His most prominent feature would definitely be his eyes, the unnaturally bright blue appearing almost luminescent. Fate would comment that it was due to his dark skin tone which brought out the bright, saturated blue, dismissing them, but knowing deep down that it was just the first sign that he was different. The second sign would be his hair, white as snow, styled to fall in front of his face in a pathetic attempt to make his eyes stand out just a bit less. The stark contrast between his skin colour and the rest of his features made him a visual target. Despite looking a bit small and frail, Fate is rather fit, hiding a good amount of muscle mass under the clothes he wore, but with his small stature Fate had learned to fight to defend himself. His clothing of choice varied depending on his setting, always dressing to blend in, but he kept a street-inspired style while travelling, wearing durable clothes modified from garments bought in a second hand store and modified to fit his build. On the road, hooded jackets were preferred as they helped him stay focussed while shielding him from the sun and rain. In larger crowds, he always removed the hood to make himself more approachable and accessible. [classy=one]P[/classy]ERSONALITY Fate loved to be with people, and people liked to be with Fate. His purpose in life was to make people like him and have fun with him. He fed off the smiles of the people around him and loved to spend time, loved to talk with them. He is a very good listener and he was always there as a shoulder to cry on. He loved to flirt and did not discriminate against anyone, because at the end of the day, it never mattered. Though he was a social butterfly that thrived on being with others, Fate was unable to form any deep attachments with anyone. He would call everyone around him terms of endearments, yet balks whenever the complement is returned. His friends were better defined as acquaintances since he kept absolutely everyone at arm's length. His inability to let anyone in stems from his major abandonment issues. He is terrified of losing someone close to him, and so he doesn't let anyone in at all. If he didn't grow attached, Fate believed that he could prevent any future heartache. He did not terribly mind, as he could forget that he was alone as long as he was surrounded by other people, as long as the attention was on him. His concept of leaving has been skewed by his past and he does not recognize it as a temporary thing anymore, often triggering unnecessary anguish. However, Fate is touch-starved and when he is alone, he tends to be a little bit self destructive. His mind is his worse enemy, feeding off his insecurities and paranoia, and he would do anything to stop listening to them, at his own detriment. He never really excelled at anything, which is why he valued the personal relations with others so highly. They were his treasure and he would do out of his way to ensure that people liked him. Fate has been taken advantage for his kindness before but he believes humans are all, at their core, nice people, and a few unfortunate encounters shouldn't ruin his view on human society. When meeting people, his first instinct is to simply smile at them and hope that they would not comment on how different he was. Fate treats his pokemon the same way he treats his friends. Though they are good at keeping him company and making him feel surrounded by friends, they were still kept at a distance. He refuses to nickname them personally, as it is a form of attachment, and simply calls them by a variant of their specie name. They were creatures of instinct, and even though they were good companions, they did not understand him -- just like everyone else. [classy=one]H[/classy]ISTORY O Fate was not his real name. Fate would swear up and down that it was the name given to him, when in reality, his father had named him Experiment 058, inseminated on may eight, eighteen years ago as part of a series of genetic experiments. He and his five siblings started out their lives in a test tube until. Three survived and were transferred into wombs, and 058 was the only one to have survived past the first week of life. His birth mother had done the best she could in raising him. Refusing to call him by mere numbers, she had bestowed him the name of O Fate. The geneticist hadn't stayed in the picture for long, deeming Fate a 'failed experiment'. A few years later, his mother fell ill and eventually succumbed to death's embrace. Foster care wasn't as bad as it could have been. Even as a boy, Fate was exceptionally good at charming the people around him. He learned that pleasing people made them happy and that happiness was definitely contagious. As long as there were smiles around him, he could forget the reality that he was past the age where adoption was a feasible reality for him. His foster family was kind and loving, but as he aged, even he could tell that he was never going to be a permanent fixture. Once he turned eighteen, Fate left everything he knew in search for answers. He wanted to know about him, why he was so different than everybody else, why things always seemed to be much harder for him to understand. Taking odd jobs and listened to the people around him, Fate learned about the world around him while searching for the scientist that had created him. Two years later, the man was no longer searching for his past, trying to chase his future instead. Realizing that his journey had taught him more about himself than his 'father' ever could, Fate bought a ticket to a region as far away as his money could carry, determined to start paving his own path. It did not matter that he had started out as a failed experiment that left him with luminescent eyes -- he was not different than any other human. He was going to live his own life and have his own adventures, surrounding himself with friends as he went.
