"Hm...he should be here soon." Seamus flipped out his pocket watch as he glanced at the second hand creeping around the numbers at a fast pace. It made him anxious looking at it, and yet he found himself compelled to check the time every now and then. A younger competitor of his that liked battling against him was supposed to arrive for a battle, to settle some kind of score from their previous battles. He had gotten fairly better as a trainer, and from what Seamus had heard, so had Sam. The odd ball of a kid was making some kind of a name for himself for beating Paris, which made people wonder just how far he'd get.
Seamus was a bit concerned about gaining a reputation with each Gym he beat, but he figured it was only a side effect he'd have to deal with somehow. He was tempted to challenge the Gym in his home town soon, but some extra practice would've been nice to have.
Neon and Steel were chirping with each other, Steel attempting to show Neon how to dig a hole while the Magnemite watched in fascination. He was touching the earth and wasn't appalled by it?! How strange, especially for her.

Two battles so far, and two losses. Sam was definitely in a funk when it came to battling Seamus who always seemed to have his number. He had gotten much better as a trainer but even still, the burly old man found a way to beat him every time they battled. Sam had to make a change this time around, or else he might be an unlucky 0 for 3. He couldn't have that happen and he needed to make an impact early and sustain it for the length of the battle. When Sam walked into the trainer lounge, he saw his name up on the screen in the elite room. It seemed that someone had already penciled a battle with him, someone who wanted to beat him a third time. Sam was full of jubilation once he saw the room number and quickly sprinted there to challenge the trainer. When he arrived, he noticed that the trainer had already summoned two Pokémon onto the field. One, the Magnemite he had already fought previously. The other was someone he had never seen before... This was going to be an interesting battle but Sam knew he had to start fast and start hard. He needed to make a name for himself and decided that the best way to do this was through rarity. Instantly, he threw out two pokeballs and from them popped out a Shelgon and Magmortar... They were classified as ultra rare, as rare and powerful as you get for Pokémon. This was a good time for him to test out his own Pokémon and also create a bigger name for himself. One that would definitely help since he had recently taken over as lieutenant of the Ace Trainer Academy. "Hey! Lets see how you handle these." He smiled before he waited for Seamus to make the first move. Hopefully by the end of this, he could recruit one of the best trainers he knows into the illustrious organization that would fight evil. Toothless huffed when she saw the two trainer and quickly put her head down trying to nap. She was bored already. Blaze on the other hand quickly started to point his arm at Sam and quickly sent out a weak burst of fire. He was such a jokester.

The two Pokemon were the first to perk up at the sounds of footsteps rapidly approaching the door, too curious to be put on the defensive they simply stared at Sam as the boy looked at their own trainer. The Drilbur felt as if he was being eyeballed, gulping under the look as the stranger examined him. Neon knew Sam though, and waved a friendly magnet at him as she whirled around Steel's head in amusement. So he was the trainer they were waiting for, she was glad!
Seamus himself was smiling at the sight of the energetic lad's posture, immediately sending out two Pokemon to counter his. They both looked strong-- very strong, honestly he wondered how he was going to handle such a beastly fire type. His team always had a very hard time dealing with that particular type, and he had yet to figure out a way around it. Slowly he was adjusting his team to combat the weakness, but it was still difficult.
"Glad you could make it. We seem to have an easy time finding each other." Seamus chuckled, feeling more at ease when it came to battling Sam, as if he didn't have to be so strict and distant. "Let's start then." Seamus nodded, motioning for his team to get ready as they took in the intimidating appearances of their foes.
Neon thought she recognized the Magmortor, but she couldn't be sure. Was it the same Magby as she remembered? "Light Screen and Dig." Best to protect his Pokemon while Seamus could, right? Steel quickly retreated underground, avoiding any attacks that could come his way while Neon put up a defensive barrier to halve the damage from special attacks. "Now Thunderbolt the Magmortor." He ordered, knowing his biggest threat was going to need damage on it right away. The Magnemite fired off a strong electrical discharge at the fire type, feeling the tingling sensation as it coated her body until the attack had finally finished.

