So they were going to try this again, especially after their attempt at Syl's house failed completely. He never wanted to talk about it again, really. Too many clingy males were trying to leech onto him at that time, and it was slightly traumatic. His boss was just joking...right? Right? Shuddering at the unpleasant memory, he glanced at his watch as he waited for his opponent to appear. He had some PC Pokemon he thought would be fun to give a try, so he decided to have a little experiment with this one.
He had the Drifloon he won from the Karaoke Contest hovering mindlessly around the battlefield, as if she had no purpose whatsoever. He hadn't even thought of a name for her yet, not knowing how to interact with such a closed off Pokemon. Another Pokemon that was with him was Faima, which he bought off of a trainer that had simply given up and was going to pound her. Such a waste, he thought the bird was simply adorable.
Faima was calm as she perched herself on Susumu's shoulder, looking at the Drifloon with a pitying gaze. Such an anxious soul with no purpose must've been a hard thing to be. <Stop pacing, you're making me nervous.> Faima asked with a concerned look at the Drifloon, but the Pokemon wouldn't listen.

Noah arrived at the meeting place he and that Sususmu guy agreed on. After that accident in that weirdo's house, he wasn't really in the mood to battle anyone, but he got over it pretty quickly and decided it was time to challenge the guy again. He was hoping he won't get burned or bitten again. That vicious Snubbull's teeth mark left a pretty nasty scar on his left ankle, not mentioning the burn marks.
"Yo. Are you ready?" He quickly realized his question was meaningless. His opponent's pokemon were already sent out. One of them was a Drifloon - a shiny one no less - and a parrot. What were they called again? Chipper? Shitot? No, it was Chatot. A dual ghost and flying type and a simple flying type. He had some ideas for pokemon he could use. He had a companion in dire need of experience.
"Go, Trafalgar." Nathan detached a shiny, white sphere - a premier ball -, releasing a short, yellow lizard with a bright, yellow flash of light. The derpy creature pulled his baggy pants up, but when he let go of them, they fall down to his knees again.
While the Scraggy was busy with his pants, his trainer released another pokemon. This time it was a skull, wrapped in black robes, its single, red eye freely dartin from one eyesocket to the other. <Finally, i'm out of that ball. It was starting to get boring in tjere.> The Duskull glanced at the pokemon standing beside him, surprised by the pokemon. He didn't know Noah got a new pokemon. Well, the introductions will have to wait until the battle.

Glancing up as the familiar face wandered in, Susumu nodded at the guy's immediate question. "Yep, just as we talked about." It would be a simple double battle, hopefully with just these two Pokemon out per trainer. It would take too long if they used anymore, even if the levels would've been helpful. Oh well, depended on how well it went. If Noah wanted to use more Pokemon, he'd try his best to find Pokemon of matching levels. If not, then fuck it, he'd use his normal team. As Noah sent out his Pokemon; a ghost and a fighting type, he looked at them and grinned a little. That wasn't too intimidating, hopefully they'd be able to pull this off.
Not that it mattered to him too much, he didn't care if he won or lost. Every experience was beneficial as long as he tried, so with that in mind, he went and started with the first attacks. "Faima, go and use Peck on the Duskull." To be honest, the Duskull looked like it was more of a threat, so he wanted to get damage on it right away. As the Chatot nodded and flew off of his shoulder, she took the charge in the match beak first towards the ghost. "Drifloon, use Minimize then Constrict on the Scraggy." Hopefully that would keep the fighting type preoccupied movement wise.
The shiny Drifloon shyly looked at the Duskull, finding him somewhat attractive before she focused on herself. Now wasn't the time to admire others. She sighed as she retracted her body, shrinking in size as her evasion increased. She didn't want to worry about getting hit, after all. Now that would be such a shame. She loomed closer to the fighting type with arms outstretched, reaching out to him with an ominous look in her eyes.

