Tyro had just finished signing out a room and was now waiting within said room for a challenger. He had been told that somebody had accepted his challenge. He was looking around at his team and trying to decide on which Pokemon he was going to use here. Several of his Pokemon needed to be trained. Including Tithonus and Max. However, his stronger Pokemon deserved some action as well.... This would be a tough decision. Perhaps it should wait until his opponent decided to select their first Pokemon....
Well, he figured he may as well let everybody out. And so, he opened all of the Pokeballs he had on him. From the depths of the Pokeballs came the Pokemon he most wanted to train. Lan, his Charmander, who was his strongest Pokemon at the moment. Next was his Lucario, Haru. After that was the Pikachu Jason, and then Tithonus the Metapod and finally Max the Sandile. "Get ready guys...if we can keep going through these battles like this, then just maybe we might be finding ourselves in those expert rooms rather quickly...then you'll be able to fight some more powerful opponents." He sat back and waited with his Pokemon, wondering how long this other Trainer was going to keep him waiting.

It felt different, usually just sat outside and someone would waltz up to her and battle her. Luckily enough she has never lost a match at Trainer’s Lounge or anywhere as a matter of fact. She even won her first gym badge first try. Never the less, she was ready for a fight and expecting a win. But who knows, maybe this trainer would bring something fun into this battle, a two on two, three on three or some sort of crazy fight.
Rebecca found the room her match awaited in, gazing at the number for a moment before opening the door. On one side of the room stood a trainer and… All his pokemon out? Great, was this one of those hippies that loved pokemon so much that they were willing to hump them to? There was only ever one pokemon she allowed to follow her and that was her Growlithe. He obeyed and was never out of place, a very gentleman like pokemon. A gentlemon, maybe? Hey, it worked for her. At first, Rebecca didn’t even mutter a word. She just walked in, her face cold and her eyes even colder and stood on the opposite end of the room from Tyro. She placed a hand on her hip, gazing at Tyro, almost as if she were looking right through him. So, is there anything specific we’ll be doing? Any pokemon you need raised?I have plenty of them so just do whatever. I won’t care either way. Well, at least she wasn’t being an ass. Right now, she just didn’t really care. Really it was only in battles that she became excited or ruthless. When she is ruthless she’s bound to make some serious damage onto her opponents pokemon, all she needed was for her opponent to get full of himself and the rest she would do herself. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Notes:

Tyro looked over at the newcomer as she walked in. He quickly felt an unfriendly aura emanating from her. He glanced over at Haru, who had his arms crossed and didn't seem to enjoy the presence of this newcomer either. Oh well.... A battle was a battle, and training was training regardless of who he was up against. "Nothing special outside of the usual one on one battle, using however many Pokemon we feel like until we're done. Unless, of course, you want to throw some kind of twist in there. In which case, I'd probably be willing to roll with it."He looked down at his other Pokemon as well. The other three of them didn't seem to care much about their opponent either. He shrugged it off. "Unfortunately...most of them still need training that needs to be done. Max and Tithonus are still new, so they need it the most." He gestured toward the Sandile and Metapod. "But Jason, Haru and Lan aren't exactly strong enough for me to be satisfied. So really, they could all use some training of some sort." ::Charmander:: ::Lucario:: ::Pikachu:: ::Metapod:: ::Sandile:: Lv. 12 ~~~~~ Lv. 11 ~~~~~ Lv. 12 ~~~~~ Lv. 8.5 ~~~~~ Lv. 7

This guy was just as simple as her. Admirable, but it kind of bugged her too. She didn’t want to be the one to make the rules, it was sort of a drag. Ah well, it’s not too big of a problem. You and I two pokemon each. 1 on 1. I want to raise Polvere and Blaze, Muna and Growlithe respectively. I do hope to raise them well so they won’t be any worse than they already are. She wanted to train the Eevee, but at the moment she didn’t have the right materials to make it the pokemon she wanted which would be either an Umbreon, Jolteon, Leafeon or Glaceon. Rebecca pulled out two pokeballs, releasing the two creatures from their spherical home. Polvere is weaker than my Growlithe, but I do hope to strengthen them both quickly. Her eyes watched Tyro’s pokemon, watching to see which pokemon would come up to the challenge. I choose Muna first. Blaze, love, you can sit here with me and keep me company. Rebecca looked down to her canine companion, giving a small smile to which he responded with a happy bark. Polvere floated her way up first, stopping halfway between the two trainers. All that was left now was to start the battle…