Sam was excited when Seamus made the first move as it was something he could easily counter. The Light Screen was a nice protective covering and the thunderbolt was also a very nice touch, it was a neat combination, he'd definitely give the trainer credit for that. The only issue, Seamus did not know Magmortar's attacks so this was definitely going to go his way. Toothless even began to take it a bit more seriously when he saw the Thunderbolt hit Blaze and cause him to cackle a bit. She started to get more serious and even did the unthinkable by actually obeying what Sam had to say. That was a weird touch! It seemed his new authority really influenced his pokemon, or maybe it was because she was getting close to the level to evolve so she started to respect him more? Either way, it was definitely a nice sight seeing her actually look at Sam with some sort of respect. And thus, Sam quickly smiled and made his move. "Toothless, Protect!" He said, and she was all too happy to oblige because she saw the attack of her foe and did not want to deal with that herself. She put up a nice protective layer above herself and soon felt even more fortunate when she saw what her partner did... "Blaze, Earthquake." Sam smiled, he knew this would leave a mark and thus went for it. Blaze, furious from the bolt suddenly began to put both cannons onto the floor before splashing hard with his lava in order to create a rumbling scenery that went after everyone on the field. Luckily, Toothless was saved because of her protective layer. "Too bad your Pokémon is underground." Sam laughed after. It was a great start! Now he had to finish with an encore. "Confuse Ray on the Magnemite." He laughed, it was going to be epic! And with that, a rainbow beam came out at Neon in hopes of confusing her. Hopefully with that, she would recognize her foe!

Seeing the protect come up was a little concerning, but when he heard the Earthquake command Seamus was a little shocked. That wasn't good at all, especially because he didn't see that coming at all! Not from a fire type at the very least. He stared at the ground in concern as the tunnels Steel was building began to collapse around him, causing additional damage as he cried out in pain. Neon also squealed as she hovered in mid-air, the magnetic forces keeping her afloat rumbling strongly as they trailed up the current, making her shake like a baby's rattle. They both were hurt so easily by one attack, and honestly it had Seamus baffled.
"Well then..." He coughed, trying to hide his surprise but failing. Sam got him good that time, he was going to have to avoid using Dig ever. Bad move, especially when Earthquake was so much better. Steel had energy in him to fight though, popping out of the ground with a strong dig to back him up against the fire type, hopefully striking after all of his efforts. Neon however, looked on uselessly as the Confuse Ray took effect. "The irony." Seamus laughed, amused that his annoyer had been annoyed right back.
Neon fruitlessly hurt herself in her confusion, but at least it didn't do much damage to herself due to her high defenses and weak offenses. It was rather costly though, meaning that she wouldn't be able to attack this turn. Both of his Pokemon were already weak; talk about a type mismatch. This could've started a lot better.

Sam couldn't have been happier and he quickly cheered on his team when he saw the combination working in succession and doing a great deal of damage to his enemy. Both looked like they were weakening already, and the battle had just started! The change of events was seriously fantastic and he couldn't help but be elated as it actually looked like he would win a battle, for once! He would actually win! "Alright, now keep it u-" He stopped when the Drilbur continued his move and smashed hard onto Blaze from the ground. That left a big bruise on his Magmortar as the super effective attack did a number on him. But at the meantime, his necklace began to really start shining and he thus knew immediately what was about to occur. This couldn't have gone on any better! "Alright. Now lets make it hurt. Confuse Ray on the Drilbur, then Flame Charge on the Magnemite." He smiled. Now this was a nice combination as the flame charge was more physical than the previous move so the light screen wouldn't do much. And the added boost in speed wouldn't hurt either. Blaze quickly got ready and repeated with another rainbow beam, this time at Steel as he then shot a large lava beam up in the air before jumping in it and covering himself for even greater power. Now this would leave a mark! Toothless on the other hand quickly looked over at Sam for her next command and he quickly responded with one of his favorite. "Dragon Pulse." He said, but unlike before she simply ignored him this time around and instead made a large sneeze. This in turn created a large and powerful twister, amplified by her glasses as she sent it at both enemies. This discouraged Sam as the power of the Twister was much weaker than the Dragon Pulse. But he didn't mind too much as Blaze looked at him, ready for a third attack. "Psychic on the Drilbur now!" He said and quickly Blaze's eyes began to turn white again, but this time a much more powerful psychic shock was sent at the Drilbur. One that was a lot more powerful than when he was a measly Magby...

