{ARTHUR INGLIS ELAVIAN}
Full Name: Arthur Inglis Elavian
Gender: Male
Age: Seventeen. April 21st
Appearance: Upon first glance, he seems like a normal person, but his appearance is easily his most lacking feature probably. Although his eyes always look serious and they are blue in color. Looking further down his face, if you get past the mass of black hair atop his head giving his distinctive features a rather impeccable glow. Although, his serious look was unmatched by his sheer wit, but he always wore a white button-up shirt. Usually having a black overcoat with what looks like a school emblem embroidered on his jacket. Wearing a rather formal outfit almost at all times considering his dress pants were black in color and seemed to wear black sneakers upon his feet.
It sure was different apparel, but he didn't care what anyone else thought of him.
A raptor-like gaze can usually be seen upon his high cheebones, giving his thin lips more of a pronounced edge to them as if he was constantly glaring at you. Although, even when he smiles that can be seen as slightly dangerous considering he does love to fight on his own, but more about that later. Normally during the winter though, he can be seen wearing a heavier coat with fur lining on the edges of it, but normally not ones that are made from Pokémon fur (if that's even possible), but just wool or something like that.
Background: Arthur was a slightly spoiled child, but he was one of the few that didn't like it when he was younger. Normally everyone wasn't on good terms with him, but he did like picking a lot of fights when he was a kid around at least three. No one could really bully him either, since he had a rather careless, and reckless attitude towards those that thought they were ten times better than him. So, back to when he was three years old and just starting to actually be able to form coherent sentences since he was read stories when he was little. Yes, contrary to popular belief, reading your kid stories every night at bedtime will enhance their abilities later on in life for what they like to do. Mainly reading, but Arthur eventually grew out of that phase for storytelling by the time he was four years old. Around this time was when he was being introduced to the world of Pokémon since he would always play outside whenever he could.
The best times he had were when he was alone, but don't let his cool demeanour fool you, at least when he was little. Still having friends that hung out with him without getting into fights was rather nice, and he wanted to avoid any further conflict after a certain bully tried taking him down a notch. Arthur was not to be taken lightly and the more he got beat up the more he actually enjoyed the fight. Of course, he normally only did retaliate when he knew he had a chance of winning and will never be the first one to make a move unless he has a reason to. This patience comes from his father and playing baseball with him in the back yard every so often. One day, he wanted to be a trainer, after hearing all about the legendary battles that take place at the elite four's place. Now we are fast forwarding to when he's eight, because this is when something almost traumatizing happened. No one could predict this future at all for a little pidgey that happened to visit his yard since he was little.
Yes, this little bird was still a young hatchling, and one of Arthur's best friends considering he treats Pokémon more or less like human beings than humans themselves. Anyone who mistreats pokemons is an instant enemy of his and will be properly put into their place. The main saying he likes to use whenever he's about to fight someone is, "I'll bite you to death," and that usually makes them back off a little. Of course, he doesn't just follow up with words if you annoy him, but back to the history. Now, said pidgey was a friend of his and one day never returned. This seemed to upset him, and one day he vowed to search for his lost friend. Of course, he figured that the pidgey would have evolved into it's final form by the time he turned seventeen. This was when he decided to start out on his adventure since he had raised enough money to go out and see the world. A new journey was waiting for him and he couldn't wait to embark on it. Oh, as for where he is first headed, probably to the Lab to get a Pokémon so he can actually befriend a lucky Pokémon that is deserving of this 'loving' trainer's attention.
Personality: Arthur can be a loyal, trustworthy friend, but there is just one thing you have to watch out for. That idle temper that sits by and waits for the right moment to strike at you when you least expect it. If you keep annoying him to a certain degree he will do his best to avoid you or just outright challenge you just to get you away from him. Some would see this as a form of friendship and merely annoys him further. Although, annoying him more, actually makes you more likely to be his friend, because he's rather weird like that. Anyone taht doesn't want to fight him bores him outright, but he can also appear rather cool no matter what he's doing. Obviously relaxed and calm wherever he goes, and no matter the situation. Even if it's perilous, he will be level-headed and charge straight in to help someone who's in danger. Now, just cause he prefers Pokémon over humans doesn't mean he'll have a few assorted friends he's made on his journey, but just be warned. Arthur does "Bite to death"...AHAHHAHAH....I made a funny, but seriously...don't mess with him cause I know someone's dying to.