Noah found a chair at the corner of the room and sat down on it, observing the battle from there. "Okay, guys. Don't slack off now. Our opponent's strong." He was worried about Trafalgar and started to regret sending him out. His opponents were both flying types so if they combined they attacks, the Scraggy will be in deep shit. First, they should focus on the Drifloon since it's the stronger one. The Chatot can wait.
The boy's pokemon were thinking the same as their trainer and decided to attack the Drifloon, but before they could attack, their opponents moves reached them. Requiem was hit by the bird's peck; its beak tore into his ghostly body, making a hole in his robe. The Duskull shrugged as his black body regenerated, the hole disappearing. He gave the Chatot a menacing glare, his eye filled with malice and hatred. His eye fixated itself on the other pokemon then, the round, purple spirit. He started to gather dark energy between his hands and hurled it towards the spectre.
Trafalgar was having a little harder time dealing with the Drifloon. After it shrank, the balloon snuck behind him and wrapped its strings around him. While he tried to struggle free, he shot a leer, much like Requiem's, at the ghost type, trying to lower its defense. Then, he started to fade away, disapearing from sight. He reappeared behind the floony pokemon and attempted to strike it from behind.

The Drifloon found herself overwhelmed at the leer, shrinking backwards from the Scraggy after her constrict as she heard the sounds of an attack approaching. With a gulp she moved out of the way, arms close to where her heart should've been as she anxiously stared at the Duskull in frustration. How sneaky of him! Then when she least expected it, the Scraggy came in and smacked her hard with a super effective faint attack. She hardly thought she'd be attacked twice, but it figured. They were all out to get her, weren't they? Faima herself only had to deal with a leer, but the Chatot had it easy this turn.
"Charge Beam on the Scraggy, then Growl." He wanted Faima to at least give Driloon some cover when it came to those physical strikes. Faima coughed, wings moving as if she was conducting an orchestra as she demanded attention with her musical growl. Drifloon ignored the bird as she fired off a Charge Beam at the Scraggy, not gaining any special attack this time around. Maybe next time she'd be a little more lucky.
"Faima, Night Shade the Duskull." Shame it wouldn't be super effective, but oh well. It would only be good it they attacked the Chatot with one of those dark type moves so she could use it against them. Seeing that it wasn't likely to get a good hit off with Mirror Move, this was their next best bet. The Chatot's eyes changed colors as she fired off a neutral damage move that worked based on levels, not on types or weaknesses.

Trafalgar covered his ears as soon as he saw the Chatot open its beak. He didn't know what it was going to do, talk or attack, but it was best not to risk anything. While he was watching the bird, he suddenly heard something crackling behind him. When he turned towards the source of the noise, he was hit by a strong, electrical beam. He was sent skidding on the floor, brusing his elbows. Damn, that stung.
Requiem wasn't as cautious as his partner. He couldn't help, but listen to the Chatot's singing growl. He found its voice pretty good and would've liked to hear more. Unfortunately, the song ended quickly and before he could snap out of his daze, he was hit by a balck beam. He scowled angrily, another hole in his body. Unlike before, it didn't heal this time. <Damn it. Looks like I can't ignore you.>
"Disable that Chatot's annoying growl, Req. Then, use another Dark Pulse on the Drifloon." Noah leaned back on the comfy chair, pretty relaxed even though the hard battle. His Duskull shook his head in disbelief. When he truned back to the parrot, his eye shot a small, spark towards the bird. He formd a small ball in front of him, made of compressed vile intentions and threw it in the balloon's direction. The sphere was pulsating rapidly and erupted in front of the ghost type, sending a black wave through the room.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Trafalgar. Faint Attack." The Scraggy nodded, flexing his muscles. He disappeared from sight again, slowly sneaking up on the Drifloon again. This atack was sure to hit, unless the ghost had a move like protect or detect. Hopefully, it doesn't.