This turn was rather disheartening for Seamus, attempting to save face as he tried to hide his pity for his Pokemon and his shock at how far Sam had come along. Their last battle they were rather close, as in, either one of them could have been the winner. This time around, Sam was completely dominating the battle since the very first turn. He'd definitely have to watch out for Earthquake in future battles, and he had to consider the movesets of his Pokemon. Sure, they'd eventually learn better attacks as they grew stronger, but he had a lot to think about if he was ever going to become a stronger trainer. He had some work to do if he wanted to go as far as he could in this region without fear of encountering stronger Pokemon, working in safety no matter where he went. Now that would be something nice indeed.
Steel was completely bombarded by attacks as he was confused, wobbling around back and forth as he tried to make sense of what was going on. Neon was regaining her senses, but having both Pokemon confused wasn't going to be good for him at all. Seamus crossed his fingers and hoped for the best. The Light Screen did its part for the Twister and Psychic, but in the end both of his Pokemon were weak. He didn't know how long they'd be able to last against these foes, but it wouldn't be long now. At the very least, Seamus knew how to extend a battle by annoying them, so he was going to give that a shot. "Supersonic and Spark on the Magmortor. Steel, use Hone Claws and Rock Slide."
He hoped this would work. Neon had to be quick about this as she fired off a loud and obnoxious supersonic at the Magmortor to make things harder on Sam, then made a quick hit-and-run on the fire type to at least try to weaken it while Steel sharpened his claws in the background. They both appeared competent this turn at the very least; smiling a little as Steel launched a bunch of rocks at both of his foes with increasing accuracy.

Sam was getting a bit overconfident after his showpiece and suddenly felt like he was invincible and had no way of losing. He even ignored the incoming supersonic as he felt that Blaze was too awesome to attack himself, and also tried to mutter a laugh when the spark came and struck his Pokémon. It was much weaker than the original thunderbolt so he didn't feel bad at all, even though Blaze's wounds were beginning to show even more with every attack. The rockslide then came and struck both of his Pokémon very well and soon he began to see Blaze in a terrible position as he began to stumble after the attacks and even mistakenly put his own cannon into his fast and blew a big smoke all over himself which caused him to fall on his ass and become useless this turn. "Well, that's a way of turning it around..." Sam sighed, although he was still overconfident as he still felt that he had the advantage his way. But he knew he had to act quickly or he might lose this. The only issue was, before he could even voice anything Toothless already created a large pool of water and shot it at the Drilbur. Well, if anything this was definitely a move he'd support... "Alright. Lets see who wins round one!" Sam said, still a bit overconfident although this turn really did bring him down a tad. And he felt that this, getting toward the end of the first round, would be as good of a chance as any to recruit possibly. "So, I have a new organization that is starting up... Interested in joining? We are going to go after Team Death. I believe I've seen you get into a few run ins with them? Would you have any interest in helping us out?" He asked. He just wanted to spark some interest first...