Tyro simply nodded. "Alright, that sounds fine with me." he said. He looked at her first choice of Pokemon and thought about that. He had two Pokemon that he would like to put up against that. On one hand, his Sandile was the one who needed training the most. Max was still the weakest member of the team. But as he was a Dark-type Pokemon, it might not be too fair to battle against that Munna like this. He looked over at his other Pokemon. Tithonus, on the other hand, was stronger...but lacked the confidence. Plus his usual String Shot strategy wouldn't be nearly as effective against a Psychic Pokemon. In the end, Tyro decided to go with Max. He had shown her his Pokemon before the battle had started, and so she should have known what would be his most likely choice. Besides, a real Trainer should be ready for just about anything, right? He looked over at Max. "Then naturally, my Sandile, Max, will be going first for me." He didn't like using his Sandile, but he didn't really want to put an inexperienced Tithonus in there to scar him for life. The Sandile had quickly stepped out into the battlefield as his name was called. Tyro then looked down at the rest of his team. If his opponent was going to use a Growlithe next, he should think about which one of them he was going to use next. And then, it was time to battle. Max didn't wait for a command, nor did he wait for any logic to come to him at all. Instead, he just acted. To him, the moment he was called out was the moment the battle began. And thus, he managed to muster up the mightiest Leer he could...well, muster. When that was done, he leaped into the air, as high as his four small legs would spring him. He then came down, aiming to Bite the Munna on the head as hard as he could with a loud crunch. Oh how he loved to hear the crunch of his jaws snapping shut on an innocent Pokemon~ ::Sandile:: Max; Lv. 7 Gender: Male Moves: Leer, Rage, Bite, Rock Climb Abilities: Intimidate, Moxie Ability Activated! Rebecca nodded, signaling to start the battle. However, Tyro’s Sandile came at Polvere before anyone could give off a command. All Rebecca could do was stare as the Sandile leered at Polvere and then jumped with his massive jaws open before clamping them down. <Youch! We haven’t even started the battle yet! What was that for!?> The Muna whined a bit, especially after an attack like that. Rebecca swore under her breath, biting her lips at the same time to keep her from saying it too loud so that Tyro could here. I think your Sandile needs to be trained in… obedience. Polvere, Yawn and then Psywave. Polvere didn’t know any moves that would do any decent damage to Sandile and Psywave wouldn’t work at all in these conditions. The best she could do was to have her opponents pokemon fall asleep and keep him from doing too much damage.
Aye aye, Milady~ Polvere squealed in a british accent before opening her mouth to yawn at Max with her Yawn attack. With any luck the white cloud would hit him and he would be put to sleep. Next up was Psywave. Polvere focused her energy into a psychic energy, shooting it across the room to hit Sandile. However, this wouldn’t do much, if anything Rebecca was very sure. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Notes: I forgot to post the pokemon and stats last post so I’ll do it this time.