So the plan was to spam super effective moves on his poor shiny Drifloon, huh? Susumu mused about that one for a bit, realizing how quickly it would end the battle. Hopefully she'd be ok for a few more turns, wanting to give her the full experience of a battle instead of being knocked out right away. He'd have to retaliate hard back at Noah, grinning a little as he looked right at the Scraggy while thinking it. Drifloon had no way to dodge the Faint Attack, and the Dark Pulse only helped to gang up on her as she cried out in pain, falling to the ground as she weakly pushed herself back up. She'd be fine, right? She rubbed her head as she held in her tears, trying to fight the urge to cry as she stared at her opponents with wounded eyes.
<Take it easy on the ghost there, I'm your foe too.> The Chatot mused, before having her beak messed with from a Disable that made it so she couldn't sing. Gasping in surprise as she covered her beak, she instantly started to fret and pace back and forth in worry. Oh no, this better not be permanent! This was bad, she didn't like that she was unable to sing when she wanted to now! The Chatot started to panic as Susumu sighed at his Pokemon, realizing that they needed a lot of work if they ever wanted to be good at battling.
"Gust and Peck on the Scraggy! Go get him!" He ordered with a semi-confident smile, not taking the battle too much to heart, as it wasn't his main team he was training. No, this was only for fun. The Drifloon blew out a strong gust attack at the fighting type while the Chatot bravely flew through it, using it to propel her further as she prepared a nasty strike for the Scraggy's noggin.

Well, looks like he finally did it. Noah expected it to happen much sooner, but now that the pokemons combined their attacks against his poor Scraggy, Noah had to get serious too. Losing like this would suck and he'd feel pathetic. He stood up from his chair, shoving his hands in his pockets. He approached the battleground, careful not to get too close so he won't get caught up in the fight. "Trafalgar! Don't worry about those attacks! You can survive it! Just attack without thinking!" Well, maybe that wasn't such a good idea, but who cares?
The yellow lizard thought his trainer gone mad at first. How can he not worry about two super-effective moves coming straight towards him? That's stupid and reckless! He realized that he wouldn't be able to odge it anyway so might as well do as his trainer said. He charged head first into the attacks, leering at the Chatot in front of him angrily. He planted his feeet into the ground and took the combined attacks of the opponents without getting blown back. While the bird was still close to him, he jumped behind the pokemon and tried to punch it as hard as he could.
Requiem cringed, turning away from the painful sight. he had to admit, the Scraggy had some guts and he respected him for it. though, he was a little too brave. He didn't wait for his trainer command, instead he shot a black beam towards the Drifloon, knowing he had to refrain using dark pulse too much. He doesn't want to get repetitive. The foe might figure him out.

That was it for the poor Drifloon; all of those super effective attacks had done her in completely as the Night Shade did enough to finish her off. Her body expanded as it released itself from the Minimize's effects as she gently fell to the floor. She looked rather sad about the loss, so Susumu did feel bad for her. Still, a loss wasn't something to be too embarrassed about. He was used to it, even though his Pokémon weren't. He returned the Drifloon, knowing that she did a good job anyways despite going down so easily. Now it was just Faima versus two Pokemon, and he figured that he could at least take down the Scraggy with a couple of Pecks.
"Alright, that's how it is. Faima, be careful and attack again with Peck!" He didn't really have that many options, not thinking that it would be a good idea to go for the Night Shade just yet. Mirror Move would've simply been ineffective against the Scraggy, so that wasn't an option either. The Chatot seemed disheartened at the loss of her partner, but she kept a positive attitude overall as she flew into the air with colorful wings keeping her afloat.
She was ready to beat someone up, especially since she couldn't even sing now! With a glare at the fighting type she started to tuck her wings together; a sign that she was preparing to fall and strike. She picked up speed as she fell, beak pointed right at the Scraggy as if she was a dart being launched at the target.