The Hydro Pump was struggling against the Light Screen a bit, but what did manage to get through was more than enough to take out Steel. The Drilbur was completely soaked as he fell on the ground in a fainted mess, unable to continue battling after everything he endured so early in the battle. Seamus wasn't surprised and merely returned the ground type back into its Pokeball, knowing that it had tried even though it was being fairly useless at the moment. Feeling the Pokeball tremble as Steel was inside, he slipped it away as the Magmortor attacked itself in confusion, leaving Neon with some time to get herself together. "Focus on the Shelgon. Thunderwave and Tackle." It was the best advice he could give, considering how the dragon was resistant to so many attacks.
"This is going to feel like a stupid choice to send out..." Seamus mused as he took out his next Pokeball, but he wanted to give the Kabuto some proper training. "However, someone has to learn obedience." He finished, releasing a psychotic looking Kabuto onto the field as it constantly twitched and clashed its claws together. It was smart, despite the nervous, anxious behavior. He might've lost some of his pride after losing his control over the Pokemon in the city, but he had the goal of being the mob boss once more. He'd rise somehow! Take over them all! Instinctively he leered at both of his foes, demanding respect from them as he cackled.
"Scald the Magmortor." Hopefully that would be good enough to weaken it further, knowing that it would be super effective. The Kabuto hissed at being told what to do, but he understood Seamus's intentions. Get stronger, obtain power. For now, Rust was using Seamus as a tool to get the power he wanted, so he'd listen. Somewhat. He fired off a hot scald at the Magmortor in hopes of teaching it a lesson, while Neon crackled and charged after the Shelgon with electricity building up on her magnets. She lashed out with the thunderwave, using the electricity like whips in order to make her tackle easier to connect.
"An organization, eh?" Seamus commented in some surprise at the proposal, not thinking that Sam was mature enough to start anything like that on his own. "I'm not sure if I understand. You have an organization?" He started in disbelief, thinking Sam was simply talking about a club that hung out in tree houses or something. "With trainers, hopefully older than you are." He added, probably not making Sam feel very over-estimated right now. "And you plan on disbanding Team Death?" He was amused, very amused. That was a challenge he didn't even think was possible. He hated taking sides on things too, especially when he had his own job to consider.

Sam was adamant about the academy and felt a bit insulted when Seamus played it off like the group was just his little play toy. "You don't even know. The organization is controlled by some high people, if you ever moved up you would find out yourself." He said, before holding back as he felt he was giving away too much of the secrets of the Academy to Seamus. Sure, the trainer was strong and a good ally if he could get him on the good side, but he was not trustworthy yet to divulge all the secrets that came with such a new and dangerous group. "We are training people of the future and will definitely get enough to take down Team Death. I can guarantee that!" He said, still angry at the so-called Shamu for beating him and also at Jay for stealing his rare pokemon. Sam was so caught up in his own talk that he didn't even realize that both of his pokemon had sustained some attacks and that his Magmortar had fallen after the scorching water and was unable to continue. "You should consider it... We have a base slightly outside of Cheyenne, you should check it out. It is new but incredible! My parents even funded the project." He smiled before looking in the battle field to see that he was now in a disadvantage as his Shelgon was paralyzed and his Magmortar had fainted. Sam decided it was time to even the playing field and soon he threw another pokemon onto the field. From it a fluff of pink and fur came out as Pearl hit the field and quickly winked at her two opponents. >Hey loves, missed me?!< She said before blowing a kiss at her opponents. "No time for joking!" Sam yelled when he saw her slacking off and immediately he tried to change it back to his field as he attempted to take the advantage now. "Echoed Voice on the Magnemite. Thunderwave on the Kabuto!" He quickly yelled and she immediately followed through, albeit not happily. Toothless was also very upset at being paralyzed by the foes and she angrily created a large spiraling orb before sending it at Neon in hopes of eliminating the Magnemite for doing damage to her and also paralyzing her. Luckily for her, she still had a lot of fight left, although the paralysis would be unfortunate...