"...Yeah, I'm still working on him." was Tyro's response. "He's still new to the team...my newest, actually...so sorry about that." He sighed a bit. He really should pay a bit more attention with Max, he had to admit. Otherwise things like this would happen. But with a Pokemon like Max, he wasn't sure if that were really all that possible. Well, it was just a thing to keep in mind to try. In the meantime, he had a battle that needed to be completed...not that he'd have much of a part in it. If he knew Max, he would continue to fight on without his own input. Max grinned maliciously as his teeth sank into Polvere. He quickly jumped back, little crocodile tail wagging insanely. <Heheheh! What's wrong? Can't handle MAXIE!?> he jumped back and forth in place in his usual, excited manner. He slowed down a bit when the Psychic-type Pokemon's Yawn washed over him. He let out his own tired yawn, but wasn't ready to fall out just yet. Next up was the Psywave attack. The attack hit him...and that's about it. He didn't really feel a thing. But he didn't care. This was his chance. He rushed forward with another combination of the same. <Mmm...maybe one more taste before bed-time~> he called out before lunging forward with another Leer and Bite combo. ::Sandile:: Max; Lv. 7 Hit by Yawn and Psywave! {It doesn't affect Max!} Used Leer and Bite on Polvere! Either way, it bugged Rebecca because not only was this Sandile out of control, but he was very obnoxious. It’s fine, just a word of advice and try to get him under control. Rebecca wasn’t very chatty today, probably because she was always running into problems or something got on her nerve. In this situation, the Sandile.
<Can’t handle you? I just can’t handle how untamed you are. Absolutely out of control, no self-discipline at all> It bugged her, but either way she couldn’t actually take on the Sandile right now. Unless she had some sort of bug type move or just a move that could actually hurt him, she wasn’t going to win. Blaze, you’re taking the hit. Go in and protect Polvere! And you, come back! Blaze rose to his feet in a heartbeat, jumping out to take dark types attack. It didn’t do much, but it still hurt a bit nonetheless. Polvere, come back here. Rebecca called out her demands perfectly and with power behind her voice. This girl wasn’t going to take any crap and she certainly wasn’t going to lose her first pokemon so easily.
I’m sorry, but I’m sure you’ll understand why I did that.

Tyro saw the attacks hit, and then he saw the Pokemon switch. He couldn't help but smile a bit. Of course he understood what she was doing. After all, it was only logical to switch out the Pokemon. "Well if that's the case, then I just might be having to do a little switching up myself." If his opponent was going to make a switch to make things better for her, he would switch out to ensure that his Pokemon didn't get beaten down by a Pokemon he figured was a lot stronger. "Sorry Max, but you're going to have to come back for now." He lifted Max's Pokeball and returned the Sandile quickly. He didn't want to give the small Pokemon time to lunge forward at his new opponent almost immediately, like he knew that he would. Tyro looked over at the other Pokemon beside him. "Alright, Lan, why don't you give this a shot?" In response, the Charmander standing by stepped forward. What was Tyro's reasoning behind this? It was simple really...he thought that two Fire-type Pokemon fighting it out would be a lot more interesting. <Heheh...alright, now that I'm here, you may as well just give up.> He muttered with a confident smirk. <I NEVER lose. What else do you expect from the leader of the team?~> Lan crossed his arms and looked over at the Growlithe. <Come on, I'll even give you the first shot.> Of course, Lan wouldn't have been able to make the first move anyway, given the circumstances, even if he'd wanted to. But that was just a minor detail that he felt didn't need to be addressed. He stood there awaiting the Growlithe's opening move...though perhaps with a bit of overconfidence. ::Charmander:: Lan; Lv. 12 Switched out with Max

Rebecca was half hoping that he would send his Lucario to fight instead. Instead, he sent out a Charmander, quite odd but she didn’t care one way or the other. So we’ll be fighting fire with fire, then. Blaze, be a sweetheart and make sure you do your best. Blaze barked happily to Rebecca before turning his attention to the lizard. Were all this trainers pokemon complete jerks? <I accept your challenge. However, not all leaders are powerful, just a word of advice. Blaze smirked a little, a bit ticked at this Charmander’s attitude.
We’ll make the first move this time, then. Blaze, Bite. Blaze crouched down then sprinted towards Lan as fast as he could. His fangs poked out of his mouth, shimmering in the light like diamonds. This time, however, Tyro’s pokemon would feel the power of Rebecca’s pokemon.