Noah cracked a grin, feeling relieved after the drifloon fainted. It was annoying how it exploded right into his Duskull's face, but he was sure the ghost survived it. He turned away from the battle and headed back to his chair. He sat down again, making himself comfortable. "Trafalgar, Sand-Attack and Low Kick." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, thinking about the attacks Requiem should use. There wasn't any need ti make him use his strongest attacks. Let's keep them for later. "Requiem, Leer and Night Shade."
Trafalgar followed the Chatot with his eyes, as it rose into the sky. When it turned around, ready to strike him, he spread his arms out, glaring at the bird. <Come at me bro.> The Chtot's ahrd beak slammed into his chest, knocking the wind out of the Pokémon. The lizard rubbed his sore chest, giving the parrot a menacing look. He grabbed some dirt from the ground and hurled it towards ity eyes, trying to blind him with it. He rushed forward without thinking, not giving a damn if the sand-attack worked or not. He jumped up into the air and tried to kick the opponent on the chest.
Requiem let out a yawn. Now that the Drifloon fainted, there really wasn't any reason to battle seriously. Due to his twisted personality though, he decided it was time to torture the Pokémon. He shot a black, electricity like beam forward, targetting Faima's back, while it was distracted by the Scraggy.

Faima was at least able to endure most of the attacks this time around, that being one attack. The Night Shade was completely useless against the Chatot as it simply passed right through her, making her chuckle in amusement as it tickled her feathers. She fluttered around the battle with her keen eyes, not expecting the Scraggy's sudden burst of sand. However, even that hardly affected her eyesight due to her ability Keen Eye, before getting a kick in the face. She was small luckily so it didn't hurt as much as it could've, but she was tiring already.
"Not bad, Mirror Move that shit." Susumu laughed, finding the mental image of a bird kicking somewhat hilarious. The Chatot shook her head as she spread her wings as far as she could, forming a mirror as she recalled the attack that the Scraggy used on her. Right after that, the reflection of the Scraggy burst out of it, using its own Low Kick on Noah's Scraggy before dissolving into thin air.
<Hyaaaah!> The bird cried with some sound effects, realizing that the Disable was slowly wearing off. It wouldn't be long before the disable would be gone completely, allowing her access to Growl once more. The mirror move should have been super effective though, since Scraggy was part dark.

Trafalgar's eyes widened in pure shock and surprisement, as his own self rushed towards him, slamming its sole in his stomach. He doubled over, falling face first on the ground. That was his limit, he couldn't go on any further. Even though he didn't lose his consciousness, the Scraggy couldn't move and was unable to fight. He tried standing up a few times, but his limbs wouldn't even twitch. Damn it.
Noah burst into laughter at the sight of his fighting type getting kicked in the stomach by his own self. He didn't mind Trafalgar getting defeated, requiem can handle that Chatot. That mirror move's pretty annoying though. Well, no risk no fun, right? "Requiem, Leer and Dark Pulse. Be fast."
The Duskull nodded, ignoring his motionless partner for the moment and shot the most menacing glare at the Chatot he could muster. While leering at the bird, an evil aura enveloped his body and a dark beam burst out of his body

It was hard to say which Pokemon was going to win the battle now, especially now that it was reduced to a one versus one. Faima was tiring, but after that Dark Pulse she definitely looked as if she was in the yellow. Susumu took out his Pokedex to get a general idea of where each Pokemon stood and sighed, debating using another Mirror Move. Well, it would be super effective. Noah should've learned from last time not to use super effective moves against his own Pokemon. Maybe because the attacks mirror move formed were different, it wouldn't be so bad repeating it a bit.
That was a maybe he was going to test out, seeing that the opportunity was at its ripest. "Dark Pulse it, Faima!" He ordered, keeping an eye out for how much damage she could actually take. The Chatot was finally free from the Disable, letting out a chirp of delight as she flew around the Duskull with slightly vengeful eyes. She didn't want to lose this, or else she'd probably be depressed for days!
<Mirror mirror on the wall!> She teased, repeating the movements from last time as a mirror formed within her wings. The reflection of the Duskull appeared in the mirror, breaking through it as it approached its shiny counterpart and fired off a Dark Pulse of its own. Right after that, both the reflection and mirror faded, leaving the Chatot flying around with an observant gaze.