Hm. Seamus had a lot of reasons to doubt Sam's maturity, especially when the teen seemed so convincing and positive. There was a lot of work and responsibility involved, and from the way Sam was describing it, it seemed like nothing more than a rich kid's dream being fulfilled by mommy and daddy. He was not going to reveal his thoughts to Sam though, even if his smile remained unconvinced by whatever the lad said. He had a real job to work on, research as part of a laboratory. It wasn't easy being a field scientist sometimes, then the random side jobs he picked up on to obtain additional funds. Some were definitely unpleasant, such as catching rogue Kabuto such as Rust.
"I'll consider it." He decided, not believing that this 'idea' was well thought out at all. TD was more organized at the moment, and he had considered joining until he decided that they were all too young and weird for him. He didn't directly oppose anyone, but simply did his own thing. It was how he lived; preferring to stay neutral, even if it ended up pissing everyone off. For now though, Neon had fainted on the field from the combined efforts of the two Pokemon currently standing. What was the one out on the field? A Flaaffy? Not bad.
"Neon, you did well." He returned her with a thankful smile for her efforts, noticing that the Shelgon's paralysis would be helpful. Now he needed a Pokemon that was capable of showing Sam that his rough easy start was about to change. It would change hard, alright. The next Pokemon he had had evolved not long after obtaining the Twisted Badge, and had been his first experiment with a shiny stone. With a grin, he released his other fossil onto the field; Bastiodon!
<Hmth.> The blue Bastiodon let out a grunt as he was sent out, looking extremely heavy and difficult looking compared to the small Kabuto. Rust looked at Acetate in annoyance, not liking how cool he looked. <Don't let the facade fool you, he's a crybaby.> The Kabuto huffed in explanation, more than glad to show the adorable Flaaffy and the paralyzed Shelgon if they asked. Hell, Rust considered Acetate his rival simply because he evolved so early. "Mud Shot on the Flaaffy." Seamus demanded, but knew that the Flaaffy would definitely be a threat. Already, before Rust could attack he was hit by that crippling Thunder Wave. Somehow he was able to attack this time, but the paralysis was catching up. He fired off a Mud Shot at the Flaaffy, knowing that he wouldn't be able to attack next turn.
Time to consider doing something to that Shelgon, eh? He wasn't going to spring the Blizzard on them. Yet. It was going to happen later though, for sure. "Taunt the Flaaffy, then Anicentpower on Shelgon." He didn't want to see Acetate get paralyzed, so it was for the best. The Bastiodon slowly turned around, rear end facing the lamb as he wiggled it tauntingly at her with his tail wagging like a dog. Ha! That'll show her. Head turning as he made a glare towards the dragon, he stomped his foot down on the ground, making rocks emerge from them with a glowing aura as they launched themselves after Toothless.

Pearl probably wasn't the best pokemon to use and Sam quickly began to regret it when the blob of mud came and stuck to her feet, causing her to fall hard on the ground and also reduce her speed a bit as she looked on anxiously while the Bastiodon began to taunt her and anger her a bit. >You will pay for that! You will!< She yelled angrily before charging up a bit of electricity and sending a weak volt of electricity at Acetate in hopes of damaging him because he angered her. The pile of rocks then came and struck hard onto Toothless who quickly fell to the ground and started to close her eyes a bit because she was in great pain. Not exactly from the attacks as she could sustain a lot more than what had come her way, but instead because she was feeling the paralysis sink into her body which prevented her from moving. "You should really think about it. We have a lot of cool ideas that we are going to incorporate!" Sam said. He was too focused on getting Seamus to join that he completely ignored his pokemon and their suffering. Not smart... It also took Sam some time but he quickly realized Acetate was the same pokemon he had seen before in a previous battle. "Hey! It seems your Shieldon evolved!" He said, very elated to see the pokemon in action. And it seemed it also became rarer...