Tyro couldn't lie...he had really been thinking of sending out his Lucario to fight. Simply because Haru hadn't gotten enough action recently. But...using Lan against this Growlithe was sure to be more interesting. "Alright Lan, I expect you to fight as well as usual." he said with a slight smirk. He knew that Lan was used to fighting his own battles by now, so that's what he intended for him to do this time. He had absolutely no plans to help Lan win this fight. This victory would be his and his alone. Lan gave a small nod to show that he understood and prepared himself for battle. He crouched down a bit and readied himself, since he knew his opponent would be trying to make the first move. And it appeared as though he were right, as the opposing Trainer called out a command that Blaze obeyed right away. Thanks to that little expectation, he was ready. he jumped to the side and was successful in dodging the Growlithe's fangs. He smirked as he did. <Heheh...you'll have to be better than that to beat me!> he called after Blaze went right past him. He then decided to show his opponent just what he was capable of. He jumped forward, chasing after the Growlithe this time. However, he had learned his lesson from a previous battle...using an Ember attack against another Fire Pokemon was just asking for trouble. He had two other moves he could use, and he planned to use them. He tried to lunge forward and tackle Blaze to the ground. At the same time, he tried to sink his own teeth into the Fire Pokemon's fur with a powerful Crunch attack. ::Charmander:: Lan; Lv. 12 Gender: Male Moves: Scratch, Growl, Ember, Smokescreen, Crunch Ability: Blaze Dodged Bite! How annoying. This battle wasn’t going nearly as well as she thought it would be and she was a fool to wish for the Charmander to use a fire type attack. The red head swore under her breath to vent her anger. Tch, fuckin’ shit… she whispered to herself, hopefully not loud enough for Tyro to hear though. Blaze took a pretty nasty attack on his side though; this pokemon was not too bad he’d have to admit. Blaze shook off the fire lizard then jumped back to regain his ground and get ready for the next attack. The problem was that he wanted to knock this cocky Charmander down a few notches for being so full of himself, this would prove to be hard though.
Blaze, be a darling and use Double-Edge to get back at Charmander, would you? The frail trainer raised her hand to deliver the command, this attack would hit and she would make sure that it would hurt too. As much as Blaze hated this move for the pain it gave him, he complied and chargered at his opponent pokemon with as much power in his body as he could pack. A strong move like this may be worth the extra health though, who knew?

Lan grinned as he felt his teeth sink into the Growlithe's warm fur. He was quick to jump away, however. He was well aware of the fact that his opponent could attack him if he stayed so close for too long. <Heheh...sorry, but you're going to have to be stronger than that if you want to do ANYTHING to the likes of me.> he said with a slight smirk. <I bet that you won't even be able to land a single paw on me if that's the best you can-> But he had been too busy bragging to notice his opponent had already started his next attack. Lan had cut his sentence off the moment he saw the Growlithe rushing at him with a Double Edge attack. Unfortunately for him, he had seen it too late, and Blaze's body rammed into him with a powerful blow. The hit was strong enough to cause a loud yelp of pain to escape from Lan's throat. He was sent tumbling backward from the power of the attack. The tumbling stopped and he slid on his back a few feet away. Shaking his head, he tried to get back to his feet. But the powerful blow had left him a bit dizzy, and he was quick to fall back to the ground again. This was quite a bad position for him. That stupid Charmander was hit by Blaze’s Double Edge attack, very badly in fact which made Rebecca smirk and clench her fist in happiness. Blaze too, was just as happy to have laid out that obnoxious pokemon onto his back. What was even better was that he was so dizzy he could barely stand up! What a good hit! <I do admit you’re good, but gloating is never a good way to show that you’re good, you know. As much as the Growlithe hated this fir lizard, he felt like it was up to him to make him less of a… well… Less of a douchebag more or less.
Well let’s not give up this opportunity then, Blaze. Use Bite. Blaze acknowledged the next command, nodding before going to bite the fire type. Blaze growled slightly, showing off his pearly whites as he did. Those pretty white shiny teeth were going to go all over the Charmander’s body, that Charmander won’t even know what hit him. The Growlithe rushed towards Lan again, this time using his Bite attack. He lunged, opened his mouth, and hoped for the best.