Requiem watched in awe as a shiny Duskull crept out of a mirror. It looked exactly like him with the skull mask, the single eye and the red, ghostly body too. It even had the same attacks. Requiem found this out thre hard way when the mirror-Duskull blasted him with its own dark pulse.
Noah sweared; that mirror move was so troublesome. Well, he already had an idea how to guarantee his victory. "Requiem! Use Destiny Bond and Dark Pulse!" The destiny bond made sure if the Duskull faints, he'll take the Chatot with itself too and, since its night shade didn't work, dark pulse weakened it even further.
The ghost type nodded, trying to form a link between himself and his opponent. An invisible aura enveloped him and started to creep towards Faima. He launched a dark ball at the bird too, which emitted a black, twisting energy.

Ah, Susumu was almost sure that the shiny Duskull would've taken more damage from that last hit. Still, not bad for a Pokemon he never used before. He glanced at the Chatot with an observant gaze, not thinking her of a bad Pokemon to use at all. Shame that her old trainer gave her up so easily, but sometimes things were just like that. Maybe someone else would want her after he trained her up a bit; it certainly wouldn't hurt, especially when she was born with a nifty egg move. Speaking of that egg move, it seemed like a good idea to try using it again.
Faima squawked in alarm when she felt an ominous link that bound her together with the Duskull, making her feel as if something bad was about to happen. Well yeah, she was hit by a Dark Pulse and was starting to feel weak from it, but something worse was coming. She simply couldn't figure out what it was exactly. Shaking her head as she ruffled up her feathers, feeling both frustrated and very very poofy, she glared at the Duskull for doing that to her.
"Night Shade!" The battle wouldn't last too long now, especially if the Duskull had been taking super effective hits like that. Night Shade disregarded stats as it focused mainly on the level of the user, using it against the Duskull in an attempt to bring him down after all of the crap he went through. If he hung in there somehow after Aftermath's gross effects, then she definitely had something to look out for.

Requiem was panting heavily, knowing that he won't hold out much longer. Getting hit by the dark pulse and surviving it was already a miracle, but who knows how long he'll last. At least if the Chatot knock him out, due to his destiny bond, it'll faint too. Knowing that, the Duskull smiled, reay to take the bird's attack.
The black beam enveloped him in a dark aura for a while, terrible mirages flooding his mind. The ghost type shouted in agony, pleading for the nightmare to stop and just finish him already. His wish was granted and the attack dissipated. He ,uttered a silent thank you and plummeted into the ground, unconscious.
Noah stood up from his chair, walking towards his fallen Pokémon. He stopped in front of them, giving them an apogoletic look. He took out their balls - a premier ball and a normal pokeball - and recalled them. He attached the balls to his belt, hiding them with his t-shirt. He turned to Susumu, his hand extended in front of himself. "I guess it's a draw, huh?"

Seeing the Duskull faint came as a relief to both Faima and Susumu, making him think that they had won the battle. With a grin, he took out her Pokeball, prepared to return her when suddenly she simply dropped to the ground. Wait. What? He looked at her oddly, thinking she was doing some kind of messed up joke, but she actually fainted on the spot. What did that mean? "Wait...that's a Destiny Bond?" He asked, never really seeing the Duskull use it in the first place. Then again, it wasn't as if he was looking for any signs of using it either. What a weird attack!
"Ah, never saw it used before. Not bad." He chuckled, accepting it as a draw as he returned the Chatot into her Pokeball finally after accepting that he didn't win. Not a bad battle though, especially for the two Pokemon he decided to use. Drifloon and Faima were gradually getting stronger, and he wondered if maybe he could give them to some trainer to bribe them into TD sometime.
Well, it wouldn't be the worst idea he ever had. "Thanks for the match, later." He nodded at Noah, musing on what to do next as he made plans for venturing through Foret Magique. Nothing to do here, at least!