Rust got on his claws as he had his shell exposed upwards as he buckled over from the paralysis, wincing as he felt his joints get stiff. The Kabuto felt like a shriveled up raisin in the sun, about as useless as the smallest of them that could hardly provide any nutritional value. He'd be back to power soon though, realizing that he wasn't being attacked this turn. He wished he could see what was going on though, hiding under his shell which meant blocking his vision for a temporary amount of time. He'd get up in a bit...but for now, rest. He'd break free from this prison of a body soon.
<I-I will?> The Bastiodon felt the first pang of worry as he turned to face the mud covered Flaaffy, cringing at the sight of her rage. Nothing was scarier, in the end, than dealing with a woman that was PMSing. He shook his head as if he was trying to avoid being scared; he was big now! Big and strong! She was charging up that attack though and his eyes widened as she fired it at him, making him yelp from the sharp sting. It was like a Beedrill stinging him, sharp and swift.
Seamus had an idea of what to try for the next turn, but he needed Acetate to provide some support for Rust. "Metal Sound on Flaaffy, then Body Slam Shelgon." He wasn't very familiar with the names of Sam's Pokemon, and neither was Acetate. The Bastiodon felt the pressure of being the only attacking Pokemon on his team this turn, firing off metallic rings that exaggerated the sound of the special defense lowering attack at the electric sheep. If it worked, her defenses would be sharply lowered. Then he barreled towards Toothless with a determined look, lifting his entire front side up as he prepared to slam all of his weight down on the dragon.
"I'll look at it when I have the chance." Seamus insisted, not willing to be conned into joining anything right away. Sam was starting to annoy him with his persistence, earning him a small glare to back up on the soliciting. "Ah, yes. It was this month too." He chuckled, fairly proud of having Acetate as a team member now. He enjoyed the Bastiodon's form, rarity, and careful personality. He was definitely one of the more sane and reasonable Pokemon he owned.

Sam did not catch the annoyance that exuded from Seamus at all and he happily clapped his hands when the trainer said he would think about it. "Great! We can totally use someone of your magnitude!" He said happily as he saw the unfortunate term of events occur right in front of his two pokemon. Pearl was suddenly struck hard with a deafening blow that lowered her special defenses and Toothless was struck very hard with the incoming body slam that made her body rumble in itself. This worried Sam greatly as he saw the battle was totally getting out of hand but he had a plan up his sleeve too and fortunately for him, Toothless was able to attack this turn which helped greatly. "Hydro Pump on the Bastiodon!" Sam yelled, he knew the attack would be super effective and he needed every boost he could possibly get going against such a monstrous pokemon like that. Also fortunately for him, the wise glasses activated and powered up the attack, making it even more pressurized as it made it's way toward the large fossilized pokemon. Pearl on the other hand was still ringing hard when she quickly saw that Rust did not attack and pointed at the Kabuto for Sam to take advantage of the situation. "Alright, great work! Thundershock." He smiled. He knew it would be super effective so he was happy to oblige with his pokemon's wishes. And suddenly she generated enough of an electric current to send a shock of electricity at the Kabuto, hoping to do a decent amount of damage to the Kabuto.

Seamus didn't like how Sam was so excited about this, especially because he mostly agreed to be nice. Shaking his head at Sam's ignorance, he figured that this would simply pass over. He wouldn't have to do it anyways, especially if it had no value to him. Sam would simply have to get over it unless his little 'organization' could pay him more than his current job did. That would probably be the only reason he would even consider such a thing, thinking that with a disappointed sigh.
He had to worry for Acetate and Rust though; taking super effective hits already while Sam still had one Pokemon left in his reserves. The Thundershock was the weakest of the two, Rust taking it somewhat well though he looked very bitter about it. The Kabuto hissed as he scuttled across the ground to make a lunge towards the Flaaffy with golden claws attempting to rake her face. It would've looked like a scratch at first, however it had quite a bit more force than usual. The Rock Smash would've been an unpleasant surprise, even if it wasn't one of the strongest attacks out there.
Acetate was completely blasted by the Hydro Pump, taking it and not moving an inch as he winced and shivered from the cold. His giant shield like head was able to block the hit from his body, but that didn't change the fact that it was super effective against him. Shivering from the temperature change, he groaned as he stared wearily at the water user. Such a pain to have to deal with! "Blizzard." It was time to spring it on them, especially when Toothless wasn't in the best of health.
The Bastiodon inhaled a great deal of air before blasting it back out at extremely low temperatures at both of his foes. Rust even had to wince as he hid behind the Flaaffy after making his attempt at an attack, not wanting to get caught up in all of this. It had the chance of hitting both foes, however the main Pokemon Seamus wanted to hit was definitely the Shelgon.

