He looked at Silva, and then at Raff, then back at Silva. Before finally looking at Raff. He eventually got tired and began to stare off into the crowd while the two were mingling. He wasn't much of a talker, and did not say a single word... But he did mutter a <"Good job."> at the direction of the two. He didn't really know who he was saying that to, maybe to Silva? Maybe to Raff? Maybe even to both? Or maybe he wasn't even talking to them?