Crud! The one attack that Sam really wasn't ready for and ready dreaded quickly came and he did not have any idea what to do at all. He did not know that the Bastiodon knew Blizzard as it had never used it in their previous battle, so he was completely caught off guard and started to think of what he would possibly do now after the move. He calculated it and simply could not see Toothless surviving it. And in his ignorance, he missed the fact that Pearl had a few ribs cracked after a thunderous rock smash, and she too faced the problem of the Blizzard also... Sam was less worried about Pearl than Toothless though as she did not take a lot of damage yet, and she also wasn't weak against the ice move. But she also wasn't as strong as Toothless and he'd instantly lose his advantage if she fell. Luckily for him, the Shelgon was alert enough, even with the decrease in speed, to dodge the Blizzard as it wasn't the most accurate move, and the dodge also seemed to boost her morale as she ignored the paralysis and was ready to attack all over again. Pearl though wasn't as lucky as she sustained the rock smash and fell right into the bulk of the Blizzard. It sent her flying back and soon she crashed hard onto the ground, getting up slowly as she held her stomach. Both of Sam's pokemon were now with the same amount of health it seemed, which wasn't good but also wasn't the worst thing ever. He had one more chance and he had to make full advantage of it. "Alright Toothless, Dragon Pulse!" He yelled but suddenly his Shelgon began to focus all her hatred and anger into her head before aiming at the Bastiodon. The problem was that her paralysis eventually started to creep up and she immediately had to change her target to the closest one... The Kabuto. "Pearl, Thundershock also!" He yelled after. She was still a bit riled up which worried him, but the taunt seemed to have calmed a bit which was a good sign. After her attack, her wounds seemed more prevalent which made Sam realize that his two weren't around the same health, Pearl was much more hurt. "Wow this battle is getting really intense." Sam said, hoping that his opponent felt the same way. He just hoped it'd turn his way, he had the 3 vs 2 advantage but two of his pokemon were much weaker than he'd like.

Seamus wasn't sure what to think of the battle now that he saw how weak both of Sam's Pokemon were, then there was the Pokemon Sam still had in reserve. Hm, it was only making him uneasy. It could be any Pokmeon Sam wanted to use on his party, and it was the surprise that it was making him anxious. He felt a bit bad seeing the Flaaffy get so challenged in the match, able to tell that the attacks were building up against her steadily. Now probably would've been the time to consider giving Acetate some kind of ground type move to his attack list, but that probably wasn't going to happen for a while.
Acetate flinched when he saw Toothless's rage-filled face and instantly started to back off, not liking that she was taking his Blizzard so seriously. What was her problem, it hadn't even hit her. Nervous at both of these angry ladies, the Bastiodon watched awkwardly as Rust was ganged up on by the two attacked. The Zen Headbutt sent the Kabuto into the air while he was Thundershocked, making him hiss and let out a pained yelp as he landed on the ground. <You smell grilled.> The Bastiodon commented with worry, not meant to be an insult as Rust instantly popped back up and glared at Acetate for giving him something as shameful as pity. How discustible.
"Leer and Rock Smash, go for the Flaaffy." Seamus advised, thinking that maybe they could get the electric type with some lowered stats. The Kabuto sent out a devious leer at both battlers, as if he was out for their souls, then scuttled back towards the Flaaffy once more for a Rock Smash at her gut. <Such a big target, fat sheep.> He growled, trying to pick a fight with her as he aimed his strike.
"Mess with them a bit. Swagger on the Flaaffy, then go for a Body Slam on the Shelgon." He looked at the weakening Pokemon again, knowing that this was probably one of the last things Sam wanted to see right now. The Bastiodon huffed as he stomped around in front of the Flaaffy, a bit worried about her reaction, but he was strutting as if he was the king of the place. His smile seemed to mock her, as if he was somehow better than her. Oooh, that swagger was annoying! He then charged after the Shelgon once more for a Body Slam, planning on weakening her further just as his trainer commanded.

>Grr! You annoying piece of-< Pearl stopped as her head began to really spin after feeling the swagger of the Bastiodon which made her even more angry than she already was. But it also luckily boosted her power up a good amount which helped greatly in this specific circumstance. The added boost gave her a huge adrenaline rush which made the rock smash hit but not hurt at all. Sure she was swollen on the sides and she was toward her limit and would most likely faint on the next attack, but before that she could do at least one more thing. Pearl looked over at her trainer for some reassurance, hoping Sam had a plan and luckily he did have one up his sleeve. "Thundershock on the Kabuto, Thunder Wave on the Bastiodon!" Sam said. He was beyond lucky that Pearl was able to follow through with both attacks, it was probably because she had been so used to being light headed that she was able to get the order and not hurt herself in turn. That was a good sign! Toothless on the other hand saw the Bastiodon go after her body first and she quickly found herself unable to do anything since the paralysis hit her hard and prevented her from moving. She was only able to stick her head out and take the attack, which did not hurt as much because her hard head lessened the damage and kept her strong and healthy. >You will pay!< She said in a threatening fashion, but the words were lost because she was unable to move her body. This entire ordeal worried Sam, he was definitely getting close to having to use his final pokemon now. And he was definitely losing his advantage.

So the Flaaffy was finally confused? Seamus squeezed his hands together as if he was trying to force the anxiety out of them at the sight of the battle. She looked incredibly weak, and he wasn't even sure if she was worth attacking if she was confused. Was it worth it? Or wasn't it? He didn't know, but the moment Acetate was paralyzed he inwardly groaned. Sure there was a 1/4 chance that each Pokemon would not be able to attack, however the unpredictability was annoying. How was he to know the reliability of his own Pokemon now? They were both slowed down, same as Toothless, but the Flaaffy was faster and more dangerous.
Rust was thundershocked again, and he looked so weak that he probably wouldn't be able to take another Thundershock. Was it worth using an Absorb? Probably not, but it wouldn't hurt trying. "Absorb on the Shelgon." It would be something; even a little health would possibly benefit the Kabuto depending on Sam's last Pokemon. Rust sprang after the Shelgon as if he was a flea, hungry fangs opening slightly as he tried to latch onto the Shelgon's back with his claws to try and swipe a meal.
The Shelgon was paralyzed anyways at least, so maybe Rust would have an easier time making his move. It was the Bastiodon that he was worried about though; he liked being able to use protect whenever it was needed. It simply didn't seem reliable now. "You'll have to use Blizzard again." It was the best way to force out Sam's Pokemon, even if Sam didn't like the option himself. Seamus had to see what the third one was.
<S-So cold...it's gonna get worse.> The Bastiodon complained a little as he opened his jaws, firing off another cold jet of air after the two Pokemon. Sure it wasn't the most accurate, but because it could hit two Pokemon at once the accuracy didn't seem to matter as much.

Sam was not too happy when the blizzard came again as he knew there was absolutely no way his two pokemon could survive the attack and he was completely right when he saw the ice clear and both of his pokemon on the floor. "You truly are magnificent." He sighed, praising Seamus for taking out his best pokemon, but Sam had one more left and this one would be in full health against the black jacket trainer. "Good thing your pokemon do not look very good either..." He sighed as he threw out his last pokeball and from it his Snorlax popped out, ready to get his hands dirty in this battle. >Woah! What happened here?< Tiberius asked when he saw the field was covered in ice and his opponents were incredibly tired. "Superpower the Bastiodon!" Sam said and quickly his Snorlax began to generate as much power as he could before sending a powerful and thrusting attack at the Bastiodon. This attack, if it hits, would definitely give Sam the advantage again! "Lets finish this." Sam sighed, hoping that it'd turn out for the best.
